The Freemasons has great vibes. We had a lovely lunch, served by great staff. Everything was spot on! I'll always go back to the Freemasons.

My daughters arranged a surprise party/get together last weekend with loads of family and friends at the Freemasons Arms. What a fantastic afternoon/evening . The staff were amazing, happy and friendly the whole time . The buffet was fantastic, plenty of choice and plenty of good for everyone. Hayley has great staff, they are incredibly hard working and friendly and you hardly ever have to wait for a drink . I would recommend the Freemasons to anyone .

Wow what a great home cooked roast, fluffy potatoes well cooked meat, value for money will definitely be returning, the only downfall was 4 rowdy guys throwing beer over each other and swearing near the childrens play area

We had a lamb roast and a Turkey roast. Was delicious and we both cleared our plates! Generous servings. The staff were polite and the beer garden is a great size! Will definitely go back!

12 of us visited The Freemasons for Sunday lunch, we had been walking and booked the pub for after our walk. Greeted warmly and the lovely staff took our drinks and food orders. Food arrived hot and tasty 😋 Food always good at The Freemasons.

You need to know how to cook pie n mash before making it a regular thing. Crust dark and crispy, soft base. Potato and liquor hot preferably!

Absolutely lovely dining experience. Food is good, have eaten here quite a few times over the last few weeks. The staff are very friendly , polite and efficient too. My husband and I are staying in the area temporarily and are happy to have found this cute pub. I really enjoyed the homemade chicken curry . The Sunday roast is good too. Like the other review mentions, it’s well organized with condiments on the table and food served in a timely manner. Nice glass of red wine malbec .

Monday nights are our best nights... steak night... food is very highly recommended.. compliments to the chef ... desserts are soooo good too.... try the pie and Mash on a friday have been told very good ... well done to Hayley and her staff

Sunday Lunch. Good booking service prior to my actual arrival. Booked inside table as I have come to detest food to be too well travelled and being delivered into any garden/outside area as I could be potentially be delivered cold food in my experience. However, this was not a problem in this instance, as heated plates were provided with correct food ordered , and the inside table reserved for me had my Christian name on the table, and was immediately identifiable! Good service and our Sunday lunch was delivered to the table within 15 mins upon my arrival at 1pm on Sunday. Salt and pepper were on already on the table, as were knives and forks/ napkins, upon arrival, although white pepper only, and I actually prefer freshly ground pepper as my own personal preference. A pepper grinder may have been possibly available but I failed to ever enquire. The mint sauce and horse radish sauce were delivered to the table immediately , upon our request and upon ordering. My brother had ordered a lamb sunday lunch; myself a Roast beef sunday lunch with a side order of cauliflower cheese for us both to share. Realistic Assessment of Both Sunday lunches. ( 1x lamb, 1 x beef ) Meat good. Impressed that both sunday lunches had yorkshire puddings. Further impressed that the stuffing balls included on both lunches included sausage meat making them very acceptable to us both. Vegetables good but sadly no fresh roasted potatoes. Gravy was somewhat over watery, lacking any substance/ flavour/ or remarkable taste/ contribution to any sunday lunch. The cauliflower and cheese sauce, (good value) , served piping hot needed grated mature cheddar on the top to improve its taste. All that stated, for the price and service , A respectable 4 out of 5 is most deserved. Recommended by both my brother and myself. I would like to have paid more if freshly prepared, roasted potatoes could be delivered with an improvement on the gravy.

The pub/restaurant was a lovely find... we had never been before.. the bar staff were friendly and accommodating. My wife's meal which was scampi wasn't cooked through and peas were past their time. The elderly cook corrected it but just reheated/fried it. Lovely pub, great atmosphere shame about the cook.

We had a family celebration here. Everyone enjoyed their meals no complaints, The staff here were so pleasant and the food was very good value !!! We will definitely be back for more ! 😊

We had a lovely roast here in this lively little pub. The roast potatoes were the star of the show . It was very busy so we were offered the bar area which was more than adequate. We didn't wait long and was served with a smile . they did my favourite flavoured Gin so I was a very happy diner. All at a reasonable price too .

visited today ,service ok ,food really not good . fish was yellow and tasted dreadful chips over cooked processed dry . very expensive for something i couldhave placed in the oven mysef

Came for lunch, took too long to come out was empty in the place couldn't understand why... chips over done looked like out meals has been catapulted on a plate.

Cosy friendly pub, food is very good but make sure when booking, that you get a reservation for the restaurant and not out in the pub area, as it is very noisy and cramped, we were hemmed in on all sides and could hardly hear ourselves speak, actually our ears were hurting when we left

Parked up in Snodland on a very hot summers day and needed some food and a cold drink the nearest place was a 2 mile walk according to google maps but found this place 5minutes away what a lovely place nice and clean great big beer garden and cold beer and good food met some of the locals and they were very nice and welcoming would recommend it to anyone and will be back

Not a nice pub. Went here after a friend recommended but I wish I hadn’t. Horrible worn out furnishings, the bar staff and locals were rude and inappropriate and made us feel uncomfortable by making comments when we walked in. Food was something a 10 year old could put into the oven and serve. Frozen chips and scampi with cheap garden peas with no flavour. Honestly... the other reviews must have been written by people with seriously low standards of pubs. Shame.

