A great restaurant, highly recommended - very good wine, great food, very friendly service.

Great atmosphere and food, service was warm and welcoming especially from the owner. The olives are out of this world make sure you try them!

Always love paying a visit to Tozino on a Saturday - jamon is exceptional, croquetas are moreish and the tortilla is gooey just how you hope to have it! A favourite spot in Bermondsey :D

It's such a lovely place. The food is delicious and fresh, with beautiful organic ingredients. The staff are welcoming, smily, great at recommending, always checking on you. They have a very well-put wine and liquors list. The basque cheesecake is a triumph and goes oerfect with the beyota.

Having attempted to recreate a trip to San Sebastian but not the time to spare. I booked a few tapas bars in London. Oh what a mistake, we started at bar Tozino in Maltby street with a plan to have a couple of drinks with a couple of small plates. 2 1/2 later we left having had the most delicious food (Jamon, baked cheese and several other small plates ), super wines, service was exemplary with very knowledgeable staff and great atmosphere. Highly recommend a visit.

Nice but overpriced and stingy on the bread. The cheese plate for 2 came with a pathetic amount of bread and was clearly to encourage us to order more. A larger portion of bread appeared for £2.50. Given how pricy the place is, there's no real excuse for this and left a bad taste in our mouths. Would only go again if desperate, there are better places that aren't so enthusiastic about emptying your wallet. To be clear, the food tasted good, but the portions and pricing is poor, especially for accompaniments like basic bread.

Friendly staff, very attentive and organized. They know their specialities and provide good advice. With the last upgrade there is more room, which is fantastic. Don"t loose the opportunity if you are around

Hidden away on Ropewalk, Maltby Street, underneath the railway arches, Tozino is a very original place and we crossed London from Highbury to find it and have a light tapas lunch. José Valero. like the excellent ham he serves, is from the province of Teruel, Spain´s best kept secret. In addition to a plate of ham we ordered small green peppers, 'pimientos de padrón' and bread with 'alioli' with a glass of red Monastrell. Open in winter, Friday to Sunday; in summer from Thursday. Nice atmosphere, even if it was quiet on a Friday lunchtime, with hams hanging from the ceiling and modern Spanish music occasionally interrupted by trains rumbling overhead!

Great tapas at an exciting location. Amazing collection of wine with the atmosphere to match. Price is reasonable.

The staff is not busy enough on Fridays, pacing that small room, staring at you, and willing to take your glass when you are not even done. Not professional nor welcoming. The wine was fine though. That was a test, I will not come back.

The wine and food here feels so quintessentially Spanish - everything was such great quality and the portions were generous too. We especially loved the olives, baked sheep's cheese, and the artichokes were incredible! The house red wine is really delicious too, and the staff were friendly, knowledgeable and so attentive. Probably one of my top tapas experiences outside of Spain, and I'm already planning to visit again!

Everything is outstanding - delicious food, top service and amazing wines. Every dish on the menu was great - the pan con tomate, the sheep’s cheese, the octopus and the mussels were particularly notable. We had the wine of the week (a Tempranillo) and it was so good! The servers were attentive and helpful. Will definitely be back!

Awful awful awful service. We were literally told to leave the place for bringing in a burger from the food market after spending two hours worth of drinks and meals from this place for a big group. Owner has no idea of customer service and was literally told to never come back.

Stumbled across this whilst searching for craft beer but so glad we did! It was quiet but was lunch time but the food was too notch ! Couldn’t fault it

Lovely restaurant, service was absolutely brilliant! We were struggling to choose a wine and the waitress just give us a taste of both. The ingredients are fresh are stunning. No doubt we'll visit it again. Good price for high quality food in central London as well.

They have a very limited food menu - more of a wine bar than a tapas bar. The worst waiting service I've ever received. Tapas are meant to be small and quick dishes, but we ordered just two dishes and it took 30 minutes for the first dish to arrive which tastes okay. We waited 40 more minutes for the second dish which never arrived despite asking 3 different waiters about the second dish. At this point, we gave up and had asked for the bill which also never arrived so we went to the bar to pay and left. However, we had to return as they double charged. Not worth a visit, especially on busy weekend nights.

Just so nice....quirky place .People buying tins of olives over my head in a street full of street food stalls, the staff are really nice.Wine recommendation was spot on, food was fresh and so moreish.Even the tinned fish and bread that I had took on an amazing taste....maybe it was the place ,the atmosphere, the sun but I loved it and it definitely made a change from the more standard dining experience that I usually end up with .Would love to go back x

What a lovely little cubby-hole of a restaurant. A rich selection of Spanish tapas and snacks and an impressive wine list is not what you necessarily expect in an old arch under the railway line. Staff here were ever so friendly and came to remind us when the kitchen would close in case we wanted more.

