Shocking experience we spent £40 all of the food , we ordered a mix doner and the chicken didn’t look nice it had slimy taste to it and the meat doner was ok , we also ordered chicken wings we couldn’t even bite in to the chicken wing that’s how hard it was , falafel was burnt and the manger said it was in the fryer for 4 mins I called and said to them the food wasn’t fresh or nice and he said there’s nothing I can do , totally appalling behaviour and food . Never going back there again what a waste of £40

Shocking experience. Ordered on Uber at lunch time. Order was delayed with no updates. Called store directly and was spoken to rude and aggressively. Can’t imagine what busy periods are like. In a time when businesses are struggling this one only has itself to blame.

Given the completely wrong order - items were missing, and the burger and the cheese bites we were given were not the ones we ordered. A refund was initially agreed yet now they are refusing to despite the order being wrong. Highly disappointed and wouldn’t order from here again.

Having recently moved to the Strood area I have been to this place a fair few times as convenient on way home from work... had a few different dishes and never had a problem.... Good size portions and value for what you pay, I thought... until tonight... the portion size appear to have more than HALVED.. The portion I got served was a fraction of what I usually get, I challenged it and all I got was a shrug of the shoulders and my food handed to me.. Not impressed and disappointed 😕

Food is okay but the people who own it don’t speak english and can’t take your order right. Be prepared to have missing food

One of the worst places to order food from the people there don't speak good english messed up order i told them 5 times what I wanted and they still got it wrong i ordered meat and chips for myself they filled the box up with chips and they only put a little bit of chicken meat I told them I wanted 5 things they only gave me 4 I called them up to tell and they started arguing with me without even knowing the mistake they did never going to this place again even if nothing else is available honestly you will be much better off going elsewhere or just eat at home

Food is not worth the money people there don't speak good english recommend going elsewhere

The people there do not speak good english customer service was terrible i asked i told them i wanted my salad in the kebab but they gave it to me separately in a box the salad included 2 tomato's slices 1 cucumber slice and a bunch of lettuce when I asked them i only wanted tomato and cucumber

food is always great but it always arrives late by bout 20-40 minutes food is still warm but wish it was on time

My recent visit to this takeaway left much to be desired. Both the doner kebab and chicken burger were disappointing; the kebab tasted stale and had a bloody taste while the burger was noticeably stale. Moreover, the owner's rudeness and noticeable odor were off-putting. Given these hygiene concerns, one can only imagine the food quality. Urgent intervention from food safety services seems warranted. DISGUSTING AND FILTHY

The owner had his hand in the front of his pants when I walked in. He then continued to handle my food without washing his hands. I didn’t pay and left. D I S G U S T I N G

Had a take away from this place. I asked for a chicken kebab with salad and what I got was clearly left over burnt scraps. Absolutely disgusting. What a waste of money. My partner asked for a donar and chips and the chips were covered in burger sauce and had been squeezed into the take away box with the meat, it actually came out in one lump. Completely devastated. Will NEVER order from this place again.

They sell old smelly chicken, recooked chips, the service and hygiene is very poor. I do not recommend

Ordered a takeaway tonight for the family, arrived within the time slot I was given, arrived hot & food was amazing!! 10/10 will definitely be ordering again!!

Took over an hour on a Wednesday night, Food wasn’t right, no chilli sauce when requested, chicken was over cooked, the doner meat had a funny smell . All round dreadful will not be returning

There are a lot of negative reviews, but in my opinion I think the food is great. (Fried chicken range) it's x5 better than that KFC. Although I don't eat kebabs from there, which is no fault of their own, I just have another place I've been going to for years for my kebabs so can't review them - The fried chicken bundles however are spectacular. Gravy isn't great, bit watery. That's my only snag. They deliver, take card but prefer cash. I like it. The meal in the pic came with a drink and cost £9.99 (excluding the 4 chilli cheese bites)

First experience of using this kebab shop. Never again! Order wrong. Rude response to my call. Only saving was the delivery driver was lovely and returned to refund me. Beans on toast was my dinner thanks to Friendsbury Grill. Wouldn’t recommend OR use again!

