Totally lacking in atmosphere and expensive. Coffee good but took ages to come. Very unfriendly. Staff seem to be zoned out and devoid of charm

Lovely coffee shop with a beautiful homewares shop selling Scandi inspired items and lovely cards. Great tasty coffee, with a great selection of cakes, pastries, and some lunch time toasted sandwich options. One of my favourite Knutsford cafes!

Avoid, Rude staff, very judgmental and not welcoming of children. Food is overpriced and the cakes are dry and inedible. Staff look down on customers and try and rush you so they can get the table back for others. They clearly want take out customers as they certainly do not welcome families.

Excellent coffee, delightful people, elegant Scandi homeware. Delicious pea, courgette and mint soup. A hidden gem in Knutsford. Do not be put off by temporary scaffolding outside.

This place serves lovely coffee and hot chocolate, it’s a nice space with great cards and things to buy. But would a smile hurt from the staff? On two occasions I’ve received no smiles from all members of staff, very minimal interaction, no ‘what can I get for you today?’ just a blank stare while you stand at the counter wondering whether they’re even aware that you’re there. On my last visit with my daughter on Sunday 18th Feb, all three staff behind the counter were more interested in chatting between themselves. The girl serving me didn’t even bother to tell me how much our order was - just blankly held out the card machine, no thank you or any comment at all. The drinks were plonked on the table without a word or any eye contact. It’s a shame because the coffee is great, but the overall experience is lacking in friendliness. Perhaps I’ve been unlucky but with other great friendly cafes around I won’t be returning here.

Absolutely brilliant experience at Bubble Room- Alderley!! I booked the back room (Monkey Lounge) for a bottomless brunch for 23 people to celebrate birth of baby. We all had such a great time all thanks to the staff there. They were so attentive (Especially Elliot who was looking after us) and everyone commented on how good the food was, how great the service was and how smoothly everything ran. I dealt with Ruth and Elliot via email in advance and they did everything they could to ensure the day went to plan as I wanted it. We had the best day and will definitely be booking again for our next event! Thank you Bubble Room!!!

I first saw someone post about staying here on Instagram, and booked it for a romantic break with my Husband. We only live 30 mins away, but why not, eh?! We decided to push the boat out and stayed in the most expensive room - Picpoul. It had a separate seating area, along with a bathroom with roll top bath and separate shower up a short flight of stairs. The room was quirky and the bath was just devine! The only gripe was with the toilet which wasn’t very private - the way that the door is means that you can hear everything - perhaps not for new couples on their first break! It’d also have been good to have a mini fridge with milk for coffee and to store our drinks in. Nothing too much trouble and you can order stuff from the pub downstairs, which can just be added to your bill. The stay also includes a cooked breakfast, which was amazing! We ate in the pub too - absolutely loved it, very quirky and atmospheric. The ‘special’ lamb in a wild garlic veloute with potato rosti was honestly one of the best things I’ve ever eaten. Sticky toffee pudding crème brûlée also fab! Friendly waitress who made some recommendations on the wine and we had a giggle with. Popped over the road for a couple of drinks at the Bulls Head, which was a lovely pub too. Can’t wait to come back!

6 of us went for a birthday celebration, one of the party is a coeliac, staff were extremely helpful and made us feel comfortable in explaining all of the gluten free options. Food was delicious 🤤 If we lived closer it would definitely be our go to place to eat.
