Curry Palace in West Oxfordshire

Visited the newly opened buffet. Wasn’t very appealing, like a cheap cafe with poorly laid out buffet section at front of restaurant. Selection of starters bland and not very appealing. Curries were okay, nothing really very flavoursome. Desserts hidden at back, icecream we were told, didn’t try them. Can BYO drink, with soft drinks included in price of buffet. Music playing was too loud and quite irritating, couldn’t hear each other speak. Fine if you want to gorge on curry cheaply.

Never again! Our starters were average, the ‘butterfly prawn’ was mostly bread crumb and very little prawn and extremely dry. The chicken Shashlick was cooked to almost sawdust, dry and tough and inedible. Why do you get a punnet of salad? It is neither in keeping or in this case edible.

Taste of the curry - out of this word! Absolutely delicious, cannot recommend it enough. Will definitely order again!

We've eaten in, and out, and the quality never fails - if you eat in, Mohammed is the gaffer, he runs the place with charm and a firm hand on the service - Raf, his son, equally charming, and an easy conversationalist, always a smile, nothing's too much trouble. You can see exactly why this place has been going so long, it's just the best! I, like everyone, have a favourite, ( King prawn mehmaani, peshwari nan, pilau rice, my wife the madras, but ghete are many classics to choose from. With ice-cold Cobra on draft or Kingfisher bottles, what more do you want!!

Visited recently. The staff there were so attentive, took a last minute booking and we are so glad they did. The food was fantastic, tasty and really good value. Would definitely recommend that you visit and enjoy the delicious Indian food and the smiles of the staff. Thank you for a gorgeous meal.

I have been going to curry paradise for as many years as I can remember it’s always great food and what a lovely family run it they look after you and the prices are great would highly recommend

I went to the Curry Paradise and had been greeted very well and had been sat at the table quickly. The meal was great, a very good mix of spice and flavor. A definite one to revisit and I recommend you do the same!

Hay siempre una cálida bienvenida (el director es un tío encantador) y la comida es excelente, con una gran variedad en el menú. El personal es amable y siempre es una buena relación calidad-precio. Hay otros buenos restaurantes indios en Witney pero siempre me gusta el curry paraíso. Lo recomiendo.

I have had their curry's a few times but find them very watery. Much prefer other curry houses in Witney such as the Raj, Shaan and Eastern Cuisine.

Went here whilst staying with my family who live in Witney. The restaurant was very welcoming, there was a good selection on the menu. The service was excellent & so was the food. Would definitely recommend it.

He estado yendo aquí durante 15 años. La decoración es buena y cómoda. El personal es muy profesional y el eagle Eye del Sr. Mohammed mantiene ellos a la altura. La comida es muy buena y a veces excepcional. Todos los platos estándar y unos cuantos nuevos que quizás no hemos probado antes. Siempre, pero siempre delicioso. Sin ingredientes artificiales y precios muy razonables. ¿Qué más se puede pedir? También hay otros restaurantes ir y venir pero el paraíso de curry restos y por una buena razón.

I used to use curry paradise all the time eating in and for takeaways as it is always usually quite busy and good however when myself and a friend visited the restaurant at the weekend we were very dissapointed! Upon arrival the place was near enough empty with some of the staff actually sitting at empty tables with nothing to do. We sat down and our drinks order was taken promptly we ordered popadoms at the same time, tbh I was concerned straight away the mango chutney was warm and our mint sauce was also warm with a slightly sour taste. We went on to order a chicken tikka massala and a lamb bhuna.. the flavor was nice in both dishes but my friends tikka massala was mainly sauce with about 4 small pieces of chicken, same with my bhuna it was nicely flavoured but again only about 4 small pieces of chewy lamb. Service was good and plates were cleared and we were given dessert menu promptly but after our main we felt let down especially as it wasnt even busy. We asked for the bill and left feeling as if we hadnt had spent our money well. we definatley wont be going back to curry paradise anytime soon as standards have unfortunately dropped!!

El amplio restaurante en el que disfrutar de una comida india, decoradas con buen gusto con diversas fotografías y artefactos indias. un menú amplio y variado hace que sea fácil para todos los gustos y sabores para ser atendidos. He estado yendo durante muchos años y nunca dejará de tener una comida estupenda. Mo, Rafi y el personal es muy atento y todas sus necesidades. Una vez unos meses tienen una noche Elvis india gritar que es una absoluta. organizar una despedida y podría haber ido mejor, hasta me dejaron entrar en 5 para decorar las mesas, etc. Un lugar que debes comer en que vivimos en ningún sitio en Witney o de las zonas colindantes.

