Really friendly service, the lady serving us went above and beyond! Friendly, lovely fresh food! Highly recommend! Preparing the food efficiently and all members of staff seemed really friendly and helpful!

Very unclean... Felt very dated no air circulation, very sticky dirty tables table numbers were covered in food that they give you. Don't recommed actually left my food as it felt very unclean.

Excellent place. Everything fresh and tasty. Staff very friendly and helpful. A place to relax and have good breakfast , pastries. Coffee as always in UK not the best but with cardamom seed’s taste much better.

Lovely staff however the aircon doesn't work (for over four years apparently!!!!) The inside temperature is uncomfortable. If the owners can't be bothered to get it fixed, we and other customers will go elsewhere, loads to choise from.

OK I'm addicted, another Lardy cake, but this time "London Cheesecake". Good that U can place an order for them, which is handy. My only complaint being the jam in the LC, was not 2 my liking. I think the problem is, I really liked the Greggs version. This version of the classic London treat, had a taste 2 it. Nonetheless, still nice 2 eat with a hot cuppa cha.

We had a family visit to the Good Taste cafe at the Country Market. Toasted tea cakes were not toasted on half (prob due to size) but delivered by young lad who was very friendly. The problem came when we had to return a cappuccino due to taselessness. It was replaced but brought to the table by an older lady who never even acknowledged us or apologised. It is possibly the worst customer service I have received.

Since Greggs in Farnborough doesn't do them, I decided 2 cough up some dosh, walk a little bit down the centre & visited GTB., a nice, warm comfy Bakery, with plenty of seating & a nice selection of cakes, baked items & light lunches. My go-to product @ this time was a Lardy Cake, a firm family favourite when I was growing up. Now down 2 the review : a good effort, suitably "lardy", covered in sugar which has caramalised & a generous sprinkling of fruit. My only complaint is the fruit had migrated 2 1 layer of the cake, ... I seem 2 remember that coating cherries in cakes, stops them from doing the same thing, maybe this could B done 4 the hapless LC. Nonetheless, tasty heated up with a big mug of T.

Ate breakfast here when we were staying in Farnborough. Food was great and service good. We’d just suggest they clean the couch area at the back as the seating looked pretty dirty.

My friend & I always went to Good Taste in Camberley but that has sadly closed. So, we were pleasantly surprised to come across the one in Farnborough! We had cheese & ham toasties which were delicious. The staff were absolutely brilliant, & we felt very comfortable in there. We enjoyed our lunch there very much & will definitely go again😊

Been going here for a while and was pleased when they reopened after lock down as I'm a big fan of supporting independents, cakes are the highlight here, truthfully I usually take away as I find the seating area a little uncomfortable and old fashioned for my taste. The reason I'm giving 3 not 5 stars is I was shocked to be told today by the member serving that face masks aren't needed in store, there is little protection anywhere in that branch and found it quite disconcerting. That being said the server was really friendly and got great service from her just a pity safety isn't given the same attention as the cakes and service.

Had afternoon tea with friends.. great choice of sandwiches, scones were creamy and buttery with fresh strawberry jam and clotted cream... and the mini lemon meringue and strawberry tarts were amazing!!! I would not hesitate to recommend this place.

Went for lunch with my Nan. We first ordered drinks, then got asked by a guy if we wanted food (who working on the till with dirty nails but also handling food). Then I noticed 2 female staff members preparing sandwiches one after the other (different bread and fillings - yet no gloves worn or hand washes between making different food). My roll I ordered was off the special menu (gammon, apple sauce and stuffing - but I had no apple sauce!) except when it arrived it was more stuffing with 2 tiny half slices of gammon, which didn’t even fill the bread. So it tasted more of a stuffing roll than anything else! I don’t think I will be rushing back!

Cafe’s located midway along Farnborough’s drab and uninviting Queensmead outdoor precinct. Inside there’s plenty of seating (plus a few outdoor tables for smokers) but the whole place could do with a deep clean - crumbs and spilt food under tables, disgracefully stained bench fabric seating, tatty furniture well past expiry date and you can see surfaces (glazed areas in particular) have been “cleaned” with a dirty rag. All of which is unfortunate as staff are friendly and prices reasonable.

I visited good taste coffee and would much prefer to go into this coffee shop than any others! The staff were lovely, quick service, amazing quality food. Good taste food defiantly tastes good! Will be going here all the time!

