One if the best pastries I’ve tried in England, great service in the shop, definitely coming back when I’m in Severn Beach

Came her after we visited somewhere else that wasn't serving food (even though it was a cafe!). I grew up here and have NEVER eaten here, and I don't know why! Really good shortbread, and the cheese and onion slice I had was amazing. Little one loved her sausage roll, she's never eaten a whole one before and clearly it was fantastic because she demolished it! Great place to stop for a snack before hitting the park or beach.

A great visit yet again and close to the train station - eat in (at a small extra charge) or takeaway - prices are very reasonable for both Toilets are a couple of blocks down Opening hours are Monday to Saturday 0730 to 1730 and on Sunday 10.00 to 16.00 Great finish at the end of a walk They are pretty quick if there is a queue

This is a great little bakery to get something to eat after a lengthy walk along the Severn Way. Staff are happy and smiling and the food is tasty and well priced. What a little gem.

A bit cramped if you want to eat in but a wide range of fresh food to take away, especially if you have a large appetite. Very generous portions.

I have used this a couple of times and am always pleased with the service and the food and it is always at a reasonable price, even if you sit inside - at least you get a proper mug of tea - limited seats inside and some outside if the weather is nice and it is a good way of combining a bakery and tea place when there is limited other places around in that area The place is great for walkers and is not far from the train station - about 2 to 3 minutes but allow 5 - they also do takeaway teas if you are in a rush - I used this and will be doing a walk in a few weeks and even if we do not have time to sit down I will be at least takeaway something Their cakes/bread etc. is baked at their shop in Filton Bristol I will be back either with friends or on my own

Just by the newsagents (McColl's) been there on several occasions after a walk and whilst waiting for the train - as with previous comments a great little bakery, with various delicious cakes and savoury's - eat in (little extra charge) or takeaway available - seating outside if the weather is good. All at a reasonable price. Good for everyone, walkers, cyclists, tourists and families

Yes, come to this place. Is it just an old baker? No. This is all home made. Bread is like I had as a child. Sausage rolls and so on are wonderful. Sandwiches are fab. Tourists should come here and see the REAL BAKERY, not blasted Greggs boooo. They sell traditional cakes and traditional items. Some seating inside and outside.

Great little place, half bakery half café. Ideal stop for a coffee and a hot snack - I had the meat pasty - yum! Seating inside and out (in case the sun shines).

We visited back in June after they reopened with new owners and a new menu. We had tried The White Harte before which has the same menu. We went for the Himalayan menu as it’s something different! Starters we had chilli chicken & chicken momo, both delicious starters. Mains we had Himalayan lamb chops & Gurkha chicken, both mains were really good and the lamb had so much flavour! Really enjoyed the food again & the service was good which makes all the difference. They’ve also got a really good IPA on tap!

Sunday Lunch, with friends. I regularly visited this lovely venue about 40 years ago when it was a watering hole for the local farming community. What a difference! It has a beautifully created rustic atmosphere, and we were seated in the large Conservatory at the rear, with its lovely view across fields to village Church. Service was excellent, as was the food. There is absolutely nothing I could fault. The venue was busy and deserved to be, but that detracted nothing from a great experience. Very well done.

Eat here many times with my family good is always spot on and huge portions never had any bad experiences here can't help but think the negative comments are from other cafe owners who are showing their jealousy, and the staff here can never do enough for you really friendly people welcoming place

Fantastic, ordered party food for 50, portion sizes were really generous, quality of the food was really good! When we discussed our needs ordering, it was suggested that we order less than originally planned. That was helpful on our wallet and from the 29 trays of food we initially thought was still too much, we ended the party with just 3 with various leftovers. Will not hesitate to use again in the future. Well done the sandwich shop! 👍
