The phone order was very easy and they called it back so no mistake. The food was delicious as normal, good value & the delivery was bang on time, I tipped the driver as is appropriate. Love the Dragon Express.

Pork fried rice- pretty much no port at all. Ridiculous. Plastic containers! I would never buy again!

Ordered and collected personally from this takeaway the food was of a good standard nice and hot still when eating. Very pleasant.

Order food to be delivered. Food came prompt and hot. Chicken curry was bland and full of raw onions&water chestnuts also only 4 pieces of chicken. Chips were soggy. Spring rolls flavourless. Egg friends rice and dumpling were okay. Good for the price.

This is my local Chinese takeaway and it's hands down the best around. Every dish that I've had is delicious and not oily like so many other takeaways. The portions are huge, so much so that we can never eat it all in one go, so it serves us for lunch the following day! The menu is extensive and I highly recommend it!

Not sure where the bad reviews come from as this place is top notch. I’ve tried all the local Chinese and Dragon Express beats the lot by a country mile! Yes sometimes you can’t get through on the phone as that’s because they are busy! A good sign in my opinion.

If I could rate this a zero I would. Raw chicken served to us in the sweet and sour chicken. Rest of the food disgusting and we threw it away. When I went to resolve this with images and the chicken, they did not want to deal with this and simply gave us £6 back - out of a £40 order. Wouldn't recommend - steer clear in case of food poisoning!!

Enjoyed my mid week treat, was yummy and well priced.

If I could give 0 stars I would- steer clear!!!! Absolutely shocking service received tonight. I placed an order and then waited 2 hours! I tried calling multiple times but the lines were so busy i couldn’t get through. Over 100 times I tried! I finally got through after 2 hours to be told that the wrong address had been taken down, they had tried calling me (a lie) and that my address does not have parking so they cannot come (another lie, as I had explained to the person I made the order with what to do). The phone lines then cut out and again no response so I made my way to store to be rudely told by the woman in charge that it will be quicker if she re does my order rather than talk to me since she is so busy. I was shocked since the customer is always right and at that moment she made me feel like it was my fault that her staff cannot take down simple instructions and deliver food to an address o one if their busiest nights. I then waited a further 15 minutes, bringing my food to 2 hours and 30 minutes late and then was barely even told sorry, charged full price and asked where park I g is near me! I explained again that there is free parking which the owner didn’t like to hear and tried to argue that they did try calling and were busy. Clearly If you haven’t the time to receive and make calls then you need to stop taking orders. I will never be ordering from such an unprofessional business again. Shocking service on Christmas Eve of all days.

Of all the Chinese takeaway I've had in London, this is by far the most delicious. I had the dragon express special fried rice and loved it. Great portion size with a delicious sauce over vegetables, chicken, beef, and prawns. I also highly recommend the duck rolls. I'll definitely be eating here again!

I’ve ordered twice from dragon express in recent weeks as our usual Chinese closed due to covid. It’s the best one we’ve tried in the area. Really great chow mein with wonderful smokey flavour. Lemon chicken was also perfect and portion sizes are generous. Clean, tasty and generous are the 3 musts for a chinese and this place hits all 3.

this is the best Chinese takeaway around. my family & me have been customers for years & wouldn't go anywhere else. the food is excellent & they are some of the nicest people too. delivery is fast. i now live slightly out of the area but this is still my go to take away.

DO NOT USE. We ordered a takeaway but, we had to pick it up. They only gave us part of the order when we picked it up and we had to go back to get the rest. Even then, they still hadn’t supplied everything we ordered. They then tried to blame us for their mistake. Beyond all of this, it was ridiculously expensive and the food was extremely poor quality and lacked taste. You might as well go to the Blackbirds pub opposite and get a Chinese as they are a fraction of the price and the food is far, far better. We will never you them again, it was just terrible.

The Lam’s are one of the kindest set of Chinese that I have ever come across and their chicken chow mein is even better! Happy Chinese New Year!

Ordered mixed Hor D oeuvres ... as part of our order Turned up with overcooked and rubbery - satay chicken HOW they allow to send this out .. also one rib undercooked Phoned and complained wanted to see products first then replaced while rest of food getting cold ! Received replacement awful. Again Not received a phone call to check We stopped using them for a few months somfort we would re try but obviously no improvement! 0/5

If I could rate this place 0 I would. I asked for shrimp fried rice with extra mushroom and green chilli, the guy behind the counter started shouting at me, and told me to stop telling him what to do. The worst customer experience I have ever had at any shop EVER. He obviously has some mental health issue, I left the shop to avoid any altercation. Best to avoid at all costs.

