1st class service! All the food was absolutely lovely! Great presentation and amazing flours. Lovely staff highly recommend. We had lunch at the Garlinge restaurant.

Wonderful food service excellent

Ordered takeaway from here for the first time. The keema nan was delicious, my favourite part of the meal. The chicken curry was nice too, great flavours in the sauce, could be spicier. Crispy okra was also tasty. I was excited about the lamb biriyani but the entire dish just tasted like cardamom which ruined it for me. It dominated the whole dish. Popadoms and the complimentary soup were lovely.

First takeaway from here. Could have been a bit hotter in temperature and spice but that was ok. The portions were very large! There was loads of delicious tender meat in the main meals. Great food. Complimentary popadom, dips and soup, thank you. We will be back!

First time visit and we’ll definitely be back. Great service. Food was unique with so many flavours. My husband loves all the hot spices and he was very impressed. I’m not keen on the heat, but I enjoyed the clever use of the spices. The chicken was gorgeous.

Very disappointed, prawns were chewy so overcooked , spinach was grey and over cooked , raita was curdled and too spicy ( this should cool the meal) Nan was not as expected … no fruit or nuts? We ordered a vegetable curry that did not come and instead two bland orders of rice which were not ordered ….very disappointed

I don't know what is going wrong at the Margate branch but the Ramsgate branch is twice as good. Thankfully we can get delivery from the Ramsgate branch when this one is closed.

Tried this out as already eaten a few times at their Ramsgate place and this is much nearer to us. TBH I preferred the decor etc in this one too and the menu is the same. It was great to see other tables occupied on a Thursday evening as this added to the atmosphere

This was a lovely gem to find. The staff were so polite and friendly and whilst I ordered my chicken chetinaad for take away I was given a small lentil soup whilst I waited. The food was gorgeous and they live up to their name with flavours, definitely full of flavour! And again was surprised by the additional pomperdoms and sauces. Amazing service and gone that little extra mile to make my experience a memorable one. Will definitely be visiting again. Thank you Flavour by Kumar.

Starters were fantastic that's why I gave them 4*otherwise it will be 3* Service was OK but not much atmosphere. It's basically come and eat quickly and go.

Don’t recommend it to anyone. Just ordered it in the Uber ears and it doesn’t taste good. The food was hot but the taste is not good.

Generous portions of first class food, with excellent service by friendly and helpful staff. Also had the unexpected and pleasant surprise of complementary tasters between course.

An absolutely fantastic place for proper Indian food! The food here is fresh, flavoursome and authentic. My personal favourite starters are the Chicken 65, Masala Dosa, Chilli Chicken and the Lamb Sheekh kebab. My favourite mains are the Tandoori Chicken and the Chicken Makhani. The staff are very attentive and polite, the perfect customer service in all honesty. Great food, value, service and venue. Keep up the good work and thanks again!

Most amazing food I had after a long time.

Absolutely love this place! I really recommend this restaurant if you are looking for tasty fresh Indian food, a great dining experience and wonderful service! The staff go above and beyond with their hospitality, and they remembered me from last time asking for dairy free dishes (which they have plenty of.) If you are looking for dairy free dishes I recommend the fish amritsari for starters and the chicken chettinand for the main, and they do a lovely orange sorbet for pudding. Overall great food, service and atmosphere and will definitely be back! Thank you 😊

Me and my husband got a take away from here last night and it was disgusting. The poppadoms where stale and the food was just hard chewy meat in sauce. The naan bread was soggy and not cooked.i phoned to complain and was told a manager would call me but this didn't happened. I will not be ordering from here again over £40 spent and what a waist of money . Don't bother .

Modern Indian cuisine, nicely decorated modern surroundings. Friendly welcome, a good range of Indian food, from many different regions, with a modern twist. Very tasty and flavoursome, without being too overbearing or hot. A nice amuse bouche to start, and a very tasty lentil dahl palette cleanser between courses. Great service and reasonable prices for quality food.

