Food Glorious Food Cafe in Fareham

Expensive for what is clearly budget supplied food for a standard breakfast. For £1.50 more you could have their top meal treble most items but too much to eat. I had finished my breakfast and went to the toilet leaving my cup of tea to be finished on my return and my coat still on the chair. On my return the table had been cleared by a rude waitress. To be fair, the proprietor did offer me a replacement tea but it shouldn't have happened in the first place being so eager to clear an obviously occupied table. It is a typical roadside caff but expensive and rude service.

We had a cooked breakfast here whilst the car was being valeted. The sausages and bacon were both clearly budget and the milkshakes didn’t even make an appearance until we were halfway through eating. The woman serving/cooking never smiled or offered a greeting on our arrival or when leaving, there was no please or thank you and she was also blatantly rude. I won’t be returning.

I have been here with family and friends many many times . Their breakfast Never lets us down ! Good service! I can make my own tea the way I like! My advice , go for their breakfast menu.

If you like a real cafe serving the sort of food you got years ago then this is the place. The staff are friendly, the food is good and the portions are on the large size.

always look forward to getting a proper breakfast here, really well cooked and sorts you out well. tea and coffee are cheap, but food can be a little pricey if ur rly hungry but worth it.

I love a proper Cafe with cooked breakfasts, omelettes and mixed grills, I travel all over the South East on business and regularly visit such establishments, this is one of the best. The staff are always helpful, especially the main llady, I’m a bit awkward and always want something different from the menu but she always obliges and we tend ro have a bit of banter too. Forget Costa and Starbucks, this is the real deal.

Off the beaten track, but what a find! An excellent full English with endless tea and coffees. Lots of food, beautifully cooked and really good value. Highly recommended.

Visited on Sunday morning when the local shops were busy. So no where to park easily. Especially with the car wash out side. The food was ok, didn’t quite get our order rite and found egg shells in my eggs. Overall, for the price paid. And no coffee or tea included in that price. I think this was a let down for me. Service was average at best. Shame, I remember this place being a lot better. Both service and food.

This is a great cafe for breakfast and hot food. It’s a simple set up that gives you a decent cooked meal at a fair price. The breakfasts are generous and there are decent menu options. The staff are always friendly even when very busy and service is quick.

Always a good choice for something to eat when you are hungover or waiting for the car to be cleaned. Ladies are friendly and the food is nice. Fry up if good and all cooked fresh, bonus of a nice dippy egg!

Have been coming here for 12 years on and off as my work place is very close. They serve a great breakfast, cooked nicely and very quickly. I'd class it as a friendly 'greasy cafe'. Reasonably priced. Highly recommended if you want somewhere quick to get a good breakfast.

Went here for a breakfast with my friend on Sunday as it is a great place to go, so I thought. As on walking in the waitress was very rude and dismissive, middle aged woman. I felt very uncomfortable with the way she spoke to us. We then sat down to wait for our food which came out very quickly but the same lady came over and plonked our food next to us then came back with the toast, put it down and walked off. The food was great but it was let down by the rude waitress. When we left a younger lady was very polite and said thank you and goodbye and sat by the door smoking was the other lady with her back to us. A lovely breakfast let down by one rude staff member!

Ok so it's all a bit basic but they serve an excellent breakfast. Staff were very friendly and although a fairly limited menu it was very good value.

Walked in early and it was open. Freindly staff sreved straight away Breakfast was cooked in 5 mins. Tasty food hot coffee. Clean cafe. And parking round back .

The cafe does decent food at decent prices and was very good apart from one member of staff. The middle aged overly tanned woman has a vulgar attitude towards staff and customers the cafe would be much better off without her!

El desayuno era un caos. Lugar estaba cargada con no había aire fresco, estaba llena de vapores quemados. Desayuno llegó tarde, y parece ser que se olvidaron de nosotros.

Always go here for a breakfast - its good and its consistent and priced right.It is a fry up place, it is traditional, its not the Ritz but doesn't pretend to be.Best endorsement for this kind of cafe is the amount of contractors and site workers use it.We always enjoy the breakfast and that's why w keep going back.

They delivery! Wow, brilliant breakfast bap, I couldn't complain, really good food fresh and tastes good. I would recommend , bacon, sausage, hash brown bap.

