Gbk in Bristol, City of

The restaurant and bathroom were amazingly clean. The food was hot, tasted amazing, the shake especially. I’d even go as far to say it was the best meal I’ve had, atleast for a long time. The staff were incredibly accommodating to us (Mia), allergy’s and were very patient. 10/10

Lunchtime. Monday 15th July. Cabot Circus. We had a second helping of this particularly unfortunate staff member. (The first time we walked past the ‘wait to be seated sign’ since there was literally no-one in the place and when he came out I waved and said “Is this table ok?” Indicating the one we had approached. He made us wait back at the sign while we watched him move from kitchen to bar and only after several minutes did he approach us again with a fixed smile asking “Table for two?” -as if the previous few minutes had not occurred! We avoided GBK for some time after this and happily have met helpful friendly staff since. Until yesterday.) All I’m going to say is …If this was my restaurant I would not be placing on front of house someone who’s main drive is to project his overwhelming uncontainable and unmanageable frustrations onto his unsuspecting customers. I would be suggesting 5 times a week psychoanalysis. Narcissism can be tricky to work with but there’s always hope. A deeply unhappy person. But the burgers are quite nice.

We Will Never go back . Daughters 18th choice For a Quick meal . We had no initial indication that our meal would take over one hour to receive . The sides all went back as cold. In the hour + we waited At Least 10 Deliveroo couriers came And Went . Please be one or the other . Delivery/ or Service restaurant .

Restaurant was cold due to the air conditioning being on, had to put my coat on which isn't a nice experience when you go for dinner. meal went cold before finished eating unfortunately

Absolutely gorgeous food! The best burger I've ever had! Lovely atmosphere in the restaurant and the staff were very helpful.

We liked the food but we had a bad experience dining here. They would not honour my student discount despite us meeting all of the requirements in the studentbeans app. We also had to order on an app which is impersonal and time consuming. Staff need educating on the offers you have for students. Really disappointing, we won’t be back.

The burguer is very very small for the price £14. It is tasty however I was expecting a decent size of burger 🍔 . I won’t come back

MacDonalds or Burger King or any burger fast food restaurant would be better. Had to wait 30 minutes after ordering to receive burger. When it came it was minute. With one tiny strand of onion, barely a slice of tomato and a bit if lettuce. Save your cash!

The food took a HORRENDOUS amount of time to come to the table, I felt as if I could not physically carry on if the food took any longer.I was absolutely starving. That was only the start. When the food finally arrived it was so dry I could feel it scraping down my throat and I couldn’t even soothe my aching oesophagus with the lukewarm water provided as the glasses were HALF the size of a shot glass. IT WAS UTTERLY RIDICULOUS . LOL jk it was absolutely lush and I definitely recommend the food doesnt take long and it is so yummy 🤤

POSITIVES: Good location in Bristol's main shopping mall. Clean inside and out. Welcomed and shown to table, and the waiter brought the menu and explained that we could order via the App or walk up to the counter. The burgers were good quality and well cooked and prepped. NEGATIVES: We used the App to order, it took a few minutes to set up an account and verify via email and then start looking through the menus. But we were thinking that's so much like ordering a takeaway, isnt the whole point of coming to a restaurant to have a personal contact and a waiter who is part of the experience. Not in gbk. One of the chips options on the menu wasn't available. My friend and I ordered our food separately on our apps. My friend's drink arrived a couple of minutes later. Mine didn't. There didn't seem to be a cohesion that they had 2 orders for the same table number. Then 10 mins later my friend's burger and fries arrived. I asked for my drink. My drink was served, and a few minutes later my burger. My friend was already part way through hers. My fries were warm, not hot. There was no sign of our onion rings side dish, but that did arrive a few minutes later. Fries don't come with burger, so a burger, fries, side, and a coke will cost £25. SUMMARY: Didn't like the App experience inside a restaurant and didn't want the alternative of walking up to the counter to order; if its a restaurant please serve us. We didn't add a tip because we barely received any service except the waiter (who was polite and helpful enough) bringing the food at different times. Food was good but not exceptional, I prefered Honest Burger and there are plenty of other burger alternatives for next time. So, medium marks for OK but we won't bother returning.

My husband and I had a delicious hamburger and onion rings. Maybe it's a little pricey but it really worths it. Highly recommended!

