Ed's Easy Diner in Reigate and Banstead

Yesterday myself, my mum and my son were in London for the day and I had looked online and seen this place and thought it would be good to try somewhere different to eat. When we arrive we were greeted by a very friendly waitress who was working all by herself. Once we sat down she came straight over and asked what we would like. We started to say about a food order from the main menu, but she quickly told us that she was sorry but there was still 20 minutes to go with the breakfast menu. We said we would order our milkshakes and wait until we were able to order from the main menu so she took our order for milkshakes. Next minute she came back and told us that the chef had said that he was willing to start cooking from the main menu early so we didn't have to wait which I thought was really decent of him. She took our order and we got our drinks and food very quickly. The milkshakes were so good and the food really tasty. Also we didn't have any problems when my son wanted to use his student discount on the bill. All in all I would certainly come back to this diner and have my lunch and I think everyone should give it a try as the food is so tasty. Ten out of ten for me.

Visited here recently and was pleasantly surprised. We turned up about 5pm and were seated quickly,our order was taken shortly after and we didn't have to wait too long for our food. Food was tasty and drinks good. There wasn't many staff on and they looked like they were run ragged! However they were friendly and helpful. Would visit again.

On our way to the theatre, my 2 Dining Companions (DCs) and I needed to stop for a quick bite to eat, as the show was going to be a long one. After parking at London Victoria Station, we walked into Victoria Place Shopping Centre and perused the options available. After deciding we didn’t want ‘traditional’ fast food, we opted for Ed’s Easy Diner, which promised “American comfort food”. Ed’s has the look of a stereotypical American diner, circa 1950’s, with seating areas both inside and outside, if you fancy a spot of people watching, both offering table service. The floor was somewhat sticky to walk over in the outside area, we did not walk inside, but the tables were clean and welcoming. The menu, as promised, covers American classics along with breakfast, junior and gluten free options, all at a reasonable cost. We ordered from the mains menu, with me opting for the BBQ chicken and bacon stack (with sauces on the side), DC1 ordering a Coney Island foot long hot dog with onion rings, and DC2 a BBQ cheese and bacon dog with fries. Both DCs also ordered shakes. Our order was taken in good time, with the server being very friendly, and the drinks came out in under 5 minutes. The shakes were old school blended ice cream, milk, and flavouring affairs which were delicious, if a little too frothy. I feel like if they were left to sit for a time so you felt like you were drinking more than foam, the glasses would have been less than half full. Food was also quick to arrive, and was served on diner style trays lined with branded paper. Whilst I understand this is diner style, I’m not a fan of paper lined dishes under food that is likely to be eaten with a knife and fork as I find it gets damp and shredded up as you eat, and you end up with paper in your food. Paper aside, the meals were tasty, just as they were described in the menu, and hot. My chicken and bacon stack was set atop delicious onion rings, and served with little pots of BBQ sauce and melted cheese sauce, chips, and macaroni cheese. To be clear, this is not health food by any stretch of the imagination, when I say cheese sauce, it is essentially melted ‘plastic’ cheese, but it was suited to the food. I set the BBQ sauce aside however, as I am not a fan, but there was also mayonnaise, tomato sauce, and seasonings available on the table. The chicken is crumbed and fried (again, this is not health food), and layered with soft cooked bacon slices, and the chips are skin on, which adds to the flavour, in my opinion. The macaroni cheese was made with a different cheese sauce, and tasted homemade rather than the result of a packet mix. As is typically American for macaroni cheese, it also had chilli in it, which I enjoy. The hot dogs came in white bread buns, which were a little soft for my liking, as I like hot dog buns to have a bit more ‘chew’. The sausages themselves were nice, with an enjoyable texture and flavour. DC1 had chilli on his, which was very tasty, but needed a lift with some salt, topped with cheese sauce and jalapenos, whilst DC2’s dog was topped with chopped bacon, onion, and crispy shallots. This was tasty enough, but looked a little messy and unappetising. It would also normally come with cheese sauce and BBQ sauce over the top, which may have improved the appearance, but DC2 asked for this on the side. Thankfully, as our food had come out in good time, we didn’t have to rush through it and were able to enjoy our meals. Unfortunately, however, our server was busy reading menus when we wanted to get our bill and this held us up. I have to admit to being a little confused by this, as some plates had been cleared from our table whilst I was still eating, which I’m not a fan of, so we were clearly close to finishing. At the very least, I’d have thought she might have offered dessert menus, which would have offered us the opportunity to ask for the bill. In the end, we stood up and gathered our gear, as we thought we would just pay on our way out, and this spurred the server into action. To sum up: Atmosphere: Light and bright, pretty much what you would expect from a 50’s style American diner. Service: Fast and friendly, perfect for a casual meal. Lacked a little at the end however, but just get up and make to leave, they’ll be there in a snap! Food: Again, what you would expect from a 50’s style diner. You get what the menu suggests you will, and the food is well described as ‘comfort food’. Drinks: Tasty, but overpriced for what they are, in my opinion.

