Love it here, I visit regularly with family and have done for the past few years. Food is lovely and fresh and the cakes are amazing! The people that work here are lovely and so friendly

Lovely atmosphere. Friendly staff. Food didn't take long to arrive and was delicious. Great service and it was lovely and clean inside too. Will definitely eat there again

Just been to Farmer & Friends for mothers day breakfast. What a lovely friendly place .Fabulous food good quality. Fast efficient service. Staff also very welcoming. Definitely going to be a regular place for us to return.

I come here regularly and always find the staff friendly and helpful. They are especially helpful with checking for allergies and making bookings. Food and drink is always lovely. Always worth a visit.

On the whole I do love farmers and friends, however, since a new waitress joined the team she’s making me question why I give them my business? The past two visits have been ruined by her lack of professionalism and attention to detail. Today (24.01.24) the waitress was too busy on her phone. Every time we came to the front desk she was on her phone. We ordered two soups; one vegan. The order came with dairy spread on the bread for the vegan option. When I challenged it, the waitress had not communicated to the chef that one portion of bread needed to be vegan. She had not passed on the message. Totally unacceptable to ignore someone’s dietary requirements. This is the second time this has happen and “sorry” is not enough. She didn’t apologise her self, another member of staff rectified the situation (along with the chef). I want to reiterate, every member of staff except the blonde, middle aged waitress makes farmers and friends a welcoming environment to be in. The blonde waitress needs to consider the profession she’s entered! She is dragging farmers and friends reputation down!

I thoroughly enjoyed my breakfast. Highly recommended.

The food was hot and we didn't need to wait too long but there is little non- fried food available on the menu.

Lovely warm cosy café all be it a little noisy. Delicious bacon sandwich on crusty white bread.

I’m unsure if there has been a change of management but our latest visit was extremely poor. Sold out food still displayed on the specials board. Staff more interested in chatting with each other. As the kitchen door is open it was clear these staff members were also sitting on the kitchen surfaces on their phones. I was meant to have scrambled egg with my meal but definitely wasn’t. It looked similar to an omelette with some egg whites still visible and the consistency of wet fish. No one bothered to ask if our meals were ok or even clear our plates away after we’d finished. A theme that was common throughout the whole cafe as the couple next to us has numerous empty cups on their table. When we went to discuss the poor food and service the young lady behind the till looked at us as if we weren’t speaking English and then following another staff member joining her became quite confrontational. We asked for contact details for the manager to give feedback and were told there was no such way. It’s a shame as we’ve visited here a few times a month and always recommended it to friends and family.

Warm and friendly. I love coming here. The girls there welcome customers like old friends.

Popped in for lunch/brunch, we had Spanish eggs & jacket potato. Absolutely delicious, very generous portions, well presented & really tasty. Food arrived in good time, everything hot, everyone we met was friendly & welcoming, not rushed at all, we stayed & had more coffees & shared some of their excellent cake! Great place in wombourne!

This is an exceptional spot to enjoy a satisfying brunch or breakfast. Their menu boasts an impressive variety of innovative and unique dishes, in addition to the classic full English breakfast. The coffee they serve is of exceptional quality, and you'll find a tempting selection of cakes at the counter, which you can grab to take away with you. It's a delightful culinary experience worth savoring.

Sadly the service and general staff attention has declined rapidly in recent months. The food is tasty but you pay up for it. Questionable staff practices let it down sadly - will cease to visit after recent visits

Came here after having a previous good experience a couple of years ago, what a mistake! Clearly must be under new ownership and the blonde woman on till/serving food clearly is in the wrong job… she was unwelcoming and she also took our food to the wrong table and allowed some dogs to touch my plate. I even told her I saw the dogs touch the plate and she was rude and abruptly said they didn’t… don’t lie when I was facing and saw the whole thing! Anyway she clearly thought twice and came back 5-10 mins later and offered to replace my plate/food, I said no thanks as by this point I had started eating it as she had been very rude and dismissive and I’d already paid… and even though she had ruined our visit and clearly has no customer service skills. Also we had already waited a long time for simple poached egg on toast… which may I add was the worst poached egg on toast I’ve ever had. This place allows dogs to sit with their faces drooling on the tables - dogs belong sitting on the floor if they must be in a food and drink establishment. The plates and cup saucer had chips, and the cutlery didn’t look as clean as I would have liked. All in all, I’d say this place needs to clean its act up and be a bit nicer to customers.

Lovely food. Terrible service!! No problems at all with the food but the blonde lady couldn’t have been more unwelcoming. Very much got the impression that our large party was unwelcome and an inconvenience. We are new customers too so you’d think you’d want people to return. Guessing it’s either a local place for local people, our faces didn’t fit or they don’t like kids. Happy to take our money but not with any hint of a smile.

