Went to the cafe for lunch. Was told there was no hot food as they had turned off the ovens 50 minutes from closing. Had a salad for £10.95. Too cold and obviously had sat there all day. Some of the noodles were dripping off the plate but the servers didn’t care. Ate the food. Felt sick afterwards. Every table was littered with dirty plates and cups. No trays available as they hadn’t been collected.

Sadly this once lovely little spot to sit and enjoy a light lunch has been "updated" and the usual comfortable tables and chairs replaced with very uncomfortable, cold metal seating and high metal tables. Given that the general clientele of the place is most likely to be older people, the wisdom of this decision defeats me. Sadly we won't be eating there again which is a shame because the food is pleasant enough and reasonably priced. Whoever made this decision may need to have a rethink about their demographic.

Lovely garden centre and cafe here, loads of plants, food and furniture. They have a Maidenhead aquatics and the works here. The food is lovely,a wide choice of food and drinks at the cafe.I had the banana split,Patatas fritas and a vanilla shaken udder milkshake. They do so much for gluten free including brownies, gluten free lemon drizzle cake and banana split. The banana split was delicious, loved the ice cream, cream, sprinkles and the banana itself.I loved the patatas fritas and the Vanilla Shaken Udder Milkshake.Nicely decorated cafe.

An unfortunate experience from beginning to end. Prices are far too high in all areas. The home decor section is large but disappointing since the quality does not match the high end prices. Very difficult to find staff to help with queries/prices/directions. When we did find someone to ask we were treated like an irritation. We learned that since removing the butchers they will be now be removing the works as well. Very poor business move in my opinion as this will have a large impact on the local community who have come to really appreciate having the works locally. My grand children always look forward to visiting the works after we’ve chosen some flowers and had a snack in the cafe, I think we’ll be looking to go elsewhere for out family days out in future.

Prices missing from food items in cafe, no pricing on cold drink selection. No menus so no one knows what to order or even what they sell . Range of salad bowls on show but no price or what they have to go with it . No sandwiches visible , jacket potatoes seen but again nothing to say what fillings they have or prices . Staff not interested or knowledgeable in cafe . Outdoor food area seating is lovely and peaceful but in general overpriced cakes for a small portion, could do better compared to other garden centres such as Dobbies . Lack of staff in general and queues at till in main area as only 1 staff member on till . Toilets are glorified porta cabins ! Overall good for a browse but overpriced.

Very over-priced food. Sausage roll priced at £7.95 ish! Service was failrly quick. The food available to purchase outside of the retaurant in the main Garden Centre aisles is very expensive even accepting that Garden Centre prices are usually over inflated. I accept that there will be a mark up so the 3rd party sellers also get a fair cut but it really is a bit steep. The plant prices are probably what you would expect from a Garden Centre. Pity as it would provide a nice alternative to the other main coffee/eatery place in Iver which is the Costa in the high street.

What a dreadful place. It boasts that it’s one of the largest garden centres in UK. No surprises when the square footage is filled with tat pet toys, crap greeting cards and quantity over quality. Too few staff, with too many who know nothing about what they sell, let alone give a hoot about their customers. What a dreadful experience.

Flowerland has improved hugely Over the last couple of years. It's a pleasure to go to now. We had bad experiences in the café previously So had avoided but decided to give it another go. Glad we did. Staff are friendly and efficient. Good gluten free offerings. Coffee is very nice. We both had tuna jacket potatoes which were excellent and fresh followed by very good cake. Overall, really impressed and will go back again. Prices reasonable.

Visited Flowerland a couple of times, in December 2022 to place an order at the very helpful Maidstone Aquatics and again in January 2023 to collect the order. We had a coffee and snack at the friendly little café within the Centre. The coffee was not great and the cost of the snacks and beverages was very high. Not sure how these prices can be justified. The choice to use the café facilities is up to the visitor, of course, and it was quite pleasant to sit there. Flowerland is a huge Garden Centre offering a large array of merchandise. I would say it seems more expensive than most garden centres although these centres appear to be quite costly in general. The staff we encountered were welcoming and helpful.