Only one person serving on a Monday evening? Others waiting over 15 minutes to pay. My order was taken quickly enough, and my drinks arrived pretty speedily but 20+ minutes later there’s still no sign of my food (ribs).

This restaurant used to be very good, unfortunately when we visited the famous Ed's, we found the quality of food were very poor with dirty restaurant floor and toilet. This restaurant needs lots of improvement specially the quality of food.

The food was good as usual but the blonde waitress (with the arm tattoo’s) that served us seemed uninterested in doing her job with more care and promoting any company’s good customer service. It took her half an hour for her to give us cheesy chips and another twenty minutes for the desserts we ordered. Not really what you expect when you walk into a family friendly restaurant...

Io e il mio ragazzo abbiamo preso delle costolette di maiale con Vicino patate e cipolle fritte (tutto compreso in un piatto) . Il maiale era immerso nella salsa barbecue (salsa bruciata) che solo l’odore dava la nausea e vicino c’era una coppetta di pasta al formaggio che ovviamente neanche abbiano considerato data la puzza e la consistenza. Abbiamo digiunato. Prezzi esagerati porzioni misere. Se siete italiani non andate!

I went here prior to an evening trip to St Paul's cathedral and had a late lunch at 2.30 ish. on 14th November 2.30pm I had a bottle of cider and the chicken goujons & a burger which looked really good on the menu, but when it arrived it was very tiny. It could have done with much more salad and the whole thing was really a very small eat. The starter of 3 goujons for nearly £6 arrived with the burger so I had to gobble the whole lot or both would have got cold. WHAT IS HAPPENING? YOU LIST THE STARTERS AS STARTERS SO WHY DO THEY COME WITH THE MAIN.? PLEASE GET A GRIP OF THE CHEF THAT DAY AND SHOW HIM MY PHOTOGRAPH. AND PREFERABLY FIRE HIM. The restaurant was not full and for a touristy site like VIctoria place it should be brimming. The staff at Giraffe Concepts need to visit Mitchell's and Butlers pubs notably Ember Inns ( Fox and Hounds Haywards Heath is my local ) and see what they do for £11.99 Their ultimate burger is really good and big and comes with salad, slaw and fries. I remember when Ed's had a branch on Fulham Road and it was "The" place to go, but it has gone and perhaps Giraffe need to look at taking the brand out of the high-rent locations and get it back into the nitty-gritty of the cheaper locations where people want to go for a good meal. The burger meat repeated on me as soon as I got up to leave and it did so all afternoon, plus it has a processed consistency which is quite gelatinous and dense It was,not a nice bite and I also thought there was far to much BBQ sauce, which came out out of the hole that the stick was in, and squirted out over my nose when I bit in. - Giraffe please go and see what others are doing - namely Five Guys, Ember Inns, Stonehouse, and then get your act together. Until you do, I will not be returning. If you would like help in improving your offering then please come back to me. I am not surprised for the low rating and poor reviews. GI

Food disgusting , the quality of food is very very poor . You can see that this chain is in big trouble . They should have closed them all down this year , avoid the one in Brighton . The food looked like pig swill being .