Ordered Chicken Chow Mein, Chicken with Mushrooms and a Singapore Fried Rice. We had tried the Singapore Fried Rice previously and were not satisfied because is was not spicy but this time we loved it. The portion size is always large but there was so much meat (various) in it this time that we decided it was sufficient for the pair of us without either the other 2 meals. As a result we enjoyed this take away each day for 2 days so it was almost like "buy one get one free"

Best takeaway I've had in a while in London. The singapore fried rice and crispy chilli beef were fab.

The worst takeaway I've ever had. My husband returned home with a takeaway and I was shocked when I opened the containers, not only did it smell disgusting it tasted even worse. We will never ever use the Dragon Express chinese takeaway again and will be telling all our friends and family to avoid. I would strongly advise that you avoid the Dragon Express and don't waste your money. The three star rating from the food hygiene agency is also concerning.

Had a takeaway from Dragon Express!!! The quality of the food is absolutely horrendous!!! It went straight in the bin as soon as I got home. The special chow mein was especially bad, the overcooked reheated noodles were disgusting and inedible. This takeaway has got a very low food hygiene rating of 3 stars??? I'm surprised it's that high!!! They do not accept debit cards or credit cards and demand that you pay in cash!!! And even tell you to go and get it from the co-op cash machine up the road, is that for the customers benefit or theirs? I will not be returning and I would strongly advise to avoid at all costs. A total waste of hard earned cash.

Banging food especially the ribs!

I have telephoned orders through on many occasions. They repeat the order back but a couple of times dishes have been missing. Unfortunately when you call back the customer service is lacking. Both times they insist I did not order the dish even though they repeated it back to me (their attitude is they just don’t care). On the plus side the food is good but a bit pricey compared to others.

This was the worse take away ever. Not authentic and very difficult to order.

Lovely food Dragon Express! However there were some very rude chefs pointing and talking about me while I was waiting for my takeout.

Have used this take away for many years and never had a problem until recently. When it comes to a rice dish to accompany the main meal we always go for a Singapore rice which is usually excellent. This time, however, it was very mild flavoured and a big disappointment.

Great food, always delivered really quickly. Owners are friendly. I wouldn't consider using another Chinese restaurant all the time I live here

As a regular user of Drago Express I am astonished at their disappointing attitude towards their regular and loyal customers. I recently went in to order dishes to be delivered to my home, thinking that by the time I walk home they will be delivered still hot. My order fell 40 pence short of the minimum £15.00.. they insisted that I spend to exceed the £15.00 even though they had nothing for 40 pence!! I and my best friend who lives opposite will not be using this business again.. I guess you have become complacent and too big for your boots.. I will now use Sherwood Garden and encourage everyone I know and many of my regular mates in the the pub opposite to do the same...

Excellent food, good value, just have to wait when busy, which is usually on a Saturday evening, but you can always order to collect then pop into The Blackbirds for a swift pint.

great for fresh wok based cooking but also you pay for it. quite pricey compared to other local Chinese. a basic set meal or starter is £15 to £20 where elsewhere they are cheaper alternatives

I have eaten food from here for years and take great pleasure in being the person that added this to TripAdvisor. I probably order food from here at least once a week and have amassed maybe 200+ orders over a long period of time The kitchen is open to view by customers and you can see everything that goes on, it's clean and incredibly tasty. The staff are really friendly and always take the time to say hello with a lovely smile and welcome. Take away orders are freshly cooked and prepared in a miraculously quick time, usually less than 15 minutes after ordering. I've tried most things on the menu, they have a great Thai section on the menu too and have never been disappointed with the portion size, fresh ingredients or tastiness of the food. I never order Chinese food from anywhere else, it simply can't be beaten... it is by far the best place within miles... if you haven't tried it, do so....

The food is slightly above average, the curry sauce is very good, but the extremely low Hygiene rating as rated by the Food Standard Agency means that sadly I wont be getting a takeaway from here again{unless their rating improves} Check your local takeaways hygiene rating at the Food Standards Agency web site.
