Absolutely amazing experience, went there for my Daughters 50th Birthday

A few weeks back my grandchildren brought me to this restaurant and I must say I was very impressed by the decor and the food however I was fairly confused when a young lady tried to serve me in a pair of slippers and no uniform. I must say I was not impressed with her lack of knowledge of the menu either, but to leave it on a good note the food was splendid.

Service shocking food tasteless no interaction from staff waiting too long for drinks and food never asked if we wanted more drinks no Parmesan offered

The food was excellent and the service friendly and efficient

We waited 10 minutes to be seated at a table and then waited 15 minutes for someone to come to us and then another 20 minutes even though they said they would come in 5 minutes. The Caesar salad consists of cabbage and chicken, that's all, and the tiramisu is very oily and not tasty, and the cocktails are bitter and not tasty. I don't know why they give it more than 1 star, because there is no good service, no good cuisine, no good cocktails. Can you give 0 stars here?

Five of us had a lovely evening at Banstead branch. Service and food were good. Time to pay the bill and 3 of us were told we could not pay with cash. Absolutely disgusted. It’s legal tender. Imagine being told you can’t pay with card there would be uproar. Well Prezzo if you don’t want my cash I’ll go somewhere that does. You’ve lost 5 customers.

If you like waiting an extremely long time for quite average food whilst little to no communication or courtesy from the staff this is the place. The only positive really was the great decor.

Pleasurable meal out at affordable prices

Visited last week for a meal, starters mains and dessert were all good. Staff were attentive and friendly, all round great meal.

Very helpful and approachable staff couldn't do enough for me. The food was delicious as always , and a lovely dessert to top off a wonderful evening .

Came here for a work do. Wow! Wine list was great. Authentic Italian food. We all had the best time. I am still thinking about the burrata salad. Thank you!!

We had an amazing experience celebrating our granddaughter’s 4th birthday, our party of 21 was looked after very well & was made to feel welcome, the service was great & the staff were good fun, thank you for a lovely evening, see you again soon.

Look at the photo and try and guess what I had, could have been a boiled potato, quarter slightly cooked boiled cabbage, the toughest stringest chicken I’ve ever been served with, and a strange almost tasteless sauce, never had a worse meal in my life. Yes! Believe it or not it was that classic Italian dish saltimbocca with just a hint of burnt sage.😭

5 out of 5. Our Waitress Cindy was superb. Real asset to your team. Food was great as always and we will definitely come again.

We came to celebrate our daughter’s 6th birthday. She had a party of 8. Farooq the guy that lead the party was absolutely amazing!!! He kept all the children entertained even the adults. He was very kind, funny and well organised. Thank you Farooq, we will definitely recommend. Visited 30.11.24

Had my sons 7th Birthday party here yesterday with 20 friends. Fantastic from start to finish. Farook and team made it so special, kids had such fun and made delicious pizzas... highly recommend 👌

Big airy restaurant with lovely staff and great food

This is a nicely presented restaurant, food is ok, unfortunately however, the service is terrible .... we waited 10 mins to be seen or even acknowledged at front of house and seated despite a large que forming. After being seated it took ~25 mins to be seen for drinks order etc, (had to ask/beg for service), starter to main 50 mins!! remainder of the evening was a struggle to get any attention, staff simply are not interested ... in fact staff are too busy attending to the take-out (Uber Eats etc.) orders, packing Pizza box's, while in-house customers waited. Honestly PREZZO you have other local completion close-by that offer same food and far BETTER service .... after MANY loyal years of visiting PREZZO, we will now be going there in the future!!

I have had my kids party here at pizza express Banstead. The staff are amazing. The kids and parents had such a good time. The party host farooq is amazing and kept the kids entertained . I would really recommend if you want a relaxing birthday party

One of our go too restaurants in Banstead. We get 25% off with meerkat meals and blue light card. Food is excellent abd so is the service. Stunning decor too!

My chicken caesar salad was superb and the fries are to die for! Great place to go eat if you have missed lunch and you don't want to wait until the evening! Had the Sicilian lemon meringue pie wow! Just great food!

Food was OK. Staff surly not at all friendly. Never asked whether I have any food allergies which I do. When I told a waiter this he shrugged and said that I should have been asked!

Main course disappointment and should have spoken up at the time…Impromptu Sunday date night with wife at Banstead Prezzo - a known quantity having eaten there many times in the past, but not recently. Starters quickly served and as expected. My main classic pepperoni pizza looked ok, but after a few minutes in just hard, bland base and tasteless topping… I’ve had better frozen pizzas from Asda. Where was the fluffy, crispy outer crust, authentic flavoursome pizza oven base and mouth-watering ingredients? I only persevered as I was extra-hungry. Definitely not worth the price. Wife’s Carbonara was over-sticky and bland. Was the end-of-day sitting a factor, or a general drop in standards at play? An underwhelming experience for our hard-earned money.