Place is shocking- first time I’ve ever oversee food turns up 35 mins late- didn’t even want to look at the food rejected at the door- asked just eat for full refund reported the attitude on the phone to them aswell. Won’t be using ever again wish I didn’t try using. I’ll return the favour lads dw 😉

Ordered for the first time tonight. They gave us a free box of fried chicken, I'm guessing since we ordered so late at night and they had leftovers. Whatever the reason that's 10/10 on the customer service front! The kebab was great, good portion and flavorsome, particularly the chicken doner. New favourite kebab shop!

I was expecting this to be a mediocre place but the food was actually really good, I ordered over the phone and was able to pay at my front door with my card. Would definitely order again 👍🏿

I love their food BUT..... Their prices are ridiculous.. no one wants to spend £10.90 on a lamb donner and chips. Come on guys you keep these prices up your going to go bankrupt, think what your doing here!!!!

Worst takeaway I’ve ever had. Wouldn’t of even given it to a dog. Kofte was burnt and dry the lamb was the same. Only good thing was the chicken doner. Would give a 0 if I could

I ordered a mixed meat kebab but it was just lamb. The sauce was all over the chips, it should have been in a pot. The chips were cold and the cheese not melted! They took the tip even though I cancelled the tip payment in the order! Shame as it’s quite local to us and would have used quite often if it had been right!

The staff are extremely helpful and kind. We ordered through Deliveroo and they never showed up, with our order. When we called Frindsbury grill, they tried to resolve the issue with Deliveroo and when they were unable to do this. They were kind enough to send our order back out to us, free of charge. I would definitely order again and recommend to anyone.

Used 2 times now and food fantastic on both occasions. Fast delivery too. Now for the bad. 1 kebab turned up wrong, I rang straight away and a replacement was with us very quickly. So I have no problem recommending you Use them. Al in all 1st class 👏

Really great communication and customer service after I enquired about a delay of my order. There was a fault in their system which can happen so not angry at all. They actually did call the driver (which most take always don’t do) and we’re super apologetic. Even added a free 1L bottle of Fanta. Driver was also very sorry but their food had always been super tasty so I’m very happy with them despite the delay. :-)

Ordered a large kebab got home box full of Salad and barely enough meat to qualify as a small kebab, the pitta bread looked like a roll of somekind?? hugely disappointed with my meal also when paying I was offered 10% discount to pay cash, I think this is called tax evasion !! Tut tut

We ordered two chicken shish wraps that were full of salad and had hardly any chicken. The price was around £19 including delivery which was a joke for the quality of the wraps. I phoned and spoke to the manager who was very rude and said if we don't like it don't order from us again and hung up. We have ordered from Frindburys Grill before so was upsetting to be spoken to like that. I definitely will not be ordering again. If the manager was kinder and more understanding I would have refrained from sharing this review. Hopefully he will learn some manners!

It’s actually a zero rating from me. Ordered a kebab for delivery never turned up. Reordered had to go pick it up to get it home and it was disgusting and no pitta and seriously overcharged. I took it back very politely told them and was then abused by the owner. Disgusting

Never going there again. Totally dishonest owners, asked for a Mixed Doner Kebab. Got home and they had only given me a Lamb Doner and charged me for a mixed Doner. Bunch of thieves !!!

Ordered at 7.15pm ? Still waiting at 8.45pm, called them and sternly told it’s on its way!!! Not great when got family around for a casual meal!!! Will not use again

Food is very good but the portions have reduced so much that I doubt I will be using again. When you're spending almost £10 on a large kebab, you deserve to get what you pay for and not some thing worth £5...

Ordered a large kebab and chips came to £16 and it was the smallest 'large' kebab I'd ever seen !!! Absolute bloody rip off, wasnt even nice, asked for chillies and didn't get them, will never use again,,, avoid !!!!

Definately the worst mixed grill kebab Ive ever had. The meat was chewy, no onions or mushrooms and the doner looked and tasted raw!!!!! .... The garlic sauce was just putrid and definately the worst ever from a kebab shop!!!!!! Avoid its disgusting and a total waste of money!!