Una gran comida cada vez que visite. rafi siempre que mis amigos y yo sentir bienvenido y siempre dejar debidamente lleno! Los precios también son una buena relación calidad-precio para la porción en comparación con otros restaurantes indios locales! El único inconveniente es que no entregar a mi puerta!!

metimos en el camino a casa del trabajo como el restaurante estaba lleno, preparados para un largo esperar. resultó que me sorprendió gratamente con la amistosa forma en que mi pedido fue tomada y el tiempo que tardamos en llegar. Una vez hogar sinceramente puedo decir que la comida superó todas mis expectativas tan sabrosa y no de grasa en conjunto un fantástico llevar me hubiera encantado disfrutamos si me senté en un restaurante cinco estrellas!!

unbelieveably disapointing food. very bland, tasteless, spiceless, oily food. ordered chicken tikka madras and chicken tikka rogan josh and my 2 year old son could have eaten the madras and i couldnt tell the difference between the two dishes. if it wasnt for the fact it was tikka chicken and served with keema rice, it would have had no taste at all. had a side of brinjal bhaji and my wife refused to eat any after trying one mouthful, so we left it and when we came to clear at the end of the evening there was about 150 ml of oil sat on top. alot of food thrown away that night i will never go near the place again. i can make better myself and a shop bought ready meal would have been ten times tastier. paradise it aint!

incapaces de salir a comer decidimos que en una comida para llevar por mi cumpleaños. curry paraíso lo habían recomendado, así que pedimos y recogido. Hemos estado aquí tres veces y que es simplemente a la estupenda comida y servicio amable. no es una ocasión especial, pero no tienden a ir para una comida india cuando queremos algo especial. El pan Naan son especialmente buenos. El menú es genial, con una amplia selección de sus platos indios habituales, con algunos aperitivos deliciosos. Tienen unos 'chef el curry de platos especiales' es especialmente agradable y pescado. Sin duda, uno de los dos mejores indios en Witney. familia amable y siempre está ocupado.

La selección de la comida es maravillosa, cocinado a perfecttion. Sus ofertas en un domingo son sin duda merece la pena ir y a veces tienen entretenimiento así.

Paramos en Witney en nuestro camino de vuelta de Blenheim Palace. Decidimos comer aquí por un capricho; no nos decepcionó. Muy, muy buena comida india y algunos platos que no habíamos visto antes. Probamos todos los nuevos platos, muy sabroso. El servicio era excelente y el entorno era muy lujoso por su restaurante indio promedio. Sin duda comer aquí.

El personal agradable, la comida está bien, pero no es nada especial, paupadams eran grasienta y Rusia tenía sabor de color oscuro. El curry estaba bien ... muy bueno pero el arroz estaba vieja calentados de bultos enganchado.bueno si estás con los chicos, pero no es el lugar para un plato especial

La comida era excelente. Reservamos una mesa para 5, pero cuando llegamos no podían realmente era adecuado para nosotros, estábamos casi no cabía en la parte trasera cerca de los baños y la cocina, donde realmente sólo una mesa para 4 caben. Aparte de eso, todo estaba muy bueno. Volvería sin dudarlo.

Somos dos parejas de Canadá. Estábamos de vacaciones en mayo de este año (2012) y pasar varios días en un B&B; en la zona de Witney. Nos Topamos con este restaurante una noche buscando una cena tardía y volvimos otra vez otro día porque la comida era muy buena.

Mi título resume el curry paraíso exactamente.

Este lugar ha estado alrededor de más de 20 años y nunca normas antideslizante. excepcional en todos los niveles. El personal de comida siempre son primera tarifa. hay una amplia selección de restaurantes en Witney, sin embargo, para este tipo de comida, hay divertidas. Sin embargo aparcar sin aparcamiento Waitrose está justo al otro lado de la calle o al centro comercial Mariotts justo detrás. Disfrute.

Pues bien, siempre había comida para llevar desde aquí porque su menos estimado que es vecina 'el curry del Raj House. La comida siempre ha sido genial y el hombre que trabaja en el mostrador de recepción es muy amable y agradable. Me senté en el restaurante por primera vez este fin de semana pasado. estaba muy, muy concurrido y por desgracia el servicio era un poco lento y los camareros parecía un poco acosado. Pero la comida era excelente. y, a pesar de los números, el personal era muy tentativos.

