Papa Johns in Reigate and Banstead

Exactly the same issue as other recent bad reviews. The delivery was much later than on the tracking app, the tater tots were barely cooked and the pizza was delivered luke warm and lacking cheese

I ordered online and I have to say the pizza was literally THE best!!! The quantity of toppings and cheese was superb!! And it was cooked to perfection!!!!

Terrible, tracker doesn’t even work properly and then the number they provide isn’t even working properly?

The potato tots seemed to be cooked with thoughts and prayers, we ended up putting them in the airfryer to cook them. The crust on the pizzas was doughy and the cheese seemed to have only just melted. The ham and pineapple pizza was mostly pineapple with the faintest hint of ham. The cheesey garlic sticks may have at one point been in the room with some garlic but you certainly couldn’t taste any, these were also very doughy. Our order took a while to come, with the app telling us that it had already been delivered about 20 minutes before it actually did get delivered. The number on google and the website has been disconnected so you cannot contact the store to complain. Any other store you contact will just give you the same disconnected number and tell you that there is no head office or anyone else to contact.

Took over an hour to arrive, tracker didn't update for 40 minutes between checking & cutting and on it's way. Said it had arrived, didn't for another 10-15 minutes. Unsurprisingly stone cold, undercooked and inedible. Used to be my go to, never again. Stay away at all costs, barely even cooked, 1 slice in and already regretting touching it

Honestly not worth it, don’t waste your hard earned money. It takes forever, well over an hour from when you’ve ordered, on a weeknight! they deliver multiple pizzas in one delivery so unless you’re first, it arrives stone cold. You’re better off with an oven pizza. Crap!

since they use uber as delivery for there food its dry and Luke worm through it in bin it sits around until they pick it up on the sit it showed it ready but it didnt get picked up for 30 mins

I came In and ordered pizzas and when I got home they gave me the wrong pizza the cook was rude to me when I was there as I was 48p short as forgot my card so then decided to give me a pizzas with no toppings I asked for bbq base and he put a tiny bit on ans said if I want bbq I need to pay £2.70 for it which I refused so he decided to then not put any toppings on when I called the shop to make a complaint the cook was rude to me again and shouted and put the phone down I called back asked for his name he gave me a fake name and when I said u have just made that up he said yes he has made it up! Absolutely disgusting behaviour from your staff rude nasty and liars and food not even cooked how it should be will not be using this place again and will be warning others about it to

If you don't have the dip I ordered then give me my money back. Don't send me things I don't want and expect me to pay for it.

I think 90 minutes is way too long to wait for a pizza delivery. Their tracker said it was out for delivery after 30 minutes and then follow up calls when it didn't arrive just result in excuses. We're not difficult to find. Pizza was pretty much cold, no apology from the driver. Very poor. Do not use.

I really don't recommend this place at all! Deliver took more than an hour and they missed one food. When I called them, they will deliver it within an hour. Never delivered a missing food and no one is answering the phone now! very disappointed with service! Never told us to say sorry.

Food took ages to arrive, was luke warm when it did. All the pizzas generally tasted the same, pretty boring, nothing like Papa John's quality. Was given a free pizza on my next order but not sure I will order again. Only noticed all the other negative reviews after sadly.

Ordered food over an 1hr 30min ago spoke to restaurant said it would be 10 more minutes and was with the driver. Shop now not answering the phone and no pizza in sight at the 1 hour 30 mins mark

From my own experience with Papa John's Banstead with the cost of living the pizzas 🍕 can last me a Four Days 🙃 and still tasty from the fridge and the price is very good and times are hard for everyone. This could be the next Tic Tok challenge 💡 I made a mistake of going to Pizza Hut the pizza tasted like cardboard and why do they spray the pizzas with chemical cheese.

This place gets worse and worse. Somehow forgot to add bbq sauce to a bbq pizza, which was luke warm by the time it arrived. Delivery driver bombed it down the drive with music on full blast. Last time I bother with papa johns.

