at first seemed good, food seat and menu, dogs allowed, went to order and it appeared I had picked up an old menu so was quizzed quiet rudely by an older woman as to where I had got that from, I pointed to the table where all the menu's were. Finally ordered and paid and then food arrived, baguettes were actually very nice and an attempt at presentation with a few crisps, lettuce leaves (some brown) and tomato, the cheesy chips looked and according to my son tasted good my daughters wrap was disappointing and a little stale around the edges. The Mochas were not stirred so all the chocolate was at the bottom of the cup, not the best lunch and won't be rushing back!

First visit to the café. We didn't get to try the food as it was really busy and no seats available. I was with a buggy and 2 toddlers. When we walked in, no one greeted us, there was massive tables reserved but no one once came up to me to show me to an available table or talk to me. I just gathered the children and left.

Rude owner/manager spoke to her staff in a disgusting way (I’m surprised they still work for her) whilst coughing over everyone’s food and attempting to charge people multiple times when they had already paid. Looks like retirement would be a better option for her in my opinion as the stress has obviously taken its toll. Subsequently charged me for two blocks of ice in a tap water for my three year old and then threw a strop quoting the fact that she has to pay water rates as a reason. Communication is not this persons strong point...unfortunately neither is running a cafe. What an awful experience.

A nice cafe in the park that will welcome you and your dog (with a free biscuit or two!) Serves the typical cafe fare, hot & cold, nothing fancy, but great value. Ideal place to visit after you've explored the park.

The three of us had lunch here after our grandson had played 9 holes on the par 3 course. We have been here several times before. This is a typical simple cafe building situated at the edge of the golf course. Some outside tables overlooking the golf course. Licensed. Dog friendly. A good range of "cafe" hot and cold food, drinks, snacks and cakes; all at reasonable prices. We all had paninis which each come with two generous fillings plus some salad and crisps garnish - enjoyable. The kitchen is open for all to see. I suspect that the cafe is staffed by volunteers as the ordering and service is somewhat chaotic at times, albeit friendly and helpful - they could probably benefit from a second chef at peak times as there can be delays. It was very pleasing to see that in July 2016 this small cafe achieved a FSA Food Hygiene Rating of 5, the maximum - probably not so easy to achieve in the rather restricted facilities. Overall a good place to stop if you are using the park.

Little gem in Farnham park. Friendly staff. Honest menu. Mondays senior fish and chips to include peas and bread and butter. Good value. Tasty. Dog friendly and they are always given a treat. Lovely stop off when having a walk. Lovely location.

Great stop for dog walking with coffee and light snacks available. Much better value than high street chains served in better surroundings without people constantly on smart phones .

Service is fine but food poor quality and clearly supermarket bought or mass produced on site. See watery macaroni cheese (macaroni soup?) and dinky millionaires shortbread. Management needs to try harder.

This is a great place to have a cuppa and something to eat after a good walk in Farnham Park. Don't expect a gourmet selection what you get is good honest fare, very good coffee. The staff are a friendly bunch and dogs are welcome inside which is a boon in the Winter, when the wood burner will be knocking out lovely warmth. There is a terrace for the Summer.

After a long walk in Farnham Park on a cold and frosty day it was a pleasure to go in here for a hot meal. Surprising large (if basic) menu for such a small place. Good hot food. Very busy with local walkers and golfers

This little cafe in Farnham Park is friendly and serves good, basic food. The staff are always friendly and dogs are welcome, so if you are walking your pooch in the park, it is an excellent stop for a drink and cakes, or a snack.

Booked here for mother in laws anniversary dinner. They served us very well and the food was very good. We will go again for a normal dinner.

Met up with a couple of friends for a girlie lunch . We were shown to a great table not rushed at all . Had a great choice of wine and drinks for us and we choose lots of things to share as we gossiped . It was clean and tidy and all staff we encountered were friendly especially Penni the manager . Such a shame it’s closing we will have to find a new place to lunch . Thank you

How is this place still open? Major damp/mould problems means it STINKS and must be a genuine health hazard. Incredibly miserable manager (landlord?) who rolled his eyes when he saw us waiting at the bar. A real shame, it used to be a great spot for sport. I won’t be going back. Farnham is full of pubs that are far better and healthier than this one.

We came to the Inn on the lake for a Wake. We had a lovely experience even for a very sad occasion. Right from the first phone call, we received such compassionate service. We couldn't fault anything, the welcome we all received, the food, the actual venue. They met all our needs, and we were so grateful. A very big thank you has to go to Nicky for all of her help and kind words.
