Amazing food and portion sizes. We had a crunchie cookie sandie and a caramel brownie. They were both quite sweet so we could only eat half at a time. But the flavours were amazing 🥹

I always but coffee here unless the Q is massive. Nice staff and always a good coffee. I was worried that they would close with Starbuck literally opening next door and a Pret on the other side, but they seem to be going well. In fact you can sit outside the van and use the Starbucks wifi for free.

Flat whites really is the best coffee place in Winchester and its not just because thire coffee is delicious, witch it is. Or because they always have a fantastic verity of homemade sweet treats, witch they do. Or even that they actively promote and support local business, recently switch to getting fresh milk from a family run dairy farm less then 20mins drive away. What really makes this my favourite place is the staff... bright, smiling and friendly if time allows chatty too and always very welcoming! to those on 4 legs as well as 2. They work so well together even given such a quirky space, its never any surprise ro me when there is a queue. I saw a review before saying the young man was rude... I feel this has to be a reflection of the woman who wrote it, as I have Always found the young men that work there charming and courteous.

Three of us stopped by for a coffee earlier today. When we arrived there was only one customer paying for her order. We we went up to look at the cakes and then queued behind the customer to the left. Then two more ladies came and looked at the cakes and queued to the right. In the van there was a young man taking the order and the money, with a young lady busy making the drinks. The young man looked up at me, so I was about to give him my order, and he told me to ‘go and queue to the right’! I queried this as I was next in the queue and he said there was a sign telling me where to queue. We went and stood behind the two ladies who then put their orders in, and we had to wait another five minutes to give our order. During this five minutes I had the chance to watch this young man and it was very clear the he was doing very little work, and the young lady never stopped working. He has more than enough time to look up to see his customers. After I gave my order (I chose not to order cakes due to the man’s rudeness), I advised the young man of the fact that he sent us to the back of the queue and that wasn’t right, also the way he spoke to us was very rude. He simply said there is a sign telling us to queue the other way. However when you walk up to the van you want to see what cakes and items they have for sale, and you wouldn’t naturally look at a sign on the floor! There was no hint of an apology and also no hint that this young man should easily be able to tell who has arrived first and be able to serve people in order. Before I could say anything more the young man left the van. This rudeness has soured my experience with getting a coffee here which I do about once a month. I think I will go elsewhere in future…

I ordered an Americano with Milk and the coffee was incredibly weak. Being used to making espressos on an E61 using a 18g in / 40g out / 28 seconds this felt like 12-16g or under extracted. My friends flapjack looked good. But it was a weak, herby coffee.

i write this review with a heavy heart, I saw the cookies on your IG and for a Friday treat, we stopped by to get one! The two woman that were working were very rude. came out the side door in a way we thought we were being watched, not checked on. Didn't say hello when we said hi, not even goodbye. - felt like we were disturbing their catch up chat. Then we paid.. £8 for 2 cookies which at first we thought wow.. that's expensive. There was no price on them, so we didn't even see that they were £4 before purchasing. saying that, we are happy to pay a little extra for smaller businesses and homemade goods, but after receiving bad service it all makes the experience even worse. cookies are great, maybe invest in new staff.

Saw on their Instagram they advertised as being being vegan friendly so I had to try. Went there Thursday and was told the vegan options were only available Friday and Saturday as they had the vegan cream and toppings then so thought not a problem will organise to come at the weekend. Came today (Saturday) queued for 15 mins to be told they can do the hot chocolate but everything else contains dairy. Not sure why they had to lie on Thursday? Waste of a journey and pure disappointment. However, made me try the Orangery round the corner which was incredible so definitely recommend them. Flat white - overpriced and below average.

The coffee is really good with a quick and friendly service. My only problem is that they use the same coffee holder for both full and decaf coffee grounds, without cleaning it out properly between the two types of coffee (tapping it does not remove anything like all the previous grounds). If you can’t have caffeine then that extra added by using the same device is enough to make a big difference. I know, I suffered. Other than that I would recommend them

The new premises are small and cramped and the tables very close together. It's not high on comfort and there's nowhere to hang a coat. Great coffee and eats from a funky coffee stall in the centre of the city. Great to buy a brew, relax and let the world walk by!

A mobile coffee bar so who knows how long it will be here but try it while you can. Usually parked just opposite Laura Ashleys and definitely one of the best coffees in Winchester

Yummy wraps, cakes and excellent coffee. Staff are really friendly, much better than the chain cafés on the high street!

A gem of a coffee wagon in the city of king Alfred . A great selection of drinks served by friendly efficient staff - gets my vote over costa's or Starbucks any day of the week. Superb value for money

Stopped by for an iced coffee...could have easily eaten everything on the counter as well! Well worth a visit and a purchase if you are passing. Food, both savoury and sweet, would make for an ideal picnic by the Cathedral, which is practically next door. Lovely, friendly, hard working staff, great concept. Go go go!

No where to sit, but, nice place to have a coffee, and a cake, just of the high street, easy to walk to the cathedral from there.

A big shout out to these guys. Service & food was brilliant. We were visiting my dad in the hospital & as the visiting hours are 2pm onwards 🙄 I thought I would take my mum for lunch first. From thr first phone call, to service, & the food - & I'm fussy!!, you won't be disappointed! And portions were huge! The pickled watermelon 😱 was amazing! Nothing to fault at all. Thank you, we will be back ! Might even bring dad lol

How can you mess up a Ploughman’s Lunch? Come to the D&C and see. Microwaved half baguette that went dry, crisp and stale immediately. Cheese was appalling. The worst type of cheap, tasteless, doughy cheddar. Pork pie that was missing the pork. We will not be returning.

We thought it was good but no more. The staff were very polite and attentive. Excellent sourdough (although would of been nice to be included on a £49.95 for 3 course lunch) and cracking pigs in blankets. Cured trout was a lovely light starter. Beef fillet although accurately cooked lacked the wood fired characteristics. A fillet really doesn't have enough time to get flavour from the wood fired oven due to its size. Other larger cuts of beef with some fat would be a better choice. Accompanying veg were ok but the cauliflower cheese again lacked any of the advertised 'wood fired' flavour and cheese sauce a little thin. We also thought this recently when dining in the Avenue restaurant what a shame there are no real local sparkling wines listed. Yes Ridgeview is in Southern England but some 70 miles away. You've got excellent quality producers like Black Chalk, Hattingley Valley, Louis Pommery, Raimes, Candover Brook and The Grange all within 10 miles.

Really cozy bakery, went at about 1.20pm so there wasn't as much stock as first hoped (recommend going fairly early cod the full range) however what they did have was fantastic. The brownies are moist, chocolatey and very rich. Very friendly service too!
