Was lovely to see Callum back at the restaurant. had a lovely meal of scampi thoroughly enjoyed it. I lost my dear husband back in May 2014 and he is dearly missed ..Callum was very good at looking after me on that day.. Will definitely be back

Visited today ordered a rump steak from the mix it deal from the menu. The steak really fatty when mentioned this to the manager I was told they would mention this to their supplier!!! Asked to take some chicken strips home they said yes and put some foil on the table for us to wrap the food in!!!! All in all not great I must say all the staff were very pleasant. We were offered an ice cream on the house! J

We visited as a mixed group aged 4 to late 50's, something for everyone, reasonable prices, good choice and great staff. All 6 of us enjoyed the experience very much.

Cheap and cheerful pub food. Plenty of choice and lots of deals. Large selection of drinks. All staff really friendly.

It is what it is, fitted our purpose perfectly, food was good, cider was chilled and all staff we interacted with were lovely.

It's a nice pub with a nice ambience and friendly/caring staff, we had a good time here, and the food was delicious, There is a nice family section too.

First they didn't have what my wife wanted so had to order a chicken burger. They both arrived with no coleslaw so the rest was dry. Only came with 2 onion rings and the fries were overdone. Was told they could only do pints of soft drinks no doubt double the price. And the staff on the bar seemed like they couldn't give a damn.

Called in for our tea on a very busy night . Got seated straight away .ordered ultimate mixed grill and ultimate big combo .food arrived very quickly piping hot ,full of flavour and cooked perfectly .

I don't like posting bad reviews however I won't be returning here again unless I'm dying of starvation. Ordered the gravy burger. Not sure what sauce it was but it definitely wasn't gravy. Paid an extra 50p for salt and pepper chips.... dont do it!!! Whatever spice was put on it bared no resemblance to salt and pepper at all, it tastes like aniseed and ruines the chips. Asked if the fish had skin on and was told... 'erm, don't know but I'd guess not'. Stood there for 5 minutes looking confused then said they'd ask the chef. My son spilt a drink so I asked someone for a cloth to clean it. A different guy came out, started wiping the seat, looking at us every 10 seconds and then asked if it was clean!! I then had to go to the bar to buy another drink and ask for more cloth to clean the table as the guy who wiped the seat didn't think the drink all over the table needed cleaning. Ordered dessert via the app, 3x 2 scoops of ice cream, they brought out 2 then proceeded to argue that we'd only ordered 2 until we showed them the order form. Ordered ice cream with sauce but needed a magnifying glass to find the sauce. The cheesecake was so dry too, not sure how that's possible but it isn't edible. Sat eating ice cream and not 1 but 2 servers both within 30 seconds of each other came to ask if I'd finished the ice cream when clearly I hadn't. The only saving grace was the bar man who was friendly and competent.

Very affordable. I would suggest you need to be careful if applying blue light discount as it overrides any other discount and can make things more expensive, but other than that, absolutely brilliant. Particularly a young fella who was having a nightmare with a couple at the next table over. He's a star.

We are frequent visitor's to Wacky Warehouse due to it being such good value for money and an excellent place for the kids to burn off some energy, but what makes the place truly excellent is the staff! Becky ensures that Wackies is inviting with lots of different events being planned. Another asset to the place is Tony, who was constantly working and keeping busy despite us being there on a very calm and quiet day. They didn't sit down once and kept on finding bits to do despite having few customers at the time (it was early and very hot out!) The Summer passes are truly excellent value for money, at £14 a child, you've made your money back if you visit 3 times within the 6 weeks and it's such a good place to come for the children to burn off energy for an hour or two. The food is also very reasonable here if you want to treat the family. Overall, a 5 star experience for us!

We go here regular for meals and have never been let down before. Today they had kitchen maintenance issues so no food was available until 11:30, we’d gone especially for a late breakfast. We arrived just before 11 so decided to wait and have an early lunch as the breakfast menu wasn’t available. The meals we had arrived quickly and was very tasty. Good value for money. Great service as usual from Chrissy who was very apologetic.

Great food .Staff polite One young gentleman on the night had exceptional customer service skills didn't catch his name.This is second time we have been in area recently on a Monday night at around 7.30 and just as get through door been told may not want to wait as could be over an hour .Nowhere else to beso said Ok was having a drinks well Both times once reached till and put order in they said 20 to 30 mins .

