Crab sandwiches on the beach….loved it. Cash only…….unbelievable how many people clearly dont have enough change for a pot of tea in their pockets these days. Lovely location, everything done properly. Don’t hesitate to walk down. PS Look after his £50 note 🤣

Great place on the shingle beach for food, big chunky Sarnies and a big cream tea, all served in vintage tea cups. Note payment is cash only, a few people were put out by that, but no issue for us. The service is fairly quick with friendly staff and what a location.

Cream tea with the family, late afternoon and was exactly what we needed. 2 scones, plenty of jam and cream with a big pot of tea. None of us left a crumb 😋.

Popped into this cute little cafè for breakfast with my partner and was seriously blown away by how friendly the staff are and how lovely the food was. Eggs Benny was cooked to perfection and the coffees we had were phenomenal. My boyfriend also said the full breakfast was amazing. The staff are an absolute credit to this cafe from the waitress to the cooks. Highly highly recommend.

I have been coming to Ducky’s for years. We are a family of 4 and had the all day breakfast. So delicious! Service was excellent, staff are so warm and friendly! Food was hot and well priced. I cannot fault Ducky’s! We will continue to return time and time again.

Just the spot on a lovely September day for an Al fresco lunch on the beach. Having been earlier for a drink, we spotted their crab sandwiches on the menu, returned for lunch and enjoyed these incredible crab sandwiches, served with a salad garnish and a filling so thick that it was difficult to finish - the service was excellent and all staff exceedingly friendly. Would go again if we return to Beer for another visit - beautiful village and quite unspoilt. Finally great value.

My husband and myself, visited Ducky’s twice this holiday, we have been previously. Lovely setting, very clean, very friendly family. Cream tea was delicious, one is enough for two, good price at £8.00 . Crab sandwich was good, but bit overpriced! Hopefully be back next year

Been many times over a great many years each time we visit Beer. Couldn't believe it this time, even the lady serving actually apologised for the price charged. £32.+ for two crab sandwiches, a single helpjng of chips, and one small bottle of fizzy water. They only take cash, no cards. This is a beech cafe so sitting on an outside table on the beach, lovely as the setting is, and no complaints about the food, very nice, but we felt well and truly ripped off, not value for money. We used to look forward to going. Pity!

We were visiting Beer with friends and they highly recommended Ducky's for teh crab. So we grabbed a table, enjoying teh lovely setting, teh weather on the whole behaving itself We ordered crab sandwiches with chips and an egg and chips The crab filling was very generous and tasty, very fresh, the chips great. The eggs really tasted good. We had coffees and tea to go with the food The crab sandwiches are really worth visiting the place for Service is very friendly

Second visit here as the first was just so welcoming. Fab hosts who recognised us straight away! Nothing was too much trouble for them and we’ll definitely be back for a third visit. Well worth a visit for tea, food, ice cream or all three!

Oh wow! What a brilliant find! Just sitting in the café right now, overlooking Beer beach whilst finishing off some delicious food. 11 of us (6 adults and 5 kids of varying ages) we were welcomed with open arms by the gent and lady working. The food was AMAZING and delivered very timely. Can't recommend the cafe highly enough, definitely worth a stop when in Beer or even if you need somewhere nearby for food. Thank you so much!

On the sea front had a little light rain not enough parasols seemed to be 4 for about 15 tables had a sausage sandwich wife had the fish finger sandwich although it was a sandwich it cost as much combined as a meal in a pub inland .

Breakfast ordered; all day breakfast and bacon and egg sandwich. Also had a lovely pot of tea and China cups. Setting was great. We’d hardly sat down and poured tea when breakfast arrived. This made us feel it wasn’t freshly cooked. Eggs were hard for both breakfasts. Sausage was just basic catering standard and bacon was waver thin and not much taste. The bread seemed like supermarket basic standard. Was below par in comparison to Chapple’s the day before, which was a little cheaper and much better quality. Disappointed by Ducky’s

We stopped here for a cheeky ice cream. And we're not disappointed with the flavour selection or quality....Farmer Tom's dairy ice cream. We sat at one of the tables to enjoy our treat and watch the world go by!

Pretty good food for an outdoor cafe on the beach. Moderate prices, certainly not cheap. Only real gripe is that they will only accept cash for payment.

Duckys , family owned run Buisness . They really are lovely , friendly and the food and coffee was fabulous . Their log cabin is a joy , beautiful crockery so clean and well presented . They really take pride in their little premises a real pleasure to look at whilst being served 5 stars from me and my family , A real gem 💎 we will be back 🙌❤️

My wife and I have used Ducky’s for a few years now but haven’t visited for a while. We always order a crab and a prawn sandwich as they are always very good. On this occasion there were three of us for lunch so we had two crab sandwiches and one prawn, along with just two cans of coke to share. Much to my surprise we were charged £45:00!! This is not a high end restaurant but just a small takeaway shack on the beach. I realise that the world has changed and all prices have increased, however how could anyone justify £45:00 for three sandwiches! Yes I should have checked the prices before ordering or cancelled the order, however we promised the third member of the group a crab sandwich so we just had to reluctantly carry on. The sandwiches were ok, but not as good as before, less filling than previous and bread a little dry. You also have to bear in mind that they only accept cash! If places similar to this one continue to raise prices then families will revert back to bringing their own food to the beach, at a fraction of the cost! This has probably been the worst value for money experience in a very long time, so disappointed and will not return for what was a favourite place for a crab sandwich!

Visited here with family hoping for a delicious crab salad. However, for the price, one got very little crab and the salad was limp lettuce, with a couple of slices of tomato and cucumber and about half a red onion. With seafood on your doorstep, it would not be too difficult to put a bit more effort in and produce a really delicious plate of food.Staff pleasant. We are thrilled to be able to visit this charming beach cafe restaurant again. The only problem we have is we have been spoilt by the views, the lovely service, the warmth of welcome we always receive from the owner and his wife and the team.The menu has something for everyone and dogs are made to feel equally welcome. The owner made my elderly mum feel so welcome this week remembering her preferences from last year, she so enjoys the traditional china that is used here for tea.The presentation of everything served here is great and represents such good value.
