Best Sunday dinner I have had out, absolutely delicious. Everything was cooked to perfection. Amazing Yorkshire pudding. Service outstanding so friendly.

Bustling place on the Waterfront. I stopped for a coffee and pastry on a Sunday morning on the last day of walking Hadrians Wall. The welcome wasn't warm (unhappy I hadn't booked and then said I only had a table for a limited time), but after that the service was good and the coffee and pastry first rate.

Excellent taste and relaxing atmosphere. Service staff were friendly and helpful. Ordered Pollo Funghi and it was awesome. Interestingly, chicken served in the restaurant was halal. However, I would recommend to check with staff first.

Fantastic Sicilian cafe/restaurant. The food was delicious, with the mussel and asparagus risotto being especially nice, and everything was served quickly with friendly service. Would highly recommend and will definitely be coming back.

We had a wonderful Sunday dinner at LIOSI's today—the food was absolutely delicious! The Sunday beef and porchetta were highlights, and the Napoli [kid likes it ]. Just one tiny note: the Yorkshire pudding had a stronger egg taste than usual, which slightly stood out. But overall, everything was fantastic, and we’ll definitely be back! Thanks to the team for great service. 😊

Stop here after walking the dogs at weekend during the summer. Sut outside with coffee and a snack. The coffee is one of the best in newcastle. Been once for breakfast and found it to be very good

Seriously, this place is a gem of a find. Early on my hadrian wall walk East to west and stopped here for a coffee and breakfast. Place was busy with locals, which is always a good sign, staff were superb and I was soon tucking into their english breakfast and latte. Cooked to perfection. 10 out of 10 and reasonably priced. If i lived nearby I would be a regular.

Absolutely fantastic! Lovely welcoming place with superb staff who go above and beyond to make your time there special. We attended with friends and four dogs, they are very dog friendly and there is fresh water available on entry for the dogs. Love this place, it never disappoints, I cannot understand any reviews less than 5 STAR!

Upon arrival with my dog, I was given dirty looks from staff and customers despite the DOG FRIENDLY sign out front. My dogs are extremely friendly, doesn’t bark and on a short leash. Atleast they let him drink some water. Wouldn’t recommend this place if you’re taking your dog along the queyside.

What a brilliant find. Everything about this little gem was great- the food, the coffee and especially the service. An added bonus is the outside tables - if it’s a nice day there’s a lovely view of the river. Outstanding.

Went for Sunday lunch and food was nice and staff very friendly, plenty of seating inside and restaurant was busy so would advise to book in advance, nice seating area outside overlooking river.

A beautiful place located in a very quiet area. If the weather is nice, it's the perfect spot to take a stroll along the River Tyne promenade after a hearty breakfast. I highly recommend it!

Good was ok, the chicken I had was a little hard in the coronation chicken bap. Always friendly staff and very busy, looks like a popular place.

I have a great and amazing exeperience when I had my breakfast here on saturday morning. My breakfast roll was delicious, and the coffe is a top quality. Staff was really helpfull exepecially the sardinian woman and the polish woman, they was really warm, cosy and friendly with me. I will recomend this place to every friend is going in Newcastle.

It's best to book a table as this is a very popular cafe. The welcome is great and the food is tasty with great service. Always a good experience.

Arrived without booking waited 5 mins to sort out a table, staff were friendly service was very good. Good menu plenty of choice the pizza was good, lovely coffee. Enjoyed our visit will be back 😀

The place is an institution. In the summer sit outside under the parasol and watch the Tyne shimmer while having a great Italian food.

Stumbled upon this place when car shopping nearby. What a find. Didn't plan on having a Sunday roast but had the porcetta. One of the best roasts I've had out in a long time. So happy we found this place. Will definitely be making the trip across the river again soon

I have to say, we go here just about every other week. My husband is Italian and therefore (in my humble opinion) he is a coffee, icecream and pizza snob! He is refuses to eat anywhere that 'pretends to be Italian ', so he's very happy here! Aside from that raving endorsement, I have to say that for me, I love the warm welcome and cheerful banter we always get when we visit. It really is the staff that make the whole place and we love to see everyone when we pop in. The food, of course, always lives up to expectation. Whether it's a breakfast with delicious bacon and gorgeous Italian bread, or lunch - from perfectly prepared pizza to a range of authentic Italian dishes, there is nothing on the menu that disappoints. The tiramasu is my special favourite 😍 I particularly love the international buzz and inclusive atmosphere here - there are a dozen different languages being spoken all at once and people visit in their travels from all over the world. The location is unusual, being out of the city centre (there is another right in the city of Newcastle) but this place gives you a lovely view of the river and the location also means you can walk off all that fine Italian food by taking a stroll along the Quay.

This place is cosy, local and in a great location on the waterfront, many people are not aware of it. Pizzas are good (not authentic italian), but good, as well as the Cannoli and coffee. Staff are friendly and service is very quick

Gorgeous cafe bar situated on Newcastle quayside near the business park. There's everything to like about this place - the service was great and the food top notch! I had a hazelnut mousse ball for dessert (that's not what it's called but that's what it was) and I think it's the best dessert I've ever had! I'd highly recommend that and the pasta ariabatta! They do a lovely mocha too if you fancy a take out! Check the place out - you'll not be disappointed.

We loved our experience at Liosi’s Sicilian Cafe Bar 🥪 🚤 Just by the River Tyne, it makes for a perfect location for a cuppa, lovely pastries, and amazing Sandwiches! There were so many patrons coming just for sandwich takeaways - a testament to how good it is. We ordered a vegetarian panini - delicious 🔥 no frills - well made. We also had a lovely Penne Arrabiata - spicy and rich. This is a dog friendly location. Definitely recommended, especially if you’re looking for chill cafe vibes facing the river 😃

Such a great place. Been 3 times now The food taste great full of flavour and quality and the service is excellent. Probably the best Sunday lunch I've had out to eat. Love the beer options and the desserts.

Visited for the first time today after a friend recommended it to us. Staff were very friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable of their menu. We sat outside, and it was lovely. My husband said the meatball sandwich was the best he had eaten. All our food was fantastic.

What an amazing place this is. Only popped in very early for a coffee while my windscreen was being replaced. Very popular place for breakfasts, great atmosphere and the smells coming from the kitchen were amazing. Will definitely be back for more.

What a gem of a place. We’ve just returns from a lovely evening catching up with friends and eating delicious Italian food. The service is excellent food amazing and we can’t wait to go back. No photos of the food unfortunately as we couldn’t wait to tuck in. The bruschetta I had and calamari my partner had were done just right and the pasta dishes so tasty. I highly recommend this place.

It's our go to place for Sunday lunch, the food is excellent and the staff are lovely, it's like going to a relatives house for lunch. It's usually busy but there's a great vibe, we like it there...back soon! Brian and Avril

Went here for a sandwich ended up having a fabulous Sunday lunch. The raspberry pavlova was one of the best I’ve had in years. Highly recommended and will be returning with other family and friends soon.

My best cafe in Newcastle with good Italian coffee. Very quite area with a beautiful river view. There are free parking available as well.

Love this place, we pop in every weekend and once or twice during the week for coffee, only sampled a few items from.the menu, but everything is spot on, great staff, very friendly, great service and a great atmosphere. It's like being on holiday while at home.

If you've walked from the quayside to here you deserve to stop and have a coffee on the terrace with views over the river,nice coffee and a relaxed vibe ,before turning back to walk past most of the 7 bridges over the Tyne.....
