Had a amazing hot chocolate with everything marshmallows, cream and a flake.

Fabulous cafe. Friendly helpful staff, very dog friendly both on the decked terrace and inside, family friendly and serve a wonderful bacon sandwich! Coffees pretty good too!

Always have a lovely lunch whenever we come, slightly expensive but to be expected, we can sit outside with our dog and look at the lovely views. Staff are always welcome and friendly too.

All year round I have fun here with my grandchildren.

Excellent coffee at a fairly reasonable price. Good knock.

Good as usual, helpful staff, heating up the grate grandchildren food,and the food we had was delicious, ideal for a snack when walking around the park

Shocking service at eat@the park cafe Hastings. Went in at 16:15 on Sunday 20/8/2023. Completely ignored when standing to wait for service; no greeting when staff member arrived; unhelpful service; chatting among themselves even with a queue of customers; no one seemed to be supervising. Got the impression the staff wished we would all just go away. Well maybe they will get their wish!

A lovely lunch in a lovely park. Also great for kids as there's a playground nearby.

The best place ever!! I get my latte nearly every day when im walking my dog, the girls now know of by heart what my order is, I also sit down for sarnies, muffins and cooked breakfast when with hubby or my mum, every member of staff are cheerful,polite and nothing too much trouble!! Especially today when a ganic of a seagull came roaring down and snatched my panini straight off my plate when my mum and I were moving tables to shelter from the rain and the lovely girls brought me out a fresh one so kind didn't expect them too.

Good, family and pet friendly cafe in the park. Not cheap but not over-priced either. The staff are efficient and friendly and there's a good selection of food to chose from from toasted tea cake to burgers, sarnies and fab salads. Nice big cups of tea too. A great place to stop for refreshments in this gorgeous park.

I just had one of the nicest things I've ever eaten: goat's cheese with marinated peppers, malted bread 'hot sandwich'. 10/10. Absolutely delicious

Nine of us all ordered breakfast 16.04.23. The food all arrived at the same time, piping hot and delicious.

Toilets disgusting,floor and tables dirty, will not stop here again

The prices of this place is ridiculous! The portions are tiny don't do table service anymore but 1 breakfast a portion on mucky chips served in a cearel sized bowl and 2 coffees nearly £30 ! Cant wait for the new cafe to open see what prices they are ?

Great place to go for lunch or just a coffee and cake. Remember to pick a table before ordering. Can get very busy on weekends

Great value for money and lovely big portions. Friendly atmosphere for all and you can bring dogs in. We did find it a bit chilly as the door was constantly opening and closing.

Lovely park enhanced by this great cafe with traditional food & breakfast. Large with plenty of seating inside & a large deck outside. Have only ever had a takeout coffee & snacks but all the staff seem cheerful & helpful.

Nice spot on a hot day to seat on the decking outside or inside, I enjoy the food here, have had the breakfast and waffles many times, only thing which let's it down is the price, slightly to high in my opinion, supposed to be a family cafe, suggest making prices damily friendly. They have water for dogs outside. Friendly staff.

Met a friend for a coffee and thought I’d have a bacon sandwich, was very tasty and hot. We did want another drink later on but the queue was out the door so Didn’t bother, not sure if another system would work to avoid long queues as they bring everything out anyway.

Lovely setting for a cafe. The selection of food and drink is mostly premium brands, but it is good food.

staff are great, been here a few times. never had an issue with the food or service. and the relaxed, casual feel is great, like any place in can get busy. just be patient with the staff, it's not within their control and no-one is in the business in turning away customers because it's busy. disabled access is no problem.

Something for everyone.... breakfast and lunch are tasty and good quality.

Lovely setting in the fab Alexandra Park. Nearby stream and bandstand. And green space. Interior and decking tables available. Relaxed but efficient service...order and prepay at the counter after bagging a table. Diverse age-wise at least. Popular with all age groups. I had a toasted cheese and tuna sandwich which did the job nicely. Lovely Latte coffee. A range of pastries and cakes and so forth. A nice little stop off. And a return visit, which tells a story?

Always fresh and delicious food. Quick service and polite staff- what else do you need for a quick lunch or breakfast?

Didn't have high expectations for a cafe that has no competition around, but it was really good. Food was tasty, hot and served with a smile. My only gripe is having to queue and pay first. Difficult with a family group and a 2 year old.

Very good food and service, staff are unfailingly pleasant and helpful. The breakfasts in particular are really excellent. You can eat in or takeaway.

A lovely classic Victorian park pavilion cafe

I would like to say a massive thank you to the staff that were working this morning, my 2 children unfortunately fell off their scooters 1 of which hurt himself quite badly but the staff were amazing, supplied me with ice water tissues disinfectant wipes plasters and let us sit in there until we were all sorted. Thank you all so much !!

I thought the full breakfast looked about small when it was brought to the table But I gotta say it tasted flipping lovely.and ended up being enough for me . Good quality grub 👍🏻

Expensive, slow and busy. No rules regarding covid. Atleast the cafe is kept clean. Only ordered drinks and the cappuccino was more of a latte. Wouldn't recommend.

The breakfast here used to be a go to, but sadly no more. The portions have shrunk and attention to menu wording needs adjusting. Chunky toast was just a slice of sliced bread. It used to be chunky...no more. The veggie sausage was an average packet one where I feel it should be alot more unique or homemade. For £8.25 disappointing. A huge shame as they are in a perfect setting and have been better

Good selection of food & drinks at sensible prices in a great location.

Coffee is decent quality but the price of the food is ridiculous we had some of there pasties at 3.50 or so each and found over half the filling being potato instead of chicken and leek like advertised and a bacon sandwich was £6ish which is twice the price id expect to pay for a few bits of bacon lettice and few slices of tomato, won't bother getting food again unfortunately the quality doesn't warrant the price

Really terrible service ,ordered 2 drinks waited 20 mins for takeaway and had to ask and they hadnt even started making them and it was not busy,plus no apologies, a great spot for a business but no customer empathy....shocking!!

Alexandra park cafe is quite nice n big inside. We really enjoyed it ☺️ we just had tea. Got lots of drinks n foods choice 🤣. Lovely place for kids 😜 too. Lovely n friendly staffs 😁. Fast service n very clean 😃

Pasty and milkshakes lovely but over-priced. Friendly staff. No where to sit so used take away service.

The icecream is amazing. Very long time wait ! Could do with more experienced staff & one more. One to take the order & one to deliver. Wait time was over 20minutes with only two infront.

I stopped here on a hot day with my wife. Staff were very friendly and helpful. We tried the milkshakes which were a good size, lovely and cool, and very refreshing.

So covid careful, even not allowing my friend to sign in with me as she lived somewhere else....table cleaned before we sat down...one way in, one out. Menue very good for vegans, prices reasonable, coffee good. I had the all day vegan breakfast...choice of white or granary bread, choice of sauces. A favorite venue

Waited for half an hour but no one took out order so we left. Very disappointed 😟