Horrendous. I’ve never had such bad service and bad food. Pre ordered on the Papa Johns app for 6:30. 7pm no sign of delivery, called the branch and was told the driver is out with the order. 7:30 still no sign, second call made and was advised again the driver is due to deliver it shortly, when asked won’t it be cold we were told it had only just left. 7:40 it finally arrived. Cold. Like yesterday’s leftovers. Third call to the branch and was offered a free side dish on our next order. There won’t be a next order. £30 of take away in the bin. Don’t waste your money.

Just ordered a medium double pepperoni pizza tonight in the Papa Johns. I didn't check it when I collected it, surprise surprise when i got home, they gave me a vegetarian cheese and peppers pizza...

Terrible service, terrible staff. Have sent the wrong order but refuse to accept or rectify the problem. Have previously had a bad experience here around delivery but gave them one more chance. Never again. Completely incompetent. Stay well clear of this place.

Just had the worst pizza in my life not cooked and very late as we order very early so they should be no problem at all and the manager there was trying it on the phone I think my dog won't eat it

Appalling service, Mane the manager was rude and Di not care. Food was cold, seals were broken and order took well over 90 minutes. Wanted to collect pizza for a refund told him he was more than welcome and then didn't want to collect it. Worst service and food ever. Please avoid!!

It took 2 hours and 3 telephone calls to get my pizza! The gentleman on the phone kept saying that it was just another 15 minutes and that it was on it’s way. Very frustrating. ☹️

This pizza franchise in Banstead cannot deliver on time even if the driver had eaten one of its hot specials coursing through his veins. Ordered the food through the app and took an hour to arrive. Pizzas were warm at best. Had phoned before the pizzas arrived and chased and was assured the food be hot and driver be there shortly. No apology for it being late or anything. This has happened a few times and now likely switch to dominoes or pizza hut. It's a shame as the papa John's are good pizzas, but this branch let's the brand down spectacularly. If they had apologiesed for the tardiness and offered a compensation of some sort then that would be something, but their attitude is dismissive when you're asking about your order. Perhaps will try the rose hill branch and see if they do better. So if you want a hot pizza and effecient delivery stay well clear and perhaps best to collect in person if you must order through bansted.

We always order our pizzas from Papa John's, been their regular customer for years. Tonight cold pizzas again and they didn't send the two pots of ice cream. Called them at 9.10pm and they said they would send a driver....waiting...waiting so I called at 10.10pm and he said sorry we are busy and forgot!! Forgot twice?? Oh we can send it next time you order, NO!!!! Let's see if it turns up....a few weeks ago.we received a severely burnt cookie cake and I.didnt complain. Will find elsewhere its really gone downhill at banstead. Shame as delivery drivers are great.

If I could give them no stars I would. Firstly, our order was delivered and it was a completely different order for a different house (address is on the boxes) so I called and they said they would bring me my order. The delivery driver tries to ask for the food back which we have opened the seal already and then he hands us our food with all the seals broken to it so someone else has opened it. It's gross and with COVID going on at the moment I would've thought there would be better precautions. Absolutely disgusted.

Papa Johns as a pizza chain I've always been a customer. However Banstead - you need to get your s*** together. After last weekend, I'll be going to Dominos. This is not the first time my food has sat in "quality control" for over half an hour after being cooked, it's clearly just sat there on the side with no one delivering it. By the time it arrived both pizza and sides were cold. The melted cheese on the tots was hard. Never, never never order delivery from Papa Johns Banstead unless you are picking up the order yourself. They clearly have timing issues from kitchen to delivery.

Worst papa John's service ever! And that's saying something, waited over an hour and a half and pizza never arrived, when we called staff were very rude! We were placed on hold for minutes at a time and hug up on at least twice! When we did speak to someone we were then lied to and told the pizza was on its way which it never was after the forth or fith call and countless run around including being hung up on again we were told they had no idea what had happened and were making it again, We cancelled the order and did what we should have done in the first place and went to Dominos Also at the time of writing this (24hrs later) we are still awaiting a refund

Have been using Papa Johns in Banstead for delivery to my work and can honestly say have never had a problem with an order being wrong, the food is always on par and delivery is always quick.

