Quaint little homely tearoom out in the sticks, lovely views with lovely homemade food! The two ladies were really welcoming and we will definitely be going back. If you go at the right time make sure to pick yourself a pot of homemade whortleberry jam! Thank you so much and see you again really soon

Very friendly pleasant ladies, offering a good choice of beverages and food in comfy 'homely' cafe. We enjoyed a cuppa on the terrace and the sun was shining so that was a bonus. We will be back to visit when you open again next season. It has inspired us to take more walks around the mine trails and to visit Carn Brea again !

A daytime cafe opening in 2018 on Mon,Wed and Thurs but now closed until Spring 2019 - may be open more in 2019 and Nursery extended. My wife and I visited on their last day in 2018 but were warmly greeted and had delicious homemade vegetable soup. Unfortunately we were last to sample their homemade cakes which perhaps could have been fresher. There is plenty of parking and spacious restaurant. Told better signage will be ready for new walking season.

The staff here made the visit a real pleasure. Lunch was lovely too. Check opening as open just 3 days per week.

This is a lovely little tearoom. The two ladies who run it are very friendly and helpful. Food is home cooked and extremely nice. The pottery in which you have your drinks is lovely and makes you want to have more than one drink. We just had tea for two, a slice of home made victoria sponge and home made millionaires shortbread. There is a wide variety of meals to choose from at sensible prices. We will revisit shortly.

We've been to the Dewspring a few times now, and had a warm welcome each time. From the road, it doesn't look too promising, but it's worth persevering with. Most of the food served is grown on the premises. The menu is simple, but wholesome. You can also buy a few plants there too!

This tearoom is run by two friendly, efficient ladies. We were given a glass of gluhwein or mulled wine when first sitting at the table. We were given the menus and there were 6 choices for each course. We had salmon mousse. We were also brought a dish of warm home-made breads with lots of knobs of butter. I had roast beef with vegetables on the plate and a separate dish of vegetables (5 vegetables). The roast potatoes were were lovely and crisp. My Son had a 5-fish pie with sweetcorn and vegetables. There was more than we could eat. There was horseradish sauce and mustard and a good jug of gravy. I had plain ice cream and my son had christmas pudding ice cream which was delicious. We then had a pot of tea and a mince pie. The crockery was lovely - glazed ceramic. All in all it was a lovely meal, well presented and nicely served. It must be noted that it is a cash only payment system at the moment. Highly recommended - will definitely go there again.

Very friendly tearoom, dog friendly too. We called in for a coffee and cake and then after a walk to the monument and castle at Carn Brea we returned for some lunch. Would definitely recommend.

We have passed this cafe advertising board many times and said we would try it. Well today we did. It is a cosy little place - the staff were very friendly and helpful. There were tables inside and out and we chose to sit outside which was lovely. We had tea for two and two slices of a victoria sponge which had just come out from the kitchen. It was very nice indeed and the crockery was different and attractive. The ladies in the tearooms came out a couple of times to check everything was OK. In passing we asked for confirmation of opening times which alter at the end of this month. Meals are served all day and there are cream teas available. The lady told us they are open on Christmas Day and Boxing Day and as we usually go out for lunch on Boxing Day, we booked for that. A pleasure to visit.

Absolutely wonderful visit. The cream tea was the best I think I’ve ever had. Warm scones, huge pot of cream and delicious jam, must be homemade. The tea was piping hot and came with an additional tea bag should you like it strong.

Haven't stayed, but excellent range of well-kept cask ales including normally a couple from Penzance Brewing Co in Crowlas, near Penzance.

What a gem! We had no idea where to go for lunch but chose the shed; a great choice! The steak was so good and the sole cooked to perfection. Great wine, appetisers and dessert to boot. Fantastic value and the service was great Thank you so much.
