waiting staff over stretched but polite . Salad was nice despite waiting over 40 minutes for them to arrive at the table. The afters took over 20 mins to arrive and was cold apple and blue berry pie and custard was ambient temp and tasted out of date. the pancakes arrived cold and with limited ingredients. got the bill reduced but will avoid in the future. Was told the staff was relatively new, manager was occupied with other complaints from patrons so we paid and left an unhappy restaurant.

Food tastes good. freshly prepared. Hot. Competitively priced. Dave our server attentive and on the ball. Overall a pleasant experience.

Went in for dinner about 5pm on a Friday. Was very quiet, shown to a seat quickly ( thankfully not one of the torn ones), and placed our order fairly quickly of a garlic bread starter, burger and lasagne and a milk shake each. The milkshakes came out quickly but were quite small for the price paid and were basic. The starter took a lot longer to come out than expected and was fine. Again a long wait for main meals and could have made better at home, the burger was the plainest I have seen in a restaurant and the lasagne again nothing special. Thankfully we received a discount for having cinema tickets but way too expensive for the food and service received. Will not make a repeat visit.

This is the worst restaurant of a chain I’ve seen. The food took over an hour to come out. For them it to literally come out cold. The pasta carbonara I had was bland and honestly cold as anything. My friend also had pasta that was cold. After around 30 mins of being given the food, the waiter finally came and asked if everything was ok. I then told them this, they then asked a manager. The manger took money off, around £17 which covered somewhat of what was spent. I mean, it was literally cold, I paid for a cold carbonara that I ate two spoonfuls of. I also got told due to the fact that most of the carbonara was gone they couldn’t give more money off. What two spoonfuls. This is the WORST F&B I’ve been to. WILL NEVER GO HERE AGAIN AND I SUGGEST YOU DONT.

I dropped off my daughter and her two giggly friends and the waitress was fab and made sure they all had a brilliant time. The cookie jar dessert to share was a hit!

Amazing service, friendly and met our needs. Came for a first birthday celebration and they surprised us with a candle in a desert. Food was good, however was disappointed with the loaded fries.

Delivery time said 35-50 mins was 1 hour 15 mins. Food arrived freezing cold, I heated it in the microwave for 1 min but wouldn’t have made a difference because the bun was greasy and the burger was hard, dry and tasteless. The cheese was greasy where I had to heat it up. The fries went soggy after I heated them too. Just eat app only offers £5 odd refund and it cost me over £22 so not happy.

Hadn’t been for years and it’ll be a regular place to eat again! Fab service and food 10/10.

Tired understaffed and cold with just about average food.

Me and the family had a lovely lunch here, been to a few Frankie and Bennies but this is one of my favourite. Lovely staff and our server Reece really pulled out all the stops.

Have not been to this restaurant for years and won’t be going again. It was so cold and draughty that I had to put my coat back on and my food was cold before finishing it. The wine I chose was out of stock too. Definitely NOT worth the money spent.

Waited nearly 90mins for our food and had to leave before it arrived due to having cinema tickets. Very disappointed.

Asked for extra chilli but the pasta was bland

There was no heating last night when we came here to eat, but we were told this when we arrived. Unfortunately the food took 50 minutes to get to us and my friend's food was so cold. We asked for it to be remade and it was done within 5 minutes but the only thing that was hot were the onion rings. The food was really flavoursome and it was such a shame. We had to ask for her meal to be removed from the bill and I was surprised that it wasn't offered. Overall, good tasting food, shame hLf of it was cold

Excellent service and good atmosphere

Our server, the supervisor was a total star, he was great from the point of booking right to the end at payment. Couldn't of been better. He was absolutely fantastic. For a party of 25 it was super service.

Went out for lunch today, with my husband and daughter, the food was great came out lovely and hot, not too noisy and the staff was very friendly and helpful, the service was quick

Both pasta dishes were hot with perfectly prepared pasta. A nice creamy sauce with the carbonara and plenty of chicken in the piccante.