A Lamb Rogan Josh and a pint of cider for £7. Amazing value. Lamb was tender and an acceptable lunch time portion. Highly recommended. I would consider coming back to watch the football and have a pint and curry each half :)

Come here once a month. Food and service much improved over the last few months. Family atmosphere so don’t expect a quiet meal. Good family fun and food. Good varied menu.

Lovely place and usually good food for a good price. This visit food wasn't as nice as remembered, my partners chips were stale, obviously reheated. Service was quick but a bit suspiciously quick barley say down 5 mins after ordering and food came which means clearly isn't freshly made. Nice enough for a cheap and quick meal but have known it to be better.

This we use most of the time as it is nearer to us. The only downside is it does not do a carvery but at least there is an option for that. We find the meals are first class and also the service with very reasonable prices. We also find the staff very pleasant to chat to and they really do look after you. Overall a really nice place to go to even though I do not drink myself.

Helpful staff the food was okay it was a bit noisy at first due to young kids, but will go back sometime.

Attended here this evening after driving 3 hours from North Norfolk. On arrival front of house meet and greet was very friendly explained about the father's day free pint and was very approachable. Service at the bar was very quick and efficient. Then it came to recieving our meal and what an absolute mess. One meal arrived with no salad one arrived incorrect and one had mayo in after specifically requesting none due to pregnancy. The server was atrocious, very rude, very abrupt and everything seemed to be too much like hard work to do. I thought it was just because it was fathers day and the place would be busy but I couldn't be more wrong it was dead I started to think, what is wrong with this place to be so quiet on a normally busy time. Once the meals had finally been sorted out.....baring in mind it took 20 mins for my partners quadzilla to arrive....I asked to speak to a manager and I was pleased to say that I was greeted by a gentleman by the name of callum. He was so polite and so helpful he really was so apologetic and even offered us free desserts by way of apology. Had I have just got up and walked out like I would do normally I would be leaving massively negative review but thanks to the kind and professional approach to my complaint that Callum dealt with I find myself leaving a relatively good review. So in a nutshell, food 4* bar staff 5* server 1* and manager 5*+ thank you for dealing with this complaint swiftly

Just had an amazing mix grill I have to admit it's the best mix grill I've had in a long time, will definitely be coming back

Came for breakfast with the family on a Saturday morning and it was lovely and quiet, service was quick, very friendly and helpful and the food was as good as ever, lovely spot

A good budget spot, handy location near Vue and Tenpin and plenty of free parking out front. Food's simple and cheap with different deals everyday. Let's be honest it's a cheap and cheerful chain, don't expect Michelin food and you'll get on just fine. £35 for 2 people with three courses can't complain.

Served by Callum, Jordan and Chloe. All fantastic, friendly and welcoming. Been going here for years and never seem to fail with their service and care for customers. Food is standard pub food which is piping hot and comes out quickly. All together it’s a great experience, very much recommend!

Came here with a toddler and a pre-schooler. We were constantly rushed. A member of staff, Aaron, came over as we just started eating with a flyer asking us to leave a review. And twice more after he asked if we wanted to order pudding and asked if he could take our plates. We were all still eating! So I guess good customer service just poor timing.

Tried to visit, was a favourite of my parents so wanted to visit with a friend whose parents had also used it. Seemed like a decent place to meet as we were both travelling a fair distance. Booked a table, got no confirmation so 24 hrs later rebooked with message explaining. Only after another 2 hours did I get an email advising me they were closed for training. None of this was on the website so now 29 hours later I have to reorganise. I get that things happen but in this digital age it’s not hard to update your website for temporary closures. Not doing so just says you can’t be bothered with your potential customers. Having read some of the reviews it seems I probably dodged a bullet so hey ho……

Freshly cooked breakfast, nice cup of coffee. Throughly tasty. Warm and welcoming staff of shift. It’s always great to see Chrissy on the breakfast shift. Great service throughout, even in a rainy day, Chrissy brightens it up.

Stop for brunch on our way home from holiday in Whitby. Very impressed with this place. A lovely warm and efficient welcome from Nat, the Manager Rob was on his game , busy all the time . The food was very nice and reasonably priced. All the staff on duty are to be complimented on their excellent customer service. Clean and tidy pub, we will return. Thank you ..

