My first time at the Draymans yesterday - went along to support the charity event being hosted by the landlord and landlady. Had a great time with a couple of the local Batemans beers, and a very tasty burger from the bbq outside. The food menu looked very inviting as well - will be investigating that further at a later date. Very friendly service at the bar and a great atmosphere with the locals - exactly the shirt of pub that needs to be supported and preserved!!!

Been here a few times for a family Sunday lunch. Food is traditional and home-cooked using fresh ingredients. Food is served in the pub, with no separate restaurant, but have always found a suitable table. No frills, but generous portions, well cooked, delicious and a choice of meats and great selection of traditional desserts. The price reflects this simplicity, which is also a bonus! If you want a local pub with locals drinking good beer, watching football (not too loud), with a dart board and a pool table, look no further. Outside seating available in the summer. Ideally, phone beforehand to check that food is being served.

Wonderful coffee shop and restaurant. It is always clean and friendly atmosphere, with lovely coffee and tea. The cakes are yummy and soft - everyone should try the carrot cake (gluten free too!) The coffee is strong but smooth but you can ask for it weaker if you like. Not at all like a ‘charity’ shop of coffee shop - somewhere nice to visit

I was introduced to Pacey's when I moved here by a friend who's a Spalding native. Since then, it's become a regular meeting place for us and we always look forward to the announcement of each week's cheesecake flavour! Can't speak highly enough of the quality of the baking and friendliness of the staff - you really get the sense here that it's not just a café, but a real cornerstone of the community.