Lovely dog friendly cafe in the village I grew up in. Called in with our teenage son on the way to see an old friend while we were down from Hull. Lovely atmosphere, great staff, and the food was excellent quality. Will definitely call in again when down that way

Perfectly lovely little place …. As long as your presence doesn’t dare darken their door 1hour and 5 minutes before closing on a Saturday. We arrived at 2:55 (closing time 4pm) and didn’t we know it! I’ve had been service from a funeral director and to say the staff are surrounded by cake …. Someone had clearly been sucking on lemons! Dogs are welcome but what I didn’t expect was to be barked at by the staff when entering to say “kitchen is closed, only doing cakes and drinks, and you need to sit over there because that side is closed” …. That’s fine, we only wanted drinks and cake anyway. What I didn’t expect was to eat my cake (which was yummy) while multiple black bins were being emptied and carried out through the front door right past our table and the toilets barricaded with a cone! I can only image the staff are in training for Karen’s Diner (IYKYK)

Visited today as a table of 6. Spent almost £15 on just drinks. Then we ordered food and paid £55 for 4 adults and 2 kids meals. Meals were beautiful. The reason for the rating is based on one of the kids meals. I ordered a kids breakfast for my son and didn't check what came on it as presumed it would be similar to the adults - sausage, bacon, eggs, toast etc. My son was disappointed when it came out minus bacon. We asked if it was possible to have some bacon and was told yes but it would be £1.50. This was fine even though we had just spent £70 on food and drinks and thought a rasher of bacon wouldnt be too much to ask for. Anyway I paid for this and expected for £1.50 maybe 2 rashers. When it came out there was 1 rasher and not even a full piece. It just let down the meal really. The prices are expensive for some things especially for what you get. Disappointing experience today

Love this place for breakfast. And bonus is my Puppy is allowed to come in and sit with us. Friendly staff- would highly recommend 😊

Second time I've been to this place with my dad for a flat white coffee, it was really nice, extra hot what I asked for, my dad had a slice of the Victoria sponge cake which was overpriced for the portion size but nonetheless he enjoyed it but I definitely wouldn't buy the cake again, I appreciate that food prices have increased but I thought it was diabolical how small the slice was. On a better note the staff were lovely and I would go again because the coffee was good

Great friendly cafe. I ordered loose leaf tea and eggs Benedict. The tea was flavoursome, extra milk - no problem! The eggs Benedict was served with a side salad & dressing, crispy bacon and perfectly poached eggs, on a toasted bun with a generous portion of hollandaise sauce to pour from a small jug, all presented beautifully. My friends also enjoyed their meals and coffees too.

Went for breakfast on a Saturday morning arrived at 11am. Not from the area we were on our way to an appointment and had googled a place to grab breakfast on the way. Farmer and Friends looked cosey from the outside with easy parking. A very warm welcome with an instant feeling of easy, friendly and care. 2 x Farmers breakfasts ordered, one with additional black pudding and a pot of tea for 2. £23.50. Tea arrived with a smile within 5 mins of being seated. Great. 2 beautifully presented breakfasts arrived 5 mins later. Delicious. You could tell everything had been sourced and cooked with care. The sausage on each plate was the champion. The bacon a close second. Fresh granary toasted bread was scrummy. All in all, a really tasty plate of food. We were both full and very happy and ate every scrap. If I was going to be uber critical, I perhaps would have expected another fried egg but that is really scraping the barrel when finding a negative and not sure it would all fit on the beautiful plates! By the time we had left about 40 mins later the place was filling up very nicely with families, dogs and couples, so I can only think this is a very popular and well loved place for lunch / dinner.

Really really disappointed and cannot believe response and attitude of staff— guess wrong customer maybe??? arrived 2.35 to be told stopped service food 2.30!! Walked hour and half along railway as hours are closes at 4 on Facebook, website and instagram?!? So disappointed and customer service nil!! Really gutted my poor dogs!!!

Lovely cafe and friendly staff. Enjoy my oat latte and there are other non-dairy milks available too. 4 stars because there were no vegan cakes when we visited, so only half our table ordered some sweet treats. But lovely atmosphere and nice place to pop for a drink.

I booked a table for lunch with some friends and really enjoyed it! The food & coffees were lovely. Staff were very friendly and welcoming. We also took our dog who was brought a bowl of water and had lots of fuss from the staff (which she loved!). Will definitely come here again!

Delicious. We have had breakfast there from Wednesday to Sunday for the last fortnight and the only reason why we aren't there on a monday or tuesday is because they are closed. Lovely staff, freshly cooked food, the absolute best in Wombourne. Looking forward to more yummy breakfasts. Thanks

Came here for lunch with a friend. The food was lovely, the tea was lovely. My friend and I were able to sit and chat for ages. The service was excellent. I would highly recommend as a place to eat and meet. I parked nearby and had reserved a table. Thank you for a great visit.

This is the perfect place to start your morning, being greeted by a friendly, welcoming face and having a selection of food and hot drinks to choose from. I had a delicious vanilla latte made by Cara, which I will definitely be returning for another! The helpful and quick service was what separated this experience to any other shop, with someone to help anytime you need them, especially Ben who was particularly accommodating. I highly recommend farmer and friends and I will be returning indefinitely to have a breakfast as I was sat admiring other customers’ heaped plates wishing I had one too.

