Super fish and chips. Freshly cooked and more chips than any normal person could eat!

Possibly the best, most consistent fish 'n' chips in the South. Wednesday wouldn't be Wednesday without Dave and his sunny disposition. Yes, you'll need to wait while your food is cooked to order, so a little planning is needed. But the individual frying is what makes it so good. Find the van opposite the Community Centre. Try the haddock and the mushy peas (but leave some for me)

Dave was spot on when he catered for our private party... Timley, professional, polite... Food was fresh and piping hot... And he's a thoroughly nice guy! Would hire DBs again in a heartbeat!

Lovely chips & veggie burgers, found the staff friendly, lovely to chat to & helpful.

Waited 75mins for food, of a '40'min wait, had to ask if my food is still in the que as seen multiple other customers that ordered after collecting theirs before, to find the food had been sitting in the heater above, staff not really fussed

Food is decent but rude staff, never heard of smiling and just treat customers poorly, surprised no one confronts them as you can tell they’re only interested in receiving money and not pleasing customers, serving for the wrong reasons. Worst service I’ve received on a daily basis.

Pleased with the quality of the food but the poor attitude to the customers (not just me, saw it towards other customers while waiting) and the ridiculously long wait for the food certainly put me off.

Food was good and have consistently had good quality meals from here. However, I would describe this as "service without a smile" when placing or giving my order it felt like I was more a burden than a customer to them. It has put me off so will likely try elsewhere now.

Had wait 1hr and 20 minutes.When we got there they gave us extra 15 minuets after that it 10 minuets so they lied which they could of said 1hr 40 minuets. Food wasn’t that grate stale chips.Waited in the cold for someone who’s walking they should provide some warmth and somewhere for us to sit .Never come back again and they could have wrapped it in paper to keep the food warm.

I was looking 4ward 2 trying "DB's fish 'n' chips", but 2 things have put me off. No huss /rock salmon anymore, it was on the menu in the recent past, but has been removed : I'm guessing Southerners, don't know what they are missing LOL. Also a 45 minute wait 4 an order 2 B processed. As I have specific dietary needs, I couldn't wait that long. So in the end went 2 "North Camp Fish Bar". IF a wait of that length is normal, maybe a sign on the van informing potential customers that this is the case.

Cooked to order so there can be a wait if busy, but definitely worth it!

Chips nice, fish ordinary. Price expensive. Bad attitude

Great team and great fish & chips. Have been a customer since Dave has been in yateley. The times not quite to Dave,s standard you can count on one hand. Nobody's perfect!!! . Keep it up .MikeB.

Had to wait over an hour for food and then it was wrong. When I told the lady in the van I just got rudeness and had to wait another hour. Food was pretty ordinary.

First visit here - had heard about the quality food and wanted to support a local enterprise. Sadly, it's much overrated. Fish was nice, but chips were soggy and so, so greasy. But most of all the service was appalling. No service with a smile, no friendly banter - in fact both the man and woman were incredibly rude, offhand and unhelpful. Will definitely not be returning and will not be recommending it to anyone either.

1st visit. Won't be last. Yes you have to wait 20 mins tonight but I was in car and they give you pager. So when your order ready it goes off. Best Fish n Chips I have had outside of my holiday haunt in North Devon. Lovely white thick cod. Crispy thin batter and great chips. 👍👍 Excellent. I will make this a regular Wednesday night vist.

Really good fish and chips. Professional service love the van and all the condiment nothing forgotten. Pickled eggs, onions, gherkins everything. Best chips I have had in a long time, real chips not skinny! Food was good , the variety was vast, love the ticket system , order go back have a drink and then eat what more could you ask for. Great recommend for any party. Well done to a really hard working team. M

Van is In Sherfield Park on Wednesdays. Lovely fish and the best triple fried chips I have had for a long time. Fish is cooked fresh so you have to wait but thats a plus point . Will use again soon. Regret not having used it before as in my top 5 fish and chips anywhere.