I had an amazing experience at Flavours by Kumar! The ambience was very nice with Hindi music playing in the background, adding to the overall dining experience. To start, the chef gave us complimentary "Dahi Puchka" which was absolutely delicious. We ordered the combo platter with four starters: Masala Dosa, Chicken Chilli, Fried Paneer and Tikki. My wife loved the Tikki and I couldn't get enough of the Masala Dosa. The cost was worth it for the quality and taste of the food. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone in the area, it's a must-visit!

Brilliant food & great service. Considering the quality of both food and service you receive, it's very reasonably priced & always includes free extras that make the meal that little bit more special. We've both dined in & had takeaway from here and neither have ever disappointed.

Where do I even begin? An absolutely delightful restaurant. I had the fortune to be staying at a nearby hotel on a work trip and discovered Flavours quite by chance, but it has been one of my favourite restaurant experiences to date! Staff were very friendly, menu was exceptional value for money, and the food itself is as close to magic as it comes. Each dish was presented beautifully and tasted incredible. Would recommend to anyone and everyone. Thank you very much to the staff and chef!

First visit & really enjoyed it. Thursday lunchtime so not very busy. Service was excellent. Food was really lovely with some surprise complimentary amouse bouches between courses. Lunchtime deal for 2 or 3 courses is very good value.

We had a wonderful experience eating in here tonight! The food was exceptional and the service was too. The meat eaters were very pleased with their food. I'm vegan and loved my food too. They were super helpful in terms of showing me all the meals on the menu which are already vegan (about 5 starters, ~8 mains and the roti), plus the ones that could be made vegan. There was a great selection. Overall it was a great experience and we will definitely be back. Thank you!

Best Indian food in Margate (coming from an Indian family!). Beautiful food packed with flavour. Very generous portions for the price and lovely staff. Can especially recommend the chana saag and saag aloo. This is now my go-to Indian restaurant!

Went for lunch 2 course meal deal with my son today. Both impressed with quality, quantity and fantastic value. Will recommend to everyone and will return soon. I live in Whitstable and would ask Flavours by Kumar to consider opening in Whitstable as all the good Indian eat in restaurants have gone. Very impressed. Don't know if posted on wrong site but this was at Ramsgate restaurant.

What a treat. Service excellent, food amazing. This is not your standard Curry House, it is a fusion experience. Before the starters, there was a taster dish and then Before the main course, a spicy soup and vegetable spring roll. All these additions were complementary and yet the prices are comparable with other restaurants. Can't wait to go back.

Thank you for letting me travelled back to Jodhpur and Jaipur bringing me great memories!! Korma Chicken with basmati rice was a delicious meal such as the pork ribs for starters. The cheese naans were the best I had in my life! My compliments to the chef!!

Beautiful food, attentive and polite staff. The sharing starter platter was amazing!! 4 different starters to share all of which were well cooked and so flavoursome!!! Main meals were generous portions and again so well cooked! All cooked fresh.

Had a takeaway from this place and we were very impressed. Speedy delivery, good quality food and rice with every main dish which is unusual. We particularly liked the shingaras, the aubergine mash and chicken makhani. We would order again!

Delightful, attentive, clean, well-run, and charming Indian restaurant. We had a fabulous meal there. We were surprised with not one but two complimentary dishes! An amuse bouche and a little palate cleanser cup. Food was very tasty and spicy as opposed to being too hot. What made this a five-star experience was at the end of the meal, the music changed, and the manager bought out a transcribed happy birthday plate with a carrot cake. This was totally a surprise as we had not requested it. The manager just overheard us talking about our Mum's 80th. Fabulous service!

Horrendous takeaway. Emailed them politely a week ago to register my dissatisfaction, no response. Food tasted like canned chickpeas and beans stirred around in a can of tomatoes and a spoon of curry powder for all of 2 minutes then served. No love or time put in whatsoever. Real shame, had some good food here previously. Won't be using again

You read so many positive reviews and can't help but wonder if its all gas... set your expectations high and go see kumar! We got a take away and everything without exception was fantastic. They have a wide menu with alot of dishes I have never heard of, for those reasons I will be back!