Went here after a trip to theatre, before catching train home. Server took order fairly quickly but it was all down hill from there. Ordered soft drinks, unlimited refills for two of them. After a long wait drinks arrived and the glass had more ice than drink, one order was wrong, banana milkshake looked good but was tasteless. Waited a further 30 minutes for main meal. We all had a foot long hot dog. The roll was dry as a bone, toppings non existent, the hot dog itself was burnt on one side, tough as boots and tasteless. Fries were barely warm, as were onion rings, slaw was ok, mac cheese looked like something out of a tin. £49.95 for 3 people, complete waste of money. Will never visit again.

I took my family for dinner at Ed’s Diner in London Victoria Station, after a show yesterday. To say I was disappointed is an understatement. It has changed drastically since our last visit. The portions were very small, the food was very poor and the presentation was awful. Our burgers were so overcooked, they were dry and crusty. Subsequently we did not order desert and were glad not to have ordered milkshakes, which we had been considering. Such a shame. A disappointing birthday meal for my daughter.

I didn’t know if I had a lot of time to eat as I had to catch a train within the hour. However after sitting on a table near the Chef, he Was so friendly and picked up my urgency, I said I did not mind what I had as long as it was quick, well the chef was incredible! I managed to have a full meal with drink within the time I needed. Hats of to him! Amazing!

Been here twice now and the food to us is spot on !! We made the one mistake of choosing the pizza buffet place one time during our break at work and that is NOTHING compared to this. It’s value for money and tastes delicious! The manager “FAYE” (I believe her name is) is also top class she cannot do enough for you, welcomes you with opens arms and is so friendly it just makes you want to keep going back!! We are definitely making this our #1 choice for future choices

Visited around late afternoon on a busy Saturday after spending the day in London. Haven't been here before but me and my brother really enjoyed the experience. The ribs and fries were great and the Reece's milkshake was massive! The service was fast and very friendly staff. It's really big inside so doesn't feel crowded and they didn't rush us out.

Had a meal here after a day’s sightseeing. Located in the food court of Victoria Place shopping arcade the upstairs location means it doesn’t get too busy - Ed’s is also located over the other side from the escalators so not so much passing trade. Victoria Place as a whole is a bit dated feeling like an 80’s shopping centre but the shops and restaurants there all look ok.We were able to get seated straight away, the staff were friendly and helpful and our food order came quickly. It’s standard American diner fayre but there was plenty of it and it was tasty. Dessert was ok but could have been better.Main bonus was that could use Tastecard here on a Saturday night so we saved a good amount of money.We had a reasonable meal here and would return.

This is my worst experience. The portions for the chicken and waffles were extremely small for the amount I paid. There is no bottomless drinks or ice tea. The waiters are extremely rude. I got lied to that there was no tap water and someone else asked for it and they gave it to them.

Hadn’t been to an Ed’s for a year or so and was so disappointed to learn that many of my favourite Ed’s locations in London have closed. Having raved about Ed’s to my kids and the whole Ed’s experience / theme, I took them to the diner at Victoria on Friday 9 August at c7pm.Overall, it was disappointing and no longer feels like the Ed’s that I had loved. Whilst the menu hasn’t really changed since my last visit, there’s no need for a foot long hot dog and where are the cooked onions rather than onion bits? I don’t want my hotdog decorated with ketchup and mustard; I want to add my own. The cheesy chips used to be chunky chips, not skinny and what’s with the strong seasoning? I loved the fact that Ed’s used to have that old American burger restaurant vibe (remember Happy Days and that kind of restaurant?), well that doesn’t exist any more.My kids didn’t know any different and enjoyed it (agreeing that there’s no need for a foot long hotdog). But, for me, Ed’s has lost something special - the eating experience and the good old vibe. I won’t be hurrying back.

Service here is a let down, friendly but very slow. Food is standard, similar to wetherspoons on quality. Worth looking for deals to maximise your budget.

I've never heard of them before, but after a long day, I needed to eat before taking a coach home. The staff were polite, friendly, and helpful. The meal came quickly, and whilst I was eating, they checked everything was OK.

