Aaron who served us was fantastic

Alex helped us through all the process of our indecisive family ordering food and drinks. He went above and beyond made the whole experience a great laugh and a better atmosphere. Food was bang on and the stella was flowing.

Food was good service was great alex was eager to help and efficiently solved any issues I had

alex made us feel welcome. tended to our big table throughout. 👍

Came in for lunch with my friend and couldn’t have been happier! We were served by Caitlin at the bar who was very helpful and recommend the carvery and was very efficient getting our drinks order ready too! Thank you Caitlin!

Great service from Louis food always so good and fast

The farmers arms was a awesome place to visit. I found it by accident. I pulled into the very spacious car park. Found my way inside to be greeted by I have to say one of the most friendliest and welcoming members of staff I have ever met. The person was called Natalie she gave the best customer service I have received in a very long time. She is an absolute credit to the company. If only more staff in other places where the same. So as this is a pizza and carvery venue I opted for the pizza and a bowl of chips and a 0.0 Guinness to wash it all down with. They have a great selection of alcohol and non alcohol drinks from cans of iron bru right upto your premium spirits. So the pizza arrived and it did not disappoint. Check out my pictures to see for yourself. It was so fresh and tasty. All in all I had a wonderful time here on the chance encounter. Will definitely be coming back to try a carvery and more yummy pizzas. Also I believe they are getting a refurbishment so it will be nice to come back to see the new look with the same amazing friendly staff. Thank you 😊

Food on carvery can be look warm, but good value for money. Book if you're a bigger group. Back again all 10 of us as they have something for everyone. Choice of 5 veg roast potatoes and mash.

Shout out to Katie , Louis , and the lady with red hair (sorry forgot ur name ) and the other young lady with brown hair (sorry forgot your name too. ) & anyone else I’ve missed as I’ve not met one member of staff yet who’s left a negative impact so well done team .. always. great service , I’m always made to feel welcome , there always ready to serve me my usual drink in my particular glasses , a pub where I can relax for an hour or so after work with a couple of pints having abit of me time before going home to sort the family out .. farmers arms is a great pub with a friendly welcoming atmosphere , lovely regulars who make me feel part of the pub and great management .. from the seniors (lady with blonde hair ) & to the deputy’s to the managers including the two lady managers and male manager .. who always greet me with an hello a smile and goodbye on leaving .. big thanks to the whole team at farmers arms .. thanku from the carling lady .. keep up the great work .. can’t wait to see the pub after the new refurb .. good luck & carry on being great 👌🙏

Paid £14 plus delivery for a carvery. Very little meat. Food ok. But won’t be doing this again.

Came for a family meal with 14 family members with no booking but Gemma managed to sort us out by putting multiple tables together my family members were so impressed because usually we all have to sit apart and she still managed to fit us all together the service was great and food was great too and good pricing

Not been for a long time but decided to give it a try and its a different place now absolutely fantastic. Carvery was wonderful all nice and fresh and fully stocked unlike the last visit again several years ago. It was nice to bump into Mel the manager who I recognise from another pub she used to run. Will be back soon 👍🏼

My family and I popped into the Stonehouse Carvery recently, and we were really impressed! From the second we walked in, Emily gave us such a warm welcome and made us feel right at home. The whole place had a really cozy vibe, perfect for a chilled-out meal. The food was amazing — super fresh, tasty, and plenty of it! The roast meats and sides were spot on, and you could really tell they put some love into making it all. Emily was brilliant too, always making sure we were looked after and had everything we needed. It’s not often you find a spot that nails the food, the atmosphere, and the service, but Stonehouse Carvery did just that. We’ll definitely be coming back!

We were served by Alex. He was very helpful, friendly, and very informative. I had previously asked him about the food and he told me it would be brought out by a member of staff, which he did. When we finished because we had ordered 2 courses he went above and beyond and was very kind and got them for us because we weren't sure what to do. A very good member of staff.

We have been here loads of times, and usually the food is ok, but today the totally opposite. The food on the carvery was awful. The mash was a lumpy gloopy mess, and the roast potatoes were dry, and tasted horrible, like a chewy texture, no doubt reheated, as no way do fresh potatoes taste like that. Very disappointed and won't be back.

The food wasn't good, the Roast potatoes were dry and chewy obviously been reheated or sat there for hours, mashed potato was a gloopy lump. Far better carveries around.

Had a cheeseburger. Honestly I would have been disappointed if I had got it from a cheap burger van. Tasteless

whatever time of the day you go the food is always good, staff are nice and helpful, prices are ridiculously low compared to most other places nearby, 5 of us went for tea, had a round of drinks and only parted with £60!