Fantastic pub with outstanding food and excellent choices available with fresh veg and wholesome home cooked food. Bar staff were amazingly helpful and John and Christine exceeded our expectations regarding dietary needs as my sister is glucose and lactose intolerance. What a great country pub. The food is reasonably priced and tastes great. John the chef is good at what he does and brings some great Comedy to all that dine and drink. Can not wait until my next visit, with a bigger crowd I think!!!

Paid a visit to this pub this evening for a pint and something to eat.

Visited here on 6/5/18. For a birthday meal, first time coming here as heard quite good reviews. Booked a table which then had to wait 20 minutes for it, the lady on the bar who served us drinks and took food order was very abrupt and arrogant. Food came out was average pub grub wouldn’t rate it, we then went on to order desserts and a lovely lady in a flowery dress had taken our order was just about to take payment when an extremely rude lady in a black dress came out and said “kitchen is closed” no sorry or anything just “kitchen is closed” she had no customer service skills what so ever, we’ll infact the mojority of that place didn’t! My husband then went up to point out that the kitchen is meant to be open till 7pm he was then rudely explained that it was closed blah blah. We was getting ready to leave when a nice guy came over and explained about the staff and was very apologetic but to be honest you need a good team to run a good service and what you had there was like monkeys in a circus who looked like they was off on a night out. Terrible service won’t be visiting again!

Went in this week. A couple of guys seated at bar swearing quite a bit. Must have thought it made them look good. Landlady was on duty at the time. Did nothing about it. Not a family friendly pub. Needs to be run better

I stopped by tonight fora drink thought I would get a bite to eat the pub looked nice there was a lot of people in the beer garden lots of cars in the car park I had a shandy and got the jacket spud with tuna and mayo the only thing about it was a shame that they had done the spud in the microwave and burt it wish was a shame I will come back in a months time to see how it is next visit as I can only do one review per month on a pub but will come back here to the next visit the place was very clean and tidy the loos was spotless very friendly and helpful bar staff polite love mr cheeky in Kent

En un par de veces después de un paseo alrededor de los lagos. Leybourne Encantador y acogedor pub, con un enorme jardín en la parte trasera para cuando el clima más agradable. Hay dos partes separadas, el bar y el restaurante, ambos son compactas pero agradable.

Ci siamo capitati per caso, con qualche dubbio perché posto dietro la stazione di servizio SHELL e per il motto esibito (coerente con il nome) "AUDI VIDE TACI". Ci è stato consigliato dall'addetta al distributore di benzina e avevamo fretta di mangiare prima della partenza. E' stato un vero peccato arrivarci all'ultimo giorno, visto che era veramente dietro casa. Atmosfera tipica dei pub con ottima birra. Abbiamo preso il pranzo a 12 sterline con portate doppie (si mangia abbondantemente in due ad un prezzo senza eguali). La qualità del cibo ottima con piatti della tradizione locale. Personale gentilissimo e premuroso. Parcheggio e parco giochi per i bambini all'aperto (pioggia permettendo).

I recently visited the Freemasons with a large walking group. We had a friendly welcome and basically took over the pub, it was planned!!Beer was good, plenty of choice and the food was very nice. It was certainly somewhere that I would return to in the future for a more relaxed meal.

Had Lunch with friends. Very pleasant serving staff and basic but good honest Pub fare.Also very good value. Would visit again.

Always good for a roast if you don't feel like cooking, only thing I would advise is getting there early if you want your spuds nice and fresh. There is a nice separate restaurant area, or you can sit in the bar area where there are several tv's.

Good food and staff friendly been there a few times now and taken our dogs which means we can have drink on our walk...

Only pub I know that does a decent roast dinner that doesn't come with frozen veg. The food is amazing quality but pub prices. Really nice. Kitchen staff are really lovely too. Barman can come across as a little stressed sometimes. Generally though a great place for Sunday lunch or family get together.

Been to this pub quite a few times now, service and food has always been very good. Standard bar food plus a wide selection of daily specialty meals and puddings.Opens from midday onwards and can get crowded at peak times. Nice outside grass area with playground for kids, good parking aswell.

The food is amazing be going back ....the staff are amazing... good place to bring your family as have a kids play park in the garden so on a sunny day sitting outside eating and drinking while the kids play...my kids loved it will be going back .....

We went there for lunch after having read the previous reviews, I can only assume that they were made by family and friends as the food was dreadful. I tried the Cajun chicken and it was a small piece of chicken totally dried out, the chips were plentiful but not very tasty. Very dissappointed in the whole experience and I certainly won't return.

Been here twice now, mid week lunch and Saturday lunch. Range and quality of food is good, selection of deserts very good. The bar is well stocked. The atmosphere is mid range, it does not feel like a "local only" pub nor is it particularly welcoming.I will be happy to go back in the future.

We live very near here and I've only just tried the food, which is a shame as its really quite good. We've now tried mid week in the evening, Sunday lunch and a Friday lunch and can honestly say it's really good pub food. Portions are quite large and the variety is good. It's not an a la carte restaurant it's a pub but a good value for money place to eat.

Varied Menu with lots of choices. The deal is two main meals for £12 at Lunchtime and eveningservice. Very generous portions. Vegetables generally are fresh and the pies are home made.Can recommend the Liver & Bacon and also the Ham, Egg & Chips! Desserts are a bit different with Oreo cheesecake - Lovely. There is also Al la carte and specials including Steak, Curry and Pasta dishes.