Overall - it was quick delivery food in a pinch. Quality was 4/5 and they did mess up our order by giving us additional food, but that also means additional waste as it was delivered to our hotel. It’s quite greasy and familiar for Americans to comfort food.

I've loved the Eds vibe previously with really good food, I was quite pleased to find EDs before our Hamilton evening.I'm writing this (sorry to any staff - you can only work with resources given) as if anyone is figuring this EDs into a night out, just don't.Yo sushi at Waterloo do well in a station setting but this EDs at Victoria left us very disappointed.My burger was very undercooked - their food hygiene actually was anxiety provoking.The 'atomic fries' were not as described. Burger bun not fresh.We deliberated for a while with where to eat before a special evening and chose Eds.I expected an exciting tasty Eds meal, it was awful. It was a special occasion. Please avoid

Went to this location, in the Victoria Train Station. We've been to other locations before, and enjoyed the atmosphere and the food.It is an "open air" area in the upper level where there are many different restaurants from which to choose.The food was ok. The booths where we sat, and when looking at other booths, need an update. The vinyl seats are all cracked. Juke box at the table doesn't work.

Just had lunch, greeted by a bored looking server. On opening menu ,it was spattered with dried on food. Anyhow my friend was very keen to eat there. After ordering I noticed lots of tables with dirty.plates on and grubby tables .If it had been my choice I would of walked straight out. There was a total of 6 people eating so no excuse. Food came and it was fine . Milkshake very bland. Server had something about fries and smiles on his t shirt but he didn't smile once. I would eat there again .lacklustre service.

The staff were friendly, the food was great, very clean and looked after. No music which we only found out after we paid for a song. Would definitely go back again.

Similar to Johnny Rockets in US — 50s-style diner. Ordered a vanilla milkshake that tasted like cake batter not vanilla (not good) & it was not thick. Ordered a beer at the same time & had to re-order. Host/server cldnt care less.

We stopped in here for lunch as we had a 2 for 1 deal on meals and were in the area. I'm glad we didn't pay full price. The staff member that seated us basically put our menus on the table and walked off. We didn't know if we ordered at the table or the bar. The service time was okay, and the meal itself was just all right - nothing special at all. I wouldn't bother going back, not even with one of the meals being free. There are plenty of other choices nearby.

Un grupo de nosotros desayunamos, ya que nos encanta el tema de la cena y la gran música que se tocaba. Un montón de opciones y muy buena relación calidad-precio. El lugar estaba impecablemente limpio y todo ordenado. La camarera fue muy amable y profesional que ofrece mucha información sobre las ofertas especiales en el menú. La comida estaba recién hecha, caliente y muy sabroso. Una gran relación calidad-precio y no dejar la sensación de hambre. Todo era genial y Ed's Diner es una visita que vale la pena.

Fuimos en la mañana mientras en Victoria y tenía un desayuno sin fin. Era reacio a paso en primera como parecía escaso desde el exterior, y el único servidor (Paulina) era multitarea, pero ella era rápido en sus pies y muy amable, y se las arregló para hacer una pequeña charla con el muchos clientes ella estaba sirviendo. La comida estaba genial y en la segunda ronda del desayuno sin límite, el chef fue muy generoso con la porción, así que no tengo nada que quejarme de la comida. Estaba buenísimo. batido En general, una gran experiencia con quejas. Sin duda volveré de nuevo.

I guess it depends on how busy they are. Honestly my meal was good quality , value-for-money simple food. Properly cooked and served without any fuss.

Fui con mi tía a este restaurante cuando visité Londres. Mi tía tiene mucho que decir sobre este lugar como ella me decia que me dieron buenos batidos. Los precios son mucho más altos que otros tiendas de comida regular que he comido. Está dentro del centro comercial y es ruidoso. La comida no es nada para ser sorprendido. También el servicio es una mierda. Que una camarera y una cajera y que. Todas las personas que sirven en el restaurante, así que cuando necesitaba mi comida se cubertería ya antes de ellos. Nunca volvería a probar otros de sus platos. En cuanto a presentación, apesta también.

