Have been several times for a takeaway (thats all they do) but have learned from experience. Often differeing outlets have a different view on spice hot and this is no exception. I always ask them to tone it down a bit when ordering which they do BUT need to be told. Not had a bad meal from here to be fair now we have the heat content right. there are some interesting meals on their menu. They do deliver but seem to only have one driver so you could be waiting an eternity. Card payment on line but only cash in shop. Parking outside is easy for pick up. Happy to recommend.

Used to love this place, curries were always tasty and delicious, good portion sizes. Recently changed management - been twice since, and both takeaways have been awful. Had x2 curry dishes last night and both were tasteless. The chicken pieces were tiny. Naan breads were so thick they just tasted like dough, no flavour at all. Onion Bahjees were 'dry' and had no flavour at all. Used to come here because they food was better the local award-winning competitor. This is no longer the case. Incredibly disappointing on top of the recent increase in prices, just under £10 a dish now. For mixed tikka starter, onion Bahjees, 2x curry dishes, rice and 2x naan bread comes to £40. I'm not prepared to pay this for the poor quality on two occasions again. Bye Ganesha.

Fabulous take away - we had lamb Naga and garlic chilli chicken with mushroom rice and naan. We could t fault it. The food was delivered late but was still very hot and tasty. We will recommend to others and order again.

Food ordered and paid online- easy transaction, quick delivery & food was tasty & most importantly hot! Friendly delivery driver. No issues, would recommend.

this is the last time I order from here as usual it was late but this time cold as well with the price hike, 35 quid for a meal for two is not viable anymore to top it off was hung up on when I rang to ask where the meal was

From the very first lockdown when Ganesha first opened up we starting having a takeaway most weekends the food was delicious and although a bit pricey at the time it was worth it. The prices have now gone up that when we had our meal this weekend it was another £10 in total so that was the last one we will have from there. I know prices have to go up but this was alot extra for just 2 of us having a meal imagine for bigger families.

We ordered a takeaway for 5 people on our way through Bodmin to take home for us and the kids. Should have heard the alarm bells when then said they only accept cash...Once we had paid, they told us it would be 30 to 35 minutes which so we went for a wander and returned. It wasn't ready. So we went away for another 15 minutes. Still not ready. In the end it was just over an hour. They apologised and said that just after we ordered a large order had come in - to which we responded that it shouldn't affect our order if it was after us! When we got home we found that we were missing a curry. Tried to call but no answer. The currys themselves sadly did not make up for the delays and lack of items. The chicken tikka masala was over sweet, the biryani rice was absurdly hot, the shatkora was tasteless other than the enormous chunks of shatkora which were inedible and the karahi was not like any karahi we've ever had before (and we have had a few!). Curiously there were whole Brussel sprouts in the biryani sauce which is a new one on me. The garlic naan were tough. About the only positive thing I can say about the experience is that the guy taking our order was very personable.

Genuinely think the normal staff must have had a night off when we tried it. Not only did we have to wait 2 hours for delivery (after being told an hour). But the food was absolutely disgusting. Big portions yes…..but it tasted like it was made by someone who has never eaten a curry, just seen a picture of one. Proper foul. Both our meals were of the same standard. Even the naan was very low quality. I’ve had better from a supermarket curry than here. We’ll stick to the Viraj in future.

We were visiting Bodmin and passed this restraunt by Chance and popped in to order.Our order was taken by Kanak who also happened to be the chef. He asked me about my diet requirements and did exactly how I wanted.Food was hot, delicious and generous portions.Prices are very reasonable .I would highly recommend Ganesh and would definitely order again.Indian Tarka Dal was the best I ever had

Great food. Good portions. Delivered on time. Will certainly use this again. 100% recommended on all counts.

All I can say is that the food -once u can get it - is good and tastey and big portions. I have ordered from them several times and not once have they been close to on time. Last night I placed an order for collection giving them 2 hrs notice with a pick up time for early evening. I then called then before I came to collect and was told it will be ready when I get there, this being 10min after the pick up time. I had to wait in store as only one person to serve who was more interested in answering the phone and taking orders than servicing. Only to be then told that they don’t do cards on pick up only cash and there is no way now that I can pay by card. This was IMFORMED to me by a person - assuming the manager - and I was prity much blamed for not knowing. There is no info anywhere that this is the case and was told we’ll get cash or go somewhere else - or at least this is what I was told. Needless to say I won’t be choosing them again since by the time I finally got my food this was now 30min later and it still wasn’t ready. Pitty the service is so appalling and food is never served on time.

When we had our first lockdown last year we started having meals from Ganesha and still continue to. We have not had a bad meal. Food is delicious great portions rice. They even put extra chilli on meal to make it hotter if you ask. Delivery service good.

We’ve ordered from here several times and each time the food has been outstanding. By far the best Indian food I’ve ever had. My only criticism is that the delivery time is always so slow, it’s always 30/40 minutes after the delivery time they advise.

Anyone who gives this place less than 5 stars must be insane. I have travelled quite a bit and tried numerous Indian restaurants and Ganesha is by far my favourite one. Every time I visit Bodmin I always place an order or two because it is genuinely amazing. Not only is the food to die for, but the staff have also always been impeccably nice and helpful. I cannot fault this takeaway.

Fantastic food, best take away I’ve had in many a year. Chicken was succulent and sauce lovely. Peshwari Nan was light and lovely.

I waited until we used this takeaway 3 times before reviewing, Can not fault the food quaity and portion size both absolutely amazing, If you order online you can pick a deilvery slot in advance and all 3 times it arrived within 10mins of choosen...

We ordered a chicken tikka, chicken madras and a garlic chilli chicken and were thoroughly impressed. Very tasty and the portion sizes were great, we had plenty left for the next day! Popodoms were great as was the naan. Easily one of the best Indians...

The food here is nice, I’ve had worse and I’ve had better. However, I find it very expensive. Especially the delivery charge. If the Viraj start a delivery service, this place will be in trouble!

Home delivery was quick service for a Saturday night. Large portions had 3 large onion bahjee for starters. Chicken special with garlic and chilli for mains. The pilau rice was large portion.
