My partner and I have been going to flint around once a month since we’ve discovered it! The best pizza in Newcastle. Staff are amazing and the pizza is even better. They have pizza specials that are dependent on what’s in season, and they are unreal!

We got takeaway from this place on a Friday night as I arrived by train from London visiting my friend for the weekend who lives just 10 mins away. My friend has tried this place many times and mentioned how high-quality their pizzas are so naturally I had high expectations. We ordered online for collection service the day prior and went with the Sopressata which was salami and hit honey with cheese and tomato sauce base. We had to wait 10 mins when we got to the restaurant to pick up order as they were making them right on the spot and it's so nice to see them making it in front of you and how they bake in the oven. The restaurant itself was a small one with limited seats but the vibes seemed really lovely. The pizza itself was absolutely delicious, I love the thick crust which is my absolute personal preference. Toppings were great, loved the hot honey to up the flavour profile and it's so moreish. Staff members at the restaurant were all friendly and nice, would definitely like to go back and have it in the restaurant next time!

Amazingly delicious pizza. Tasted each others, 3 different ones mushroom & leek, cavolo Nero & Gorgonzola and maranara. All insanely good. All had a variety of specialist cheese etc. Dough fabulous and puffy, blackened etc. Light years ahead of the likes of Pizza Express in terms of quality, flavour and looks. Well worth any wait to be seated.

Spent 2 years finding the right pizza place in Italy and found it was actually in my home town of Newcastle. Be proud and Well done Flint. Ben and his staff have been a fantastic host.

This is an excellent spot for Napoli style pizza. The kale caesar and the burrata starters were also delicious. I really enjoy coming here after a long day at work for a treat. I appreciate the simple menu and accessibility of the restaurant.

A ridiculously long wait for a really great pizza. We waited for almost two hours from the moment we got in the queue to the food actually arriving, on a Wednesday night. The pizza chef looked like he wasn’t in a big rush to make those pizzas any faster but tbh one of the best pizzas we’ve ever had. Probably better to get takeaway than sit in.

AMAZING! If u live around Byker this is the place u should go to . I had pizza with salami picante and fior si latte mozzarela and hot honey and I have say it was fingers licking good. Only reason a give 4 star is that dought was soft and I like crunchy edges but it's my personal preference.

The review was really good, so we decided to order Margherita as we were passing through Heaton. The pizza was slimy, wet and had no depth. Sorted us a table at the bar last minute, pizza was fantastic, staff lovely. Fennel sausage was definitely the highlight. Cocktails could maybe use proper ice and a tweak.

Paid for the pizza online, was given a time allocation. The pizza chef was friendly, and the pizza was possibly the best I've ever had - could be better than my own.... Without a doubt the best pizza in Newcastle 🙌 the fermented chilli aioli is on another level and converted a non crust dipper such as myself.

My favourite pizza in Newcastle, if not the world. It's made it very hard to enjoy any pizza other than Flint because nothing else quite matches up. Simple and fresh with top quality ingredients. My favourite is #5 mushroom and if it's on the menu, you must get the Crispy Chilli Aoili for the crusts - it's insanely good.

Amazing staff and quality pizzas. We can't praise the service or the food enough even while operating on a cold, rainy, miserable tier 3 lockdown Thursday night. We were served straight away and nothing was too much trouble. The staff spent time going through the menu and offering advice on our choices. It means a lot when you are treated with that personal, good old fashioned customer service even when you are not seated inside as the typical restaurant goer. Amazing and innovative sprout pizza, a first for us, was just amazing while the sausage and fennel pizza is always a winner. We can't wait to be sat at your bar again guys but turning our takeaway into a special occasion to be remembered is priceless. We recommend Flint for the best pizza taste and experience you'll find, even in the rain!

My partner, my housemate and I ordered Flint Pizza on Saturday night and I genuinely think it was the best pizza I have ever had! Absolutely amazing. My partner had the no.5 which is the butternut squash cream and honestly I have never tasted something so amazing!!! Very nice pizzas, and staff are very friendly and welcoming. Obviously it's a tiny place and it's not easy to get seated. If only they had a larger unit I could see their business really taking off. Absolutely gorgeous! Not much more I can say. The pizza is the best we’ve had in Newcastle by far. The base is soft yet crisp and the tomato sauce is smooth, sweet and tasty.

This place is incredible. I visited with two Italian friends who are notoriously hard to please when it comes to Italian food and they both loved it too!The pizzas speak for themselves but what really makes this place special is the super friendly staff. The BEST pizza in the world!!!! Genuinely couldn’t love this place more, the pizza is bloody fantastic with the most incredible toppings and the perfect crusts. The garlic dip is an absolute must. Had a fantastic meal at Flint last night. One of the best pizzas I have ever eaten. The decor and the ambiance of this place is top draw. If you live or are travelling to Newcastle this little gem is worth travelling for.

Another visit tonight, a short wait, they became very busy, sat at barstools, drinks, starter and pizzas! Lovely gem of a place, pity it wasn’t a bit bigger, but then charm and appeal may then be lost!

Caught them on an off night after the holidays where unfortunately the yeast had died off so the pizza was a no go. Staff were very apologetic and did everything possible to please despite the set back The staff were wonderfully acommodating and were nice enough to provide a selection of starters on the house, everything served was a delight. Would definitely recommend this place on the starters and service alone, we'll be back again soon to sample the main courses!
