Raff was a brilliant host, very friendly and good food and drinks, thank you to the Dirty Bones team.

Good food, atmosphere was ok, food came very quickly for every course, which made the experience feel rushed. Didn't accept American Express which felt at odds with asking you to pay £80 for a meal for 2 including a 12.5% service charge.

We had a lovely dinner at Dirty Bones with quick and friendly service from Raff. Would highly recommend to anyone looking for a meal out in Oxford for a good atmosphere and reasonable prices!

Shrey is a star!! Absolutely blown away by the prompt and polite service, wonderful food and enticing atmosphere will definitely be back again very soon!

We went to Dirty Bones for lunch and the burgers were incredible! Possibly one of the best burgers I've had. We also had the donut, ice cream sandwich and Oreo cheesecake which we would highly recommend. The staff were very attentive and super friendly.

Please do yourself a favour and skip this place. Extremely pricey for what you get. Almost 13% service charge for below par service at best. Sticky and dirty tables. Fried chicken is FISHY and always almost burnt. Mac n cheese is horrendous. Beef burger is so smelly and has bad texture. I can’t even begin to explain just how disappointing this place is. 0/10

This was a good stop for us on our trip to Oxford for the Ice Hockey, the place is well presented and the service was really attentive. The food came out and was nicely presented and good quality and we enjoyed the Happy Hour 2 for 1 cocktails also. A pleasant find I'll visit again when I return to Oxford happily.

The food was great but the service is even better. Ambience is cool and laid back. Some retro vintage motif + 90-2000s music. We had the Big Daddy which was excellent with the smoky barbecue flavor but size is a bit small. The Classic, which has nice flavor and the sauce that you can put on any sandwich, and some skinny fries that can give five guys fries a run for their money. Raff who serve us drinks and food was amazing. He was working hard but still has time for the customer. He was cool when some guest drop glass and food on the table. His friendly personality makes us stay in the restaurant. We will definitely come back.

Great atmosphere but food was a let down for the high price.

We had a pleasant lunch here, its not bad, but did feel a little bit annoyed about some things, mainly the tator tots being frozen inside - they did take them back and re fry for us but still - it's pretty basic to fry things until they're not frozen inside, especially when your brand is fried things. The food was average, sounded nicer than it was but pretty nice and good portions. Also the "kids eat free" didn't include drinks, my children asked for fanta (a drink is included on the kids deal) and the waiter said "it's not fanta it's lemonade and orange juice". Anyways, turns out that the cost of each orange and lemonade was a whopping £8 for a child's drink (the waiter did not warn us or mention it wouldn't be included) - which is about the same amount as the kids meal deal of a starter, drink, main course and pudding. So ended up costing us double. Plus you can't eat off the set menu if you get the kids deal, so it cost £120 for 2 adults and 2 "free" children plus 2 children on the meal deal. We had a salad and shared a fries and a glass of wine each - it just seemed mad for frozen food that they didn't even fry properly, some fizzy orange and 2 salads and 2 small house wines plus they automatically add service which is very cheeky when they know we sent our food back (I'd expect them to comp this or take off the cost of the meal that went back). Found the breakfast club next door much more reasonable, better food and nothing still frozen in the middle.

My family and myself went for the lunch menu on a Wednesday and we had the nachos and unlimited wings sharer. The food was amazing and great portion sizes for the price! Would definitely recommend and will be back next time we are down in Oxford! Thank you to Shrey for the fantastic service!

A nice place to grab a quick bite before heading onto other spots for the evening. Our server, Grey, was wonderful. He was incredibly helpful, especially as I have an allergy that can be problematic. I didn't feel like an inconvenience and that was down to him. The food came out quickly and the drinks selection was great. I would certainly recommend for a cheeky meet up with friends.

As I have a number of unusual food allergies it isn’t the sort of restaurant that can adapt easily. Our waiter always checked with the chef what was possible and gave me alternatives. Shrey, our waiter was attentive without being overbearing and always helpful.
