Not the same since Gino left, but I suppose it will improve .and the staff are still learning and will get quicker in time.

Lovely cafe with ample parking right on the riverbank. Meet up with friends then have a lovely walk along the river then back for a hot tea and snack.

This ‘Gino’ guy is not only rude but can’t make a cappuccino or even pretend to do so Sadly he actually doesn’t even care Avoid unless absolutely desperate because you will end up regretting it I promise you

Myself and a friend walked to the cafe with our three children. Gino was so rude to us, even to my young son, that I was very taken aback! The lady working there also appeared to be receiving much verbal abuse from Gino and was nasty and stressed. The ice cream was more expensive than central London prices and served in tiny cones.. very small portions. A nasty man with a nasty place!! Do not go! If you walk another fifteen minutes up the river there is a fabulous ice cream van selling delicious, good sized portions of Mr Whippy ice cream!!

Don’t bother....the coffee is expensive, the food looks awful. The owner clearly doesn’t get on with people and has zero customer service skills! My friend and I where having a coffee here when some more of our friends turned up...4 of in total. My dog was excited to see one of my friends so barked only a couple when she arrived. Much to our shock the owner ran out and shouted at us to leave and then told us we hadn’t ordered enough? His behaviour was absolutely appalling and embarrassing. My advice to anyone going there....Don’t!! What an awful experience.

I have visited Gino's a lot, because of it's location and I can take my dog. I have always thought it was extortionately expensive, but have continued to visit because of the convenience. However, we had an awful experience today. To start with, my friend and I did not have enough cash to buy two coffees (£2.80 each!) We were 50p short and found that cards were accepted. I ordered my coffee, was told that it would take a bit of time and to sit down. I waited and waited. Finally, I went up to see if it was ready and was told quite rudely that I had left it there. I was handed it in a paper cup, despite saying I wasn't taking it away. My dog, together with other dogs, started barking at another dog, which had arrived. I calmed my dog down, but he did bark on and off. I have never had an issue with him at this cafe before. The owner came over to me (my dog wasn't even barking at this point) and told me, I'm a very rude way, to keep my dog quiet or I had would have to leave. Whilst I realise it must be annoying for others, particularly with no dog, I was doing all I could and he wasn't constantly barking. I was made to feel very embarrassed, as everyone was staring at me. I stood up and said I would leave and the reply was "good". I couldn't even find a lid for my coffee and would have finished it by then, had I been told it was sitting on the counter. I told the owner I would never go back and that the coffee is far too expensive. It should and could be a really lovely place to visit, but it isn't. I won't be returning.

A group of us met there for a cycle ride. One of the group arrived early and had a coffee whilst waiting for the rest. We all soon arrived and after greeting each other we were not very politely asked to either order or move off. We explained we were going on a ride and would be back. However, whoever he was, not happy and again told us to order then or leave. I could understand if it was busy - there were only a few people there with a number of empty tables. Obvious we weren’t welcome - so we left. Shame, as we would have had something on our return but due to the attitude didn’t bother. So their loss.

Ginos is a great venue located just over the road from the river. Open air dining with lots of tables and it also has a roof for not so sunny days or if you don’t like to sit in direct sun. Easy access with free parking right next door and wide entrances at front and rear so wheelchairs will not have an issue. Dogs are welcome. Staff are lovely and funny and the food is cooked to order and is hot and very nice. You place your order at the window and they will call your number to get it. One table has bottles of condiments to dress your food before taking it to your table. A pain if someone removes the bottle you want! The only negative comment I have to make is that, for a cafe, it is breathtakingly expensive. For what I paid for snacks and tea I could have almost bought everyone a full pub roast dinner! I will go back but stick to drinks only because I don’t want a second mortgage!

Have been several times and used to love the van and always thought Gino's was a little gem. However visiting on Easter Monday after a hot sunny weekend proved disappointing as most things had run out and what was left wasn't quite as good as usual. Best to go when weather is poor and the place is quieter so you get a much better quality meal. So this visit wasn't great but we have had some five star visits before and will call in again.

Gino's is in a great location near to the river and parkland with a large free car park next to it. The staff were friendly and the food was fine for our mid morning snack. It's a cafe with lots of outside seating and much of it is covered for those rainy days. Easy parking for a nice walk along the Thames followed by a bite to eat at Gino's.

We came here for a snack after our boat trip along the Thames (directly opposite). Very popular on a sunny day and it's a cafe so does what it says on the tin! staff are friendly and inviting. Well worth stopping here for a snack of any kind.

A popular riverside cafe where one can take a light lunch and watch the world go by, plenty of life on the river as we ate our lamb kebab, omelettes and sipped coffee or fruit juice. There’s ample parking and ground nearby to frolic in the sun. A very friendly team of two running this busy cafe.

We had been walking the Thames Path from Weybridge to Walton and saw this cafe. At first we thought it would just have a limited selection of sandwiches or burgers, as it looked like a park cafe. However we had been walking a while and the nearest riverside pub would have been another 20 minutes so we took a look. We were delighted by the choice of food. My husband had a Greek salad with ciabatta and I had a chicken kebab with potato wedges, The kebab was freshly cooked and very tasty. The building which looked as if it had been decorated with leaf stencils is actually decorated with wood cut outs of leaves. There was a lady in a wheelchair sitting at an outside table and when I visited the loos they were spotless, and there was an accessible toilett as well

Driving along the Thames at Walton, I came across this cafe which surprised me as it wasn't listed. Anyway, parked the car up and walked over and ordered a cup of tea, a quick snack and sat down and enjoyed the views of the Thames

As per title, what more do you need. You can also ask them to make some changes to bits you don't like , say like "no tomatoe" or whatever. Also the chips are epic and the welsh rarebit is the best!

I go to the pub regularly and have always enjoyed the veggie breakfast Over the last few months they have changed the sausages to an inferior brand and today I had the small veggie breakfast, which has shrunk dramatically from it's previous self. Bit disappointing, all about margins of course