We went here yesterday as hadn't been for a while and last time they were doing up the restaurant. All I an say is we won't be going again. What used to be a nice place to get good food and a fab roast has become a overpriced coffee shop, with cake that looks like it fell out of Iceland, feeble looking pasties and expensive drinks ( which most of them they didn't seem to have). The decor is very strange and I'm sure the huge straw light shades that dangle over the drinks prep areas aren't very healthy they look like they could shed very easily. On the pluss side there were plenty of plants but seemed more expensive than other garden centres I've been to.

The garden centre itself was fantastic and I highly recommend it to anybody! We spent hours (and a fortune) wondering round looking at all of the amazing quality plants and beautiful homeware. We stopped in the cafe for lunch and we’re not disappointed. We both had toasties - mine with gluten free bread which was fantastic. They couldn’t guarantee coeliac safe because of the environment but were sure to use fresh knives, chopping boards, gloves etc which was greatly appreciated and of no bother to them. The lady at the till even double checked my drink for me without me asking to make sure it was gluten free to be safe. Lots of cakes available including also some gluten free ones again. My friend had the biscoff cake which looked amazing and she raved about! I opted for fudge instead of cake but the options available for me did look lovely too. I’d say it’s fairly average prices for a garden centre cafe which are always slightly on the expensive side I would say. I paid around £9 for a toasted sandwich, canned drink and some fudge.

Understandable that prices have increased everywhere, but absolutely shocked and appalled that the price has doubled from £3.95 to £6.95 for a quiche with a splodge of salad with no longer any coleslaw or salad dressing , so less food for double the price! My first visit here with my 3yo midweek to do the Xmas walk through and we would have lunch in the cafe first. It was awful, I will definitely not visit again. Really confusing set up - there were two boards stating cost of a special deal but I couldn’t find any menus for anything else. Finally spotted an A4 size menu on the sandwich area counter top (which I’m sure didn’t state prices, but I was distracted trying to keep an eye on my 3 yo) and ordered a tuna melt panini. We lost our space in the queue twice whilst I was trying to look around for a menu. The Xmas lunch looked nice but was £12.95!!!!!! I think that’s pretty steep for a garden centre lunch. I asked what was included in the kids £4.49 meal deal and was told a half sandwich, drink and a jelly. There was hardly anything in the fridge (it was approx midday) other than drinks. I ordered a cheese half sandwich for my daughter at the sandwich counter then asked for a jelly - they checked out the back only to confirm there were none and I could have a piece of fruit instead. I looked where I was told the fruit was and there was none. I told the lady at the till not to worry about the meal deal and I’d just take the half sandwich and drink carton for my daughter’s meal. She looked a bit embarrassed and offered me something for my daughter’s meal which I accepted thinking it was little pack of biscuits - when we sat down, i saw it was a vegan fruit and nut energy bar?!?! Again, when we sat down, I saw I’d wrongly been charged for a kids meal deal and then again for my daughter’s carton drink - I couldn’t be bothered to raise it as a large queue had now formed. We then waited ages for our sandwiches to arrive. I overheard the lady sitting behind me had also waited ages for her panini (her mother had already finished her lunch) and the staff were very apologetic when they delivered it. Our sandwiches arrived after 20 mins, which is too long for a sandwich and also a midweek service, however the staff who brought it over were again apologetic. There seemed to by about 6 staff working in the cafe, so I have no idea why it was taking so long. A shame as I’d really hoped this would be a new place to visit for lunch.

Came with family for Santa’s arrival. Great. Garden centre excellent. That’s where our experience ended as we then went into the cafe! Ordered a main fish and chips £10.99 for our two children to share as their fish fingers are terrible. We asked for an extra plate and were advised by lady chef that there’s a charge for an extra plate!! What? It’s an empty plate and we already spent £50+ as a family on other food and drinks. She said she’d do it in this occasion, as if she was doing us a favour. Not isolated as heard another lady on other table who had apparently asked for a kids soup only to be told she’d be charged full price or have an espresso cups worth.