It's a simple place. Nothing over the top. Very cheap food. Massive portions.My girlfriend and I had the Yorkshire and sausages and the portion size was incredible. The most amount of food I've ever been served anywhere. Tasted amazing to and I only spent 15 on the two meals and a couple drinks.5* worthy easy

I go here all of the time. I only eat chicken so going for a fried breakfast I get the vegetarian option. With the breakfast you get vegetarian sausages that are made of vegetables rather than quorn which are lovely! I prefer that style to any quorn sausage. Really lovely and filling! The chicken "Indy baguette" is equally as good. For £5 it's big enough to fill up 2 people. I'd say it's better than subway :-)

Ordered a breakfast baguette which is egg, bacon and sausage. there was one sausage at one end of the roll and one bit of bacon at the other and an egg in the middle.Big chunks of butter Garbage

This is a greasy spoon style cafe where you go if you want a good meal for a reasonable price. I have been lots of times for the breakfasts and have never had any problems. Most of the staff are nice (one lady is a little rude) and the place seems clean. If you want a fancy meal go to a restaurant, this is a cheap and cheerful cafe where people go for a decent feed.

Will deffo be back, nice friendly atmosphere! Good variety of food offered..... And can also get my car cleaned at the same time, very worth while.

Just had a nice little fried breakfast at 7.15am. I have been hunting for a place that can serve before 9 for ages. It was fresh cooked and tasty. Though a tea wasn't included in the price the £1.20 did include free refills. The place looks clean the kitchen was tidy and the staff member was friendly. I will be going back.

Arrived with intention of purchasing 2 big breakfasts & hot drinks. The owner who drives a red van was blocking the entrance to their carpark, unloading loose salad that was on the vans dirty floor. There was no apology or anything he just looked at us & carried on unloading a few lettuces at a time. We ended up reversing back out and leaving! Rude man!

Say you money £3.25 for a bacon sandwich. That's daylight robbery That's about £1 above average price And definitely not worth

Ordered in this place yesterday and they told us twenty minutes later they had chucked out order away. Whilst one young girl was apologetic the older blonde lady was rude and did not apologise. She did not actually care that she had binned our order. Breakfast was greasy and they were very unorganised. Won't be eating here again!

Good well cooked, clean, hot food, good sized portions at reasonable prices, you make your own hot drinks at a seperate table, we loved it there, tidy trucker café.

Phoned the cafe on a sunday to see if they would deliver, the lovely lady on the phone informed me they dont normally do deliveries on sundays but the driver was in so she went and checked to see if he would, much to mine and my partners delight he said he would do a delivery so within 25 minutes our food was at the door, the delivery driver was very friendly and I had felt like they really went the extra mile, and on top of that the quality of the food was brilliant,from the moment they picked up the phone to the moment it was delivered it was 5 star service, I highly recommend this cafe to anyone.

this about the worst place ive been to for customer service ,staff need a happy injection When i say customer service there was none. We were going to stay for lunch ,however couldnt stand the atmosphere

not really worth a visit,,,staff very unhappy, to the point of puffing and blowing when making an order,,,,tables,, well i needed a scraper to get my sleeve off the table,,,the offerings arrived,,,, and were left after a few mouthfuls,,,deffinatly will not be returning!, total waste of money, my time , would have been better at macdonalds!

Well how can i start, we went on the weekend my family and I for a late breakfast! The staff were slow and not over friendly, we waited to order whilst one lady 'cooking' who was not at the time just stood there looking at us didn't serve us just waited for another lady too. We thought this was rude and unacceptable, its safe to say we will NOT be going back to this dump! It wasn't suitable for a family with young children, slow service, toast was cold, waste of time and money. Even though the 'food' was cheap it was very far from cheerful, tasted average and looked poor, the food looked like it was just dumped on the plate, very messy and unprofessional. I mean we didn't go into this cafe with outstanding expectations because you can tell by the location and the appearance from the outside that this cafe wasn't going to be 5* ratings and by god we were right. Still i guess you need to try these things out and all, but we are warning you that you will be wasting your time and money, money is tight at the moment for us and im sure many other people. -Don't go to this cafe, you will regret it. Sorry to say.

The staff are all rude,it's dirty and poor service. Waste of time and money! We do not recommend! It's not suitable for families with young children due to poor behavior by hulagn customers, poor view from instead can't see anything of the outside apart from cars. Very rough looking on the outside and worse inside, it was messy when we visited my family and I. Poor customer service at the till,long waits for ordering and receiving food aswell.

