our usual cafe closed today went to another no hot food so went to the Daisy Chain, very friendly staff good food proper poached egg, Daisy breakfast very good tasty sausage, will be back many thanks.

Called in with my family with two small children. The staff were very accommodating and friendly. The food was delicious and very reasonably priced.

Popped in here today for a ham sandwich today waited outside for it to be made 15 mins later asked about my sandwich only to see them rushing to make it They Sell nice ham but my ham straight out of a packet very disappointed

We enjoy the odd cake or pasty from here and it's always lovely. This time though I need a lunch/cakes for 2 vegetarian colleagues for a meeting in my garden. We had a gorgeous variety of still freshly baked, still warm, quiche and veggie sausage rolls plus sandwiches, olives and tomatoes. We also had cream tea and cakes. It was all excellent. I definitely intend to try more from their menu and the service was so friendly.

Paul and the team always offer the very best service and food. The whole team always greet you with a smile of welcome and cater for all needs. My wife has a few food allergies but there are always alternatives on offer. Whenever I visit Bristol, this is the first booking I make. Keep up the excellent work Daisy Chain

Have been here so many times, but still love the food, and the people that work there are lovely. They are always willing to change the menu to suit you. Cannot fault the food.

Decided on an impromptu lunch following a long dog walk, but wish we had not bothered. We were ignored for 10 minutes, standing in the hot sun, then when we did finally manage to enquire about a table we were offered a table outside in the covered area to the side. However whilst the waitress was preparing the table another waitress told us we could not sit there with the dog (outside!). We were advised another table was just coming free in front of the cafe and would we mind waiting. Then the owner stormed out and aggressively said sorry there are no tables available!! We queried that a table (the second one!) had just been offered, and he disappeared inside. The original waitress then returned to tell us no, the table is not available. Shocking service for a local cafe. If you’re a dog owner don’t expect to be treated well here. We have frequented this cafe on school runs over the years, but will not be setting foot in here ever again. At a time when local businesses are calling out to be supported, this is how you treat people who try to embrace local chains. Shame on you Daisy Chain best going to the Gingerbread Cafe from now on.

This little cafe /deli is amazing. The food is simple and delicious and despite being very busy our group was served very quickly. There are an assortment of lovely cheeses, pickles, oils and vinegar, the pickled onions we bought are delicious. Would definitely go again whenever we can.

What lovely staff and service, When I’m passing I always pop in to get a cheese,ham,red onion and Red sauce sandwich not a red tomato The sandwich is the best that I have had and the young lady who makes my sandwich always smiles and haves a laugh with me, Will keep going back when I’m in the area

My wife and I visit the deli most Fridays for lunch, either to eat in or as a takeaway. The food is consistently of a very high standard and the staff are very efficient and friendly. They sell a wide range of other goods and we always buy our cheese here when we have friends to stay at weekends. Highly recommended!

We use the deli to order salads and sandwiches for lunch during work hours and the salad is always very fresh and a wide variety! We also phone up to place are order and it’s always ready by the lovely staff when we arrived 5*

What a wonderful place to spend an hour eating the best food served by a team of young and friendly staff. The Manager Paul, takes the time to come out and say hello and get to know you. There is a lovely feel about this place and its very popular with the locals, young and old. there is a big selection of local produce to buy and an even better selection of home made cakes. if you haven't ben to the Daisy chain Deli - you are missing a trick

The Daisy Chain is a lovely little cafe with so much to offer. Takeaway or sitting in is available which is why I believe it's so popular. The range of people coming in and out is incredible! From salads, soups, quiche, baguette to sausage rolls - I'm yet to taste something bad out of there. Big thumbs up!

Great little place too watch the world go by inn a sunny day. Good choice of menu & the cups of Coffee ani't bad either.

Great food, great service, great price. Stopped here for a quick lunch on a Saturday. Food was lovely, salad was interesting and tasty with giant cous-cous and staff were really friendly. Visit this if you are in this area!

We have now eaten here twice. Both times it has been consistently of a very high quality. The sausage was very tasty and the bacon was unsmoked, which makes a pleasant change. They also provide food to take away. It is also a deli with a good range of things, including some excellent cheeses such as Comté.

