Brilliant park well worth a visit

2 small slices of bacon in a sandwich, for £7, what a rip-off!!!!!

Went here for the first time today with my dog. The price was very good for the quality. I ordered at the front and food was brought to my table. My dog had the doggy ice cream which he enjoyed. Will be going back there again!

Dog friendly- they even sell dog treats so the dogs don't feel left out while you're eating. Prices somewhere middling

Always good food, prompt service, clean toilets and friendly staff

Great breakfast, particularly nice sausage and hash browns. Really friendly staff and a lovely setting. The food was delivered quickly and was all hot and fresh. Great eggs too.

Great cafe can get busy, dog and kid friendly

Great breakfast with proper bacon, eggs and beans. The coffee is mild and hot. Fill yourself up on a huge breakfast plate.

The good bit first, nice food, good staff BUT, not very hygienic, dogs sitting on someone's lap and one on a chair, one woman actually sitting her dog on her lap and letting it eat from the table, yck. Staff just ignore it! What is the owner and the local council doing about it

Very slow service and staff attitude was poor when we visited. Some of the food coming out of the kitchen looked ok, but our cakes very very average. As it's such a large park and this is a fairly small cafe it was packed and couldn't handle the volume of customers. Wouldn't go back. What a shame for such a nice park

Had a amazing hot chocolate with everything marshmallows, cream and a flake.

First time visiting here. Staff very friendly and helpful. I had a brownie and was super dry, sadly. I expected it to be more moist. Luckily I had a drink too. Which made it it easier to eat. The place is dog friendly and child friendly.

Had a lovely latte and great Cornish pastie. Staff polite and had table service. Would recommend

Nice little place I usually use for just drinks & snacks but had a small breakfast with family and wasn't really impressed the beans & toast were stone cold with a thick layer of unmelting butter on the toast the rest of the food was at perfect eating temperature (says something when the egg is hotter then beans) coffee was nice as usual family enjoyed teas customised plates were honoured much appreciated the service was great prices ok was just the temperature of the food that let it down that and with windows and doors open the cafe was chilly we couldn't take our jackets off as it was too cold to even with hot drinks Think I'll stick with using for just drinks and snacks on playday visits

Pretty little place, food is really nice but a bit expensive. Absolutely recommend the vegan milkshakes

Lovely vegan breakfast and had a nice vegan brownie too The lattes and tea are good here and there’s a lovely outdoor seating area with views of the park

Nice place just over priced £5 for chips nearly £9 for 2 toast bacon and 2 eggs, you can buy 32 bacon 24 eggs and bread in morrison for that, thats hastings council for you i surpose wont be long b4 the park looks like the town centre empty buildings

Nice location in the park with outside seating too, great for coffee in the sun. Full English breakfast was acceptable, (nice to see somewhere using a good quality sausage) but this is one of those places where the food is just piled high on a small plate, to make it look more and padded out with lots of baked beans. Smallest flat white coffee I've ever had. What really lets this place down are the miserable looking, unsmiling staff.... Good customer service, is service with a smile.

Ice cream is expensive at £3.50 a scoop. It did taste good but a lot more than other places generally area. I looked at other prices of items whilst I was in there and prices were expensive. The service wasn't anything special. Two women's serving. Both didn't seem very happy, they weren't rude but they weren't friendly. There is a toilet inside that you can use. Seating area inside and outside.

Only had toast and a coffee so felt wrong giving it a 5 star on food as I didn't indulge in what looks a very promising menu. Service was good I was treated with a smiling and polite server. Coffee and food was delivered to the table without much delay at all and was both hot and tasty. Not often I am in the area but next time I am I do intend to return.

What a lovely little park! Is brilliant for little ones. I was served by a gorgeous young lady named poppy . Such a welcoming person and helped me pick just what I wanted!!! Such good staff she is a keeper.

Nice little cafe, serving breakfast and lunch with raised area overlooking the park. It's not fancy, but has a reasonable offer from £5 upwards..

Just the most lovely place to sit and enjoy a good book whilst watching the park life pass by. The coffee is quality, the smoothies delicious, and the food is yum. Consistently. Most of all, the staff are lovely kind people and nothing is ever too much trouble. Really cannot reccommend highly enough. Simply our favourite place to be in Hastings. Thanks, Mike

Lovely cafe in the middle of Alexander Park, Hastings. Food and drinks available and cafe is dog friendly inside and out. Plenty of seating outside. Had breakfast here and it was quite palatable and a bonus being able to take the dog. The only difficulty is with so many dogs it can become chaotic, with some selfish owners simply not caring about others nearby or the carnage that their beloved pets are causing.