The women who took my order i found her quite rude .. i didnt like that way she was talking at me.. bad customer service. Never going back

Good Taste Bakery are you really sure. £15 for 2 panninis and and 2 coffees. Do not have any objection to paying this amount for good quality food but what we received was diabolical. Had to clear and clean table before we could sit down and then to top it off what we were served up can only be described as baby sick between a baguette and then toasted. The filling was supposed to be Brie, Cheddar and Red Onion Marmalade. Coffee was very mediocre. First visit and last.

As said in the title the food was very nice also made a good coffee/latte. However there were tables that were dirty and crumbs all over the seat. Although there was seat that were clear the more comfortable seats were left dirty for some time

Regular visitors here because the food is fresh and tasty and the service is fabulous. Massive mug of tea or coffee with a great lunch or a sweet treat. Give it a try if you haven't yet!

Visited on a Saturday around 2pm, to be greeted by a completely uninterested server. When ordering what we would like, she chose not to write it down or key it into the register as we said it. So when she started to SHOUT to her male colleague at what to get from the pastry section, she said incorrect items which we had to then correct. My wife was also asked what milk she wanted in her smoothie which she advised skimmed to the lady, but when another member of staff started making the smoothie she asked the server about which milk to use and she told her semi skimmed. Luckily the young man behind the counter had paid attention to what my wife said (even though he wasnt our server) and corrected this before the smoothie was made.

The staff were excellent; however, the cornish pasty and coffee left a lot to be desired. I asked for a capuccino but it was more a cross between macchiato and latte. The pastry of the cornish pasty was very dry and there was very little filling.

Staff are always lovely and the food is always nice. They do an amazing hot chocolate although could be slightly hotter. Always good for a nice lunch.

A pit stop while out getting a few supplies. Friendly staff and fresh hand made food is always good. I have to say tasty sausages in the egg and sausage roll. Good quality and not cheap and nasty. A good surprise on a chance and see.

Called in Thursday afternoon for a much needed hot drink. Almost empty and chose to sit in bucket seats by window. Couldn't sit down until I had cleaned chairs of crumbs and also table. Floor was littered with crumbs and bits of food (not just at this table). My husband's coffee was fine but I ordered a hot chocolate which I didn't drink as it was so sweet. I've never tasted a hot chocolate with so much sweetener before.

Popped in early Saturday morning as I'd been sent to get coffee for everyone helping move a friends house. As Costa had run out of panini a and I wasn't familiar with Farnborough, I decided to give this independent place a try.

fabulous honey & spelt bread sold here, freezes well, toasts well, can be sliced or not, lovely for sandwiches too.

We use this place regularly when we come to Farnborough. The layout is very spacious which is great if we have my twin grand-daughters double buggy with us or if you are in or with a wheelchair user. It is always spotlessly clean and the staff are very friendly and welcoming. The menu is vast and nothing is too much trouble for the staff. The food is well presented, quickly prepared and is served hot and fresh. The value for money is good. Long may they serve!

Love this place, my nan, auntie, grand auntie and myself have been going in here for the last few Wednesdays as part of our shopping day. We are always very pleased with our food always fresh and you get a lot for your money. Staff always happy and friendly and always willing to help. So just want to say a big thank you.

I love the range of bread served up here and the many pastries too. I always end up buying more than planned!! I also love the sausages served in a crusty roll ..... scrummy!!!!!

We often pop in here when we visit Farnborough (my hometown) and we usually get take out of cakes lol. Always fresh cakes and bread, friendly staff, place is clean and well looked after. If I walk near by the window and they have iced fingers I am in there like a shot!

The woman serving put my tart in a cellophane bag instead of a box. I walked less than 10 feet with it and it became mush as the pastry was already a soggy mess. If they didn't have a box to put it in they should have said and I could have reconsidered my choice instead of wasting my money. We were already unimpressed with the food from there and this was last straw.

The Good Taste Bakery is very popular, this is evident by the large queues that can form at peak times, a necessary side effect of most everything being made fresh and to order.

Excellent local bakery selling a range of cakes and bread. Also excellent cafe and serving light meals and a good range of beverages. Friendly staff and deaf friendly.

This place is nice. It's just VERY overpriced. The service is good, staff are lovely. Small portions as well considering the price!

Nice coffee, which ever way you like it. Their cakes and pastries are wonderful. Friendly staff and always clean and tidy.

We wished to have lunch during Christmas shopping - haven't been into this café for a while. To my surprise and delight it still serves one of the best tasting Latte - together with using their own bread and cakes we thoroughly enjoyed 2 Large Granary Baps. Everything tasted extremely fresh, the Coronation Chicken Salad Bap was beautiful and the salad that came with the Bap was good. I would thoroughly recommend this place - its was extremely clean - you aren't packed into small places - the staff were very friendly and nothing was too much trouble. The bonus is all their own great tasting products.