We waited nearly an hour for the food with no apology or acknowledgement from the wait staff. Almost all tables were sat waiting for similar amounts of time and the wait staff hid by the kitchen avoiding us. By the time the food finally was delivered it was okay. The well done burger was a little burnt but the food was fine overall, if not a little overpriced. Albeit we went on a Friday night, the restaurant was empty (6-7 tables at best) and yet the delivery orders were still given priority. That paired with the hour wait and complete disregard from the wait staff; I would not recommend.

Service good. Excellent menu with loads of choices. Burger cooked to order, served quickly and food hot and tasty. Reasonable price too. Would recommend.

We walked in on a very quiet Thursday afternoon- the front fo house waiter is on the phone leaning against a table displaying the menus and biting his nails. He does not even acknowledge my boyfriend and I. I took two menus from the table he was at and found a table. After waiting for 3 mins, no one payed us any attention, even though he was now off the phone and there were waitresses on their phones behind the bar.It was awful. I will never visit a GBK restaurant again.

It was really busy but they managed to find us a table, unfortunately it was behind a large table with lots of little ones who liked to climb around and was a little noisy. There was a wait for drinks and food, when it arrived it was fresh and nice. It was a little uncomfortable with people queuing right behind our table whilst we was trying to eat and it did become very busy. Not sure I would visit this location again. Staff were all pleasant.

Sunday lunch after visiting an exhibition. Pleasant greeting on entering and shown to table promptly. Chose our selections from a very good menu and ordered at the bar. Despite plenty of diners food came with very little waiting time. The burgers were fantastic and cooked as had been requested. Definitely go again.

Food quality is excellent, portions are generous and the staff are friendly and helpful. Paying as you order is very efficient- but it meant I forgot to leave a tip....

I ate here before visiting the cinema with friends. The service was poor, they did not tell us that we had to order at the bar so we sat not knowing what to do!

Food & customer service has always been very good for us. But sometimes mistakes are made in any business. Having recognised a mistake had been made the manager & staff were superb. Thank you for resolving. We will definitely return.

Very welcoming staff, food lovely although a little pricey for burgers even though they tasted fabulous. My grandson loved it and wanted to go again.

The Burgers here are just perfect. The price is right and the service immaculate. Ask for the classic burger and the offer of a free carafe of water.

Decent burger and fries. Warm red wine? Luke warm service. Whilst the waitress rang up the orders, the ‘manager’ chatted to two young women outside. I had to go to the pass to collect our food!! To complete the ‘couldn’t care less’ picture, there was no apology or even acknowledgment from staff at their complete failure and lack of interest. Pathetic.

This place is absolutely perfect, the staff were absolutely a delight very attentative and were able to anticipate your needs before you even knew it! Food was quick and delicious, they were out of a lot of stuff (it was sunday night after Black Friday weekend!) but there was still loads to choose from and we were not missing anything. Highly highly recommend. Really excellent, they should be very proud of this paticular branch, it is a fantastic example of what GBK is <3

Been there with many mates for a catch up and lunch. Is a bit squeezed as is no privacy talk as the tables is mostly united. But the food is really good, we been serve by a Spanish lady with a piecing. She was very positive and smily wish made as comfortable. We order superfood salad btw is amazing. Everything was delicious we had time to chat and we been well looked after. Deffo fully recommend!!

We haven’t stopped here for a while & thought why not try it again. It wasn’t very busy & the service was good from the moment we entered. Our drinks turned up quickly & our food soon after. The burgers were very filling and I choose the chocolate milkshake which I wish I hadn’t as it was delicious but very filling and had small tasty chocolate chips in it. The restaurant was very clean and we had no complaints.

Fancied some lunch after shopping an the GBK looked good just what we fancied. Staff were very friendly an helped us choose our burgers. When they arrived they looked so inviting we had the cheese burger an the taxi burger with a portion of skinny chips. We washed it down with some ginger beers. Felt really satisfied an contented. We shall return.

I absolutely love GBK in cabots we've been numerous times and never had one bad visit the burgers always taste amazing, the starters are all delicious, the sweet potato fries are the best I've tasted and hands down the satay burger is the best thing you will ever eat!

Tomé una hamburguesa veggie con sweet potato fries y un batido enorme que estaba de muerte. es pequeño pero no había demasiada gente en ese momento y cene muy bien. Recomendable si te gustan las hamburguesas (aunque no comas carne!)

