Some of the mums in our baby group go for lunch here after class & we are always accommodated. Great food, beautiful fresh produce in the shop & a beautiful setting with lots to do for the children outside.

Lovely service delicious food and a relaxing atmosphere. Had lots of lunches and breakfast here and always have enjoyed

Went with my family for lunch, the food was amazing!! Great quality and we did not have to wait long for our food. Would highly recommend and we will be retuning for the evening service.

We’ve eaten at Forage a number of times now both lunchtime and in the evening. Went last night again for dinner (currently they are open for dinner on Friday and Saturday nights hopefully that will extend this year) the food was as always superb - top quality and presentation. The chef and his team are first class, work very hard and it’s always perfect. Local produce is highlighted well. Front of house are brilliant - very friendly, professional and always with a smile. The new manager Christiano is a highly qualified professional and will be a major addition to the team. If you haven’t been then you are missing out and I would say just try it. The shop is also well stocked and again local produce is very much to the fore. It’s all once again quality. Breakfast and lunch are also excellent and the coffees second to none. You can also book online which is useful too.

I regularly visit Forage Farm to meet work colleagues as it’s central for us all and what a gem it is! Breakfast is freshly cooked to order using fresh ingredients, plenty of choice of drinks and the cakes are to die for, don’t ever change!

Myself, husband and daughter went for (the festive) Sunday lunch for the first time recently and WOW, it was the best Sunday lunch we've ever had out and we've had quite a few over the years! The service was great, the food was piping hot and the flavours were just the best! Lovely slices of turkey, stuffing, bread sauce, very meaty pigs in blankets (they even brought extra ones out for us), proper home cooked roast potatoes, honey glazed parsnips & carrots, cauliflower cheese on the side and also tender stem broccoli and kale. The piece de resistance was the port gravy, it was gorgeous, honestly, you could not fault our meal one bit, it was so flavoursome. We will definitely be back, the farm shop is lovely too, well stocked with Welsh produce, including a great butcher's counter that make the most amazing lamb and mint sausages.

Visited Christmas shop with my 90 year old dad. On entering the hut my father hit his head on the low entrance to the shop as he was concentrating on the floor as he uses a walking stick for mobility and balance. This resulting in a deep cut to his scalp which was bleeding. The assistant who was on her phone did not come over to see how my dad was , apologise or show any concern about my father’s injury or welfare. She directed me to the main building to access a first aid kit. Again no compassion,care or sympathy were shown by the young staff .My father was not even offered a chair to sit on.I was shocked by the lack of concern by staff. In my opinion the entrance to the hut is too low and dangerous,a definite health and safety issue. I contacted Forage owner to inform him of the incident and hopefully prevent others getting injured.

Came here for a Christmas meal with friends. The roast turkey lunch was delicious, piping hot and beautifully presented. The service was excellent.

Poor service form the staff , they made no attempt to meet our needs during or visit this was our first time and our last , and we wont be using the farm shop either.

My partner booked the forage restaurant for my 30th birthday we were both really looking forward to dining with you. The service from the young lady, I didn’t catch her name but she had long mousy brown hair was absolutely amazing. Unfortunately, when our mains come out, mine wasn’t cooked to how I ordered it which was medium rare sirloin it come out blue. The waitress was very apologetic took the meal away & told us she would have it removed from the bill. My partner ended up eating alone as it was 10/15 mins before mine came back out which then resulted me eating alone we were then given a bowl of chips no explanation just placed on the table by the blond waitress who just walked away, we didn’t ask for extra chips & actually didn’t want them as a way of saying sorry. When paying nearly £30 for a 8oz sirloin steak, 9 chips & a piece of tender stem broccoli you’d expect it to be a good meal, unfortunately it didn’t meet any expectations & I’d have been happier at the local harvester. The most insulting part was when the bill come out & not even the drinks had been taken off - even our waitress was embarrassed & couldn’t stop apologising for the inconvenience, we left a £5 tip for the waitress as she done her job well but the rest of the experience was shocking.

Forage has quickly become one of our favourite places to go both as a couple for brunch/lunch or with the children for a coffee and play on the park! It’s always excellent service and food/drinks are delicious, there’s so much for the children to see...
