Fernley's Fish and Chips in Cornwall, Isles of Scilly

Excited at the reopening of a popular fish and chip shop. This is now a type of kebab shop. So I ordered a burger and chips. Once eaten, within an hour I suffered from a very bad stomach. Needless to say I am not returning.

Dont often have fish and chips, but it was poor.Ordered a small fish and chips,when i got home to tuck in i felt robbed.Smallest portion of fish and chips ive ever had, laughable.

Where's the 0 star option when you need it, just had the biggest piss take of a fish and chips ever. £17 for 2 small cod & chips and a cod bite & chips, 1 cod bite was bigger than the portion of chips, the mushy peas were the worst ever. There is no way in this world I would return here for takeaway.....

Great fish and chips, little bit expensive but very good and freshly cooked. Shame they didn't do 1/4 chicken as partner is gf so no other options avail as only chicken was like KFC equivalent and had to get a ready meal from Tesco!

nothing special.....had large cod and chips,with peas cost..£9:60...a bit on the expensive side for me

Love the cod bites from Fernleys. Always get huge portions of chips as well, easily enough to share between 2 of you.

We bought two large battered cod and one large chips and there was more than we could eat. Beautiful freshly deep fried in lovely crisp golden batter that tasted wonderful.

A simple order of cod bites, chips and curry sauce turned into a half hour wait, and that's not even when they were busy! Seems like hardly nothing is ready prepared. What a joke. Will not be going again even if it is local.

Got a good menu lot to choose from the majority of food is good and cooked to order so you have to wait which is OK if you want it fresh and hot which I think everyone does always cooked well if you want your fish done a bit longer that is not a problem staff will always try there best

Soggy soft greasy chips. Happy & helpful service, the prices are ok for a chippy. But really not a great meal. Go else where.

I have being going to Furnleys from many many years and have never been disappointed by the quality of the fish although I would say sometime the chips left a little to be desired

Our regular chippy - pleasant staff, prompt service, and fresh food cooked to order. Generous portion sizes too. Awesome :)