Had a kebab from here this evening never felt so ill after a kebab all I’ve done is throw up meat was absolutely disgusting. Salad tasted rotten so didn’t eat that. The staff are not organised one bit. The fella on the till nearly overcharged me but luckily I’m good with my math and had to wait around 40 minutes.

Chicken donner meat and chips was not very nice. Chips where well over cooked and the chicken donner did not taste nice. Will not use again sadly

Well I’ve tried to give this place the being it of the doubt but on the three occasions I attend it’s always the same. Firstly they just don’t even bother acknowledging you. Once ordered they take forever to actually bother starting to cook your choice. Attending to order is not a priority. Those ordering online get first choice Also burnt lamb and chicken!! Don’t bother with this place they don’t care.

I usually order from here and the food is good but last night we ordered doner wrap, doner kebab, and chicken shish kebab. Doner meat was cold and burnt tasted stale. Chicken shish cooked to perfection the person really enjoyed that. Unfortuanlty the doner meat eaters myself and a friend have woken up this morning with terrible belly ache and the pops. For this reason I wont use again. Unless quality of doner meat changes

First time we got food here it was great second time hum drum and third time said 60mins and took nearly two half hours gonna lay on my stomach and probably keep me up all night great I should have just cooked something what a waste of money never again and it was wrong aswel and 3 good clear outs the next day.

I live just up the road from these guys, they're a friendly bunch and do great chicken donners!

Just had a special grill our first visit and it was amazing. Really could have fed 3 hungry people. Nice grilled meat nice fresh salad and service with a smile 😊

order 2 kofte kebabs my son went an picked them up when he come back we started 2eat them the meat was raw inside and have no flavour I actually feel sick. worse kebab I've ever had.wont eat from here again.

We ordered through Just Eat and our food was on our doorstep within 30 minutes and earlier than they had stated. The food was good and the portion sizes were large. We will order from here again!

Great shop with excellent food and one of the best chilli sauce you will have at a kebab shop. Staff are always good to you.

My family and I have regularly used this establishment, they are unfortunately very inconsistent. (Portion sizes, quality, prices) I really enjoy their Chicken doner meat. Usually ordering a large chicken doner kebab, chilli sauce, garlic sauce, all salad and chillis. My father ordered a mixed doner last time we placed an order. Costing less then my own ‘regular’ order. Having a much bigger portion in meat, salad and sauce. The price would be fair in this case if the portions reflected this. Unfortunately the portion was very small for a price of £7.00-£.8.00, came with very little chicken, sauce and salad in a large order box you would usaully receive full. And one chilli. I say this is inconsistent as I could order one day, like the one previously stated with one chilli and on a different day and they would give me ‘too much’ chilli’s 20+. Not that I’m complaining. It’s a shame ‘cause I really enjoy their food. It’s just not worth the price they are asking, not fofilling hunger wise when you order a larger portion like myself. We have stopped using them for this purpose.

Useless. Got ignored at the counter staff member looked over my shoulder and asked guy behind what he wants (we were only customers). Asked for a chicken kebab n 2 miles later indoors opened a lamb doner so phoned up n he said I’m lying. Guy needs to wake up.

Awful. Ordered chicken donor. Dripping in grease and meat not sliced just small bits of meat looks like dog food. Doesn't taste like chicken weird texture tasted odd. one mouthful and went straight in the bin. The worst kebab I've ever eaten AVOID.

Only one Star as so I can put a review on this so called takeaway service. Never been there before until today we fancied a Kebab, Cut to the chase on this one So the woman from behind counter helps herself to chips, Turns over my pitta bread, Goes to the back does her hair answers the phone, The man then PUTS THE CHIPS BACK IN THE FRYER AFTER SHE HAS HELPED HERSELF!!!. Absolutely Could not believe it STAY AWAY unless you want to catch something!!!

First time ordering through Hungry house. We can honestly say it was the best we tasted, and we are very fussy eaters. Highly recommended.