Verstopt in een hoekje van het foodcourt van Victoria Palace zit dit ontzettend leuke eettentje. Je waant je serieus in een ouderwetse diner ergens in Amerika. Compleet met jukeboxen, allerlei memorabilia en fijne rock en roll muziek. Ik heb er geluncht en wel met de breakfast-all day burger, frietjes en een cola. gelukkig werd de cola niet als in de VS geserveerd met bijna alleen maar ijsklontjes en een klein beetje cola. Gewoon een vol glas. De burger was overheerlijk. de prijs was redelijk. De service vriendelijk en snel. Kortom een aanrader

Visité Ed's Diner Domingo 29 de abril, ya que tenía 4 hora parada en Victoria. Así que me decidí a sentarse y comer aquí por aproximadamente 2 horas. Tuve la pila todo lo que era American Pancake llenarlo de jarabe de arce y bayas azules. Estaba delicioso! Yo también tenía una fresa gruesas Shake que era deliciosa. La cena era muy limpio y ordenado. Tiene un diseño fabuloso Rock n' roll y el ambiente. La camarera era atento, profesional, trabajador y muy amable. Ella incluso me dio mi factura sin siquiera tener que pedir que mostró gran iniciativa.

Teníamos hambre y decidimos investigar el último piso con patio de comidas en el centro comercial de la estación de Victoria. Entre McDonald's, KFC y Metro optamos por un lugar que parecía un prometedor para servir hamburguesas y menús estilo americano. Que el personal estaba dispuesto a explicar el menú, diciendo que era de auto explicativas. Después pedimos la comida tardó unos 20 minutos en llegar. Demasiado tiempo para una hamburguesa común. Las hamburguesas eran restos carbonizados y duro. Los aros de cebolla eran muy grasosa, casi tanto como cualquier otra cosa. Pagamos 48 libras por tres personas por comida, lo que estaba por debajo del nivel de las cadenas de comida rápida famoso. Ojalá nos fuimos a McDonald's. Por lo menos nos hubiera sabido lo que conseguiríamos.

Me dio ed una segunda oportunidad después de comer aquí hace un mes. Desgraciadamente, fue un gran error. La última vez que tuvimos una hamburguesa grasienta aburrido, con pan rancio, esta vez tuve un perro caliente con comida grasienta rancio pan rancio. La cerveza estaba fría, y el personal era agradable y servicial. Pero la comida, ah la comida, era simplemente basura. Hay calidad perro caliente/basura/perro caliente, hamburguesa y hamburguesa. Si te sirven una basura y su precios son dos/tres veces los de McDonald's, sólo tiene sentido. A pesar de que el personal no puedo dar Ed más de una estrella. Nunca más.

Cool place in Victoria Station. Service was excellent and with a positive attitude. We had a mishap with our order but the waitress made up for it by arranging all the required changes. Food overall was excellent and at a very reasonable price.

Un salto para un almuerzo rápido tarde antes de viajar; nos preguntamos cómo la comida larga llevaría como eran conscientes del tiempo; dijeron que no sería un problema. Tardó 10 minutos antes de que alguien volvió a nosotros para pedir comida, tomó otros 20 minutos (10 minutos) no era, tenía que conseguir para llevar, ahora prisa pero incluso esto fue olvidado. Parecía ser cero comunicación entre quienes trabajan allí! En el lado positivo, la calidad de la comida no estaba mal y el batido era agradable. Si en Londres hay lugares de 1000 se podía ir a comer; asegurarse de que éste no es uno de ellos.

Lo que ha sucedido a hamburguesas eds? ? Solían ser más delgada y más fresco, que ahora miran y sabe como ellos salieron del congelador.

Hemos llegado aquí por casualidad buscando un sitio para desayunar y la verdad es que hemos desayunado bien y a un precio razonable, teniendo en cuenta los precios de Londres. Huevos con beicon o con salchicha, y pankekes para los niños. Muy amables y se esfuerzan por entenderte aunque no tengas un buen nivel de inglés.

I wanted a quick meal after driving for three hours into central London and parking at Victoria.

Friendly prompt efficient customer service, I like very much these old style American type diner restaurants too. I ordered the chicken and bacon stack, delicious. I used my Gourmet Society card to get a 50% discount which is very generous of Ed's Easy Diner too. I'll come back here.