Showed up with friends, fancied a panini but was put off by red haired lady who was making a sandwich with her wavy long hair. She had no hairnet or hat on, there was also no apron or gloves being worn by the lady. It look liked she’d just rolled in off the streets in her own clothes. Whilst my friends and I queued for coffee and cake 3 times I observed her touching her head which made my decision to not have the panini justified. Totally disgusting!

The seats are so heavily stained it actually puts you off sitting down. Its horrible. Even though its empty in there i walk around trying to find a remotely clean seating for myself my mother and child to sit on. Shocking. They Used to do hot drinks and cake offers, not anymore. Don't offer you a tray even though they can see you have more than 2 hot drinks and children and elderly with you. Prices too expensive. Service is so ridiculously slow I could make the drink myself quicker. The gentleman that works in the kitchen doing the food is exceptional though. He comes out and looks after you, helps you and is so polite he should run that place! Customer service from him 10/10. Shame it isn't him that does it all. Staff could learn a lot from him. Had the cake in a mug and it was amazing! Should make those to take away too! There is nothing for children which is a shame because my children love coming here for the fishes etc.. the ice cream in the big freezer is so synthetic and rubbery it is not ice cream especially with an expiry date that long! The plants are lovely but the cafe has limite and uninspired food on offer. Vegan and Ceoliac people are not catered for and vegetarians are fine if they like eggs! I visited this place several years ago with friends and it was amazing, went in May this year and it's not the best. The menu showed 'vegetable stack' but ten minutes after the cafe opened it wasn't available (did they cook it at all I wonder?). The salad bar was limited - crayfish, eggs, potato salad, two pastas, cucumber, tomato and beetroot with lettuce - one is shown a price for large or small salad but since the plates are one size It's impossible to tell what's large or small. Obviously salad servers are not provided one has to use dessert spoons! Will i return - no. It seems to me they've lost focus overall - there used to be a vibrant craft area - now it's The Works.

We have been coming here for years but havn't been that much in the last couple of years. The carpark was almost overflowing and only a couple of parking spaces which was very surprising when we went in and found hardly anybody shopping. I actually commented that maybe its an overflow car park for Heathrow airport. Normally the entrance is easily accessible but on this occasion there were some private sellers and stalls blocking the walk way into the center. Later on when people were looking at goods it completley blocked the walkway. There are a lot more stalls and goods crowded into akward places, in all it was overbearing and crowded - although there didn't appear to be that many customers. We had a lovely roast here just before christmas so was looking forward to having lunch today. Husband had fish and chips which was served as he requested with fresh cooked broccoli along with salad - it looked lovely and fresh. I fancied the Chicken Kiev with new potatos and seasonal veg, I was looking forward to some new pots and veg - Well the Kiev was lovely, a fresh cooked breaded chicken breast with butter garlic and herbs, alongside what I can only describe as greasy potatoes and greasy french beans cooked with sliced red onion.? The potatoes and beans had been sute'd in - I think butter - but it was just a disgusting greasy mess they were so greasy and looked awfull. I wrapped some beans in a servette and tried to soak up some of the fat. I honestly can't imagine who thought that more grease should be added to the chicken kiev. When I cut it open it was full of melted butter which would normaly be lovely but I would imagine that in all my plate was swimming in more that 2 tablespoons of butter. I soaked up most of it with tissues but could only eat some potatoes and the Kiev. I just can't understand why cooked potatoes and a lovely fresh salad or plain cooked veg were served alongside a homemade fresh breaded chicken breast.