We've visited here on numerous occasions over the years and, although the place itself has had a few ups and downs, the food itself has always been good. On Saturday we got in there at about 2pm so the place had quietened down from the peak lunchtime rush and sadly some of the food had dried up quite badly, particularly the mash and stuffing. This is something that can happen on a carvery or buffet and we do appreciate it must be difficult for them to gauge. I have their lovely gravy so it was less of a problem for me than it was for my wife and son who both don't have gravy (madness) The meat however was fabulous and generous portions were given, even the beef was tasty which isn't always the case. It remains one of our favourite places when we fancy a roast dinner and look forward to our next visit. We did notice on the menu that they've introduced some very good mid week deals which we may try as we once had pizzas and they were surprising good

All you can eat breakfast x2 unlimited toast with unlimited tea x2 with blue light card £16.00. Good quality food with no waiting.

Extremely run down and very dirty, thick dust all over light shade and mouldy food down the back of the furniture. yorkshire pudding returned as my daughter couldn't bite it as it was so hard drinking glass filthy and prawns like rubber and tasteless cold philly cheese chips. Nothing succulent about the chicken sharer dry wings and deep fried overdone dippers. Gravy was disgusting had been sat there for a long time not much in the bowls and awful. Came out £36 later and feeling sick as a dog. We have been here before for carvery and was OK. I will however say that the staff here are so good and lovely if only the food matched the level of service. We won't be back .

Many years since I visited here and many years since the place had a refurb, extremely tired looking building and quite hesitant on entering however staff lovely couldn't have been more helpful. Carvery VALUE for money and very tasty, Thank you will visit again

Came to the Farmers for a family meal with relatives we haven’t seen for a while. we was greeted by Mel at the door with a nice friendly smile and found the perfect place for us to be seated. overall the experience of the farmers itself was very good but the service from Mel herself was outstanding. will not hesitate in coming back.

Lovely food, I had the Sunday carvery which was really nice, good selection of veg and a reasonable amount if meat. The atmosphere was great, relaxed and friendly. By booking ahead, we were welcome yo sit inside to eat with our two dogs.

Went in at a busy time was packed Really nice waitress came over to make sure everything was ok with our food and couldn't do enough for us. Even had a brief convo bout cars she pointed out her awesome toyota starlet I believe her name was Gemma or something along those lines as one of her colleagues called out to her Her and the team did an amazing job as always Food was spot on too

The three senior members of my family, who went for a meal, remember the Farms Arms over the years as being an extremely good place to eat. We were also accompanied by my two grangs sons. The food was ordered. Nothing was heard for more that 30 minutes when he was asked by the waitress did he wish to have his garlic bread before the main coures. He stated yes and were were told our food was only a couple of minutes away. The food finaly arrive 45 minutes after ir had been ordered. I had ordered fish and chips. The food was cold and been served on a cold plate. My son in law's burger and chips was also served cold. My of my grandson's burger arrived with no sight of the second one. I and my son in law took our meals back and they were taken from us but no member of staff informed us what was to happen. My second grandson's burger arrived. They stated that the meals were poor tasteing and unappitising. My son in law's meal and mine were represented. His described his as rubbish. My own meal was the worst I had had in a pub/restaurent, but I had to eat some because I am diabetic. My own meal was just more than luke warm, with the fish poorly battered and very greasy. The chips were only just warm and the peas were a mixture of over cooked and undercooked one. No member of the management approached us to ask about our experience. No one was interested.

Visited recently while staying in the area. Would like to give special mention to Dom Davies whose attentive service that night was much appreciated. He helped us find a quieter table for our anxious, autistic son and really made him feel comfortable. It’s nice to see an understanding of neurodivergent needs in your staff - he’s a credit to the business.

I have visited the Farmers Arms a few times recently and staff have been friendly and welcoming. Dom couldn't do enough for me when I was ordering a meal with dietary requirements and ensured everything was OK during the meal. On returning for another visit Dom warmly welcomed us and remembered the dietary requirements from last time and ensured that the waitress who took our order understood too. Customer service at its finest. Looking forward to our next visit.

Had a fantastic meal the other day, brilliant service. Dom was very helpful in making sure my groups allergens were all seen to - which were many! Often find it's too much for restaurants and staff get overwhelmed and a bit grumpy but Dom kept a cool head with all our requests and nothing was a burden to him. Will definitely be visiting again soon and telling our friends to go there from now on. Amazing food, fantastic service and a great atmosphere, what else can you ask for as a customer!

I went in with some family for a late breakfast. Caitlin made sure we had everything we needed and I got the strawberry and chocolate waffles after her recommendation. We were also taken very good care of at the bar with Keira. We will definitely be coming again soon
