One toasty, one mushroom soup, one tomato/basil soup and one quiche. All lovely. Free Wi-Fi. Very pleasant ladies serving. Would certainly visit again.

Pleasant cafe and staff. Very disappointed however with the food. Ordered a cheese toastie which was £7.50 and was basically the thinnest white bread with a slice of cheese toasted with a tablespoon of coleslaw and lettuce. Overpriced and felt done.

Me and my family have been visiting this cafe for a couple of years now and would always recommend it. Delicious homemade lunches and cakes served everyday and lovely coffee! My 3 year old son even loves the selection of drinks and snacks on offer and we always get a warm welcome from the staff. A real little gem in the heart of Truro.

AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!! Awful food and manger is absolutely disgusting in the way they speak too staff and customers! Would rather save my money

always call in when we in truro they'r homemade cakes are delicous.staff are friendly place is clean and has high ceiling which gives a slightly false sense of spaceiousness when in fact it's rather small however that does'nt detract from the quality of it's food which is tasty and of a high standard.prices are reasonable service is good. one of our favourite stops for lunch or afternoon coffee and cake whenever we in truro.

Well what a place! Awfully hot & uncomfortably so. Only called in for coffee & snack. The 'manager' insulted me & humiliated a member of staff in one fell swoop! She barked at staff member to "well, make the coffee while the customer faffs about with their money" . I was astonished & was tempted to walk out but stayed for my order - bent fork & moderate food. Not a nice atmosphere & was glad to leave. Poor staff having to go there every day!!!!!! Would NOT recommend.

Today whist on a short visit to Truro my wife and I visited this little cafe, and my first impression was OK but after ordering and sat down to drink my coffee and eat my carrot cake I was totally shocked and discusted by the way the manager was speaking to her colleague/worker who was of foreign origin and a new starter. Shouting at him and banging cutlery on the side in front of other customers. Even if you make mistakes you don't treat people like that and was totally unprofessional. Good luck to the young chap working there as we will never return there again after our experience. Even other customers could be heard sniggering about the awful lady boss working there. As a manager myself I'm afraid she would of been disaplined working for me.. Shame because the carrot cake was actually really nice.

The staff are pleasent enough and the building is fairly easy on the eye, but the prices are far too high (£2.50 for a flapjack, or toasted tea cake). To be fair, the coffee is about the normal price as a standard cafe, ditto jacket potatoes - but overall, it is too expensive, even allowing for the fact it is in Truro. Bespoke prices for less than bespoke food.

Popped in for a cup of tea and cake, the tea was like weak dish water and the fruit cake has too much fruit which must be a first, other half had the rocky road which was solid, What do you say to the staff?? Just paid up about £7 and left. the library was fine. Parking in Truro is terrible as is the poor road system. the Council needs to do something about it, hopefully in my lifetime.

After shopping around on a very wet Wednesday . I decided to have lunch.. as an owner of a cafe in Cornwall myself I always support the local traders I went into Flying Aubergine.. I wish I hadn’t ....I was completely horrified at the way the small woman who was supposed to be the manager treat her staff and customers. She was exceptional rude and the way she barked at a poor lady staff member to clear a table in front of everybody why she couldn’t do it herself as the staff member was busy I do not know it was not only embarrassing to customers and her staff she was a disgrace to employers.. I have a cafe myself and I have had my staff for many years .if I treat them like that I would be out of business for sure ..Staff are the backbone of any business and should be treat with respect.. I suggest the young lad and older woman should get out of there and leave her to it ..as you are both are worth more than working at this awful cafe .and as for the food I had a small jacket potato with a spoonful of tuna and a handful of lettuce £6.95 rip off!! please do yourself a favour and walk on by..

Bacon sandwich not too bad. Poor value, I should have sent the coffee back it loked and tased like dishwater.

I have been popping into this cafe for some years due to its convenient location in the centre of Truro, plus its reasonally good food, but no more. On my last visit, the milk jug was dark and stained inside and today my saucer was blatantly dirty. No way had it seen a dishwasher! Do they just reuse them in busy periods? I can forgive most things if the staff are friendly and pleasant, but definitely not today. Even in busy periods would an occasional smile be so much to ask? Apparently so.

Atmosphere, very noisy at the service area, bottles etc. I know you would expect that area to be noisy with coffee machines, but this was banging stuff constantly you could not have a conversation. The service was very good, we had a Panini each, the chicken and bacon was okay but the panini just dry and not nice. The person who served us could have had a cleaner apron on, we almost decided to not go in, but thought let's give it a try, that's twice we have been, probably wouldn't go again. Sorry don't like to give negative reviews.

loved the atmosphere and great food huge servings with a smile. lovely spot for lunch came across it on a day out. varied food and something a little bit different than fries with everything. worth a visit

We came in here after a disappointing visit to The Old Grammar School. 4 choices of homemade vegetarian soup. My husband had roasted parsnip & honey & I had lentil soup, wholemeal bread & butter. Wonderful flavoursome soups & friendly staff. Will return.

