Arrived not too busy had a table for two. Chosen off the lunch menu. I had haddock and chips husband had cod cooked in curry batter with chips. Didn’t have to wait to long. My haddock was very tasty husbands cod not so nice. We also had a dessert apple crumble and custard, well what can I say!! The crumble was uncooked so was returned with a complaint. Just said sorry and didn’t charge us, I should think not. We also noticed a chap had sent his starters back as it was still frozen, I think the chef was having a bad day Sorry to say we will not be returning. Shame really

We sat down at 12pm.Got our main meal 12.45.When it did arrive the batter was nearly as white as the fish for both of us.For Between the Batter and the fish it was sticky/insipid uncooked mixture,When we queried it with the staff we where told that if we wanted darker batter we should have ordered the curry batter. Our reply was that we do not like or wanted curry batter but fully cooked batter to which it was not.It was taken away and returned from being put back in the fryer again of which we told we would have new fresh fish and chips. The chips was just left under the heat light to go hard, the peas that we ordered had also gone cold so they where also reheated not fresh and the bread was also dry.THhe haddock that wasTwice cooked wasn't and the supposedly twice cooked chips were left to go dry under a heat lamp. This is nothing like of what you claim to that you serve traditional British dishes From where it all Began on your advert for Georges Great British Kitchen you have left the rails some time ago to this ,From when we first visited here many times from the beginning when it first opened tis now, Its gone down hill in more ways than one. There cannot beans excuse that you was busy for there was only a few tables in use when we came in To have poor service and most importantly poor standard of food severed too us You have have lost two old customers from now on......Properly under a new management for you are clearly not what you started off with just look at your photos not advertising a true form of your selves..

I came to Lloyds for a few drinks and food if your well aware the Wetherspoon's food isn't that good and I thought that the curry would be a safe option. But sadly it wasn't The curry did come with samosas naan bread which was ok but the curry wasn't The curry you can tell it Patak's curry from a jar and there wasn't enough rice on the plate To be honest I can make better curries than the crap you get from wethersponns

Absolutely appalled with the service or lack of at pearl house. 1.5hrs after placing the order we called and were told they were busy, but the food would be there in 20 minutes and was ‘cooking now’. We waited another hour, still no food, so we attempted to follow up by calling again. After 30 attempts from the phone associated with the order number we couldn’t get through. I then called on my wife’s phone, they answered straight away. They said the order ‘is right in front of them’ and will be out soon. It did then arrive sometime after, however an item was incorrect. Communication and customer service go a long way regardless of order volume / how busy they are. Both were failed by Pearl House. Very disappointed.