Well first of all everything we wanted to order wasn’t available, it was quite late so we thought never mind and chose something available. Sat down and and the food came over in minutes which is always a worry for me. We ordered sausage sandwiches. They had no butter in them and the sausages were cold and pink. My mum took them straight back and the staff said they’d be cooked and sitting there all day so they’re fine!! Definitely not seeing as there were flies absolutely everywhere. We asked for them to be replaced with a cheese and ham toastie and we ended up with cheese and tomato absolutely dripping with cheese. More cheese than bread to be honest, all you could see was the grease soaking through the bread!! Not acceptable for £5.99 per sandwich. I refused to pay for one of the sandwiches but to honest I shouldn’t have paid for any of it and wish I hadn’t. There are many bad reviews about this place but we love it. Regarding the food I can only assume people arrive late & expect a fantastic array of food, people must remember if food has been sitting under lights for ages it will be dried out a bit & also rather than come home & write a bad review why not actually say at the restaurant where I'm sure the staff will be only to happy to help you. We go regularly, we arrive early, get a nice table & the food has always been delicious. As for food taking a long time to come that's because someone goes away & prepares it for you i.e teacakes which have to be prepared as & when ordered. Don't be put off by reviews here - go along, go early, enjoy the food & remember it is a garden centre café, not a City of London restaurant. We are going again today for our Sunday roast, buy some plants & wonder around all the different items all under one roof. Brilliant.

What a joke of a cafe. No sausage no bacon no this no that so go to opt for a salad thinking they may actually have a piece of lettuce a tomato and maybe at a push cucumber guess what they didn’t this is the second time we’ve had such awful service last time waited 30 minutes for 2 jacket potato’s to only one turning up and they said they only had enough for one! If it wasn’t for Maidenhead aquatics I wouldn’t bother coming. What a joke

We were looking forward to our first visit to the Flowerland Iver restaurant for the Sunday roast only to be served the worst overlooked hard roast beef we have ever had. We will not be returning. This is to be avoided at all cost.

My wife and I loved the Garden Centre and the Cafe also looked stylish and spacious. We ordered two sandwiches and two coffees...the bill was £17. The sandwiches were just cheap white or brown thin sliced bread with a joke of a garnish on the same plate...a cucumber slice, cherry tomato half, a small spoon of grated carrot and a couple of leaves. The sandwich and excuse for a garnish was £5.99..which made up £12 of our bill. (in fact all sandwiches were the same price and considered light bites). My sandwich was grated cheese and grated onion. My wife asked for prawn mayonnaise and got her sandwich minus the mayonnaise! Yesterday we were at a stately home

Popped in here to buy some plants. Had to look hard and still found very little of worth. Had a tea and toasted tea cake in restaurant. The service was dreadful. It took 20 minutes to produce a tea cake although only two other customers in queue. The tea cake was brown and cold. It had been left on the side and forgotten.

We’ve visited several times in the last few months. The refurbishment is great - very different! The garden centre is good with a large number of concessions. My main disappointment is that the only decaff coffee is from a tin. Service is OK-ish during the week but painfully slow at the weekend. The service seems worse around 11.30am when the staff all seem to be more concerned with the change from breakfast to lunches than serving customers. They are mostly pleasant but badly in need of organisation. It really is a shame because the seating areas are so different to the usual garden centre restaurants and really makes us want to eat and drink there, but with the level of service as it is there’s a limit to the number of times we’ll be prepared to queue up for a cup of instant coffee!

We visited this for the Sunday lunchtime carvery. The pork and beef were OK. The vegetables were only warm and several choices had run out and there didn't seem to be any chance of them being replenished in the near future. There was only one choice for pudding and it didn't look very appertizing. There were no diet drinks available.

I came to visit for lunch with my Mum. My first impression wasn't good. I witnessed, who I would think is either the owner for manager, giving a member of staff a talking to (politely put) on the shop floor. It made me feel quite uneasy. Whether the girl deserved it or not, the shop floor is not the place and looked very unprofessional.Apart from that, the food was nice and a reasonable price. The staff were lovely and very helpful. There's a great selection of clothes as well as garden goods. I found some of the garden ornaments were a little pricey compared to Longacres.

Love this place. Massive variety of things to browse at. Anything from clothes, toys, gardening equipment, jams jellies, biscuits, dog chews to name but a few. I buy pet chews here and frozen dog food always very reasonable price and competitive with pet stores pricing.Would highly recommend a visit, huge car park, even a car washing service if you want. Ever board pop there for a mosey.

Went to the restaurant to sample its new offerings and purchased a burger and chips meal. Excellent quality and a good sized portion of food, well worth the money spent. The new decor adds a contemporary trendy feel to the restaurant. It is a great place to go for some lunch or for a quick slice of cake and a tea of coffee.