Había leído varias críticas y decidimos darle a este lugar una oportunidad ya que no conocen la zona. no nos decepcionó y volvería si en la zona de nuevo. Muy buena selección y el personal no podía hacer más para ayudar. Llegamos sin reserva el viernes por la noche, pero estábamos sentados sin problema, aunque estaban ocupados a las 7:30. Éramos un grupo de 4 que incluía 2 niños. comida llegó rápidamente, tamaños calientes y buenas porciones. Nos fuimos muy lleno, pero no demasiado llenos y nos lo pasamos de maravilla. Excelente relación calidad-precio.

Beeb there twice now once at lunch and other in evening and have found this to be best Indian in Witney. Friendly service and offers if 20% off for takeaway collections. Will return again.

He estado en Curry paraíso en mi primera visita semana pasada. La comida estaba fría y el servicio era muy pobre. Cuando les dije que mi comida el mesero me argueing comenzó en vez de disculpa. Los camareros eran simplemente caminar y hablar entre ellos. completamente decepcionado mientras que era mi primera visita con mi novia.

Más extras mientras pides y esperar y muy atentos camareros, especialmente Rafi que hemos vuelto a ver muchas veces! vino básica pero buena cerveza Tiger con comida. selección de buffet el domingo era muy buena relación calidad-precio y vamos a volver pronto con un grupo de amigos. correr de noche de Elvis cada tan a menudo es divertidísimo haber asistido con las chicas justo antes de Navidad! Un sitio de paso obligado para bebidas de correos comida o una hora o dos como una pareja.

Siempre tenía muy buena comida, un servicio estupendo y que han sido siempre muy bien con nuestros niños. Muy recomendable y como una persona de fondo asiático que es alabanza! On the night I visited it was to order a take away, I was welcomed by a very friendly and polite staff. I had not phoned in advance so obviously my wait was a little longer but I was kept informed of the progress of my meal and was included in conversations throughout the wait. I found the food to be a high quality and very good value for money. The next time I want an Indian Take away I will have no hesitation in returning to Curry Paradise.

We heard very good reviews and were really looking forward to dining here. Perhaps we did catch them also on a bad day, the service was slow and at times bad tempered. There seemed to be a lot of crashing and banging noises coming from the kitchen, which went on all evening. The food was not properly prepared and seemed to be loaded with excessive salt and raw onions. The dessert was served in it's plastic wrapping, which came apart as it was frozen solid.

Simply a great place to have curry - having been over many many years the quality and service never fail to please. Tasty, varied menu, always fresh and the staff friendly and attentive. Decor is definitely unique and a little quirky but still stylish and well presented.

I have walked past the Curry Paradise in Witney literally hundreds of times without a second glance. Situated on the High Street it looks a bit drab from the outside but it was recommended to me by a colleague so my wife and I gave it a go.

My husband has tried every curry house in Witney (we live locally) and he refuses to get curry from anywhere other than the curry paradise now.

Fuimos en para un viernes el almuerzo. restaurante estaba fría y era oscura, un poco como el camarero. El korma 7.50 vegetariana era simplemente extraño, nunca tuvimos korma 7.50 que era agradable antes. Muy extraño. Me gustaría que les brindan el beneficio de la duda, tal vez solo agarramos ellos en un mal día, pero no creo que volvamos a volver a hacer otro ir.

Nos alojamos y eynsham hall y fuimos a whitney no tengo una maravilla antes de volver a casa esa tarde. Sólo íbamos a tener café y un sándwich o un bocado luz en un pub, pero el curry paraíso tenía un almuerzo tiempo menú £5-95 para 3, campo aperitivos, platos principales y café. El puestos atractivo sólo agarramos nosotros y en fuimos...¡uauh fue que bueno, el personal era tan simpático y la música era impresionante. Así que estaba limpia y era preciosa decoración. Algún día un no es de curry sólo después de una noche fuera y una pinta de cerveza, y éste es genial en cualquier momento.

The art of finding a good curry house is consistency. CP is such a gem, the food is consistently good. I have eaten here many many times and have nothing but priase for the quality of the meals servered here. The staff are really nice people who make you welcome at all times, refreshingly good service.

Our usual take away. Great food and excellent service! Front of house staff are very friendly and even know your name after many frequent Saturday night visits. Really worth a visit too.
