Fairfield Restaurant in Scarborough

All the food at the Fairfield restaurant was cooked to perfection & I would highly recommend it. There was plenty of choice & the restaurant caters for all diets

Excellent restaurant of the Saxonville Hotel ,good varied ,menus, beautifully prepared food & fast attentive service by great staff !

There are plenty of fish and chip shops in Whitby as you might imagine and this is one of the best but not our top choice. However, if we had this chippy at home it would win hands down! It's very good - a friendly little shop with some seating inside and out and it's easy to see why it is popular, but we felt that our meal came second (it was very slightly greasy and could maybe have been drained a bit longer - tasty none the less). I'm sure this was just a "one-off" and other reviewers will have higher praise so we will have to go back sometime and try it again.

Decor is very dated, caters very much for senior hotel guests I think. Bright harsh lighting and a budget feel. Food was fine if a bit basic.

Dined in the restaurant whilst staying in the hotel, found the service excellent, table ware and place settings could not be faulted. Food was very good with a good choice from all sections of the menu.

Service was good but the worst food ever, everything either frozen or tinned, and way over priced. We did eat first course, but a couple of mouthfuls of main was more than enough!

Un amigo me compré aquí como un regalo de cumpleaños. Hay un ambiente encantador y el personal es también muy amable y servicial. Comencé con una cesta con filo llena de champiñones carne empanada seguido de zanahoria y Cilantro sopa con rollo de su elección. Esto seguido un plato de pollo que escogí Diane Witch venía con patatas Duquesa, nuevas patatas, puerros carne empanada, zanahorias y guisantes. Entonces lo eligió el tazón de fresas con crema fresca en el tranvía de comida seguido de café y crema de menta. La comida era de alta calidad y no teníamos prisa. Definitivamente regresaremos cuando volvamos a Whitby y recomendaría encarecidamente este lugar. Gracias por una agradable velada!

The whole experience of eating at the Fairfield Restaurant was wonderful. The food, the staff and the absolutely first class.

the food was excellent& plentiful. choice of menu was very good-there are 3 choices for each course,& even more choices for the sweet course! Staff are very helpful& attentive.