I arranged for my childs birthday party here and it was great fun. the children had an amazing time and the parents enjoyed themselves too. our host was so attentive and friendly. the experience was 100% and through the experience, it will be something some others are going to consider for their children's party. it is very reasonably priced at £14.95 per child, you get dough balls, good size pizza to make and choose a selection of toppings and ice cream. they cater very well to any dietary requirements and are very attentive to this. we had our own section of the restaurant and was so relaxed, everyone gets involved. my child thoroughly enjoyed themselves and loved every minute of it.

An order of Bottled water turned out to be a 1l bottle for a fiver. Was not mentioned that they dont have smaller bottles. The salmon pasta was just “meh”.. margarita pizza that was ordered turned out to be just tomato sauce with pizza base - have to say this was corrected when raised. Its very disappointing when restaurant experience becomes less than expected especially when all costs are on the rise. The minimum customers expect is value for money.

Hadn't been to one of these for years, I now know I haven't missed anything. Definitely a good branch, with attentive staff, unfortunately food is bland and all our dishes were served luke warm. Wouldn't bother going again.

Went inside and was told to wait while staff chatted.not good! Waited about 10 mins before being seated and then it was just near the entrance and not realy inside main place.staff need to learn how to treat people better

Were invited to our friend's daughter's 6th birthday - a pizza making class! The kids had a wonderful time, it was beautifully hosted from start to finish and of course they loved eating the delicious pizzas afterwards. Totally recommend

We were upstairs, no atmosphere or waitress for much of the time. Very slow to take drink order and 50mins before food order. Drinks were served out of order. Food arrived staggered, one arrived after some had finished. £100 taken off for 7 people but evening ruined.

Had an amazing time at Prezzo, the Salad and the Pizza was great! Definitely worth going again.

A number of us went to Prezzo for a Christmas meal. We noticed that there were very few waiting staff available and had to ask a number of times for the festive menu, tapwater, alcoholic drinks and so on. Each time we came to a new course, we needed to ask again for menus and attention. Three of us chose to have the spaghetti with crab and chilli. Unfortunately, the chilli was so strong that it completely overrode the dish and two of us ate less than half, with the third person eating a little more. We brought this to the manager’s attention, however, nothing alternative was suggested or money knocked off the bill. The tiramisu dessert was very stodgy, claggy, and over-sweet. Again, and highly unusually, a number of us were unable to finish it. All in all this was a really disappointing meal. Paying over £50 service charge for a distinct lack of service was also not ideal.

The worst service I have seen in ages. We chose to have our work Christmas dinner. That was the biggest mistake. It was very cold inside restaurant. Nobody was coming to take our order. We had to chase them up to take our orders. Food was not great. I will never go back there again. It spoiled our evening and caused us stress.

I had the Sea Bass in tomato sauce and aubergines. Just the sort of food I love. Shame they couldn't give me a piece of bread to go with it they could only offer garlic bread. Made the most of the free prosecco. Thanks Prezzo.

We had a lovely birthday celebration last night at Prezzo in Banstead. It was really easy to book a large table (total of 13 people including some wheelchair users) and they have catered to all our needs. The staff were very friendly and helpful, we felt really comfortable and the food and drinks were absolutely delicious! All my residents and staff had an excellent celebration thanks to the amazing team at Prezzo! Thank you for everything and we will definitely return in the near future!

Although I have eaten at Prezzo's a few times before. I am leaving my review for them this time as I was completely let down by the lack of a welcoming service. My husband and I stopped by to see if there was a table free last Friday night. When we entered there was no one at the entrance where the reservations are made. We waited for 5 minutes and could clearly see a waitress with long blonde hair in a ponytail cleaning glasses. She had definitely seen us but continued with her job. We assumed that if this was not her responsibility that someone else would come forwards from within the restaurant which is set back slightly. We continued to wait, we saw a waitress and a lady who I believe is the manageress talking within the restaurant, but they did not glance up and see that we were waiting and now also another lady had come in behind us. I tried to catch the lady with the blonde hair's eye or the waitresses within the restaurant but I could not. Finally the lady with the long blonde hair came out without a smile or greeting. She just looked at me inquisitively. I explained that we'd been waiting for some time trying to catch someone's eye and she did not apologise, which would have just been good manners, I said we were looking for a table for two, she said "Is it a walk in?". I said yes but by this time was really unenthused in staying at the restaurant. In fact my husband and I were so "not in the mood" for our Friday night out at Prezzos that we said thank you very much to the waitress and turned and left. We went to the Woolpack and had a fantastic meal with great atmosphere and service. Prezzos has the potential to be very good. When we have eaten there before the food has been nice and the manageress has been very attentive once we've been seated. Prezzos really need to work on the greeting of their customers and possibly set up some way of them being able to alert the staff to the fact that people are waiting.

