I went to this lovely pub on Saturday 21st September and don’t usually leave reviews but felt I had to due to a recent negative review left by someone else. I can definitely recommend the burgers which are always very tasty and in my opinion good value for money for what you get. I have never found the food at this location to be salty and visit here a number of times each year as it is quite local to me and have never had a bad meal. I have never felt rushed by any of the staff at any time and they are always very polite and pleasant. I am not affiliated to this pub in any way but have been coming here for a number of years mainly because of the good food they serve. My advice to anyone before complaining on trip advisor would be that if you ever feel you receive a service or meal you are unhappy with at any location then it is always best to mention this to the staff or manager at the location first.

Popped in today for a catch up with family. I ordered a Sunday roast and a pint. Food was good however portion size for the price was a little disappointing. Be aware of a service charge too, that doesn’t appear on your bill. My receipt showed £22.75 but was charged £25.75 cash. The lady on the counter said it was a service charge so that is why the receipt didn’t match what i had paid. Staff friendly. Kid friendly too offering a little outdoor play area. 👍🏻

Came here a few years ago , thought we'd try it again , the menu has a good selection but the food was very average, I had a burger and my partner the steak and we both thought our meals were extremely salty. To be fair we didn't complain at the time which in hindsight we definitely should have, but the pub was starting to get busy and we'd already had a really long wait for my partners pudding (also very mediocre) . Staff friendly enough, if a little rushy to begin with (showed us to our table & asking what drinks we wanted before we were even sat down) I would say definitely not worth the prices they charge , and the service charge is completely unnecessary on an already overpriced menu (for what it is) . We won't return

If you look on the map this looks really close to two major motorways, but you would never know as you approach it down a single-track lane and then sit in the various parts of the garden! A characterful pub with a good menu choice - I had the "Cowboy chilli", which seemed expensive at £16.95 but turned out to be a very generous portion of chilli, rice, jalapenos, tortilla chips and plenty of sour cream, all served separately from each other. I also enjoyed a well kept real ale. Staff were very friendly and efficient. A number of the outdoor tables were taken by people with dogs, and water bowls were available for them. There is plenty of parking. Be warned: most mobile networks have almost no signal here, but fortunately they offer free wifi.

Great pub with plenty of parking and right on the North Downs Way. It gets busy on weekends, especially Sunday for Roast meals. There is ample seating outside. The real ale selection wasn't great when we visited (London Pride) but they had plenty of keg lagers, nothing spectacular however. Service was friendly and quick. Group of old fat gents at the bar made it slightly unwelcoming but weren't too obnoxious. A great pub for Sunday lunch and exploring the North Downs from.

Me and my parents wanted a nice pub for some lunch. I had seen this pub recommended alot so I decided to book a table. First impression pub looked lovely, large parking area, really nice garden with outdoor seating. When I walked in I was greeted by a polite gentleman who came over to our table and asked if I would like a drink. There was a good selection of food choice on the menu, I choose the chicken wrap and a side of fries, my mum and brother had the Hunters Chicken and my dad also chose a wrap with some chips. Food came quickly and hot. Everyone commented on how large the meals were and all of us really enjoyed the food, apart from one small thing, the chips were far too salty(even for me lol). This didnt ruin our experience here, as it is a really friendly, welcoming and lovely pub. I will definitely come back and visit again.

What a shame. The Robin Hood pub has become the Robbing Hood! A once beautiful spot is now rapidly going down hill. I would advise people to not eat here at all cost! The food is dreadful and extremely overpriced! Parts of the garden are overgrown with a kids seesaw rotting and unsafe! It's a matter of time before a child is injured! The current owners should be ashamed with what this once beautiful pub has become! We ordered a burger and chips and what was described on the menu as prawn cocktail. Both dishes were dreadful. Food not even fit for a dog is no exaggeration. As if that wasn't bad enough we walked into the garden for our son to play and a waitress flew out the door after us demanding payment for the food which was on a tab! We were suddenly treated as if we were going to do a runner which was very bizarre and is probably an indication of many people not paying for their extremely awful food! All in all if you enjoy raw burgers and fancy remortgaging your house in order to afford a prawn cocktail with no sauce and a couple of bits of lettuce whilst putting your kids on danger with dangerous rotting hazards then this is the place for you! Oh and the beer is also stale too!

The minute you walk into this pub you sense its history. Low ceilings, small side room/bar, woodstove, interesting memorabilia and a pretty garden for the summer. Lots of added space for restaurant meals also. Our needs were simple, hot chocolate and warmth after long walk through the beautiful Monks Wood. We received a friendly welcome which is always appreciated. What also is especially appealing about the Robin Hood is its location. Set at the end of a woodland walk, or if driving, off Common road, it's tucked away setting feels restful and secluded. Long may it continue..We will revisit with family. Moving forward from our previous winter visit and review, today we again enjoyed the wonderful Robin Hood Pub. Our order included beer battered cod and chips; batter was done to perfection, crunchy generous sized chips served with a fresh crisp salad. Large portions and importantly cooked to order, so temperature of cod and chips perfect. Guinness & shandy ice cold. Customer service excellent plus a very interesting back story about RH history & about tollgates ( adjacent to RH land) and notoriety for robberies, due to being bordered between two territories of governance (Sherrif of Nottingham and Guthrum, the Danish warlord). Fascinating history.

Visited this cafe for lunch today, something I had been meaning to do for ages but never quite got round to it. I'm so glad I found time. Cafes are becoming a rarity, probably because of the proliferation of the chain multiple fast food places. This cafe has bucked the trend and appears to be thriving. Once you have eaten there, you will soon see why. The first thing you notice is that it is spotlessly clean. The tables are cleared and relaid immediately after each customer. The service is first class with happy smiling staff who are very friendly. The food was served quickly, and it arrived on warm plates and piping hot. Above all, there was plenty of food which was absolutely delicious. I shall return as soon as possible. If you are in the area and feeling peckish, swerve the KFC, Greg's etc and pop into Goodfellas. It's a real gem!

Great little place . It is not the easiest place to find as it is inside Snodland Antiques Centre which used to be the old cinema back in the day . The food is freshly cooked and there are some amazing home made cakes that are made by the owner Hannah who incidentally was the lead singer of Bananarama before Siobhan Farley . Once you have found it you will definitely go back .

My family treated me to an Afternoon Tea with the help of Cupcake Heart. The request had been for it to be delivered as early as possible as my son knew I was going out, and it arrived just after 9am. The quantity of food was very generous, 1 box was almost enough for 2. The quality of food was outstanding, I was still eating it 2 days after receiving it and everything was still fresh. There was good variety in both the sandwiches and cakes. Thank you Cupcake Heart for helping me enjoy my birthday in this unusual year.
