Pick up fish and chips at pathfinder village they were disgusting threw straight into the bin vile the servers must have blind to serve this rubbish

Flippy Chippy were booked to feed 40 friends and family at the wedding event of my son Aaron & Maisie. This was the night before the wedding at Glebe House whilst we stayed in their onsite cottages. The food was outstanding, they could not have been anymore accommodation to everyones needs and wishes if they tried. Gluten free available, food cooked the way anyone wanted and a vast voice too. The chips were the best I have ever had from a mobile caterer, chunky - crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside. I would say they were better than most fish and chip shops and some restaurants I have eaten at over the years. Choices of different sausages, battered or plain - Pork, Wild Boar and spicy ones… Chicken burgers, Beef burgers, chicken nuggets and all…. Would definitely use again.

Richard and Owen from Flippy Chippy catered for my daughter's wedding. They were great! They were recommended to us for being punctual and reliable and they were. The food was really good, great chips, lots of choice, and they catered for our vegan, Vegetarian and gluten free guests. Everyone very impressed and loved the food. Richard and Owen were friendly, funny and respectful and just really lovely. I would thoroughly recommend.

never have I written a bad review until today.... food was quick & staff were friendly however the food is cooked in dirty cooking oil , you can honestly taste the oil on everything . my partner being 35 weeks pregnant was violently sick... I wouldn't touch this catering unit again being honest. its a shame as the reviews elsewhere were positive prior my visit ... other than that the portion sizes were massive

We had compliments all night from our guests saying how much they enjoyed their fish and chips! - Very reasonably priced - Super tasty - Richard made the process very simple Happy guests = happy couple. NB - the spicy sausage is VERY spicy.

Absolutely brilliant. Nothing was too much trouble. Happy to stay later than planned at the event until everyone had arrived and got their fish and chips (not to forget the spicy sausages)

Attended a wedding, where the fish & chip van brought us a pre- wedding supper. Superb fresh fish and chips and the chaps were really friendly. Superb spicy sausage! Would thoroughly recommend as a wedding or special event catering idea. Or just great fish & chips.

Flippy Chippy provided the evening meal on Friday evening of our Nephews wedding weekend. It was fabulous. All freshly cooked and served with a smile and funny banter. Can highly recommend them.

We booked Flippy Chippy for evening catering for our wedding. We paid a £50 deposit direct to his personal account and have never received an invoice or receipt. We agreed a price per person and he asked for cash on the night. He overcharged us by £50 and my husband didn't realise when he paid, he also gave him a £30 tip. I realised he had overcharge and spoke to him. He has been poorly so we have been patient and understanding. He asked for my bank details for a refund but after another 6 weeks have past and he still hasn't refunded the money or replied to my messages. So not only has he overcharged us but we paid him a tip when he didn't deserve one!

Amazing value, great food, great portion sizes - everyone loved it and said it was brilliant. Just don’t be tempted by the spicy sausage!

Food from flippy chippy was amazing all our guest at the wedding also commented on how tasty the food was with great service from Richard and his team very good value for money. After having had some food from Richard and his crew at another venue, we booked them to cater for our dog show yesterday. Turned up punctually and catered fantastically - very friendly, food cooked fresh and prices very reasonable. Have already booked them again for our next one.

I booked Flippy Chippy for my party last night near Tiverton. Richard was very prompt & a nice man to deal with throughout. The service was fantastic! The food was delicious! Great sausages, fish, scampi & chips-all yummy! The portion size was excellent. I could not believe the size of the fish. It was all absolutely delicious. Great value for money. Thanks!! Great food my daughter and partner have food every Monday and have always had quality food. Great portion sizes, i on occasions have had a piece of fish and it is always too much for me so can definitely vouch for the portion sizes

Had flippy last night . The bad reviews are justified.”treated” the family to alleged fish and chips last night and 70% of it ended in the bin . Even the dog turned it down .bullet like chips ,followed by a brown coloured fish like substance which was simply appalling.Like previous reviews,didn’t take it back as there was happy holiday makers queuing,and being a fair distance from sidmouth it would have been unfair to have made a scene .This is the second time I’ve risked this chip van and it will be the last.

I'm very thankful for Flippy Chippy feeding the troops at the Honiton park and ride test centre, the fish was very well cooked and the chips are fryed to a crisp, while not being greasy.They also sport a good selection of foods from sausages (batted or not) & chips to haddock and cod in good portion, they even offer vegetarian burgers and more traditional burgers for those who aren't into fish.All in all a very good fish n chips van at good price point, would order again.

Estábamos ansiosos por comer pescado y papas fritas durante las vacaciones, ya que la camioneta visita el campamento donde nos hospedamos. Fui el primero en pedir dos lotes de bacalao y papas fritas y una olla de guisantes blandos y los llevé a nuestra caravana. Estábamos completamente disgustados al encontrar chips de sabor extraño, la masa era espesa, dura y llena de grasa y no era comestible. El pescado ciertamente no era bacalao, pero no me dijeron al momento de ordenar, y definitivamente pedí bacalao, esto también era asqueroso. Los guisantes blandos, bueno, ¿qué puedo decir? Esta era una olla de sopa verde con trocitos y no tenía sabor. Ni siquiera mi perro se comería nada de eso. Sí, debería haberlo devuelto todo y pedirme que me devolviera el dinero, pero mi esposo no quería que lo hiciera, ya que había personas en la camioneta esperando ser atendidas y no quería sentirse avergonzado. Tal vez fue solo lo nuestro lo que fue desagradable, ¡pero tengo la sensación de que no somos los únicos que estamos muy decepcionados! !

