Duck And Dim Sum in Windsor and Maidenhead

I ordered a meal for 10 as a takeaway and although it was a little late it was well worth waiting for. Food was delicious and generous portions. Everyone was very happy and we will definitely go back to the Restaurant. Thank you, Maria

the customer service of this restaurant was horrible, and quite frankly atrocious, with their own system of delivery, this restaurant brought in a driver that did not heed to instructions clearly placed to make a timely order , who lied about what I had asked and lied about security in my reception stating they were not allowed to bring the order in my building, I have this verified to be a lie by security themselves, the restaurant not only was unhelpful, but lacked a manager to resolve this, the staff were rude and when asked the name of the driver they made up an obvious made up name of the driver to further insult me before hanging up abruptly, the driver of this restaurant also decided without informing to take my order away thus leaving without my order while on the Deliveroo system it still appeared as if my order had been attempted and delivered, making the refund process almost impossible to achieve, when contacting the restaurant again they were extremely unhelpful and willfully ignored to arrive at a solution and have this amended. While I did not try the food, I had ordered as it appeared the reviews were good, but even then if the food is supposedly good, I will never recommend this place to anyone due to the horrifying customer experience, I have already made sure everyone in my premises to not order from this place who were all horrified to hear about this, so I will expect for them to not hold future customers and have lost these due to this experience , while I am in full right of an apology, I am sure the restaurant will never issue it , but I will make sure future customers will be aware of the risk of suffering this treatment from the restaurant staff and the drivers they employ. I will be making this aware in every platform available of this restaurant .

Food bland and tasteless. We ordered 8 different dishes with rice and chips. Every dish came in the same beige coloured water and so tasted exactly the same and we couldn’t make out the chicken satay from the oyster sauce and the chicken curry didn’t have any sauce in it at all instead It looked like it had just been smeared with curry coloured something or other. The beef in green peppers, and black bean sauce came without green peppers and again was tasteless. The chips were thin and dried up with hard, difficult to chew ends. We spent a lot of money and didn’t even get free prawn crackers which is usually normal in most Chinese take outs. Really disappointed and left dissatisfied. We left half the food in the cartons including beef, king prawns and chicken as it was so unpleasant and therefore difficult to eat. It was thrown in the bin the next morning . Avoid this place it’s absolutely terrible and a complete waste of money.

Food absolutely amazing! , staff amazing and so welcoming, lovely cosy little place, if in area well worth a visit and multi storey car park is a 30 second minute walk. 8 minute drive from legoland

Awful--Beware of reviews--this must be friends and family reviews it is by far the worst quality of food---nothing is fresh/defrosted, and the chicken curry had not taste to it--meat seemed to be processed

I have just ordered a take a way. The delivery was on time, it was hot and really good quality. I will be ordering my take a way food from here in the future and hopfully visiting soon

To celebrate the enter the Year of the Wood Dragon, we drop in for an evening meal. The set menu we have was as good as the hand-pick selected dishes we had at our previous visit. Quality food, staff service very efficient.

We went to this restaurant for my Grandads 70th birthday! However, we left extremely disappointed with the food and the service. Firstly, they did not have the majority of the wine that was on the menu, they served warm Prosecco, they did not have prawn crackers. The chicken starter was very overcooked. They also have poor accessibility to the toilet, which we know is not an individual problem, but maybe this could be advertised on the website prior like most restaurants.

The wait was too long the dinner came before the soup (starter) bet you can’t believe that and it’s too dam bright with a whole load of floresent lights The soup was tasteless only for the soya sauce I poured in the curry was watery and not the best I tasted. A very honest 1/10.

Great Chinese Everything was good the fried rice was light not oily really good. Big menu selection been here twice now service is great .

We ate in but food fantastic either way I am sure. Listened to Mendelssohn. Great friendly service . Second visit here ( last in July 2023 ) we live in Wales . It didn’t disappoint . Thank you

Surprisingly elegant place which of offer high quality Cantonese Dim Sum dishes. The is complimented by exquisitely seasoned fish dishes and other stir-fried rice noodles dishes. The service is prompt and attentive. ……as for the taste, it reminded me of a place called ‘Fragrant Harbour’, my birthplace. Much return to try their duck dishes

Wonderful, delicious and very plentiful as always. Gorgeous prawn dumplings, ribs, Pak choi, Chinese aubergine, duck, noodles, rice and soup.

Excellent find whilst staying in Windsor. The staff are so lovely and accommodating. The food was cooked fresh and absolutely delicious! 10/10. We will definitely be back when we are next in Windsor.

Found Duck & Dim Sum restaurant while staying at Lego land with my family. The owner was very nice and accomodating. The food came out hot, fresh and tasty. We had the duck, curry chicken, wonton soup, sweet corn soup, steamed dumplings, calamari, pork fried rice and oolong tea. There aren’t many tables so I would recommend making a booking. We would definitely recommend this place and would eat here again.

Honestly this is the most delicious Chinese food I have ever had in the uk. I have been living in London for more than 10 years, tried a lot of Chinese restaurants, but this one is way better than them, especially the fried udon which I love so much, is just the typical Chinese style. And the fried shrimp, the crab etc. everything is just cooked so right, so impressive. I’m happy to spend most of my dinner time in this lovely restaurant and I will definitely highly recommend all of my friends to have a try when they travel to Windsor.

As a lover of chinese food I cannot recommend Duck and Dim Sum in Windsor highly enough. What a lovely man and a superb chef Daniel is and Dylan the waiter so so friendly. I have been in Windsor for 3 nights, have been to Duck and Dim Sum every night and must have tried around 8/9 different dishes, all as superb as each other. Don´t miss this place if you want seriosuly good chinese food!

The restaurant ambiance was nice, clean. Waiter Dillon was very friendly and attentive . Chevy was great. He came out to ask if the food was ok. Food was fresh, served as the chef made it, just right seasoning. Good value.

Quality fresh food and great dine in experience. Nice when the chef comes to your table and chats about the food. Will make it a regular dine in experience when the kids are back from university. Relaxed place to eat.

Had take-away. Really healthy and delicious food, with items on the menu that you can't commonly find in other Chinese restaurants in this area. Portions are generous and were still warm by the time we came home 20 minutes later. We will be back and...

Wonderful family run business in Windsor. Believe this restaurant is new - located in the centre of town/short walk. The hospitality was very pleasant and welcoming, food was delicious and fresh too. Would definitely visit again.