Amazing atmosphere, brilliant staff (they gave us Filipinos biscuits), and the food is brilliant quality—high end ingredients, cooked simply to a great standard. The octopus is great: get more bread for the oil. Ask the staff about the wine if you have questions; they were really helpful and knowledgable.

This place specializes in serving delicious small dishes, with their excellent ham being a real standout. They also offer a wide variety of Spanish wines that perfectly complement the food. The decor is rustic and genuinely Spanish, which adds to the overall atmosphere. The staff are always friendly and attentive, making the dining experience even more enjoyable.

Authentic, value for money Spanish bar. Good selection of tapas including quality Jamón. Also Asturian cider. Owner is from Aragon in northeastern Spain. Highly recommended

Quaint tapas bar with great food and vibrant atmosphere, all for a VERY reasonable price. The staff were also lovely and we even got a free jug of sangria as they said they felt the last jug we had ordered was a bit watery (we were drinking it happily). Would highly recommend!!

We visited from Leeds for my 30th birthday and I was searching to find an authentic tapas place and I saw this one - it did not disappoint!! Lovely little restaurant, so authentic and exactly what I wanted. Food was so good, nice touch of the chef to tell us when the ham was from. Staff really friendly and attentive! What a treat. Thank you so much - hopefully one day we will be back!

Cute tapas place. Came for the market and happened upon it. Nice wine and tasty food. I definitely recommend the artichoke, the spicy sobrasada, and the pan con tomate. We also had the octopus which was ok. The service was friendly and the ambiance was nice!

Absolutely awful service and food was well below average. We ordered 2 portions of Croquettes, we waited over 45 minutes and asked on several occasions where our croquettes order were? During this every table around was getting Croquette orders, when questioning for 10th time a waiter confronted us saying that he did deliver us the food and that we were lying . Absolutely ludicrous. They then told us they had run out of croquettes after serving the whole world and it’s wife Croquettes apart from us. The prawns are all frozen defrosted and tasted very bad and not fresh at all, three of us all were vomiting within a few hours of eating them. The iberico ham is some of the worst we have tasted and certainly doesn’t deserve the price tag. When speaking to the bar man when we complained and he just turned round said ‘I know it’s shit’ and shrugged it off like it didn’t matter and i was just supposed to deal with it.I am a doctor and have very little time off and work hard for many days of the week and was looking forward to enjoying some time off with my family but this place did it’s best to ruin that. if you are in a similar position to me I suggest u avoid this place. Unpleasant food, unpleasant staff and an unpleasant experience.

Smaller menu then expected but considering the size of its kitchen, food was delicious and great atmosphere. Friendly service.

Great wine and Great Spanish Bellota jamon

First and last time here. Humiliating experience, never again, avoid at all cost. If you want a Spanish restaurant in the area clearly go to Andanza, service is significantly better and food (looks) tastier and more elaborated. Let’s explain why…so we (couple in a date night) arrive to the venue which looks decent for a cozy date night. The place offers 2 different seats inside or a few tables outside, it is busy but definitely not full. We decide to get a table outside, after a couple of min on the terrace waiting for service I walk inside to get drinks and a waitress tells me “you cannot get the drinks, wait for me to take the order, we are short of stuff it will take 10min”. 15min after our arrival, the waitress takes the order (for drinks only) as she takes the order for a table next to us. 15 min later we get the drinks, lovely wines to be fair. After 35min at the venue (I love to use the timer when reviewing new places) we get a waiter to take the food order from us, first thing we want they don’t have it. Interesting to see how from 10min of ordering a lovely couple next to us they get 2 items we also ordered, another table outside same things (croquettes and prawns). Meanwhile our food order is absent. 49 minutes after we arrive, a new couple arrives, they take their full order after 59 minutes (of our arrival, 10min after their arrival). We spot two individuals inside the restaurant that arrived after us already eating their hot food, I went to check that it wasn’t olives but cooked/hot food. I go to complain to the waiter that is nearby given that I have been one hour at the venue with no luck for the food, when the waitress spots I am complaining she brings the bread. The waiter tells me I can leave without paying given that I have been waiting for an hour and I show him my timer. After checking local options we go somewhere else (crystal China) 1h4min after arrival. Menu of Bar Tozino looks very nice but the service makes the experience unbearable, competition in restaurants nearby should be very pleased of the staff at this venue. Dreadful experience.

I come here regularly for the cheese, hand-carved jamon and excellent Spanish wine selection – occasionally sit down outside for a jamon flauta and a glass of wine. Super friendly and helpful, love Tozino!

Tozino is an absolute gem. Half way down Maltby St market (aka The Ropewalk), it's *the* place to sit and graze on authentic tapas and enjoy some beautiful vermouth. Maltby St can be a bit of a wind tunnel on a chilly day, so it's worth bringing layers. A little pricey but the food and drink is worth it.