Was our first experience with Frankie Benny's. We are really enjoyed the food manager on duty was really helpful.

Food quality was poor for the kids meals. The manager was not accommodating to limited diets and would not offer a larger portion of chicken nuggets for an older child. We were disgusted to hear that BBQ sauce cost extra to have. Although the waitress was very nice and pleasant.

It would be better if they had more servers during holidays period at lunchtimes. I felt sorry server expect server more 40 customers by herself I work in restaurant always 2 waitress even less than number mentioned above. The food was delicious.

We were seated quickly despite not having a reservation. Our Server was polite and very helpful. The food was excellent and thoroughly enjoyable.

Won't be going again anytime soon had to wait an hour between starter and mains even though the place was realy quiet awful experience.

Got a just eat delivery from here this evening 2 x spaghetti bolognese, 1 x cheesy garlic bread and 1x onion rings. The spaghetti bolognese portion was kid sized and very bland and oily, the garlic bread was stone cold, tough like rubber, the onion rings looked anemic (undercooked) and soggy, we used to love their food but unfortunately won’t be eating here again

What can I say stuff is really good for the few?They have food really, really slow coming from kitchen as they are under stuff either need to pull their act together.Or close down as they are away under stuff would be going back

Came in when there wasn’t many tables. It was myself, my partner and our baby in a pram. The gentleman that served us was Elden he was very kind, efficient, well mannered and handled running around when it was busy really well. Food was really nice we had a meat feast pizza with a side of sweet potato fries, steak house sirloin cooked to perfection (medium rare) and a side of calamari and 2x cookie dough. All food was lovely. And would definitely visit again for the food and atmosphere and staff.

They have such a large menu now. Lots of options for Gluten Free too. The service was great and very quick.

Pretty empty on a Saturday night. But yet service is ln the slowe side. Good thing is, plenty seats to be seated.

got chips sent them back because they were raw, even when the new ones came back they were cold and hard in the middle. steak came cold and undercooked, we were told you cant have a hot medium rare steak (which makes no sense), overall majority of food was undercooked and cold, never again.

When I visit family in Kent, we always make a point of a meal at Frankie and Benny's. We came on Saturday 2nd November and I think that will be our last visit. The children's menu has changed so one of our children had to have an adult meal. All three adult meals were skimpy, cold and unappetising. Staff were dull and uninterested. Whatever happened to the warm buzzy, busy American dinner vibe. Very poor

Booked a table for this evening to celebrate our Sons 5th Birthday. Arrived for our table booking at 5pm. 1 member of our party had already arrived so we made our way to the table to meet him. Menus were provided but no offer of a drinks order being taken. I realised that we had not been given a children’s menu and tried to get the attention of a couple of members of staff to ask for one, but was either avoided or ignored on each occasion. There appeared to be only 1 waitress but there was a young man seating people and 2 members of staff making drinks at the bar area. We sat at the table for 20 minutes with still no offer of a drink and staff extremely difficult to get the attention of. At one point my father in law politely called out to a member of staff passing our table but was again completely ignored. My husband then did manage to get the attention of a member of staff who came to the table, he immediately gave the impression of having a seriously bad attitude but I politely asked for a children’s menu, I was given no verbal response at all, but instead the member of staff stomped off, I assume, to find a children’s menu, there obviously wasn’t one at front of house where he went to look first, so he had to then retrace his steps back past our table (still no communication) to go towards the kitchen to get one. He came back to the table and again, without speaking, put the menu on the table and walked off. It was at this point my husband decided to question and challenge his poor behaviour stating that we had been waiting for well over 20 minutes and had not yet been spoken to by anyone or even offered so much as a drink. The member of staff became immediately hostile, stating that we had arrived for our booking late (this was absolutely untrue!) and then simply said to us “bye!” And walked off…..at this point we decided to leave the restaurant as we were under the distinct impression that we would not be receiving any further “service” A very unpleasant and disappointing experience, especially as this was for a 5 year olds birthday! Disgusting service and behaviour from the member of staff in question, I am only sorry I did not get his name. I have never known anything like it quite frankly.