Tried a quick lunch here. Food was good, nothing to special. Servers weren’t really friendly, rather just mindlessly doing their job. I asked for my salad dressing on the side, which they forgot. Since it took quite long for them to serve the food, didn’t bother returning it. Boyfriend got the original burger,, which again was fine. The burger could have used a bit more sauce. Sweet potato fries were good. During our meal two employees actually got into a heated discussion which didn’t make out stay better. Won’t be returning here

Ottimo compromesso tra un fast food e un ristorante. I piatti sono gustosi e preparati con cura. Il locale è a tema anni ‘50, il che lo rende davvero carino e piacevole. I camerieri sono gentilissimi e molto disponibili.

Yo y mi padre vino aquí para el escenario del viejo estilo americano Diner y buena comida abundante. Cuando llegamos nos sentamos y rápidamente aparecen las menús de desayuno - la comida era buena hasta ilimitado nos dimos cuenta que era limitado a solamente un plato. Sin embargo, esto no fue un problema ya que por £20 nos dieron dos platos, dos bebidas y luego otro dos platos repetidos que eran gratis. El desayuno hamburguesa era fresco y delicioso, el mejor croquetas de patata que he probado en mucho tiempo!

Went here as a 3 for the bottomless breakfast and the food was very nice. I went for the chicken & waffles and it was very nice.

I've been to other Ed's Diner chains before and had good food. Unfortunately, this branch didn't live up to the restaurants reputation. I ordered a rack of ribs with waffle fries and added pulled pork. The fries were chewy, like they'd been reheated in a microwave and the ribs looked gross. They had barely any sauce on them and looked almost grey in colour. The tasted almost as bad as they looked. The pulled pork was the only bit that was really edible and it also tasted like it had been warmed up. There was only one server in the restaurant and he was very nice and helpful.

Lived in London many years ago and whenever I visit, always make it point to come to Eds. This time round though i understand a change in management has taken place.

Walked round Victoria plaza about 5 times trying to decide on where to eat before my 5 hour journey back home. Not had breakfast so starving hungry. Decided on eds diner due to one line on the menu

I wen to Ed's for a lunch. I had a hot dog with onoin and cheese. It was just amazing! The staff were nice too.

Locale carino (in stile usa anni 50) in Victoria station. 30 sterline per una cena in 2(meno a londra a parte McDonalds è impossibile. Abbiamo preso un piatto di pollo e una Cesar salsa,2 bottiglie d acqua(visto altissimo!)e un dolce. Nella mediocrità londinese offre un buon rapporto qualità prezzo. Camerieri gentili. Non ce il servizio da pagare a parte come in altri locali

My partner ordered the breakfast burger and I ordered he pancakes. Both so horrible and inedible. Worst money we’ve spent.

Came here to eat lunch during a weekday lunch hour. Waiter grabbed some menus and showed me to a table.

Really really inedible. Ordered steak here, it should be removed from the menu. It looked like a very small old bit of shoe leather. When I pointed it out to the waitress her response was she was just the waitress. When I then stated that if staff are incapable of cooking steak it should not be on the menu. She then asked if I wanted to use the tipping facilities on the card machine!!

Please try this place, staff are extremely friendly and service is fast. An absolute must is there milkshakes!!

Wir waren diese Woche gleich zwei mal da! Die Burger sind echt super, das Essen ist zügig am Tisch und auch mit kleinen Kindern eine gute Wahl. Das Personal ist erste Klasse und mit Spaß dabei. Beim nächsten Londontrip immer wieder!

Ed's Diner está situado junto a un número de otros puntos de venta cadena de restaurantes en la planta superior de Victoria. Rápidamente nos sentamos y orden tomado. Sólo tenía un poco de bocado de desayuno y un café. Esta fue atendida rápidamente y era muy sabroso.