Lovely meal. Very tasty and got it on a deal so even better. Great atmosphere and helpful staff. Made sure we were well looked after. Had the mini mixed grill and the 15oz gammon and both were fab. Will visit again.

Of course I would.

Choice of breakfasts from beans on toast to some so big you can’t eat it all. Always a quick service. Using the app a bonus for food and drinks. Regular visitors to this place.

On entering the pub which we have visited a few times, we were immediately greeted by “Becca,” with a smile that lit the room up. Our little one is presently having to exclude dairy from her diet and to have a knowledgeable, helpful member of staff when we are fairly new to this was an absolute godsend! As we changed our order about fifteen times due to dietary needs and picky kids, she didn’t tut once! I would have hated serving us but water off a ducks back here, unflappable and kind, such rare qualities in someone working in the pressure of hospitality these days! I wanted to write the review in real time and our starter has just arrived so although we have eaten here a few times I’ll keep my review of the food just to the starter. Onion ring stack, absolutely blinding! Can’t fault it! The waitress Leah, just came over and asked if we are ready for our mains, instead of just plonking it down, as happens in so many of these chain pubs! I do hope the management read this review and compliment two great young ladies accordingly. No hesitation in recommending The Flying Legend. Fantastic staff who go the extra mile, (even a cheeky charge for my ecig!). Can’t fault them!

Really good value food. The play area is often closed which is disappointing when taking children out for lunch. Really helpful and friendly staff.

Lovely food!! A few complaints, not enough peppercorn sauce as an extra. My husband complained that 4 pieces of scampi for an additional £2 wasn’t sufficient. And that his jacket was like saw dust. However, for how busy it was, the turn around was great. I had gammon and had no complaints RE my meal. Infact other than potato’s and ‘extra add on’ portions being too small. It was lovely.

We arrived at 12.30pm on a Saturday, the restaurant was around 1/4 full. Food was easy to order, and came quite quickly. It was hot and everyone enjoyed their meal. We had ordered kids meals and pre-ordered their desserts, but still had to ask staff twice for their desserts, and we were kept waiting a good 45mins for a kids brownie and a scoop of ice-cream. The kids were incredibly bored by this time, and it spoiled what had started out as a nice family lunch out. Staff were more interested in clearing empty tables than seeing to the customers who were sat waiting for service.

Cracking Brekkie served up by the lovely Christina. Great Coffee and the Breakfast Burrito is epic.As well as the Hangover cure Mac and Cheese..

3rd visit on our way to the coast. Excellent food, friendly service and very well priced, especially kids meals. We had 3 full breakfasts, fish and chips and 2 kids meals. With drinks just over £50.

Good menu and lovely inexpensive food

Yet again a wonderful evening at The Flying Legends pub. My daughter, myself & my best friend went there to celebrate my birthday. As before we were welcomed & given a table exactly where we wanted. The food was delicious again. The southern fried chicken burgers and the ultimate combo. During the meal we were asked if everything was ok, which it was. The meals were finished perfectly with chocolate fudge cake and brownie, both with the ice cream. All the staff were lovely and friendly as usual. Especially Chloe. A very enjoyable evening again thanks to Chloe and the staff at Flying Legends

Lovely staff and good food, pleasantly surprised at this random stop off after shopping. The classic menu was 2 large plates for £11.99 and the quality was great.

Visiting on a busy Sunday Lunchtime we were ready to wait for long periods or have substandard service, how wrong we were! The pub was heaving with very few spare tables but the staff were absolutely fantastic and never stopped in order to keep the customers happy and the place clean and tidy. We had starters and mains and all were hot, tasty and well presented. The beer was cold and crisp and the gin was served in a balloon glass with ice and fruit. Toilets were well stocked and spotless on each visit too! Great experience and we will definitely return!

Our visits have been very hit and miss at the legends recently, called Tuesday and was sleighed to see Callum was back. He is what the pubs been missing. The service was fantastic the staff was on it! The food was perfect, everything cooked perfect and nice fresh chips. This has restored our faith back into then legends.

Great deals on food, perfect for meal with family. Staff were friendly and efficient, great environment. Visited when busy and staff were helpful to get us a table cleaned when we hadn’t booked.
