El Vermut in Southwark

Este es un gran oasis español en Londres, y mucho menos Nunhead en el sur! ¡El Vermut es probablemente el único lugar donde puedes comprar una selección de vermuts españoles en el Reino Unido! La decoración es fabulosa y peculiar. Greta y María son increíblemente acogedores - esto es como mis bares favoritos en Barcelona. Muy recomendable y volveremos!

Un bar de vermut en el centro de Nunhead, ¿exactamente lo que esperarías? Una pequeña parte de Madrid en el SE de Londres - una experiencia increíble y una hospitalidad perfecta. Prácticamente (! ) todas las bebidas de estilo español que tienes a tu disposición pero el foco obvio está en la amplia selección de Vermut de toda España. Fuimos en grupo a la hora (tarde) del almuerzo y disfrutamos de un excelente servicio y hospitalidad. Divertido, innovador y digno de un viaje.

Lugar encantador y excelente comida / ambiente. El aparcamiento es gratuito y el personal era encantador ... . . recomiendo enormemente una visita buena para las fechas y los amigos ponerse al día.

Lively, and a pleasant mumur of voices chatting away. Noticed an absence of people looking at their phones rather than enjoying company of others. Great to see for a change. Good choice of drinks and generous portion of olives and salted almonds. Helpful lady arranging a table and chairs for me and my sisters, whilst balancing her bag on her shoulder. Wish we had places like this where I live which is out of London and very predictable in available bars and eateries.

It's a nice place for a good Spanish cuisine if you travelling solo or with friends and family. Must try.

Menú de comida limitado pero delicioso, y un menú de bebidas enorme que lo hace perfecto. También tenga eventos de música en vivo cuando no esté en una pandemia: ¡los dueños encantadores también! : -)

Esta fue nuestra primera visita con nuestra hija antes de salir de Londres para regresar a la naturaleza de Yorkshire, ¡y qué lugar! Acogedor, íntimo y un gran ambiente realzado por la encantadora bienvenida de la dama italiana en el bar. Vergonzosamente, olvidé su nombre y me avergoncé aún más cuando intenté sin éxito entablar conversación con ella en italiano. Podríamos habernos quedado toda la noche si no hubiéramos reservado una comida en un restaurante cercano. Teníamos una botella de vino como aperitivo, ¡gran calidad y valor para Londres! Antes de irnos una hora después, no pude evitar notar las sonrisas en todas las caras de los clientes. No es de extrañar: esta es la barra original de "sentirse bien". Aunque nuestro viaje fue en taxi, en nuestra próxima visita a Londres este será nuestro primer puerto de escala. No podemos recomendarlo lo suficiente. ¡Gracias!

Very nice place for a casual drink and a little bite at the bar. They serve estrella damm and Inedit Damm, which is a lovely wheat beer from Estrella brewery. Other than that, massive list of all sorts of vermouth. I'm not an expert but I've been told, some of the best from Spain 🇪🇸 From the tapas menu at the bar, olives are amazing. Also very nice pan con tomate 🍅 😍 PS. Music is cool as well, in that particular moment 'let's dance' by Bowie 😉

We absolutely love El Vermut! The food menu is quite short and sweet, but the food we had (meat and cheese platter and omelette) was delicious and plentiful, making it exceptional value for money. The drinks menu is very detailed and you will have fun reading about each drink. We had the house vermouth which was great and you won't be disappointed by the Negronis. Staff are so lovely and really make you feel welcome. A really nice addition to the area!

Very chill place to grab a delicious vermouth and some very reasonably priced tapas. Friendly staff. Highly recommended!

Lovely little bar, great addition to Nunhead. Super friendly and has a really nice atmosphere. And a good range of drinks!

We went when Nunhead had special community fair on. El Vermut had a singer and a lovely atmosphere. We asked for cake and they brought us a lovely hot cross bun. Beautifully served. The vermouth was lovely and cheese, nuts and meats. Staff very friendly and helpful.

Best tapas in London outside Spain, remarkable range of vermuts, knowledgeable and friendly staff, cool steampunk decor. Great night out.

The El Vermut bar in London is definitely worth a visit as it offers an incredible variety of Vermuths as well as many other wines, cocktails and beers. Thanks to the friendly atmosphere in the bar and all of its decoration, you will really feel as if you are in a Vermouth bar in Spain. The staff is always super friendly and happy to help out with suggestions if you are struggling to decide which type of drink to get. The Spanish music and sometimes even life music complete the Spanish feel of this bar and turn it into a wonderful place for a drink with friends and family!

I'd never had vermouth before and loved discovering it here. The venue is so nice and cosy and you feel so at home. The drinks are really reasonably priced too.

Chanced upon this fantastic bar...charismatic hosts..authentic atmosphere..great choice of vermouths and other beverages...delicious mouthwatering edible fare...a real gem

We traveled one hour to check this place out. We had Fot-li and Montseta vermouths in Palma de Mallorca and were looking for places to buy them. Instead we found this lovely bar in South London, where we could also drink other vermouths! The owners are lovely, knowledgeable and a pleasure to talk to. The selection of drinks they offer is asking us to come back for more and the food is so good, too! Definitely worth the 40 minute ride on the bus!

This bar is fun! We went there on Sunday afternoon and it was buzzing. It is a vibrant place and has loads of different Vermouths which the friendly staff were only too pleased to advise us on. We tried lots! Even the non alcoholic Vermouth was delicious. If you're not sure about Vermouth there are plenty of other options, including wine - Spanish of course! I noticed there was a "special" Mojito on offer that weekend. Beyond the bar is a seating area (can be curtained off for private functions). We sat at a table and ordered tapas which was deliciously fresh and well presented on sharing boards. El Vermut is very Vermouth! It's imaginative, interesting and exciting. We were very pleased to find it and we'll be back.

Somewhere out of the ordinary. Great decor. Excellent selection of vermouths (and other drinks) with tasty orderves or something more substantial. Add to that really great friendly service.