Great place to chill and relax with an ice cream and a coffee

Only go here for takeaway coffee .very over priced .Always packed with customers. Dogs allowed inside which is disgusting from a health point of view. Coffee ☕ is average.

Fabulous cafe. Friendly helpful staff, very dog friendly both on the decked terrace and inside, family friendly and serve a wonderful bacon sandwich! Coffees pretty good too!

Always have a lovely lunch whenever we come, slightly expensive but to be expected, we can sit outside with our dog and look at the lovely views. Staff are always welcome and friendly too.

All year round I have fun here with my grandchildren.

We stopped off for a light lunch whilst on a doggie walk. The bacon roll was delicious as were the chips, hot chocolate also good. Friendly staff!

Shocking service at eat@the park cafe Hastings. Went in at 16:15 on Sunday 20/8/2023. Completely ignored when standing to wait for service; no greeting when staff member arrived; unhelpful service; chatting among themselves even with a queue of customers; no one seemed to be supervising. Got the impression the staff wished we would all just go away. Well maybe they will get their wish!

The best place ever!! I get my latte nearly every day when im walking my dog, the girls now know of by heart what my order is, I also sit down for sarnies, muffins and cooked breakfast when with hubby or my mum, every member of staff are cheerful,polite and nothing too much trouble!! Especially today when a ganic of a seagull came roaring down and snatched my panini straight off my plate when my mum and I were moving tables to shelter from the rain and the lovely girls brought me out a fresh one so kind didn't expect them too.

Good, family and pet friendly cafe in the park. Not cheap but not over-priced either. The staff are efficient and friendly and there's a good selection of food to chose from from toasted tea cake to burgers, sarnies and fab salads. Nice big cups of tea too. A great place to stop for refreshments in this gorgeous park.

I just had one of the nicest things I've ever eaten: goat's cheese with marinated peppers, malted bread 'hot sandwich'. 10/10. Absolutely delicious

Nine of us all ordered breakfast 16.04.23. The food all arrived at the same time, piping hot and delicious.

The prices of this place is ridiculous! The portions are tiny don't do table service anymore but 1 breakfast a portion on mucky chips served in a cearel sized bowl and 2 coffees nearly £30 ! Cant wait for the new cafe to open see what prices they are ?

Great place to go for lunch or just a coffee and cake. Remember to pick a table before ordering. Can get very busy on weekends

Great value for money and lovely big portions. Friendly atmosphere for all and you can bring dogs in. We did find it a bit chilly as the door was constantly opening and closing.

Nice spot on a hot day to seat on the decking outside or inside, I enjoy the food here, have had the breakfast and waffles many times, only thing which let's it down is the price, slightly to high in my opinion, supposed to be a family cafe, suggest making prices damily friendly. They have water for dogs outside. Friendly staff.

Lovely park enhanced by this great cafe with traditional food & breakfast. Large with plenty of seating inside & a large deck outside. Have only ever had a takeout coffee & snacks but all the staff seem cheerful & helpful.

Met a friend for a coffee and thought I’d have a bacon sandwich, was very tasty and hot. We did want another drink later on but the queue was out the door so Didn’t bother, not sure if another system would work to avoid long queues as they bring everything out anyway.

Lovely setting for a cafe. The selection of food and drink is mostly premium brands, but it is good food.

staff are great, been here a few times. never had an issue with the food or service. and the relaxed, casual feel is great, like any place in can get busy. just be patient with the staff, it's not within their control and no-one is in the business in turning away customers because it's busy. disabled access is no problem.

Something for everyone.... breakfast and lunch are tasty and good quality.

Lovely setting in the fab Alexandra Park. Nearby stream and bandstand. And green space. Interior and decking tables available. Relaxed but efficient service...order and prepay at the counter after bagging a table. Diverse age-wise at least. Popular with all age groups. I had a toasted cheese and tuna sandwich which did the job nicely. Lovely Latte coffee. A range of pastries and cakes and so forth. A nice little stop off. And a return visit, which tells a story?

Always fresh and delicious food. Quick service and polite staff- what else do you need for a quick lunch or breakfast?

Didn't have high expectations for a cafe that has no competition around, but it was really good. Food was tasty, hot and served with a smile. My only gripe is having to queue and pay first. Difficult with a family group and a 2 year old.

Very good food and service, staff are unfailingly pleasant and helpful. The breakfasts in particular are really excellent. You can eat in or takeaway.
