Came in for a spot of lunch earlier today, the food was great and the bar staff also, in particular Levi I believe was her name was very attentive and gave good energy when bringing my food and serving me. Will be returning

DOG FRIENDLY!!!! Haven't been here for years... huge improvement 👏 Staff are lovely and welcoming. Food is definitely a million times better than before. But is such a nice pug to go to. I was in having drinks and lunch with a friend whilst visiting Brighton and would definitely go back. The manager Davy was amazing. He was polite, helpful and accommodating the entire time we were there. The service was great, food was absolutely lovely and the drinks were lush. I would definitely recommend visiting if your in the area 😊

As soon as we walked into the pub the staff were SO RUDE. We sat on a reserved table which was available until about an hour before it was taken. We were asked to move in 10 minutes before the booking which was fine and we happily agreed to move. The lady ( with short hair) then came over and wanted one of the chairs my boyfriend was on by saying “move” nothing like a “ please could I have this chair for the booking next to the table” she then went to one of my friends and said the exact thing. SO RUDE. We then moved down to the bottom of the pub by the pool tables and the staff members never cracked a smile and never even bothered to clear up any glasses or food on the table. Two female members of staff were yapping to each other not having a care in the world. I then proceeded to take a few plates to the bar when they just looked over to think I was thick. They then decided to refuse to serve us when quite clearly we were not causing any disruption. Quite frankly the members of staff are so rude and need to maybe employ staff that can crack and smile and do there job properly. On a little nice ish note the food is nice bit average but the only decent thing about the pub xxxx

Vine para un asado pero no tenía carne de res, solo pavo que no me gusta mucho. Cuando llegó la comida estaba ligeramente fría. El personal era amable, buena elección de cerveza.

We popped in here for some food on 9th December, opened a tab up at the bar and ordered some food. It arrived in good time but food was cold and well overpriced. As we were eating our food the family sitting near by had a small dog and was letting it climb all over the table and then urinated on the floor. Once we had finished we paid the bill and noticed on the receipt that an extra drink that we didn’t have had been added to the bill. And when we mentioned it to barmaid she refunded us the money straight away, obviously they do this to a lot of other people, extra money for them definitely wouldn’t recommend

The location of the pub is really good. It's really close to a bus stop. The staff are friendly. It's a dog friendly place. The food was tasty and at a good price.

Came in with some mates the other day. The service was phenomenal, the lady who served us was named Levi and she made us feel like decade long regulars on our first venture to The Pub at Fiveways. Will definitely come again especially if the service from all staff is anywhere close to Levi's.

It's a pretty average pub. Cheap basic grub. Bit noisy when quiz night is on. Oh and service is good. Polite and efficient. Not fantastic. Not terrible. Just normal and average. Like a perfectly functional pair of brown curtains.

Revolting roast turkey dinner certainly wasnt proper turkey may need new chef of new produce got a free pint though.

Lovely experience here. The staff were so helpful and couldn’t do more to help us. The fish and chips and burgers we had were delicious and we’ll definitely be back soon!

Nice pub for a drink well maintained.

They microwave the burgers. Thought it tasted a little off and was extremely hot it burnt my throat as I swallowed it. Burgers are easy to make, hate to think what other corners they are cutting. Staff looked miserable and bored to be there. Dirt/Food all under the tables. Much better choice around for spending your hard earned cash in this economy. EDITED THE REVIEW AS THE OWNER REPLIED.

Popped in for lunch today and the bar staff were amazing, so accommodating and welcoming! Despite the fact that the pub was rather busy today, the staff kept everything under control and were still smiling. Food was also yummy! Love this place, can’t wait to return!

Came in on Saturday night and was instantly made to feel welcome by the great bar staff they had on, especially an extremely beautiful staff member called Levi who went out of her way to make me feel comfortable whilst showcasing great knowledge of the pub, Brighton and its drinks of choice. They had great regulars drinking there mainly 2 guys called Sean and Hungry Hippo who were chatty and bought me a drink each, which is a rare thing now. The experience as a whole was absolutely brilliant and will definitely be visiting again, especially if the beauty that is Levi is working, maybe I can get her number. Thoroughly recommend.

I don’t often give reviews for places but today was exceptional,while visiting Brighton I stopped at a pub called fiveaways and wow I thought good customer service was a thing of the past, I was served by a young lady called Levi who was so friendly an chatty I felt quite at home having my pint,so decided to have a bite to eat as well, I was asked if I have any allergies she even asked if I have a preference where I would like to sit.This was a thoroughly enjoyable lunch great surroundings and if your lucky you might get served by the same lovely young lady.

Fast service and a decent selection of drinks, but the halloumi burger was disappointing—overcooked and too hard. On the bright side, it was affordable

Great pub in the area with a lively atmosphere, especially during live music/game nights They have big portions of ketchup (which is a bonus if you're a fan), and there's always sports on TV to keep you entertained. I had garlic bread and chips, and the food was good, but I felt the portions could have been a bit bigger. However, the brownie with ice cream for dessert was absolutely perfect, with no complaints there. There's a nice garden and a smoking area outside, making it great for a relaxing visit, and the free wifi is a nice touch. Overall, it was a solid spot and very chill. Would definitely come back if it wasn't 65 miles away from home 😂... been a good start to my holiday staying in Brighton for a week

I visited the pub today and I'm a regular there. There was a pub quiz taking place and rather than being able to enjoy a pint as usual I was Haressed, move from one table to the next until I finally had enough. I have ended up having to leave as felt so unwelcome.

Lovely busy atmosphere. The barman Finn was extremely knowledgeable about the menu and current offers which was really helpful as we had received a £5 off code by email. He was very patient while we decided on food. The meals we had were very nice and we will definitely return soon. We were made to feel very welcome.

Lunch for under £22 with drinks in Brighton isn't heard of. We had the chicken katsu curry. Delicious and huge portions. Sauce was one of the best I've tried. Great for pub grub. Definitely go again

I’ve been a couple of times recently in the early evening, once with my family for a bite to eat. The staff have always been nice, smiley and attentive. Were happy to bring a Guinness to me rather me wait at the bar. Made a very slight mistake on a food order and when I mentioned it they went way beyond to make up for it. Service like this will keep us coming back over and over again. Thank you. 🙏🏼

we’ve just moved here and love this pub! this is our new local. kind and chatty staff, food and drinks are good and reasonably priced. Levi is one of the loveliest staff members, she always has a smile on her face and pours a great guinness.

I go to this pub after playing football every Tuesday and every time I am welcomed with a smile. The bar staff are very nice, especially a lad named cally. Great food, great aura and great service. I definitely recommend.

Massively improved pub! Great spot with incredible food and drink selection. The staff were all super friendly, and I loved the feel about it since the renovation 😁 Also tried Greene King’s new beer, Flint Eye, which comes in a really cool glass!
