Flamingo Bay in Scarborough

Flamingo Bay, is a great place for breakfast, lunch or for tea or coffee. The ice cream is very good too. It has great views over the South Bay, the food and drink is high quality, but reasonably priced and the staff are always kind and friendly. Since moving to the area in 2022, it has become my favourite Scarborough cafe.

Such a lovely atmosphere. Views looking over the sea and great staff that were warm and attentive. Not to mention how great the food was! Shared a waffle which was really yummy!

Love this place for ive creams! Bloody beautiful!! Staff lovely too! I had the black cherry whippy on a choco cone with a flake, hubby had mint choc chip on a choccy cone. Absolutely bliss. Will always use this place!

We went in for some lunch, obviously it is more of a dessert place but they served sandwiches and toasties so we went in. Tables are tiny and wedged in. We ordered 2 sandwiches and 2 toasties, plus drinks and it was nearing £40. Very overpriced and underwhelming.

Absolutely cannot recommend this place enough. Me and my family went for all 3 nights of our holiday and tried nearly every flavour...the Unicorn and Turkish delight were our favourite flavours! Really good for your money prices and Absolutely delicious! The customer service was also wonderful...on the second night the lady recognised us from the night before, given how many people she must serve, that meant a lot! This place will be a definite must the next time we visit scarborough ❤️

Very busy but we were served in a reasonable amount of time. Good selection of food and drinks. Friendly staff.

Excellent we had 2 lovely flat whites then ice cream .The staff are very good and the coffee to die for along with there ice creams .We will be back definetly the best on Scarborough sea front .

We called in due to our children wanting an ice cream. My daughter loved her mint chocolate chip and even though my son isn't a big fan of ice cream usually polished his strawberry ice cream off in minutes. Me and my partner decided on the milkshakes and they were both nice although he said there was a little bit too much cream on his. We sat outside in the May sunshine and enjoyed the rays. There is also seating inside.

Nice little place on the sea front for ice cream. Lots of choice on the menu and friendly staff. Option to takeaway or eat in the cafe.

Unpleasant welcome from the staff, a nice lady went in to the place asking one of staff to use the toilet for her 3 years old son, the staff were very rude and asking her you must buy anything from the shop to let you use the toilet, Not acceptable behaviour from the staff, we were group of 20, we all decided to leave the place to support the lady, not recommended

Really enjoyed our coffee and cakes at Flamingo bay on Saturday, the carrot cake was so so tasty and came complementary ice cream! Yummmy! and so affordable! The blonde boy who served us was very friendly and this made us enjoy it even more- thank you :)

A nice spot to sit and people watch 🙂 Staff friendly...infact we came back for a return visit whilst staying in town and the staff remembered us. My son commented 'This place makes Scarborough even better!' in response to gorgeous milkshakes on offer. Are there a little cheaper places for ice-cream? Yes, but happy to pay a little extra for good attentive customer service with a smile. Will be back!

We went only for coffee on Boxing Day, while the football match was still on, and could not have wished for better. We were able to sit outside in the sun and really enjoyed a lovely flat white Staff were so friendly, even though they were run ragged Will definitely be back

Great coffee and beautiful homemade chocolate caramel shortbread. The best I’ve had in Scarborough. The young lady who served us was pleasant and efficient, and everything was spotlessly clean. Will definitely return.

Bright colours everywhere and a good view of the sea. Banana.waffle with nutella bananas cream and vanilla icream was delish and the coffee was very nice too. Friendly waitress would deffo go again

This little cafe had a lovely choice of ice cream (I had white chocolate and raspberry and rocky road), the coffee was great as well. Run by one very hard working member of staff.

Found this gem of an ice-cream parlour in Scarborough today. Enjoyed a banana split and ice-cream selection, with hot chocolate and Yorkshire tea. Views across the beach and looking out to sea whilst enjoying our delicious ice-creams. Will certainly pay another visit before we go...

Visited here with family and we was not disappointed. So much choice. Kids loved their ice creams then took a fancy to my biscoffi donuts which were amazing! Can’t believe how reasonably priced the menu is for what you get.

This place used to be Pacittos and I think I prefer it when it used to be that. Staff here now at the Flamingo Bay seem rude with an attitude. Average at best, considering for 2 bottles of pop and 2 small tubs of ice...

Popped in here for some Milkshake during a busy day in Scarborough and it’s was absolutely delicious … I had the strawberry one … Can’t fault a thing … Well worth a visit :-)

the workers are rude and highly untrained, poor customer service, order was forgotten about twice, when the order came it was wrong, and we got no apology from any of the staff for getting it wrong. do not come here ever.