Una gran cena - tenía la hamburguesa cajún, que estaba fresca de verduras, y sabroso (nota, tiene el queso) y la fantástica, patatas fritas crujientes de camote. Muchos sitios dan batata patatas fritas equivocada, pero estos están en el punto. No podría elegir entre postres pero terminó con el refresco que estaba justo - refrescante y sabrosa. Personal (y el director) no podía haber sido mejor. Realmente, fue una experiencia muy agradable.

Visitamos aquí el 19 y 21 de julio de 2017 street durante nuestra estancia en Londres. Hemos usado estos dos veces antes de vez en Birmingham y de nuevo en Manchester.

We chose to have a quick meal here while waiting for a train, it wasn't very busy so knew it would be quick. The burger was dried up and tasteless, the salad was okay. But certainly won't bother again. Oh enjoyed the 1950s/60s music!

Our last day in London, on 18th June. Had a fab breakfast of three huge american style pancakes, maple syrup, bacon, (3 slices of nice crispy streaky), and fresh blueberries. Very reasonably priced I felt.

Nos enteramos esta cena antes vinimos a Londres y realmente no lo alto en la lista de 'prueba obligada. (Cuando tienes que comer gluten y tienes hambre para tomar lo que se puede conseguir, no tienes muy delicada. . ) es un American Diner, comida rápida, lo bueno puede ser?

Después de mi luna de miel con mi esposa en Barbados, volví a Londres con el estómago vacío. Llegamos a la estación de Victoria y nos dirigimos hasta el patio de comidas, en busca de algo para comer.

Por lo que era un tranquilo restaurante, el servicio era muy lento y desarticuladas. Ni una sola orden llegamos juntos en cualquiera de las mesas que observamos durante nuestra visita. Bebidas tardó más de 15 minutos en llegar y la comida en nuestra mesa llegamos a 5 intervalos de un minuto. Tardamos una eternidad en pagar. No vamos a volver.

Deambulando tratando de encontrar un lugar donde comer, vimos este precioso American Diner, metido arriba. No aguanta mucho la esperanza de algo, pero pocos papas fritas, pero para mi agrado tienen un completo menú sin gluten gratis. El personal era estupendo y muy amable y servicial. Totalmente hizo mi día.

Nos detuvimos a descansar y en tomar un bocado antes de tomar un tour en bus. El servicio era bastante bueno. Nos quedamos agradablemente sorprendidos de encontrar que los refrescos eran servidos con hielo y un trocito de lima, y las recargas gratis! Teníamos una hamburguesa, Sandwich de pollo frito y patatas fritas. Los bocadillos eran servidos en panecillos frescos brioche. El pollo era más pequeña que el rodillo, pero caliente y sabrosa. La hamburguesa y patatas fritas eran muy bien también. Rock and Roll de la vieja escuela jugando mejorado la experiencia. No está mal para la comida a la estación.

Casi nunca deje ningún tipo de feedback negativo. Pero este lugar era más que decepcionante. Nos alojamos en el hotel Grosvenor, que abre a la estación de tren Victoria durante nuestras vacaciones de 8 días en Londres y visto esta cena en el patio de comidas de la estación. Es un bonito estilo retro de los 50, así que cena decidimos darle una oportunidad. Que resultó ser un error fatal.

El restaurante parecía guay, así que mis amigos y yo decidimos cenar allí.

Fuimos a comer mientras esperábamos el tren camino al aeropuerto. Lo primero nos trajeron colores y juegos para los niños, cosa que se agradece. El personal súper atento y amable. Se equivocaron en una cosa y no dudaron en disculparse y vino el encargado personalmente a disculparse. La comida buena y el sitio divertido para los niños.

I came here 3 months ago and left a review on google but no response so thought I'd leave one here now. I had lost my card and was waiting for a new one, so only way to pay was via Apple Pay, I went to eds diner and as a woman came over to seat us I made sure to ask if they took Apple Pay. She said yes reassuringly, then sat us at a table, when we asked about a deal we had, she said she didn't know as she was new, (fair enough) when it came to paying a different woman came to us, when I took my phone out she said we couldn't pay via Apple Pay, so then a manager came over and he basically made us feel like we were trying to con him with the way he was looking and talking to us. After explaining to him that a member of staff obviously was new and didn't realise that they didn't take Apple Pay, he kept saying nobody is new here and no staff would say this.he then said he would go and find out where the closest Barclays was for me to go into and get money out.after a few minutes of waiting I went and found one without his help, when I came back I paid and my partner told me he never came back to say where the closest Barclays was and a different manager had come over to ask if she wanted to complain and that she knew who the new person was. Wasted half an hour of our time, poor management and never even got a sorry. Won't be coming back, over priced for average food anyway.