My review is about the reception I got from one member of staff, rather than a culinary experience. I popped in because they were advertising part time staff. I was greeted by a friendly young man who politely made the manager aware that I was there. After several attempts to contact someone on the phone, she finally acknowledged me & said, "So what do you want?"... She continued to 'bark' questions at me in a totally derogatory manner. I was left flabbergasted & totally insulted to be spoken to in this way. This woman clearly needs to learn some basic communication skills. It is no wonder they cannot find staff to work there. They have had the notice up since the summer! I won't be visiting there again or recommending it as a place to go.

Good for coffee, sandwiches or a quick meal. Small community educative garden to rear, ideal for children and parents especially after library visits and activities. Great freshly-made orange juice. Friendly staff.

Pedí un café y algunas quiche y me senté en mi mesa. Había mucho estrépito de detrás del mostrador como el chico joven dejó cubiertos y otros artículos. Mi café llegaron pero él se olvidó la leche así que tuve que volver al mostrador para conseguir algunas. Entonces, él dejó el cartón de leche en el piso de arriba. . . que estaba teniendo un mal día.

Café librería truro fue una experiencia interesante. Está en una buena ubicación, y tenía una buena selección de cafés y tés. Había un montón de pasteles en el despliegue, que eran interesantes y buena pinta. El café tiene los 2 habitaciones y hay acceso a un inodoro si pedir la llave.

Excellent coffee and good selection of home made cakes well worth a visit to unwind whilst shopping or to meet friends

Como mi esposa tiene necesidades dietéticas especiales, necesitamos encontrar cafeterías que ofrecen opciones vegetarianas para tartas, etc. La biblioteca hace muy bien en este sentido. Mi única queja sería que la habitación principal puede llegar a ser muy calurosa, aunque un salón fresco está disponible a través del pasaje. Esta habitación también dispone de ordenadores otros de la biblioteca pública.

Fui con mi madre al café la berenjena, que es volar en la biblioteca en Truro, hoy porque el letrero decía vegetariano.. Quería chocolate caliente, pero contenía leche en polvo. Pedí tarta de limón, pero estaba seco y parecía días viejo! Me quejé y cambiado por la tarta de chocolate, era mejor.

Mientras visitaba Truro nos topamos con este café pequeño y encantador, con un relajado ambiente y un gran menú para disfrutar decidimos.

Visited today and had the brie & red onion chutney pannini. Girlfriend had the tuna melt. Both beautiful and well priced. Nice atmosphere and an excellent and very tempting cake selection. Will definitely go again.

Hard chairs but worthwhile. Chicken salad well worth a try and the portions are large. All the cakes are scrumptious too!

A small, pleasant cafe with good value cakes, sandwiches and drinks. Hopefully, its successful operation helps maintain the library itself.

It was the first time I had been to this café, I didn't know it was there! Friends took me there and it was a cosy small place for a cuppa and cake.

La biblioteca en sí es una fuente muy buena de información local, y tiene un par de habitaciones de la comunidad, uno con acceso a computadoras. Tiene un ambiente muy cálido y acogedor, y una pequeña cafetería. Puedes tomar un café o té, refrescos, aperitivos y almuerzos. El café está dirigido por un equipo pequeño y eficiente, y la comida es fresca y deliciosa. Yo tenía Pollo Horneado con yogur y menta, cuñas y ensalada. Mi marido tenía el pastel de pescado y dijo que era preciosa. Ambas porciones eran generosos y buena relación calidad-precio. El personal te hacen sentir bienvenido, y que usted es un cliente valioso, algo que por desgracia no me parece en algunos lugares! El ambiente es relajado, a pesar de que el personal bastante concurrida, y no nos sentimos presionados. Las tartas son preciosas! Sólo tenía que tener el fatless pastel de frutas! Esta fue la versión de pastel de limón llovizna excepto que se hizo con las clementinas! Húmedo, lleno de sabor y pequeñas piezas de clementinas. Absolutamente precioso, y un cambio de tarta de chocolate (había uno allí también, pero me pareció que me gustaría probar algo diferente para cambiar.) Mi marido tenía un flapjack, que él también disfrutamos. Esta es la segunda vez que he estado en este café y las dos veces que no me ha decepcionado. Un pequeño tesoro de un café.

Biblioteca Situado dentro de Truro. Un café muy atractivo con un ambiente continental. Café de verdad y de comercio justo tés italiano con comida casera.
