Great food, fantastic Spanish wine and brilliant service. Fantastic atmosphere and great place to celebrate a birthday.

Exceptional Spanish tapas experience! The food is delicious, beautifully cooked, and well-presented. The atmosphere is fantastic, with a vibrant and lively vibe that makes you feel welcome. Special shoutout to the bartender, Moamen, who was incredibly friendly and chatty, adding to the overall great experience. Highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a fun and tasty dining experience!

The taste was excellent, though a bit on the pricey side at £45 per person，I still felt a bit hungry after the meal.

Friendly professional service coupled with excellently prepared food. Wide variety of old favourites and some new tasty morsels to taste. House red is fantastic, superb flavour at a great price. We will be back!

Great Spanish style tapas and attentive staff. Food is tasty and nice. The place has been packed with people the two times I've been there on weekends, so booking a table seems essential. Watch out for loud groups of women that drinks too much lady petrol.

An excellent bar/restaurant with one of the best foods I have tasted in UK. As someone who was born in Spain, I can tell when Spanish food is good, and it was really amazing, both in quality and in preparation. The drinks you can get are also very varied with some great selection on wines, and the desserts are delicious (if you like cheesecake, you'll love theirs) Very friendly staff as well that can recommend anything you feel like eating or drinking and great atmosphere round up a wonderful place that I wish it was closer to my home.

I have been meaning to go here for a while and finally got around to it this evening. The food was excellent and so was the service, from a very nice and efficient young lady. I went for the early dinner menu which did not disappoint. I am looking forward to going back to try other items on both menus. I was also impressed with the house white wine, very nice. I sat outside and had a very pleasant evening.

This is maidenhead but prices are Mayfair, service not great , food arrived in drabs, had to ask for empty plates.to be cleared to make room on out table Once is enough , 12.5% service charge , what service ????

What a terrific find! We stumbled across this restaurant while roaming around the city centre, and at first we weren't sure if there were any vegan options. There are numerous options available, and the personnel is both friendly and professional. The barman is an expert, and he only employs high-quality ingredients. My mocktail was wonderful! Nice atmosphere, views from the canal, with wonderful music ranging from Gipsy Kings to Buena Vista Social Club.

Great service, very helpful staff. The food, as always, is delicious and a great range on their specials board should you want something different to the menu. There was a complementary glass of cava for the person whose birthday it was, which was a lovely touch. They serve a delicious light rose, of which we had a couple of bottles, plus a good few beers.

Great concept, great atmosphere, some polite waiters while others seemed lifeless with no smiles or humour. Food quality was not good, portion sizes were tiny (very small) while prices were double to what they should be, for tapas. Some meats were tough. We expected all tapas dishes to come together, but some were 20 mins apart and no apology given. To be quite frank, we felt robbed of our money, for the quality of food and service!!!

We walked in for a quick bite to eat without booking on a busy Friday but got a spot at the bar. The food was really delicious and with the live music and buzzy atmosphere we felt like we were on holiday! We watched the bar man make some spectacular cocktails which we didn’t have time to enjoy on this occasion but we plan to come back!!

Great food and great presentation. The only criticism would be the serving staff felt a bit green. They could improve their customer interaction.

We decided on an impromptu midday date at El Cerdo, and it did not disappoint. Without a reservation, we called ahead and were welcomed to dine before the kitchen closed. We opted for outdoor seating, which added to the pleasant atmosphere. The drinks were absolutely delicious; even the non-alcoholic options I tried were impressive. Overall, a delightful experience and of course the food was delicious. Another local place did recommend to anyone in the area.

El Cerdo is a very good choice if you are looking for nice spanish quality food. I regularly visit this restaurant as the staff is very nice, attentive and there is a very friendly environment. I always have a good experience and the menu offers spanish dishes with a very good price-quality balance. I am native from Spain and I can confirm that every time I go to El Cerdo I feel like going back home.

Really good selection of a variety of different foods, can pretty much cater for any dietary requirements. Food was fresh and tasty, sangria hit the spot. Service was attentive. The only thing I would say is that it is a tad on the expensive side, especially for lunch. However for an occasion or on an occasion its worth the expense.

Fantastic quality tapas, menu a bit limited but what is there is very very good if a little pricey. The tomato bread, bravas, croquettas, gambas, luma and txistorra con pimiento are lovely. House wine is perfectly good enough and the Estrella very smooth. We will be back many times

Some really great gluten free options on the menu. The food was delicious and our waitress was friendly and knowledgeable about the menu. I would highly recommend El Cerdo and am looking forward to visiting again soon.

