Great experience as always. Seen instantly and greeted with a smile. Lovely ladies Holly and Elisha knowledgeable and cortious, advice ❤️ on food and existing offers just makes it so much easier and pleasure to visit this Restaurant. Very highly recommend 👌

When I visit family in Kent, we always make a point of a meal at Frankie and Benny's. We came on Saturday 2nd November and I think that will be our last visit. The children's menu has changed so one of our children had to have an adult meal. All three adult meals were skimpy, cold and unappetising. Staff were dull and uninterested. Whatever happened to the warm buzzy, busy American dinner vibe. Very poor

Food tastes good. freshly prepared. Hot. Competitively priced. Staff lovely. Our server Julie very sociable, helpful and efficient and deserving of every penny of the tip we left. Elisha so very hands on and approachable. Highly recommended.

Booked a table for this evening to celebrate our Sons 5th Birthday. Arrived for our table booking at 5pm. 1 member of our party had already arrived so we made our way to the table to meet him. Menus were provided but no offer of a drinks order being taken. I realised that we had not been given a children’s menu and tried to get the attention of a couple of members of staff to ask for one, but was either avoided or ignored on each occasion. There appeared to be only 1 waitress but there was a young man seating people and 2 members of staff making drinks at the bar area. We sat at the table for 20 minutes with still no offer of a drink and staff extremely difficult to get the attention of. At one point my father in law politely called out to a member of staff passing our table but was again completely ignored. My husband then did manage to get the attention of a member of staff who came to the table, he immediately gave the impression of having a seriously bad attitude but I politely asked for a children’s menu, I was given no verbal response at all, but instead the member of staff stomped off, I assume, to find a children’s menu, there obviously wasn’t one at front of house where he went to look first, so he had to then retrace his steps back past our table (still no communication) to go towards the kitchen to get one. He came back to the table and again, without speaking, put the menu on the table and walked off. It was at this point my husband decided to question and challenge his poor behaviour stating that we had been waiting for well over 20 minutes and had not yet been spoken to by anyone or even offered so much as a drink. The member of staff became immediately hostile, stating that we had arrived for our booking late (this was absolutely untrue!) and then simply said to us “bye!” And walked off…..at this point we decided to leave the restaurant as we were under the distinct impression that we would not be receiving any further “service” A very unpleasant and disappointing experience, especially as this was for a 5 year olds birthday! Disgusting service and behaviour from the member of staff in question, I am only sorry I did not get his name. I have never known anything like it quite frankly.

Excellent service. Reece was waiting tables alone most of the time but did a fantastic job. Highly attentive and made sure everyone was happy. Very professional. Food was great too.

Holly served us and was really lovely and helpful she gave recommendations which helped on the menu and asked if we wanted more drinks etc excellent would come again :)

I brought my brother here for his Birthday and they did not disappoint. The service was exceptional and our server was really helpful and patient answering all our questions and being super helpful with food recommendations. The food was also really tasty and my steak was cooked perfectly. All around a pleasant experience and thanks to the staff for a great time.

Came here with my family and was totally disappointed. The meat was completely rotten. We notified the manager and returned the meal, but all she did was refund the cost of the meat and return the rest of the food. This was very disappointing, as there's a possibility the contaminated meat could have affected the rest of the meal. I actually feel nauseous right now.

Restaurant refused to serve from a menu supplied on arrival that should have been valid from noon with no mention on it of an expiry time. Told it ceased at 5 pm. Did not say anywhere on menu though. So had to use main, more expensive menu and what we wanted was not available. So had second and third choices.

Enjoyed a meal with my teenage son before the cinema. It was a really warm day, no windows open, no air con. It was reasonable in price and tasted ok. Helped ourselves to cutlery from the caddy on the table and pulled out dirty cutlery. Really turned my stomach and made me question the cleanliness of the rest of the restaurant. Restaurant lacked atmosphere. Wouldn't return.

Our waitress Julie, gave exceptional service despite being on the floor on her own. Nothing was too much trouble for her. You wouldn't really notice that she was the only staff member on the floor as you never wanted for anything. She was so attentive. I wish all customer interactions could be with someone like Julie. Oh, and the food was great too!! Definitely will come back

Food was cooked, staff were attentive and everything arrived quickly Kids meal was from the small plate option and would easily feed an adult!

Came in for dinner this evening, was served by Holly, she was attentive & friendly. Food was lovely and we will definitely be back, brilliant experience.

The food was warm at best. Some of the order was missing. also had a order that was not ordered.. mentioned to the driver that I had some of my order missing. was told to complain on the app.. This womt help me get what I ordered. I personally want my money back.

