Lovely small cafe. Lots of students in so a good atmosphere. Staff were helpful and friendly. Food very good value. The focaccia wasn’t as enormous as some places, so just right for lunch with great choices of fillings. Didn’t try the cakes, but very tempted as they all looked delicious.

Really friendly little cafe, with polite and helpful staff. Food was straightforward and simple, but with fresh ingredients and carefully prepared and presented - which is exactly what a drop-in cafe should be about. Staff were attentive, and took time to make sure the place was tidied and cleaned promptly. The cakes looked great - only sorry I ran out of time to try one! Maybe next time!

Smoked salmon and avocado on sour dough. Sounds simple? Somehow these good people made it sublime. Thank you. Nice little cafe. Easy access. Top quality drinks

A lovely local coffee shop. The staff are always really polite and friendly at both sites and we’ve never struggled getting a table at Storer Road. There is always a wide selection of cakes and we’ve never had one we haven’t liked! Coffee is also really nice and wide range of drinks.

So today I returned to the Ashby Rd/Storer Rd Coffee Shop. Lovely member of staff greeted me and I asked for a Flat White with full fat milk only to be told you don’t use it and my only option was semi skimmed milk - please please please use full fat so much better for texturing, Latté art and it’s healthier!

Fifty three at storer road has the loveliest staff, especially the main lady who works there! Always so welcoming and they do the yummiest soya gingerbread lattes, definitely better than Starbucks or Costa!

Came in today with my mum who uses a wheelchair and my dog. We were welcomed the minute we arrived and throughout our visit, they did everything they could to accommodate us. I had a cookies and cream frappe which was lovely and my mum has two ice cream scoops which she loved. We also took a red velvet cookie to go. Prices are slightly lower than a normal coffee shop with a much more personal/friendly atmosphere. We will be returning very soon!

Soo I took a visit to the new Cafe down Ashby road, ordered myself a Frap and a cookie and carried on with my day... As far as Fraps go it was lovely, with a paper straw too #SAVETHEPLANET - the cookie its self was nothing special, however the toppings on top are the real dealbreaker, yep, a full gold bar slapped on top of a cookie🔥 little bit pricey for students, or anyone without disposable income. Also, if you enjoy sitting in painful silence this is the cafe for you

10/10!!! The barista’s was brilliant, very friendly and chatty! The temperature of the drink was hot (what you want in a hot drink!) and was delicious! The brownies and cookies were amazing and would recommend to anyone! 👌🏼

I was excited to try the new shop on Ashby Road when I saw it a few weeks ago: don’t often drive on this road. The interior and tone are very modern & clean. Welcomed by friendly staff and a good looking selection of food. I found it slightly strange that upon ordering a flat white I wasn’t asked whether I wanted take out or to sit in that question came from the barista. Good to see a Flat White not being more expensive than a Latte or offered in different sizes - good work guys. Be good if people are offered what milk they want, interesting to see the default was semi- skimmed. I’ll ask in the future. Given a 3/5 as a few things need improving. Know what beans your selling & please don’t over super heat the milk as I burnt my tongue. Look forward to trying again.

We visited today at lunchtime. It’s always encouraging to see a place full of customers and we chose to wait a few minutes until a table became free. We had a coffee each and a lasagne each, which was served with granary bread and salad. The food was tasty and nicely presented.

We popped in for a quick bite to eat on Saturday as we were doing some local shopping. As it was a sunny day, the few seats outside were taken, but we managed to get a table inside. Service was friendly and helpful and as soon as I discovered the quiche was homemade, I just had to try it. I chose the individual cheese and caramelised onion quiche. It was delicious! A lovely little independent cafe!