0930 called up to order two large breakfasts for delivery. I live in the street behind the cafe & thought after a long week in work we'd order breakfast in bed. 9 phone calls later & 2 hours have past & still no delivery! Couldn't understand the P in my postcode?? So I explain "PX as in Papa Xray" the staff replied "Is it like T for a can of tango" OH MY GOD WE GAVE UP!!

Not much to look at from the outside as it is hidden behind a car wash but inside it's a clean and cheerful cafe with excellently priced food. I had a sausage baguette and my boyfriend had a full English - both were substantial, well prepared and v tasty. Beats supermarket and chain cafés hands down.

Been here before and never disappointed, cater for families and veggies as they offer a kids breakfast and several veggie options.Needed the car washed as taking relatives out tomorrow and there is a car wash outside.Perfect food freshly cooked and the staff and owner are really pleasant Think I might treat my sales guys soon as need another excuse to go again.

just down the road from the Premier Inn that I stayed in, service was slick & the chow good. Sited in an old service station, now a car-wash -- don't let this put you off!

Traditional English Breakfast cooked to order and fresh before my eyes. Friendly staff you can see are there to ensure you enjoy your meal.Convenient for me as there are retail outlets to the rear.

I really liked it here it reminds me of cafes found in Yorkshire. You can get a Breakfast for around a fiver and its really filling. I had a Vegetarian Breakfast with 2 vege Sausages, 2 eggs, Tomatos |Mushrooms, fried slice, Hash browns and Tomatos. Also Mug of tea is only 1 pound which you can refill as many times as you like. Will be returning forget mcDonalds Breakfast this is much better value.

Recommended by a friend and didn't disappoint - huge portions freshly cooked and good value and quality. Basic surroundings-transport cafe style but none the worse for that. We were staying at the premier inn nearby only a short walk away so this wee place is ideal and gives you the choice of a full fry up or alternatives like scrambled egg on toast or but ties in many forms. Unlimited tea and coffee too. Will definitely use again.

Having been going to this establishment for quite a while with my friend, and enjoyed innumerable bacon butties, tea, full breakfasts etc, I was a bit disappointed when we went in last weekend for a quick bite to eat.I dont know if they have changed their suppliers, but the bacon was more fat than meat, the bap was a mini bagette, over over indulged with fatty spread, One of the staff was so busy chatting to her friend at one of the tables, she forgot that washing hands between washing up and food prep, is a health and safety issue, and also, after going out for a ciggie,she didnt wash her hands before continuing to serve customers.Not the usual standard for here at all. I only hope it gets better again soon,

Have breakfast here while you get your car washed and the wife and kids visit the nearby stores. During the week a good place for tradesmen to have breakfast or lunch. Not many of these places still exist outside the cities

If you are in the areas between Southampton and Portsmouth and in need of a Really Good,Well cooked and presented Breakfast, look no further! Forget Tesco or Sainsburys or the other "Chains" serving Plastic Breakfasts with eggs, bacon and stuff that has been pre-cooked!Try this place it serves a "cooked to order" breakfast for around a Fiver,Sausage, 2 Rashers of bacon,HashBrowns,2 Fried Eggs, Beans or Tomatoes,(or any combo you ask for) Pay £1 for a mug of tea and go back and refill it as many times as you wish! They also have an extensive range of other freshly cooked meals available throughout the day.I have been using this place for about 3 years and have never been disappointed, very chirpy freindly staff. The downside it is attached to a drive in Hand Car Wash but hey, leave the car for a spring clean and enjoy a Hearty Breakfast while it is being spruced up!

I would class this cafe as an upmarket greasy spoon. The cafe itself is clean with comfortable, solid furniture. The food is good although the bacon was a bit fatty, other than that the food was very good. Tea and coffee is paid for at the counter & then you help yourself to the mugs and pour your own via the urn. I found this a good idea as I am quite fussy about how strong my tea. I've been twice now to this cafe and will def go again.

We have had breakfast here a few times. The breakfasts are tasty enough but not 'high quality' lets say. The atmoshpere is that of a 'drivers cafe'. Food is ordered and paid for at the counter. Tea/Coffee (free refills) is extra and you have to make it yourself. The 'girls' serving are always very friendly.
