Pizza Express in Reigate and Banstead

Sherralee was amazing, we went to restaurant 17 March as it was St Patrick’s day. Sherralee was so professional and excellent customer service.

As always, our experience was top notch. The team at the Reigate Pizzeria is absolutely superb. They remember us and are so attentive and welcoming. They come to the table just the right amount of times to see how things are doing and interact with us and our young children so well. Whenever we get the chance to, we go there for a meal and always know we will have a great experience. Thank you all and we are already looking forward to returning.

Lovely branch of pizza express. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Nice atmosphere inside and nice location. Use the app to check for offers and discounts available. Like with all pizzas express restaurants in the UK, the food quality has gone steadily down hill with cost cutting and prices have risen considerably.

Brilliant and worthwhile experience for my granddaughter's birthday

The food was great, on the other hand the service was rather horrible, i was served by an older blonde lady who was very blunt and rather rude with how hasty we were being when it came to ordering. When i was downstairs in the toilet, i also overheard a man arguing with w delivery driver who i had just met and was rather nice, horrible experience, i do not think i will be dining here again. Do better.

Sadly last night marks the end of a bi-monthly dinner with friends at pizza express in reigate as the last few times we have been, it's been a disaster-class in poor service, and bad food with a number of items removed from the menu. Last night our dough balls took an hour to arrive (with no plates), my pizza only had 2 tiny slithers of goats cheese and was undercooked, my friend had no dressing for her salad and the breadsticks were burnt. We had to ask for cutlery, we sat with our starter plates and empty cans for the duration. It was busy to start with and I bet the takeaways were out the kitchen on time. The staff were friendly, but there was no apology for any of the issues we had which is such a basic part of customer service. Reigate has so many other options that we won't be going back.

Haven't been in this Pizza express for many years but my experience there tonight was wonderful, the staff both on the floor and doing the cooking were so friendly and helpful especially Sheri Ann , she is a credit to the business, look after her and all the staff because it's not easy getting great employees like you have in Reigate, well done

Place was horrible had to wait in line for 15 minutes when there was multiple cleaned and ready to be used tables that had no reservations then we had to wait 50 minutes for some dough balls and 2 pizzas overall horrible time just spent over an hour getting ignored

My mum and I had dinner here this evening and everything was superb. We were greeted very warmly at the door and sat very quickly. We then had the loveliest waitress called Sherralee who could not do enough for us. She was attentive, hardworking and in all honesty an asset to your team! The food was amazing as usual but Sherralee was just as amazing. We shall definitely be coming back.

Came to pizza express Reigate today and had the best service ever !! We had lovely Ellie take our table , who was very chatty and very quick with all our food and drinks . Reece was the manager on shift as well and I have never seen a manger so kind and attentive throughout the evening . Food was fab as per usual too

Always enjoy pizza express , but we waited an hour for our food , waited ages just to get a drink. Not sure if they were short staffed. Staff were friendly but the service was just slow. Food was great.

Another great visit to our local branch - this time visiting with two other families with young children and we had a super experience. Special mention to Reece who looked after us brilliantly - he was kind, patient and very friendly. Thank you as always for a great family meal out.

They changed their menu and cut back on vegan options, so it's no longer a good restaurant to have a good vegan pizza.

poor service, small portion sizes and cold pizzas. we both ordered the same pizza and one looked like a 5 year olds creation and the other was cold. both were soggy. Had to wait 30 minutes to order although it wasn’t busy the staff were just chatting. We were seated in the middle of the restaurant and although we asked to sit elsewhere we were told no as the other tables were reserved although no one sat there the whole time we were there. Would not recommend

We had a fantastic opportunity to celebrate my daughter’s 9th birthday with a pizza-making party at Pizza Express, and it turned out to be the best birthday ever! A special thank you to Reece, who made the evening unforgettable for the kids. His dough-tossing tricks, patience, and cheerful attitude made the experience so much fun for everyone. If you’re considering booking a pizza party for £15 per child—don’t hesitate! Weekends get fully booked, but we had the entire lower floor to ourselves on a Monday, which was perfect.

Waited 1hour 30minutes for a pizza on a Wednesday night, when it was quiet. They completely forgot to put the order in.

Great pizza, light and crisp base.

Even though we had a reservation, they made us wait for 10-15 mins for our table. We were really hungry so ordered quickly in 5 mins but waited more than 1.5 hours for it. While waiting for our order, take-away pizzas were getting ready and sent out for delivery. It was incredibly rude that they give priority while making in house customers wait for their food for hours. It was 1 hour 45 mins after our order when we decided to leave the place without any service. So left the place hungry and angry. Never visiting that branch ever again!

We love coming in here with the kids after school. The staff always make us feel very welcome and are great with the kids, especially when one of our party got a little upset, they are an asset to your company, especially Farok and a lady who serves us regularly when we go in, she is amazing. My family and I went into the Reigate branch yesterday, we were shown to our table by James the new manager who made us feel very welcome, he explained all the offers and how everything worked we were very impressed how professional he was and his high level of customer service. Reece then took over as our waiter very polite efficient young man, we were served very quickly and the food was of a high standard, Reece even noticed my Grandaughter had a birthday badge on and gave her a special desert which delighted her. In all the new manager and staff have created an excellent efficient well run establishment, we will be back as it was a good customer experience good old fashioned service much needed now well done.