Massive let down a couple of days before a wedding via a text message! Very unprofessional and since found out they do this a lot and have even taken deposits. Wouldn’t recommend at all!!

Usé Flippy Chippy para un evento y la comida era excelente, recién hecha y muy sabrosa. Todas las comidas se unieron y todo llegó a tiempo. Gran servicio. También hemos usado Flippy Chippy cuando viene al pueblo y nuevamente buena comida y buena relación calidad-precio.

Pensé en probar esta furgoneta ya que estaba visitando un pueblo local. Chap estaba muy conversador y obviamente lo había estado haciendo durante un tiempo, podía oler el olor a "aceite viejo", pero ordenó de todos modos, algunos lugareños vinieron y dijeron que los anteriores que habían ordenado habían sido muy buenos. . . . . Solo puedo pensar que fue un mal día para nosotros. . . . las papas estaban frías y duras, el pescado (¿no el bacalao, coley?) en realidad estaba a punto de estar fuera y olía repugnante, la masa era muy marrón oscuro y olía a aceite viejo, la salchicha era dura y fría - Pre cocinado y dando vueltas?Mi compañero había comentado que el pescado estaba afuera de cualquier refrigerador en un cubo en el costado y él lo recogió antes de cocinar. . .Tuvo que tirarlo a la basura y se fue a otro chippy. . . .

Reservé a Flippy Chippy para una fiesta de cumpleaños, llegó cuando dijo que se prepararía sin problemas y alimentó a nuestros invitados. Me impresionó que él cocinara pescado fresco y también atendía otras necesidades dentro de nuestro precio reservado previamente.Buen valor para el dinero.

No estoy seguro de si atrapé a Flippy Chippy en un mal día, pero los Fish and Chips eran muy pobres. El Batter estaba muy pasada y por lo tanto no disfruté mucho la comida. Obtienes porciones grandes y el precio es muy razonable, pero personalmente pagaría un poco más y tendría un poco menos por comida de mejor calidad.

The Flippy Chippy van stops where we live on a Monday so we've had fish and chips from them a few times now, it's great value, the quality of the food has always been excellent and the portion sizes are generous.

Sadly Flippy Chippy couldn't find us even with directions given on phone. Didn't bother to phone again to clarify and opted instead to go on to second booking of evening. Very unprofessional and we were left with 40 guests to feed.

We booked the Flippy Chippy for a club celebration. All the arrangements worked very well, with good communication from Richard. He arrived on the dot and served over 50 meals in around 20 minutes. Good helpings and very tasty !

This is one of the best fish and chips I have ever tasted. Good portions of thick, white delicious fish with excellent chips. Would thoroughly recommend.

I'm a regular to flippy chippy, usually have food off him on a Monday or Tuesday. Absolutely delicious large bit of fish, value for money and large portions. Will recommend to anyone

Ok, few weeks ago had the most delicious piece of cod and chips and I though great they finally got their act together :-). Today? Awful. And that's the problem we have always had with Flippy Chippy. Just never know what the quality is going to be. Sets you wondering if the fish is past sell by? In my opinion it must be way past. Didn't taste of fish, didn't smell like fish? Looked unpalatable. After one bite it went in the dustbin. I am guessing the last time I spent money here I must have been lucky?

We're getting married very soon, so we've seen lots of positive reviews from other couples on various web sites who have used them for their big day. Seeing how they set up just over the road from us on a Tuesday evening, we figured it would be worth trying them out. Flippy Chippy are certainly well priced, and they turned around our order of two cod and chips very quickly. However, when we got home it was really disappointing. The chips were cold and dry: It's a two minute walk so suggests that they'd been cooked quite a while ago. The cod wasn't cod. The flesh was grey, dark grey, and the skin was a dark grey. Difficult to tell what it was in the batter, most likely coley or grey pollock, but it certainly wasn't cod (firm white flesh, green/gold fleckled skin) or a mistakenly cooked piece of haddock (distinctive line down the centre of the skin). Won't be back.

Just had Flippy Chippy fish and chips at a wedding and it was great! We were the final table to be served after 140 other guests, yet it was fresh, crispy and delicious!

Very good chips, they came to us by prior arrangement as we were a large group of 50 and had a good experience. When it for a pre-arranged group the cost is £5 per meal no matter what you order.They were well cooked and not greasy like some others, good portion size too.

Have used the Flippy Chippy on numerous occasions and have always had excellent freshly cooked fish and chips. The portion sizes are huge and excellent value for money. Well worth tracking down the Flippy Chippy you won't be disappointed.

Tried the flippy chippy wagon out at cranbrook for the first time today and what can I say except wow wow wow. That was the best fish and chips I have had for a long long time.If you have not, you must try them honestly they are great.

After all where did Harry Ramsden come from?Well sorry folks you couldn’t have got it more wrong, keep Harry Ramsden for the motorway services. ‘Flippy Chippy’ is awesome. The portion sizes are quite staggering. The fish fillets are succulent and huge (seeing is believing!), with a wonderful light crispy batter. The chips are really tasty and again a good portion size.If you want the best Fish n’ chips in Exeter then track them down and remind yourself of why this was one of Britain’s greatest dishes. They deliver a consistently great product and service. I wouldn’t go anywhere else, as this has become my bench mark.
