I love siitting outside on market days and watching the world go by. A friendly welcome and a great place to meet friends.

So nice to sit outside and people-watch in the market whilst enjoying a great coffee. Friendly staff and good prices.

Although a basic set up the food is very good and very good value for money. There is a good amount of seating and plenty of seats outside. The service is very quick although most visitors go for coffee and tea.

Fay’s Place is a hidden gem. The best hot chocolate around; it stays hot for long enough to be a handwarmer before you drink it; a bonus in winter! The food is tasty, whether takeaway or eat in, and it’s great value too.

Used to always come here when I was younger and was a typical town cafe that did everything from toast to burgers. The quality was always high. However upon this latest visit I have found the menu has been shrunk to a size with such a small selection. No burgers for a town cafe. Go to the moonlight for a better selection and quality of food. Oh unless you are vegetarian, maybe this option replaced the burgers.