Service wasn't good, we arrived 2.30ish there were only two other tables occupied however our order was taken fairly swiftly having eaten our main course the plates were removed but no mention of deserts or drinks, we thought the waiter was coming back with the desert menu. By this time, we were the only people in the restaurant. we eventually caught someone's eye to ask for the desert menu, there was then a mix-up regarding ordering a mini desert and coffee to be told by waiter that's not what the menu says you have to order a desert and a drink separately

Prezzo seems to be off their game lately. Last few visits the food has been underwhelming and very pedestrian. Pizza served cold with aubergines that seemed incorrectly prepared. One was like leather and inedible. They need to get on top of it as kitchen seems to have slipped lately sorry to say. Disappointed.

The service is always too notch. Lovely Dee serves us with the biggest smile and provides good recommendations from the new menu! The children enjoy their food and it’s usually always a good night out! Would recommend.

Service is Ok but the the Place is way to Expensive. The Sauce was Watery & Food was Not Hot. The Place is Always Empty which is not surprising if you Rip People Off!

Walked in on a quiet Tuesday evening, had a booking and yet no-one was taking care of front of house. Waited almost 10 minutes whilst 7 staff members walked past us (some twice) without even an acknowledgement. We should’ve taken this as a hint and gone somewhere else. We only ate there as we had a discount voucher that was close to expiry. The staff were highly uninterested and too busy talking other languages amongst each other. The food was pretty bland and had a very long wait time, for no reason know to us. Had to ask for basic condiments instead of being offered and when trying to get the bill were completely ignored. Can’t complain about a free dinner of course! Had someone been more on top of waiting staff, we would’ve paid for our meal, but we weren’t going to wait all night!!

Busy and noisy when we visited so quite popular. Unfortunately the chicken was dry in the marsala and mushroom dish and the sauce was watery. The strawberry sundae used frozen strawberries so was nothing like the promotional photo. Despite this an enjoyable evening.

Went to a kids birthday party as a guest, it was absolutely brilliant. Farouk was a fantastic host and entertainer. I work with children so I have very high standards for party entertainers! The rest of the staff were also brilliant, the whole event ran flawlessly. So much fun and fantastic food. Great value for money it seems too!

Haven't been for few years but this place has really gone downhill. The place was half empty at 8:00 pm, we ordered drinks which took ages to arrive, in fact our starter arrived before the drinks. Gin and tonic served in an ordinary glass with one small slice of lime, all for over £10.00. The food menu never seems to change much, but the prices do, upwards, making this one of the more expensive local places to eat. I've been many times before and the place seems to have lost its vibe/atmosphere and needs a complete rethink before it ends up on the list of restaurants Prezzo are closing. To top all this off, when paying I'm told the restaurent is cashless and won't accept my cash, there is no mention of this anywhere, nothing when you book online, no mention of this when you enter the restaurant, luckily I was able to use my card but be warned, it you come here with a pocket full of cash, it won't be accepted.

Booked for 30 people - very good at amending reservation adding more people. Great service and food - well executed given the size of our party with half being children. Lovely clean, light venue - plenty of parking nearby. Would recommend! Thank you.

Where do I start? Poor quality food served by disinterested inexperienced staff. One positive. It's consistent. No wonder they're shutting down up and down the country. Really awful food.

Very nice ham, mascapone cheese, & mushroom pizza. It was flavoursome & big. Will be back for more soon .

Really disappointed with both the food and service of Prezzo. The starter was very good however the mains were under average and my friend couldn't even eat half her dish. Our waitress was quite forgetful and we just asked another waitress to get us what we initially ordered for drinks. We won't be going back.

The restaurant was nicely laid out but it was apparent that our table was an addition. The food was nice when it came and was piping hot. We asked if we could order drinks as no one came to the table initially. Waited about 20 mins after ordering for the arrival of the food, which seemed to be a bit long, and there was a back door open as it was draughty and cold. It was not the best of experiences because of the cold weather but the staff were pleasant enough when asked if the air conditioning could also be made warmer. Couldn't understand the air conditioning!

The girls who were hosting were great, helpful and friendly but not sure what’s wrong in the kitchen. Order the crab and lobster ravioli and paid £17.50 for 9 pieces of ravioli. After we mentioned it to the hostess the chef in the kitchen gave me some very dirty looks as I walked past the kitchen to wash my hands.

Such bad service waited so long to have our plates taken away... We wanted dessert but decided to just get the bill as we waited so long had to ask someone to just come and take a payment... We probably could have just walked out as we were just forgotten about Was a shame as the food was good

I bought calzone and was very disappointed with the fillings. It does not taste good and so annoying to see fillings only at the centre of the cakzone 😕, not worth for paying the £16+ cost!