The café in Flowerland has recently rejuvenated itself into a rather impressive restaurant with a modernisation that now boasts superb woodland murals, comfy seating and a much larger dining area. The drab and dated venue is now transformed beyond recognition and this is excellent to see, as the venue is really decent. The restaurant has plenty of seating, offers wholesome, hearty meals and stocks a range of drinks. The menu range is limited to all the saleable classics and portion sizes are very generous and the meals are certainly very good value for the money. The chandeliers and wood-worked branch décor, exposed bulb lights and sheepskin soft furnishings etc add such a comfortability to the dining surroundings. The restaurant is close to the outdoor space and the internal garden centre homewares-which is convenient. Check this place out! It's rejuvenation is impressive. Customer service remains always pleasant and friendly.

This is a popular cafe and garden centre. When we called for lunch today the place was crowded despite being somewhat off the beaten track. Lunch was good and reasonably priced and portions were generous. Staff were pleasant and helpful and there was a relaxed atmosphere. The garden centre itself is quite large and offered an amazing range of products. Allow plenty of time if you want to have a good look round.

We did not have a dog problem, certainly not garden and open area. Can understand pets in eating area rule. There was no sight up.This is worth a visit even if you are just in the area for a coffee and a cake. There is a traditional butcher section with a lot of local produce, the aquatics, the pets foods, kids area, interesting displays obviously set up with some care, quality clothing, not just garden, household designer items and a lot more. All under what can best be described as a huge set of agricultural glass houses, which it probably once was. Bit hard to find and not so obvious entrance so look for the Flowerland logo end of the lane.

Firstly, I never leave reviews. Ever. But this has angered me so much I thought the need to.I visited Iver Flowerland with my dog in tow to purchase some dog food & fish food which was fine, I can't knock the aquatics team or staff at the exit check outs this review is not aimed at them. However, after buying my items I thought maybe I'd go sit down and have a cup of tea in the cafe. Wrong. I was completely unaware that dogs were not allowed within the cafe as my dog trotted in. I then had an abrupt run in with the lady working in the kitchen who sternly snapped "no dogs in the restaurant put it outside". To which I responded "sorry I did not realise" then started to tie his lead outside where he could still see me if I went in. But as I was doing so the lady then proceeded to loudly discuss it with her colleagues whilst I was still literally in the door, making remarks about me to them whilst they laughed. Ok... I get it, I wrongly brought my dog in and was completely unaware but I apologised for doing so. But the fact that she felt the need to make her anger so known and in laughing about it with her colleagues made me feel well... like crap basically. Saying "well there's a bloody sign on the door" among other things she was muttering away. I think this was rude and unnecessary. I also looked for a clear sign that said no dogs and unless I've clearly missed it, I could not see one. I did not proceed and buy anything from the cafe, I grabbed my dog and left being made to feel like this. I know it's Monday morning but this woman seriously needs to think about the way she speaks to people, or at least remember the person she is verbally bashing with her colleagues is actually still there. Next time love, get up on the right side of the bed.

A lovely local english pub! Great access for parking. Outdoor seating is plenty and very comfortable. Playground for the 7+yo kiddies, and chickens for the younger kids. Food was absolutely delicious, and super quick! Service was attentive and friendly. A plate we ordered was forgotten, and they swiftly arranged it and took the cost off the bill! I recommend the Palmer Ale!

Visited on a Monday evening. It was pretty quiet. In some pubs this is a recipe for ropey beer as what's in the pumps is stale and nasty but not here. Drank two pints of London Pride as good as any I've had. We ate too - the sandwiches and wraps were fine. Not sure a Frenchman would recognise the baguette but the long bap served up was tasty enough. All told, a good visit. (Update) Visited on a wet Thursday evening. The pub was busy but not full. We were seated easily. The beer was still good (Doom Bar this time). My companions reported that their sandwiches and wraps were great. I had a pizza, which was massive and delicious. Update: Visited for Sunday lunch. Beef and Pork roast dinners excellent. Our friends had sandwiches which were also praised, as were the chips. Drinks and service great. Can still recommend.