Met my mate here for a breakfast catch up. Its a much better venue now than it was when it first opened. It didn't seem to know whether it was a Delicatessen or a Cafe. Now its a Cafe and quite a good one.The full breakfast (large) is good.Two sausages of reasonable quality but not everyone appreciates the Artisan sausages packed full of meat. In fact my lot wont eat a sausage if 'Its got lumps in it".Mushrooms were fine, Bacon was good nicely cooked and there was lots of it. Hash Browns were crisp and dry. There was a large portion of Beans, Maybe too big as it spilt all over the plate. couple of fresh grilled Tomatoes and two very nicely cooked eggs (Fried) filled the plate almost to bursting. Thankfully the toast (theres a choice of bread) was served on a separate plate or it would have been impossible to eat.This is a good breakfast if a little expensive and I would have liked a larger plate to accommodate the food.The tea came in a big pot with an offer to top us up if we needed more.Cups were nice too, not too big and rather nicely shaped.There was no sauce or salt and pepper on the table but the server offered to bring this if we needed it.Seating was comfortable, there was plenty of space and we could watch the world go by through the big windows.Staff were very friendly and helpful.All in this place has improved considerably and is a welcomed addition to the village.

He visitado este lugar para el desayuno de la semana. Yo no estaba de humor para una fritanga grasienta, pero que no había ninguna opción de avena/granola/yogur, fruta, etc., así que acabamos de tener tostadas. Mi marido pidió un desayuno que era 6.50 que baguette parecía bastante cara para lo que era.

The food these guys serve here is of a very good quality, certain things can be quite expensive, especially the scotch eggs £2.80 for one!! This aside the food is very good

Visited last week with a friend for a catch-up after hearing great comments about this place. OMG - I wasn't disappointed. I ordered a hot chocolate and a chocolate brownie. The hot chocolate was served in a large cup and was completed with cream, marshmallows and chocolate sprinkles, more than hit the mark, and the brownie was just completely out of this world. Extremely chocolatey and moreish. The diet went completely out of the window!! The cost was £9.60 for two hot chocolates and two brownies - I don't know if that is especially expensive or not but I would rather pay a couple of quid more and have quality as opposed to paying less and having a watery hot chocolate and a stale brownie. Superb little find and the staff were completely lovely - will be back again soon.

This place is not on the main routes through the village but is literally two minutes away. Lots of free parking outside. This place is excellent and reasonably priced. The quality is beyond reproach and there is an abundance of classic car related reading material. Will be going back to sample the cakeage on offer.

Small village café with friendly staff, good coffee and fresh food. It is great for families and catching up with friends.

Amazing food, friendly service and perfect for either a sit down or take away bite to eat. I recommend trying the Robbie baguette, very special!

The Deli never fails to disappoint for lunch. Ask for the special ploughman's and you'll receive a delicious plate of home made goodness including potato salad, pork pies, couscous, bread and salad. The Deli also sells amazing bread and meats too. Oh and their scotch eggs are the best!

This is not my first visit to the cafe but the first time I have eaten there. The owner was very accommodating with my diet which is primarily vegan and he modified one of the lunchtime dishes to suit me. There seemed to be a good choice of sandwiches and rolls which all looked very well filled and tasty. There is always a good selection of cakes and drinks for sale. Overall this is very good local cafe with a choice of tasty food and drink at a reasonable cost and a very pleasant environment. I would recommend a visit.

I visit this place on a regular basis for its friendly atmosphere & great good. A favourite as a meeting place for the locals this place offers personal service with excellent food & possibly the best cakes I've ever tasted.

We used Daisy Chain for my mum's funeral and the food was lovely. Many people commented on how nice it was. It was also delivered on time and was very fresh. Would thoroughly recommend if you are catering your own function.The Mulcahy family

Have visited the Daisy Chain Deli on a couple of occasions with friends and family and can say that it is by far one of the best deli's in the Bristol area. The deli food is fantastic, prepared freshly by Terry the owner who has a wealth of experience in the business. His wife prepares all of the cakes available which if you have room after your meal are delicious. Well worth a visit if you are in the area.
