Good food but was so so late! Luckily it was still warm(ish)

Really nice as always, but I had to reheat because pizza was cold and garlic bread was lukewarm!

Good pizza, they add service charge to every order, atmosphere is lacking, was cold inside so had to wear coats, expensive for what it is.

Great pizza, coffee and service as always. Many vegan and vegetarian options, vegan pizza absolutely delicious. I have been to the pizza project many times across the years and would absolutely recommend them for a lovely lunch or dinner. The coffee is exceptional!!

I just had to eat a COLD pizza which i dont understand bcs it was delivered within 40 min of me ordering. I ate it cos I was ravenous. Good dough though but the rest of the pizza apart from been cold was very plain and just very disappointing. Apart from Delivery you also have to pay for Service charges which considering the experience, it's a bit outrageous.

Stopped by with the family on the way home from the airport for a pizza supper. Our kids were not at their best and the restaurant was incredibly busy but the staff were amazingly friendly and nothing was too much trouble. They went out of their way to make us feel welcome and to accommodate the children. The food was top notch and made from excellent ingredients. Our only regret is that we don’t live closer so can’t visit more often!!

Food arrived an hour late. Ordered at 1930, it came at 21:00. Driver said he had been waiting 45 minutes in the store for our order - every time he asked for an update he was told “just coming”. They were apparently very busy. I ended up calling the store around 20:30 and was told it’s just being cut - it was then sent 20 minutes later. Food was an okay quality, but was quite cold as expected, this place came highly recommended but won’t be ordering again.

Although the pizzas are indeed half decent, the Uber delivery driver stacked the pizzas on their sides, resulting in a crumpled mess of a pizza! So hence 1 star ..

Nice friendly vibe and the pizza was very nice also quite affordable, would go again.

Firmly appears on Tastecard but " not accepting it anymore". We stayed despite this. Tasty pizza but very thin on the topping department, classic salad- small plate of mainly lettuce with a little cucumber and tomato garnish( should be called side salad at best), tiny mayo pot £1.75( free in a bottle in most establishments of this type), 12.5% service added( though would have been removed if asked which I obviously wouldn't- not the waiters' fault any of this). To sum up- OK pizza, small salad, small iced drinks and a bill of £32.23. Absolutely exorbitant. Good luck to anyone paying it. Not me. Not again.

Alan at the Pizza Project was so kind, can-do, accommodating and helpful when asked to cater 27 pizzas for our mini camping festival nearby. Pizzas were great quality, deliciou and arrived hot. Overall a FABULOUS 5⭐️’s well deserved 🙌🏽🍕😀

Food is always fresh and staff - although young, are very nice. Desserts are great too. Suitable for children and all tastes. The manager works very hard and is very polite and personable.

Food was lovely - however ordered for collection and was told it would be another 5 minutes. It ended up being 30 more minutes. I understand that you were busy - but while I was waiting in the store after already leaving and coming back, I was not once spoken to. If someone apologised for the wait then I wouldn’t have minded so much but I was ignored. Once again, food was great - but I think customer service was lacking tonight.

This place is the undisputed champion of Merstham!!! After and exhilarating walk. We stopped off for an early dinner treat. Our lovely waitress Beth, who is a massive asset to the company, served us with a calm, kind and knowledgeable attitude. Given that we had one coffee connoisseur and an Italian 🇮🇹 specialist in tow. My coffee a perfectly blended flat white was delicious and well rounded. The pizza bits were truly tasty, the sharing platter was balanced and flavourful and the salads were light and refreshing. The tiramisu was a little dense and could have done with the usual coffee liqueur, but the lemon cheesecake had depth a nice lemony tang all the way through. I’m not sure all the tips are going to the staff but I’d ask them before paying. All in all and exquisite experience thanks to the knowledge, quality and dedication to serve from brilliant Beth and the pizza chef

For a small and basic restaurant the prices do not make sense. Pizzas were good and the waitress kind. However, we paid more than £ 90.00 for 3 adults and a baby, having pizza and a bit of wine. Wine glasses were small. Service charge was added automatically, when in fact the place looks more like a cafeteria than a proper restaurant.

Such an excellent evening in pizza project with my boyfriend. It was an extremely busy night but our wonderful waitress rhiannon was excellent! Food tasted amazing compliments to the chef, Matt. Thank you rhiannon and Matt for making our evening so wonderful, will be back soon!

New to Merstham & first time at the pizza project went and picked up Takeaway. Staff were super friendly, pizza was ready really quickly and it was absolutely delicious! Atmosphere inside is really nice and I can see in the summer. It’s got nice seating outside and inside we highly recommend.

Harry’s sister and Marry sisters mate did a great job surging us and the pizza was banging

I’m very disappointed in the service I have received this evening. The food turned up stone cold, and I waited a good amount of time for it.

Let's say.. I know a bit about a good pizza , and Pizza Project doesn't disappoint me at all ! It's a gem in Merstham . If you want a proper pizza go there and you'll never be disappointed! 😍 I also love the fact it's a cosy little place and has tables outside which is great in the summer days

Sadly disappointed. Very, very basic pizza. Had to ask for a knife and serviettes. The waitress then brought out 2 side plates that were wet, and to top it all, half way through found a hair. Still paid the full price, but it did bring a downer to a good day out.

the ETA changed and now food has come completely cold. The delivery driver was nice and polite!!

Pizzas are wonderful. We like Calabrese and Chorizo. Flavourful and the pizza dough is just perfect. Also the homemade tiramisu is a delightful addition to the meal. We have the gelato too. The environment is chill and friendly. Love the staff here! Will visit again.