Excellent service. Reece was waiting tables alone most of the time but did a fantastic job. Highly attentive and made sure everyone was happy. Very professional. Food was great too.

I had pre-booked a table for four and when I arrived 15 minutes or so prior to the booking time I was informed by the very pleasant member of staff that I had actually booked twice and he, in a pleasant way, asked if I wanted a table four or eight. Having established I only required a table for four, he showed me to the table and I was able almost immediately to order my drink which arrived promptly. From thereon in it went pear shaped bigtime. My guests arrived and seeing me came straight to the table which seemed to upset the member of staff who was attending the "welcome" table at the time, a member of staff who was to become the main source of my irritation that time at this so-called friendly restaurant. My guests sat and we chatted for five minutes or so, the I began looking around for some service so that drinks could be ordered, after another few minutes (no longer than 5 minutes) I saw two male members of staff (the friendly one who had showed me to the table and served my drink so promptly and the member I mentioned earlier). They were both dealing with a coffee order (I assumed for one table), as the second member of staff (the hitherto unfriendly one) looked up I raised my hand for attention and got what I thought was a nod of the head in acknowledgement. He then proceeded to walk towards and then down the aisle that our booth was situated. As he came towards us I tried to catch his eye but he resolutely maintained his focus on the kitchen area, as he walked past I said (in a voice that could not be missed but equally was not shouting) "excuse me", he absolutely and totally ignored me. In all my years of frequenting pubs bar and restaurants I have never met a more arrogant and snobbish server. My son (one of my guests) managed to get the eye of the more friendly server and explained that after at least 15 minutes of no service we were leaving, I headed to were the more friendly server was and requested to pay the bill for my drink so that I too could leave, to his credit he said there was no need for me to pay.

I brought my brother here for his Birthday and they did not disappoint. The service was exceptional and our server was really helpful and patient answering all our questions and being super helpful with food recommendations. The food was also really tasty and my steak was cooked perfectly. All around a pleasant experience and thanks to the staff for a great time.

Came here with my family and was totally disappointed. The meat was completely rotten. We notified the manager and returned the meal, but all she did was refund the cost of the meat and return the rest of the food. This was very disappointing, as there's a possibility the contaminated meat could have affected the rest of the meal. I actually feel nauseous right now.

Restaurant refused to serve from a menu supplied on arrival that should have been valid from noon with no mention on it of an expiry time. Told it ceased at 5 pm. Did not say anywhere on menu though. So had to use main, more expensive menu and what we wanted was not available. So had second and third choices.

Our waitress Julie, gave exceptional service despite being on the floor on her own. Nothing was too much trouble for her. You wouldn't really notice that she was the only staff member on the floor as you never wanted for anything. She was so attentive. I wish all customer interactions could be with someone like Julie. Oh, and the food was great too!! Definitely will come back

Enjoyed a meal with my teenage son before the cinema. It was a really warm day, no windows open, no air con. It was reasonable in price and tasted ok. Helped ourselves to cutlery from the caddy on the table and pulled out dirty cutlery. Really turned my stomach and made me question the cleanliness of the rest of the restaurant. Restaurant lacked atmosphere. Wouldn't return.

Chose F&B today before visiting the cinema. Freya did a great job. she was friendly and efficient. We were welcomed immediately and seated promptly. Freya our waitress checked in with us at the right moment to get our drinks order; and was professional, friendly and efficient. She was clearly handling a lot of tables but didn't rush and took time to properly engage with us. Food tasted great. All in all, the kind of experience that's hard to come by these days. Thoroughly enjoyed it. Freya rounded off by being available for the desserts order (although we passed on the desserts and went for drinks instead) and delivered the bill when we were ready. Would recommend - lots of families with children of all ages and they were all clearly having a great time without the stresses you sometimes see parents going through when the service is slow or the food isn't good. Perfect pre or post cinema eating experience.