Pizza was lovely, even the base was delicious, i usually always go out of my way, to dominos dorking but last two dominos pizza's was horible, so papa johns now is the best

I am only giving 1 star because there’s no option for no stars! Visiting my Mother and as I use Papa Johns in Worthing, thought I’d get one from Banstead. Shouldn’t have bothered! On the tracker it said pizza was on its way. 30 minutes later it said “enjoy, your food has been delivered” only it hadn’t. Rang the shop and was told it was on its way and it wouldn’t be cold 🤔 Food arrived 10 mins later, basically cold pizza and potato things. Phoned shop and agreed to half a refund and microwave the food. Mushrooms were dried out and old. Topping was not good. Will not use again or recommend 😡

Food is always cold, and takes 1-3 hours despite only being 10 minutes away. I only order because I like the dip more than other places.

Pizza was really good, however delivery time was long I understand it’s difficult to deliver to all at once. Delivery drivers were kind and my pizza wasn’t cold👍🏿. Will recommend this place

In my lowly opinion, the best pizza in the Epsom area. 😋. Much better deals if you collect. Also hotter if you collect as they may deliver to several addresses in one run. If you are last, your pizza will have cooled.... 🙁

Inedible cold pizza, that went in the bin after the first bite. The delivery driver was more interested in a chat than delivering hot food... telling me all about the people who used to live in my house despite my stating I'd lived in the property for 20 years.

Placed an order for home delivery. Had a BOGOF offer. Ordered a large sausage & pepperoni pizza & large marguerita. The pizzas arrived promptly & were hot & ready to eat straight away. Very nice.

This place is my local pizza place, I've been using these guys alot over the years. To be honest, they've done the job but its never been great and with a cold pizza being delivered well over an hour and a half after ordering and it not being the first time its happened. I'm sad to say that me and my boy papa John are splitting ways.

Rude delivery driver, cold pizza. Delivery driver called to say he's outside but he was not. When pizza arrived it was cold. Also he open mouth coughed when handing over my order which was gross.

Collection, 2 any size pizzas for 9.99 each. I ordered well over a year ago from here and it was awful but I took another chance and ordered yesterday and it was the best pizza I've had in a while, the dough was really fresh and the pizzas was wonderful - tandoori spice and the Greek. I'd collect then get a delivery, it quicker and avoids driver errors too.

Very disappointed by my order last night. We have been wanting to try the new hotdog pizza as it looks so good from the pictures online. We ordered two XXL pizzas, spent about £30 and we were so gutted when the pizzas arrived and they weren’t drizzled with mustard like in the picture, they were dolloped with it all over and as there was so much mustard the taste was too overpowering and made the pizzas inedible. We couldn’t believe they even sent it to us like that as it was clear as soon as we saw it. None of the family liked the taste and after having to scrape all the topping off of the first few slices we were all put off and it went in the bin. In the process of having my complaint looked at as I want my money back. Steer clear of this pizza!!

Ordered well in advance for a timed delivery. Website said it had been delivered but didn't arrive until more than 30 minutes later. Only response from Papa Johns was "we're busy". Very, very poor service.

Ordered food for 4 people. App showed food had arrived 15 minutes before it actually arrived. Arrived late and cold due to an accident. Could have called us to let us know. Didn't. No refund offered. Worst delivery service, ordered before like one hour and on following up I was told that we only do collection , then again called and they replied apparently there is a big accident near by, even on checking on google maps found nothing of the sort, another pizza company guy even delivered within 25 minutes of the order!!!! Never do order with them!!!

Took 1 hour and 3 mins. Phoned through and told it would be 10 minutes but it had left, it’s a 5 minute drive!! Pizza arrived stone cold and when he took it out of the pizza bag a quarter of the pizza was just hanging out of the box. Never again, dominos next time!!!!!!