Lovely little pizzeria in the heart of Merstham.

Great pizza. Beautiful crispy chewy base. Great assortment of toppings. Sometimes tippings could be more generous but I guess they're keeping it authentic.

Everything great except I didn’t get my garlic dips! Would have been nice if they had sent me them down considering they not far away from my address!

The service is absolutely horrendous. Im genuinely in shock at how completely rude the staff were. My friends and I ordered the aubergine pizza but asked for it to be vegan as it clearly states on the menu that they can make that pizza vegan. A female on the phone clearly misunderstood this as when my friends and I got back from picking the pizza up, after taking a big bite I realised it had ricotta all over the pizza. I am intolerant to dairy so was instantly panicked and upset about this. When we called back up, we expected to get an instant apology over the mistake but instead we were met with an immature young female who believed it was our mistake and not hers and just wanted to argue with us saying things like ‘well I’m not the chef?’ Her attitude on the phone was honestly one of the worst customer experiences I have had, I’m genuinely shocked over it. After numerous requests to speak to her manager she finally handed the phone to her ‘supervisor’ who was instantly apologetic and handled the complaint the way it should have been handled in the first place. She told us they would make a vegan aubergine pizza right away, which was ironic as the first female told us they had run out of aubergine .. All in all, this was meant to be a nice birthday celebration evening, which was completely ruined and even when we had to get back in the car and drive once again to pick up the new pizza, the atmosphere was so cold when we walked in and no one was polite enough to apologise for what had happened apart from one girl who muttered it under her breath as we were walking out. I will never be ordering from here again, I just hope someone takes the feedback seriously.

Really dissatisfied and disappointed been coming here for years but unfortunately had an awful experience when collecting some pizza with friends. Was given a non vegan pizza for my vegan friend and then meet with an extremely bad attitude when calling to tell them about the mistake. Was given a fresh pizza however even when I went to collect it after the original mistake I was given a half hearted apology and no accountability for the mistake. My friend is lactose intolerance and the staff didn’t seem to understand the serous implications of her been given a pizza with dairy. Extremely shocking service today and such a shame as I’ve previously had a positive experience.

Went here recently for a evening meal. Plenty of staff, and hardly any customers, yet we were left unattended for a while. Service didn’t feel friendly. Pizzas were decent, but nothing special. Garlic bread was very undercooked. Brownie was stale and bang average. Much better local options available

I ordered at 730 got the delivery at 1020 missing one pizza.

Great Pizza's. Order has been delivered on time. The only negative point is that the Pizza's were transported vertically which means the Pizza's turned into Calzone's.

The staff have changed but the food has not. Good wholesome, flavoursome pizza served fresh from the oven, and chased down with a locally brewed beer. What's not to like? Sadly, not five stars as the menu doesn't really change.

Pizza insanely good as always. Ordered the house garlic mayo which at £1.70 was absurdly Expensive! Up the potion or drop the price guys. Crazy portion for £1.70. Pizza still deserves 5 stars 😜

Great pizza! Excellent menu choice for pizzas Nice to have salad options, except we ordered the classic salad which is advertised as cos lettuce but was a mixed bag of rocket salad and not that nice. Prob wouldn’t have ordered it if I’d known that. Good wine, good friendly service. Will def come back.

Ordered 4 dips and only got one delivered, the pizzas were a mess and we were told by the delivery driver that that was normal because they were stored in a vertical backpack.

Pizza's were very good, authentic Italian. Only gripe is with regards the quantity of the toppings provided which were a little sparse.

The Napoli Pizza is my personal favourite. This place is a hidden gem.

Great staff, food is delicious and reasonably priced. My partner loved the latte he had and has been back for coffees since! We also occasionally order for delivery and the food is always delicious.

Nice restaurant...good services...normal prices not expensive not cheap...(ham and mushroom piza 11.90£).... would recommend it

I normally enjoy their pizzas but I ordered a margerita with chilli and garlic. There was no garlic which I paid 1.75 for. I'm sorry but if I closed my eyes I would not have a clue what I was eating it was so bland and tasteless !!!

This is a second time we order from pizza project! Genuinely delicious, the dough bread so thin and quality of vegetables and cheese is really good! Pizza gone within minutes! A must try and definitely our Friday night delivery from there.

This was our second time there and we're a bit disappointed because the quality of the pizza ingredients and wine were very poor, no much flavour compare the first time, and the price are the same.

Excellent pizza & would recommend this to anyone. Staff are also super friendly. So all round perfect.

Given only tongs to pick up sugar cubes for tea, had to ask for spoon. Milk served in a glass bottle, so spilled everywhere as had no pouring spout. Not given any serviettes and milk was not cleaned up. Although pizza is traditional Italian thin crispy and eaten with hands, it's hot when first comes out and was not offered any cutlery. Glasses for tap water too small, not much bigger than a shot glass. When paying at the till, ended up paying for more than what we had worked out for our food, wasn't told why and when guessed if it was service charge was only then told yes. If a service charge is compulsory, the restaurant must make this clear before you eat. For example, by stating this on menus it has in the windows or by telling you verbally.

Dried up cold pizza… an hour from order to delivery and how it took the driver nearly 25 minutes from Merstham to Redhill I don’t know. Go somewhere else for a better pizza/service.

This is a unique little place. Having just eaten I couldn't indulge in a Pizza but those coming out looked 👌. I stopped for a coffee which was great. Service was excellent.

The driver couldn’t find our house but didn’t phone to find out where it was! My husband had to go out into the street to find them. So the pizza was cold. Once warmed up in the oven, it was delicious. Very generously topped and a great chewy base.

Good food but there are better options available locally in my opinion.