Visited here with some friends after some shopping and went to order food. My two friends hold military badges and therefore gained discount at the till... I asked to use my student card... of which I was able to use to gain discount.... IF i had their app too.... This was inconvenient as the wifi was rubbish and it would have still been the same outcome once I had the app. Seems somewhat awkward and pointless.

Me and my boyfriend were looking for a place to have dinner in cabot circus and came across GBK. We looked at the outside menu thinking it was a bit pricey but went in anyway. All the staff we came across were lovely and really helpful. I had a milkshake which i was amazed by. Wasn't sure what i'd be getting for a £5 milkshake but was more than satisfied when it was brought to our table! it was huge and tasted great! our food came out within really good time and was absolutely delicious. My boyfriend was starving before we got there but the portion sizes were so great and we both left feeling pretty full. Will definitely be going back when we're next in Bristol!

A little over priced, slow service and alright food. I wouldn't recommend, unless, like us, you ended up here when everywhere else was full and it was pouring it down. Very average.

Just went to GBK in Cabot... I should have settled for biting my nails instead!

The burgers were nice enough, however the place was definitely understaffed. Dirty tables and condiment bottles, such as the ketchup vessels, were so grubby and sticky we had to use hand sanitising gel every time we required some sauce.

Our third visit to GBK. We love the sweet potato fries and baconnaise and whatever burger you choose it's sure to be delicious. There's a great option to have salad instead of a bap, and some of the drinks choices have free refills. The rhubarb and vanilla is especially refreshing. We were so full after our burgers we had no room for dessert. This is a relaxed place and great for families.

Very busy so a bit hit and miss with regards to getting a table particularly if there are a lot of you. No table service ordering means queuing in busy times. Really good burgers though with plenty of flavoursome options plus extras to make it your own design.

Después de pasar una hora tratando de decidir dónde comer, fuimos aquí y yo tuvimos una hamburguesa con queso y tocino para comer y fue perfecto. Ordenados los aros de cebolla y conseguimos mucho más de lo que esperaba, y fueron muy amables, incluso el strawberry and Elderflower bebida estaba muy bien pensado y sabroso con rodajas de limón y lima fresca. En general es un gran lugar para comer! Sin duda lo recomiendo.

Went in for a bite to eat and was pleasantly surprised although the menu was a bit limited and like all American type restaurants everything comes with cheese. Would certainly go again as the food was very tasty.

Served by lovely Maria! She was so friendly and helpful giving us great recommendations. I had the Habenero with grilled chicken, it was delicious! Food didn't take long, it looked and tasted amazing.

Y luego £4 para patatas fritas. Y un 5 libras por batido. No tengo prisa en volver, pero si me evitaría buena comida decente.

Fuimos a la GBK en Cribbs Causeway. Normalmente me encanta GBK. Aunque no este. Después de una espera de 45 minutos nuestra comida llegó. Una de las hamburguesas estaba fría como la patatas fritas. La sustitución hamburguesa era crudo! El reemplazo de sustitución hamburguesa era incomible. Uno de nuestro grupo había una hamburguesa de pollo, que también podía comer. Para ser justos, que se disculpó con gran profusión y reembolso toda la comida. Tipo de arruinó nuestra noche.

Gbk hamburguesas no podría ser mejor! Me decidí por esta visita a optar por la hamburguesa sin pan y ensalada en vez, muy agradable y para una gran alternativa. El personal era amable y servicial, aunque el restaurante estaba muy lleno todavía encontramos el tiempo para comprobar que tenía todo lo que necesitábamos.

An enjoyable meal with family. Although it was busy and felt a bit over crowded, the meal was thoroughly enjoyable and service was fast. Cannot fault the food!

Fuimos a la nueva GBK en Cribbs Causeway como he empezado a GBK.

Nos sentamos cerca de la ventana de la izquierda y después de poner un jumper extra que afortunadamente habíamos sido comercial y compramos. La puerta y el frío iba realmente se adueñaron del lugar. Mencionamos al personal tras notar varias personas sentado con sus abrigos y nos aseguraron la calefacción estaba en 23 grados. Debajo de la mesa estaba helada, nuestros pies eran como bloques de hielo, y no había mucha gente que le gusta estar duros.