Excellent trip to Pizza Express. Reece was very good, checking on us regularly and made an effort to talk to our son which a lot of waiters don’t do. Food was excellent as always. We look forward to our next visit!

This place has seriously gone down hill. Waiting still after an hour for pizza, which apparently is their thing! Miss the old Manager, where has he gone? And where is our food??

Food's great as usual in pizza express. This one has a nice space but the service was poor and the atmosphere really strange with loud music not at all in keeping with the setting. Felt like they were blasting Radio 1. Did ask to turn it down, ignored.

I placed the order at 6.20pm, phone the restaurant at 9pm as update said the driver had been there since 7pm, the restaurant told me to open a complaint to get a refund as it was their fault

Had a great experience at pizza express on Wednesday when taking a nursery group to pizza party! Staff were well organised, patient and polite. Tom was amazing with all the children and took the dietary requirements very seriously! The kids had an amazing time making their own pizza

I’m going to start by saying that our waitress was absolutely lovely. The food was great but unfortunately the fact that the restaurant was like a furnace completely ruined our experience. When we asked our waitress we were told that the manager does not let them turn the air-con up, although it didn’t feel like there was any aircon or airflow at all. It wasn’t even a particularly hot day but due to this we won’t come back to this Pizza express. Shame as it’s local and like I said service and food were good. Manager maybe you need to think about your staff and customers a little rather than trying to save money.

Ate there before and the Food is great but it’s impossible to call and make a reservation. You just have to walk in and hope for the best. The previously I called 12 times and never once did they pick up the phone. This time I called again for delivery to make a change to my order and same problem. No one picks up.

It was busy and unbelievably noisy. It's open plan made it far noisier than other branches, which made conversations across a table quite difficult. We had our starter, mains and drink orders messed up, resulting in delays. Considering the server used electronic ordering, mistakes of this magnitude shouldn't have happened. All in all a below par experience.

Driver went to wrong location. Despite calling and me giving him instructions he refused to listen and kept insisting I opened the gate. Food was cold by the time we went out and walked to find him.

I have found that with this Pizza Express the food is always absolutely amazing , and never fails to be good. However when the restaurant is busy , they struggle to keep up to standard. The service is slow, the food usually comes out very late and the wait time to have a table is long. Me and my family came her today and my dad had ordered the carbonara , it came out nice and hot however the quantity was not good enough. My friends were also in here at the same time and they waited at least 20 minutes to be served drinks and their food came out around 15 minutes after ours ( bearing in mind they had been sat down for atleast 20 minutes before us. Other than this , their food is always good but when they are busy , they seem to slack.

The whole experience at Pizza Express Reigate was AMAZING! It was well organized, very clean and the food delicious. Nicky is lovely, super friendly and always made sure we were ok. Mateus, the main guy, also super professional, was doing a brilliant job delegating his team, and kind to us. We felt really welcomed, Def we are coming back.

I can’t really comment on the food. As I have tried twice to order a delivery with Uber Eats at this location and on the two occasions I have tried, the first I had to cancel (after waiting 2 hours), the second time it was automatically cancelled for me! (Again, after waiting two hours). So thanks for that!

Perfect service and we had a lot of fun

Kids supposed to eat free. I had to remind the waitress so that their meals weren't charged for. She was very helpful in sorting out the App, which is rubbish, so that we got a free side dish. It's very noisy since no soft furnishings. The carbonara could have done with more sauce and didn't need to go in the oven - that dried out some of the penne.

If you are looking for a nice pizza in Reigate , this is the place you have to go!!!..absolutely the best pizza in town! We were a big group celebrating a birthday (kids+ adults) and the whole team acomodate us perfectly. Definitely I will come back again.

I'd love to say the food was good, however the food never turned up despite saying it was delivered on the app, and I suspect the driver drove close enough to my house so he was able to confirm it was delivered, when in fact it wasn't.

Went on bank holiday Monday.thank goodness I booked very packed.had to wait for out table to be cleaned but drinks came quickly.bit of a mix up over our order,pizza and starts came out together but food was delicious and the staff where very helpful.

driver stopped outside, took ages to get out of car, went to wrong flat, got back in car then gradually moved up driveway. I went outside to meet driver who handed my food through car window from passenger seat and not from a bag. urgency, potential contamination, temperature and willingness to please me as as customer were not on this driver's priority list.

Over 2hrs for delivery when food came it was cold so had to reheat then pasta tasted weird , never again will I order from here fancied lunch at 1.30 didn’t get 4pm total joke !

If I could give a 0 I would. My fiance and I sat for 30 minutes waiting to have our drink and food order taken after being seated. We weren’t acknowledged by any members of staff despite tables all around us being served. After waiting 30 minutes we walked out, very disappointing considering previous good experiences