We were looking for a quick dinner near Victoria, and I had noticed Ed's Diner before and was curious to try it. There is a good effort to recreate the ambiance of a US diner from the 50's, even if it is still part of a large hall in a train station, which partly spoils the effect of the décor. I brought the family, including my daughter who is vegetarian and had graciously trusted my description of a succulent halloumi burger or halloumi salad which I had spotted in the menu on the web site. Unfortunately, they had run out of halloumi, but the waitress tried to find something which my daughter could eat, and after some deep analysis of the menu and intense consultation with the cook we settled on two humble fried eggs plus plain salad, quietly smuggled out of the breakfast menu which they do not serve at dinner. The food was not great overall, not that we felt sick or anything like that, but the burgers were overcooked dry and the buns simply crumbled away in our hands; worse of all, the fried eggs were brought late and completely cold. On the other side, onion rings and French fries (though in London, within the boundary of a US style diner I refuse to call them chips) were good. Overall it was OK., but I felt bad about my vegetarian daughter who stoically downsized her dinner to French fries (not chips), onion rings and fried mozzarella stick as lonely companions of the two cold fried eggs. The bill for the four of us was £ 60, for three mains (the humble cold eggs do not qualify as main), four sides and four beers. I am perhaps too severe with this rating, as I give credit to the staff who tried to salvage the situation as they could (I left a full tip), but I doubt I will go back.

Fuimos a la sucursal de victoria para un bocado rápido para comer antes de ir al cine. Pedí el menú ed es fácil comer-, un original hamburguesa con bacon, que venía con patatas fritas, y una cerveza sin alcohol. La hamburguesa estaba bien preparado (no rosa) y cosas muy abundante. Cerveza sin alcohol era delicioso. El personal era amable y atento, y el restaurante estaba muy limpia y ordenada. Volvería otra vez para probar el perro caliente que parecía muy sabroso, y la madera que eran recomendados por mi servidor.

El personal era grosero y abiertamente hostil hacia nosotros, no había "hola" o "buenas tardes". Como han dicho otros, bebidas tardar años en llegar y un filtro de café es absurdos precios razonables a 3 libras!

Vine aquí para el desayuno, pero habíamos perdido el corte. Contrariamente a las denuncias de mala educación aquí, sin embargo, el personal era servicial en lo que concernía a realizar un 'Personalizado' Desayuno con tortitas de el menú de postres y añadir el tocino.

Had a nice and filling breakfast. Coffee was not refilled very quick but all in all an ok breakfast.

Went to Ed's Victoria yesterday. Had the original burger and sweet potato fries - really delicious. To be frank I was impressed by the entire service, from friendly greeting, clean table, prompt and helpful service and tasty food. Thoroughly recommend.

Please save your money and eat somewhere else, it is awful food here and slow service. Took 15 mins for shakes to arrive and a further 30 mins for a dry burger and microwaved chilli. Disgusting.

Visited here on a Saturday lunchtime and was instantly greeted by a friendly waitress who took our order. Food came out quick and was piping hot and delicious! Will definitely be back next time we are in London!

Its in a convenient place and good for lunch time meetings, the atmosphere is like an American Diner and reminded me of the Mel's Diner in Happy Days.

Decidí venir aquí después del invierno sorprende ya que la ubicación es ideal (en la estación) y me pareció que la mayoría de los restaurantes de la zona eran muy caros. No tengo ninguna queja de este lugar, sin embargo, el servicio era muy lento y los pedidos eran enredada. Otro inconveniente era que los cubiertos estaban sucios y tenemos que solicitar nuevos. Aparte de lo que el precio es razonable y las hamburguesas son normales.