Chose F&B today before visiting the cinema. Freya did a great job. she was friendly and efficient. We were welcomed immediately and seated promptly. Freya our waitress checked in with us at the right moment to get our drinks order; and was professional, friendly and efficient. She was clearly handling a lot of tables but didn't rush and took time to properly engage with us. Food tasted great. All in all, the kind of experience that's hard to come by these days. Thoroughly enjoyed it. Freya rounded off by being available for the desserts order (although we passed on the desserts and went for drinks instead) and delivered the bill when we were ready. Would recommend - lots of families with children of all ages and they were all clearly having a great time without the stresses you sometimes see parents going through when the service is slow or the food isn't good. Perfect pre or post cinema eating experience.

Clearly very busy but our server made sure we have everything we needed. Food was great, small wait but we were made aware of that and were totally fine. Cocktails also very lovely! Will definitely come back :)

The food was good and service average. There was an offer on kids eat free with a adults menu, there was 2 adults so should be 2 free kids meals, this wasn't so when we received the bill. Apparently if you ordered off the seasonal menu kids weren't included. Despite the meal costing the same as the standard menu. I said you could see yep kids and two adults at the table, why didn't you make us aware. It's dishonest not to make us aware of that. Anyway they wouldn't honour it, which is very disappointing and it dishonest not to make the customers aware. We would have closen differently off the menu. Sadly turned the experience into a negative one

I'd like to first explain that this wasn't our intended eatery as Harvester Ashford closed without without notification. We arrived and was met by the manager. She was pleasant and happy. We were taken to a table and we met our less than happy server. I'm assuming she was having a bad day on top of losing her phone and forgetting to buy a lottery ticket and her numbers were drawn. I think you get the idea. For the purpose of this review we'll call her "happy" . She came to the table and asked for our drink order. One drink was a still water and a slice of lemon. We ordered food, comprising of one meal being Mediterranean grains salad. Happy responded with "we are not making that!" Not a sorry to be heard even in the distance. We thought that a reason would be forthcoming, unfortunately any explanation was as present as anything resembling Italian food in this establishment . So when we asked "Why?" We were told "We have no grains!" in the same way a drill Sargent asks a new recruit to tidy his kit. I'm sure you get the idea again. We were later told by the manager that this was incorrect information. We ordered something different. The drinks arrived. Unfortunately the still water with lemon was lacking a key ingredient and it wasn't water. I understand that a drink of this nature can be considered tricky to assemble due the the large amount of ingredients. I pointed out the missing ingredient by saying, could we possibly have a slice of lemon, to be told "I'll look in a while but I doubt we have any." this was also incorrect again clarified by the manager. The fugitive lemon never arrived at our table leaving the still water lonely and disappointed. The food arrived. That's about all I can say. Bland, warm but edible. Nothing extraordinary but it won't make you unwell either. (hopefully). Time to pay the bill. I was given the receipt and asked by "Happy" how I wished to pay. I elected card payment as who carries cash anymore? Well actually I do as I'm a certain age, but I digress. I asked for my card receipt and "happy" left. Only to return around a minute later to ask me to pay again. I must have one of those faces. Upon checking, My two receipts were showing two different amounts. My card had an added gratuity charged. As I paid with my phone, and never touched the card machine, this means someone else must have chosen a gratuity and the confirmed this extra payment. Can anyone guess the only other person to touch the card machine? This is unfortunately fraud. One last point, we were charged £1 for a spoonful of BBQ sauce. Heinz ketchup and Frenchies Mustard are free. I will be calling customer services tomorrow. Just for information, the elusive grains were later spotted at another table accompanying salmon. Those grains really do get around.

Brought my daughter and a few friends here yesterday for her birthday. Hollie the waitress was fantastic, really engaging with the kids and very informative! Food was hot and well presented. But it was definitely the staff that made it a good experience, so Thank you!

Wonderful service by Sally despite how busy the restaurant was and the food was really good. Came out hot, fries were crispy, life is good 👍🏻 Been to many a Frankie & Benny’s franchises but this one is always spot on.

Last minute decision to stop (came straight from the tunnel). Haven’t been to a F&B for years, but it was great. The food options were varied and the restaurant was clean and tidy, with a great atmosphere. Despite it being a late in service table - Sally was super attentive and got us everything we needed. Very quite, but calm and mellow. Sally are server was very happy and brought a good vibe to our experience. Was very tentative and couldn't help us enough!! Very chatty and gave plenty of time to choose what we want to order, coming back and forward a few times. Food was held back while I slowly ate my starter which was much appreciated, thank you Sally. Look forward to returning.

It was pretty clear that they were under staffed when we arrived and our food did take a while to, but overall the experience was good. The food was nice when it arrived and the lady who was looking after us was really friendly and apologetic for the wait. While we were waiting we could see that she was on her own with a lot of other tables, behind the bar and even saw her helping out in the kitchen. Credit to her, it was very impressive.

Waited hour and a half for food 😔. ordered a drink waited 20 minutes to not even get the drink same thing happened with the girls behind us😤. 2 waiters and 2 chefs ridiculous. Wasn't even told they had short staff could off gone somewhere else. Very disappointed not going again.
