Darcy's Kitchen in Portsmouth

Realmente desearía haber dicho algo, pero estábamos demasiado avergonzados. El desayuno que acabamos de tomar fue horrible. Pedí huevos y soldados de marmita. Los huevos estaban duros como la roca y la tostada no estaba untada con mantequilla y la marmita salió por separado. Es difícil untar con mantequilla las tostadas después de que se cortaron en soldados y ahora estaban frías para que la mantequilla no se derritiera en la tostada. Mi esposo pidió un desayuno vegetariano. El aguacate estaba marrón y en realidad apagado, los huevos estaban mocosos. Realmente decepcionado, así que pagamos y nos fuimos lo antes posible

Muy bien decorado e individual. Desayuno bastante bueno pero la espera fue muy larga! ! ! Incluso tardó unos 20 minutos en conseguir nuestro café. Resuelva esto y será un buen lugar para desayunar

This restaurant has recently changed hands and name. It has a relaxed bar bistro vibe, and the staff were friendly and welcoming, and even got to meet Darcy herself. It has a satisfyingly compact menu. I went with two friends, and ordered Eggs Benedict, with the others ordering Eggs Royal, and Chicken Cacciatore. All were plentiful and tasty, and the coffee was good too. Disappointing that it's not open in the evenings, but a good choice for breakfast, lunch or just a drink/coffee.