Have used Papa Johns Banstead a couple of times and been happy with the pizzas on both occasions. The pepperoni pizza is really tasty. Not so keen on the bbq chicken wings, as the sauce is a bit too rich for me. Would use again.

Unacceptable - incredibly disappointed. We ordered 2 pizzas: a vegetarian create-your-own pizza which came with pepperoni! As vegetarians this was obviously not ideal. The other pizza was supposed to have bbq sauce on it and it did not. On top of both pizzas being incorrect, the drink was also wrong. If you want pizzas with the wrong toppings on, order from here.

Awful service. Waited over an hour and a half for a cold pizza. I called them up and it was agreed that I would get a refund. I never received the money, in response I called them several times where by they have hung up on me each time and also sent them an email from their website which they have not replied to.

Store originally could not deliver pizza ‘as was too late’ over an hour before closing. I subsequently sent an Uber to collect the pizza. They then told me because of inconvenience I could have a free pizza next time. Well this time has just come. Spent 15 minutes on the phone, was hung up on, and argued at. Eventually managed to explain my case and had order sent. Pizza that has arrived looks and tastes like it was made yesterday!! Come on, I know this was on the house, but really....!? Can’t say I’d recommend.......

Such a shame! Last pizza ordered arrived cold, called and was pleasantly surprised when manager offered a free one next time. Fast forward to tonight and pizza arrived cold again, called and lady said oh well! Won’t use again.

Ordered a few times from here, and on most occasions the order was wrong in some way... and in some cases the pizzas have been absolutely dreadful. If I’m in the need forfoid like this I.e a blazing hangover I prefer to order from dominos.

The pizza arrived hot and quickly. I was very impressed, unfortunately the new deep pan pizza is horrible. It has a nasty off-buttery taste to it. Like that horrible free sauce u get with it 😝 I'm normally into my deep pan pizza, However on this occasion the pizza had an artificial off taste to it. My bf eats anything and even he only had one slice (which says it all) Sides and service were great. So a 50/50 review

Still waiting for my order to arrive...2 hours later! Have had good service from here before and politeness on phone but no use if your delivery drivers are taking hours on a 15 minute drive!

Not very impressed, if someone's job is to take an process orders in ENGLAND... I would have thought speaking English would be a pre requisite..?? Driver then forgot our drinks and promised to be back in 10 minutes with them and nothing 45 mins later!

Hate to be that guy to leave a negative review, but these guys are absolutely useless. I've used them about 5 times, and not I've have the got my order correct. Literally completely the wrong pizza once. Spoke to them on the phone and they said they would credit my account with a free pizza. Which I thought was very fair. Until I tried to redeem that pizza, to which they responded with "we have no record of that on your account." Another time I ordered a BBQ a dip and they sent me an empty pot. Haha. Useless. Absolutely useless. Never using them again.

Have used this place every week over the last 4 weeks and service has been excellent until the last visit. The manager got my order wrong and I didn't check until I got home because the level of service previously experienced had been so good. Lesson learnt!!

If I mention pizza to my daughter, the first thing she says is "Papa John's". We are newbies to this pizza parlor and have only been using it for about a year but we have never been disappointed both with the pizzas and the service, both delivery and collection. There is a great range of pizzas, the prices I think are quite reasonable, they always have a great range of specials or discounts, and the choice is really good. I'm sure at some point we will be disappointed with something but that's normally for any sort of restaurant, delivery service, outlet these day. Nothing's perfect. If it was, it would be so boring.

Ordered 2 pizzas & sides online on a Monday night. Took over an hour to deliver, pizzas cold. Manager did apologise & offer free medium pizza with next order but there won't be another order I'm afraid.

My Son and I have ordered many pizza's from Papa John's recently. We have had no problems with delivery normally take 30mins if ordered ASAP on website.Quality of pizza is lovely and depending what you like we think it's better than Pizza Hut and Dominoes!...