A great, snug yet lovely atmosphere where the food (breakfast, brunch and lunch) is excellent. Fresh, presentation and taste is quality with choice and quality of coffee adding to the experience. Dogs are welcome in a separate area which is a bonus making this venue one of the best in the village for a coffee stop, breakfast or lunch.

This is the second time we've visited and we love it. Great food and greatservice. Highly recommend!

Lovely little cafe and amazing breakfast!

We visit this cafe fairly regularly but since the new measures came in with COVID we have been twice and the service and food have been great both times. We pre booked over the phone and dogs are still allowed in one half of the cafe. My only criticism is that the tables and high chairs could be cleaned down a bit better in between customers, I had to go over ours with some baby wipes both times.

Service and food was excellent.

Popped in for drinks, great selection and fantastic quality. The staff provided fantastic service. Will be popping back soon.

This was our first visit. Great selection on the menu, the eggs benedict was amazing. Great service and very friendly staff. Adhered to social distancing, would definitely visit again. Great place in a great location.

Soya latte was excellent- nice coffee flavour and extra hot - would definitely go back for another. Vegan b/fast though was just okay, cooled down really quickly so warm plates would have helped. Have had better, at Codsall Cafe.

Ordered a take away WELL DONE bacon and "tomato dip" sandwich.... even explained on the phone not just fresh tomatoes. Anyway got it home... the bacon was so undercooked it was like ham and on the sandwich were fresh uncooked tomatoes.... straight in the bin, not what I ordered....l so disappointed.

Lovely intimate atmosphere to share with friends whether enjoying tea and cake or having a meal. Love the industrial decor and staff are very welcoming. It can get very busy as it's so popular so it's a good idea to book a table, especially for their delicious breakfasts!

It's always clean in here, great that we can pop in with the dog. I had a dairy free hot chocolate which was divine!!! The large full breakfast was perfect!!! My friend had the vegetarian option and was just as happy with hers. My only criticism is that there are few dairy free options and no margarine available for my toast.

Nice place in the center of the village. Great menu, huge selection. It opens early and you can have breakfast or just have coffee with a friend. We had an Birthday party with friends and family at 9.30am. we had a lot of guests, but we had no problems organizing the table. There was enough space for everyone. I recommend this cafe.

Didn't realise it had changed hands and been redecorated etc we stopped for a coffee and cake, had chocolate brownie and ice cream which was really nice and the prices were reasonable. Would definitely visit this place over cafe 212, they have a much better selection and the service was better it's just ashame it doesn't look as inviting from the outside. They are also dog friendly!

Just the loveliest place. Whether it's breakfast, lunch, or just coffee and cake it's always a pleasure. Young and friendly staff who can't do enough for you. Unusual cakes, something different and tasty.

Lovely little cafe, staff really nice, overall clean and fresh looking. Would give 5 stars, but uncovered food on the counter i.e scones, cakes etc where people are standing near or over them when ordering food or paying. Have heard other comments from friends about this issue. Hopefully this will be taken on board and the counter food will be stored elsewhere or covered up...

Very friendly and helpful staff and the food is great!

The cafe has become a little regular of ours to visit for a great breakfast! Lovely atmosphere, comfy seating, very friendly staff and just a lovely experience. Highly recommend their version of a full English and great for veggies too. We’ve not had cake from here before, but they always have a lovely range of home baked cakes to tempt that look delicious.

Always great food and a nice atmosphere. Always order the same item from the menu - F&F Club sandwich which is one of the best club sandwiches I have tried anywhere. Quality ingredients and decent portions all cooked and served to perfection. Glad this place is round the corner from home.

Using the cafe regularly on a Sunday,and given glowing 5* reviews, today was the first disappointing meal, an over-cooked or reheated burger on a dry bun. Everything else was great including the delicious tea.

Rustic café at the centre of Wombourne. Very friendly serving staff and the food is delicious. The ingredients were all high quality with generous portion sizes. Loved it, will definitely come again especially because Farmer and Friends is dog friendly.

Pleasant and friendly not intrusive

Called in here for the 1st time to have coffee with friends Saturday. First impressions were good as soon as we walked in, its clean modern and very comfortable. The seating is comfortable with a mixture of tables and chairs. They have a good menu and choice. Try the sausages or the warm scone with cream and jam. Prices are mid range but the food is good. The staff were friendly and very welcoming thank you Izzy who served us. There is parking right outside but it is very limited so you may have to park across the road. will defiantly be back.

We had a lovely dinner here,the staff are so friendly ,there's a lovely atmosphere, really nice place to eat or drink,i had the most delicious scrambled egg and mushrooms on toast,it is one of the best I've had,a big pot of tea which the nice girl refilled for me,my husband had the small breakfast,which he said was really tasty,it was plenty to eat too,not that small,he had a cup of coffee,we also had the most fresh delicious lemon drizzle cake best I've tasted, we allwats enjoy our dinner here,such a lovely cafe,best in wombourne village
