Frankie & Benny's New York Italian Restaurant & Bar - Oxford in South Oxfordshire

Vinimos aquí para cenar después del golf cubierto. Es bastante terrible ser honesto. No hay mucha gente cenando allí, pero el servicio era lento. Se habían quedado sin pan de ajo lo que parecía ridículo. Claramente hacen un comercio rugiente en deliveryoo etc, así que no estoy seguro de si eso tiene un impacto en los niveles de existencias. Los pudines de los niños eran risibles - diminutos. El brownie era literalmente 2 bocados pequeños y la supuesta olla de fruta que acompaña al helado era literalmente 2 cortadores de una fresa y 2 pequeños trozos de piña. Comida mediocre y cara. No volverá.

Visitamos antes de ver Oxford jugó al fútbol y tuvimos una gran experiencia. Como era de esperar, estaba super ocupado cuando entramos, sin embargo, tenían un gran sistema de organización de las personas que estaban esperando su mesa. Habíamos reservado una mesa y se nos mostró después de una espera de cinco minutos. La camarera vino después de un par de minutos para tomar nuestra orden y era muy amable - de hecho, todos los miembros del personal eran. Ninguno de ellos parece estresado debido a la ocupación. Nuestras bebidas llegaron después de un par de minutos y nuestra comida no mucho después - mi marido tenía la hamburguesa de pollo (que dijo que era delicioso) y yo tenía la hamburguesa de remolacha y frijol que era muy agradable. Quedamos tan impresionados con lo organizado que estaba el personal y el restaurante en un día tan ocupado. La comida era muy bueno también!

Sólida opción para comida sabrosa y llena. Buen servicio, y genial para llevar también. Útil antes o después de una película en Vue.

Una experiencia horrible. Éramos 1 de 3 mesas en el restaurante. Esperábamos 5 minutos para estar sentados. Tardamos casi 30 minutos en conseguir nuestra comida donde se veía que estaba listo en la cocina y la camarera seguía mirándolo pero no llevándolo a la mesa. la calidad de la comida era pobre definitivamente no vale la pena el precio. nunca volvería

They were quite under-staffed but they were quite quick with the drinks. Seemed quite friendly. Kevin looked after us well.

I am full of admiration for the team here. They have their 'match day' protocol down to a fine art. Limited menu but including a good variety meant food was served quickly and with a smile. 'The Boss' (according to his shirt) marshalled things efficiently and our server who I think was called Poppy was well organised helpful and charming. We didn.t feel rushed but were certainly aware how busy it was. Definite need to book on match days. Oh and by the way the food was great. I love their meatballs and enjoyed my very moist brownie. My wife enjoyed her ribs and was happy that they do a half rack

Appalling behaviour by members of staff. Taking plates away from your table when you are still eating the meal of that plate. Issuing the bill as soon as plates were removed and not moving away from the table until the bill was payed. Would I recommend this place when you're visiting the leisure park? Absolutely no way!

Amazing service by Kevin, and the food was amazing will be sure to recommend to our friends , cleanliness was up to the mark .

Sono stata in vacanza ad Oxford e mi è subito saltato all’occhio questo ristorante d’avanti allo stadio, abbiamo deciso di provarlo, scelta più che giusta, cibi davvero deliziosi e fatti alla perfezione, personale davvero cordiale e gentile, per non parlare di Coco che è davvero emozionante averlo come cameriere☺️ Se siete nei dintorni non perdetevelo 😌

One of the worst meals I have had. We visited before Oxford United game. Granted it was very busy, but it is no excuse for poor food.

Came here recently for a meal, we have a tastecard so use this in Frankie and Benny’s, food was good and typical Frankie and Benny’s, we would return

We visited one evening and found that the staff were very friendly and the food was all pretty good.

The burger was good but the rest was pretty poor we all say the same so there must be some truth in it

On Thursday 8th October a friend and I eat at Franky & Bennie’s at the Vue cinema in Oxford.I was served, and tried to swallow, the toughest steak I have ever eaten. It was so tough that a lump stuck in my throat and I was five seconds away from needing a Heimlich manouvre, luckily I ‘vomited up’ the lump of gristle.The waiter, a charming young man, asked us how we found our meals and I told him exactly what happened. He said (and I quote) “The chef usually overcooks the steaks and they are not a problem”. There was no apology or offer of a second steak. I told him I would certainly never eat in your chain again.So this gives rise to two issues. One, you are serving virtually inedible meals and two your staff customer service training leaves something to be desired!I won’t wish you good luck in the future and I am posting this letter on Tripadvisor as a warning to future customers.Yours.