Vinimos aquí este tiempo después seriamente descuidada y pobre en la otra rama de Bristol. Hamburguesas eran en forma de paquete de navidad y tenía queso y tocino. Aros de cebolla eran impresionantes. Mi caramelo salados fue corta shake cuando llegamos pero me dieron uno nuevo sin dudarlo. Personal de aquí parecen preocuparse mucho más de personal estudiante en otro lugar. Recomendado para parejas y familias en otro lugar de Bristol. Corta espera en la llegada, pero vale la pena.

Tarde un sábado y el lugar estaba bastante vacío, un lugar luminoso y funcional dentro del centro comercial. El menú es bastante básico, aunque las hamburguesas tienen una amplia variedad de carnes, etc. Hay bastantes opciones de comida, pero en general pasamos una hamburguesa con patatas fritas cada uno, lo que es cierto. Los batidos fueron un éxito con los niños, con helado y mi banana era muy bueno, batidos alrededor de £4. 5. Así que un lugar funcional, no especialmente atmosféricos o romántico, pero es práctico para el interior crazy golf a pocas puertas de distancia.

Esta fue nuestra segunda visita a cadena gbk y nuestro 1 calle a este particular. Cuando llegamos no estaba demasiado concurrido y una camarera amable vino a saludarnos y nos pidió que seleccionar nuestros asientos, que nos hicieron, y explicó el menú.

Soy un ventilador enorme de hamburguesas y las señoritas ama. em Es que no puedo conseguir suficiente de GBK es lo último de hamburguesas. He intentado muchas otras pero siempre vuelvo aquí. Cada hamburguesa en el menú es de calidad. Salsa de queso azul lados de satay y obligada. Totalmente yum

We visited here on 26th of september and and wished we had ordered off the lunch menu as it says if your food isn't served within a certain it's free. It appeared that if your not ordering of that menu then it's doesn't seem to bother them how long your food takes to be served we waited 45 minutes for food which is ridiculous especially when the restaurant wasn't busy. food wasn't particularly nice not much sauce in my burger and luke warm chips. No one asked how are food was until we had almost finished.

Nuestra primera visita a este establecimiento, aunque hemos comido en otros "Cocinas Gourmet" me esperaba el mismo buen servicio, no me decepcionó.

Fuimos para una comida el domingo por la noche. La camarera explicó que las hamburguesas estaban en oferta especial porque no había carne. Todo lo demás estaba disponible. Pedimos dos hamburguesas persas cordero. El chef dijo que están fuera de esos, tenemos hamburguesas de búfalo. No queríamos aquellos, así me fui a otro lugar. Que va de carne en un bar de hamburguesas?

Por un capricho que decidimos venir aquí en lugar de cocinar algo en casa. Tanto mi novio y yo estamos muy gratos de GBK especialmente su Oreo batidos que son divinos. Juntos pedimos una hamburguesa de carne con queso y bacon, y una hamburguesa de queso Camembert pollo y arándanos, que es mi favorito personal. Sin embargo, esta vez, me pidió la hamburguesa desnudos que conlleva el pago de un extra de 50 p que no tienen un pan y con un poco de col y algunas ensaladas o mazorcas de maíz. Todo era delicioso, sin embargo me siento 50 p para deshacerse de la pelea innecesaria y sentir como que debería ser gratis. Aparte de eso, fue una comida maravillosa con un servicio encantador!

Desde entonces intenté GBK ME ENCANTA! Mejor hamburguesa jamás! Vaya aquí para cualquier ocasión con amigos o una fecha.

Vine aquí por primera vez y me sorprendió gratamente. El servicio era genial, el personal es muy amable y la comida era deliciosa. Puedes decir que las hamburguesas son recién hechos y cocinados a la orden. La col es encantador y muy sabroso. La comida llegó rápidamente y nos ofrecieron agua para ir con nuestra comida, que llegó en un aspecto peculiar de jarra. Me gustó mucho la comida.

Estábamos buscando un bocado rápido para comer tarde en Cabot Circus y cometí el error de elegir GBK en vez de la de muchas otras opciones en la zona. Comida y bebidas (a menos que la opción rellenar) eran caros para lo que te dan. Encima de eso hay no fue completo servicio de camarero y un error cometido con mi factura. Aléjate!