We loved this place. Nice food and service. The staff were helpful. Varied offer with different pricing points. It is a tapas place so the portions are small, not your usual starter and main. For a couple with a good appetite maybe order 7 or 8 tapas to share. The mocktails were very good. Would come back without hesitation. Not sure if it is best booking as we walked in and there were tables, but maybe we were just lucky.

Hi. It’s a nice place on the canal so the atmosphere is amazing. I’m not sure what kind of Spanish tapas is tuna and egg salad coverd in mayo. Not nice. Sorry. Tortilla? It was ok. Mixed With shrimps not prawns. Sea food platter? Shrimps, some mussels and some a bit rubbery squid. On the good note; pork was great. Shame just a pork. Service amazing. PS crystal bread; maybe I was unlucky that day but it was cold and slightly soggy ciabatta bread with cold tomato paste/ purée. It was bizarre

Our lunch here yesterday was excellent. Very pleasant and knowledgeable service. An intimate venue with a great ambiance. The food was absolutely delicious. We loved everything we ordered. Lynn, the manager came to chat with us which rounded off our visit perfectly. We’ll be back. Thank you

One of the highlights of Maidenhead. A well thought out and varied menu encompassing cold appetizers, Spanish omelette, traditional meat and fish dishes and delicious salads. Priced toward the higher end, but nothing dissimilar to typical tapas prices. Each and every dish cooked to perfection with attentive, friendly service.

Third visit since I first went, back in May 2023. Then it was for lunch, this time for dinner. The place has only gotten better. The restaurant was packed, which helped create a great atmosphere. Despite this, service was absolutely on point with no waiting or hold ups even at the end when getting the bill. Unfortunately, I can't give a personal shout out to our server as I didn't catch her name, but she genuinely seemed to be happy there as she was always wearing a smile when she came to our table to check on how things were as well as clearing and providing dishes during the course of the evening. Likewise, the owner (if I remember correctly from previously) was helping at the tables and also very friendly. As for the food, everyone enjoyed everything. Overall, I've upped the stars to 5 for every aspect now - this is an excellent restaurant and one I will certainly return to. Again!

Food overall was really good. But I personally don't recommend the Tortilla El Cerdo, the meats on top were too greasy and the chorizzo was kind of crunchy. Patatas Bravas however was one of the best I've had. Good cocktails too.

Atmosphere was buzzing and the food was amazing. Every dish we had was well seasoned and flavoursome. Even managed to squeeze in a cheeky baileys and cognac after the meal! The staff, food and service was all on point, couldn't fault it at all. Keep it up guys, we'll definitely be back!!

Absolutely disappointed with this find, no music or atmosphere. Set up as a posh restaurant rather than an authentic Spanish tapas bar. Prices are expensive even compared to London outlay. Staff looked miserable but the owner was friendly and welcoming. Sadly after living in Spain and travelling from Bilbao to Malaga and everything in between this is more a tourist trap rather than a menu del dia kind of establishment. Sadly won't be returning which is a dire shame

We visited El Cerdo Maidenhead on Saturday night and the food and service were out of this world. We were served by Sina who remembered me from my previous visit, Isla and Aly. Between two of us, we had about 5 dishes and the portions were really generous. Really authentic Spanish cuisine - delicious flavours, and food I'd never tasted before. We also had delicious desserts from local business Epic Brownies and authentic Spanish baked cheesecake - so good. And the cocktails are amazing. Highly recommend a visit. Tucked away on the Waterways - for that continental vibe.

One of the best places to eat in Maidenhead . Been numerous times and it still is as vibrant as the day it opened . Great service from really friendly staff. You might not like everything on the menu but what you like is fantastic. It’s a Tuesday night pouring rain and the place is packed.

The food is nice…….well I only managed to have some cold tapas as the kitchen had closed when I got there….2:45pm. I suppose they were on siesta. The cold tapas were very nice but I had been expecting the full menu so I’ve got to say I was slightly disappointed. Overall though the experience was ok…..I know they have just opened so I suppose there are a few teething problems, a website with kitchen times would be useful🙏🏽 Hopefully my next experience here will be the real deal with the full menu on offer……….I am puzzled why they close from 3pm to 6pm in the kitchen???
